Rashad Jennings Latest Athlete to Win "Dancing With The Stars" (PHOTO GALLERY)

Rashad Jennings now joins the ranks of athletes who came out on top of “Dancing with the Stars.” He got the Mirrorball trophy Tuesday night, and the trend is clear. Ten athletes — from figure skaters to football stars — have taken home all the…

Dancing With the Stars Results: Meet the Mirrorball Winner!

Did Dancing With the Stars deliver a stunner in its last results show of the spring? After the past several weeks, one would almost assume so.

To recap, we’ve seen the elimination of Nancy Kerrigan, Simone Biles and Heather Morris, arguably three of the four top stars this year.

ALL BEFORE THE FINALE!

On Monday, that left Normani Kordei of Fifth Harmony fame to battle athletes Rashad Jennings and David Ross for the Mirrorball.

Could Normani stave off a hard-charging Rashad, who was doubly perfect last night, and David, who … gets a lot of fan support?!

One never knows anymore.

The first half of the Dancing with the Stars finale was great in terms of TV to watch, but good luck using it to handicap the results.

The second? Even more so.

Before the winner could be announced, each of the final three still had to dance one last time in a 24 hour fusion challenge.

Only then could they complete their judges’ scores; America, presumably, had already voted for David Ross enough times.

After those final dances, David earned 36 points with all nines, remaining at the bottom with an aggregate total of 109 over two nights.

Normani added a perfect score of 40 to her total and Rashad missed a perfect by one point, nearly making it a trifecta this week.

That put Rashad at 119 and Normani just one point behind at 118 in their final scores, pretty much making this a two-horse race.

Fortunately for NFL running back Jennings, that one nine from Len that kept him from a perfect 120 did not end up mattering.

He won! Congratulations to Rashad!

Jennings, who claimed that despite being a pro athlete, he’d never won anything, was elated along with partner Emma Slater.

Jennings follows in the footsteps of three prior DWTS winners who played in the NFL: Emmitt Smith, Hines Ward and Donald Driver.

Other football stars who have competed: Jerry Rice finished second, Calvin Johnson took third and Lawrence Taylor placed seventh.

Ross, interestingly, was the first Major League Baseball player to compete on DWTS, and he actually survived the third-place announcement.

Yes, Ross beat Normani for second. Dancing With the Stars voters are an interesting bunch, as they’ve shown time and again this year.

Jennings, a 32-year-old free agent, tweeted that he never would have imagined he would appear on the show, let alone win the thing.

But he has done just that.

Ross, 40, who partnered with Lindsay Arnold on his improbably run, wrote that he “couldn’t be happier” for Jennings and Slater.

While Rashad may not be the most surprising addition to the illustrious list of winners above, his season may be the most controversial.

For better or worse, it will likely be remembered for the slew of shocking elimination results that took place before we even got to the finals.

Once there, Rashad acquitted himself extremely well – he did top Normani on points as well – but could he have bested Heather? Simone?

We’ll never know.

The voters have spoken in any case: Did America get it right? Has Dancing With the Stars lost a step after 20-plus seasons? Discuss.

Dancing with the Stars Recap: It"s the Final Countdown

Part one of Dancing with the Stars’ two-night finale event aired Monday night, and who can even guess how the results might shake out.

The way this season has gone, no Dancing with the Stars results make any sense, so we may well be poised for an upset Tuesday.

Heading into the finale, we really should be looking at three of these four dancers competing: Nancy, Simone, Heather, and Normani.

Instead, we have Normani Kordei against … Rashad Jennings and David Ross. So she should walk away with the title easily, right?

Don’t bet on it, after a slew of perfect scores Monday, and Dancing with the Stars’ viewers propensity to vote based on … who knows!?

Anyway, each of the three remaining celebrities erned a chance for redemption on a previous dance, as well as a freestyle last night.

Let’s break down how they all did, shall we?

Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater

Redemption Rumba: 40/40

Freestyle: 40/40

Total: 80/80!

Rashad and Emma took the top spot in terms of scores, as the NFL pro’s contemporary routine was a perfect mix of soft and powerful.

His freestyle was so on point that it’s too bad he couldn’t get more than the maximum 40 points. Maybe the voters will find the means.

Normani Kordei and Valentin Chmerkovskiy

Redemption Quickstep: 38/40

Freestyle: 40/40

Total: 78/80!

With no Simone Biles left, the judges were forced to call out Normani and her body suit/pants, but even then they struggled to complain.

A simple but mesmerizing freestyle helped maintain her status as the woman to beat on the finale tonight … we think. And we hope.

David Ross and Lindsay Arnold

Redemption Viennese Waltz: 33/40

Freestyle: 40/40

Total: 73/80!

David Ross can’t win, can he? Proof that personality and smile can get you anywhere in life, he earned a spot in the finals. Due credit.

His first score of 33 may be tough to overcome, even with a freestyle that used up every baseball gimmick out there to join the 40/40 club.

So? Who do you think will win Dancing With the Stars and join this illustrious list of winners tonight? Hit the comments and let us know!

Simone Biles Reacts to Dancing with the Stars Stunner

Simon Biles is as shocked as you are.

But she may be in a better place emotionally than many Dancing with the Stars fans at the moment.

On Monday night, the ABC reality competition delivered its latest shocker, announcing that Biles had been eliminated a week prior to the finals…

… despite garnering TWO perfect scores just minutes before getting the axe.

On the live semifinal episode, viewers watched the final four celebrities – Simone Biles, David Ross, Rashad Jennings and Normani Kordei – compete for a chance to win the whole shebang next Monday night.

After Jennings and Kordei were confirmed as safe, Biles, Ross and their partners were left standing.

And that’s when host Tom Bergeron uttered the words very few expected him to say.

“The couple leaving right now is… Simone and Sasha.”

Cue a collective gasp from the audience and expressions of amazement from the judges.

“I am in absolute shock,” said co-host Erin Andrews.

Earlier in the evening, during a pre-taped video package, Biles grew emotional when recounting some of the judges’ critiques from previous weeks.

She had infamously been told to smile and enjoy herself more on the dance floor, for instance.

“Last week was really fun. I loved both of our dances, but the judges’ comments hurt,” Biles said during rehearsals this week, adding:

“It made me feel like I didn’t work hard enough, but I knew I had.”

Speaking through tears to partner Sasha Farber, Biles also said the following:

“I feel like I’ve been trying my hardest and they just keep saying no. I can only try so hard until I’m done.”

And now she is done, although it certainly wasn’t for a lack of effort, lack of talent or even a lack of strong scores.

“I found out a lot about myself,” Biles told reporters after her elimination.

“I think today I experienced what they wanted. It felt refreshing. I did feel free, so I cant ask anymore. We went out with a bang.”

The gymnast, of course, has a Gold Medal to go home to, so we need not shed too many tears for Simone Biles.

She has proven herself on a stage much larger and much more significant than Dancing with the Stars.

It’s a perspective Biles seems to fortunately possess, as she told journalists last night that a few weeks off does sound awfully nice right about now.

“I’ve been going nonstop since the Olympics,” said the star athlete, who plans on waiting a year before getting back into he gym to train to compete for a spot on the 2020 U.S. Olympic team.

“I’m going to take time off, go on vacations, spend family time, friend time. I’m going to take some time and finally relax.”

Well deserved, that’s for sure!

What do you think of Biles getting the boot?

And who do you think will take home the Mirrorball Trophy next week?

Dancing With the Stars Results: A Semifinal Shocker! What is Up With This Show?!

One of Dancing With the Stars’ most controversial seasons in history is coming down the home stretch, and it’s still anyone’s title to grab.

Just not one of the favorites.

Oh yes. Having already seen the elimination of Heather Morris, we were treated to another results shocker Monday night on the parquet.

Rashad Jennings, David Ross, Normani Kordei and Simone Biles have made it to the final four, vying to join the illustrious list of winners.

This week, the fab four and their respective partners would dance twice, and one dancer would be sent home before next week’s finale.

Let’s see how they did … and stunning Dancing with the Stars results awaited us at the end of the night (this was a real doozy, people).

David Ross and Lindsay Arnold

Unquestionably the weakest of the final four (still, to even make the final four is impressive), the ballplayer struggled a touch on the Foxtrot.

Just the same, he’s progressed so much, and his tango to “Castle on a Hill” was up there with the most memorable routines of the year.

Judges Challenge: 34/40

Unlearned Dance: 36/40

Total: 70!

Normani Kordei and Valentin Chmerkovskiy

The Fifth Harmony member stumbled a bit during her Viennese Waltz, but that was barely perceptible. But then she achieved perfection.

Her jazz routine set to “What a Wonderful World” earned a standing ovation and was as good as any routine on any season.

Judges Challenge: 36/40

Unlearned Dance: 40/40

Total: 76!

Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater

The NFL running back turned in a strong rumba, and an even stronger quickstep, continuing to show improvement week in and week out.

Judges Challenge: 38/40

Unlearned Dance: 39/40

Total: 77!

Simone Biles and Sasha Farber

After last week’s iconic “smiling doesn’t win gold medals” comment, Simone set out to have some fun doing the jive, and she delivered.

Biles landed her first perfect score, then added another in the form of a rumba that also showcased her personality and her talents.

Judges Challenge: 40/40

Unlearned Dance: 40/40

Total: 80!

So naturally, at the end of Monday’s episode, Simone was the one to be sent home. We wish we were kidding, but that’s DWTS for you.

After Heather Morris’ exit, and to a degree Nancy Kerrigan’s, Simone looked all but assured of a place in this season’s final four.

We know, two shocking ousters shouldn’t preclude a third, but given her place among these four, how could she not make it?

Then to put together an 80/80 on top of that … what gives? Apparently, David Ross’ votes outweighed Biles’ in spite of all that.

Half of the scores that determine who gets voted off come from fans, so Ross must have accumulated A LOT more of those.

Shame. Brandy’s exit back in Season 11, and perhaps Morris’ a few weeks earlier this spring, were equally bad, but this? This?

It may go down as the strangest of the strange Dancing With the Stars results we’ve seen over the show’s 24 seasons on air.

Simone Biles to Dancing with the Stars Judges: Don"t Tell Me to Smile!

It’s official:

Simone Biles isn’t just a world champion gymnast.

She’s also a world champion comeback generator.

On Dancing with the Stars last night, Biles advanced to this season’s semifinals on the heels of a solid Foxtrot and a strong Paso doble.

But the former Olympian didn’t totally win over the judges with these routines, as Carrie Ann Inaba took Biles to task less for her dancing skills and more for her lack of emotion.

“Your skills are unquestionable,” Inaba said, prior to getting into the crux of her critique:

“You hit every line with precision and perfection. But once again, I’m going to come back to performance and authenticity about who you are when you perform…

“You have this beautiful smile and you are a megastar with your energy, but once in a while, there’s beauty without a smile.

“There’s beauty in pain and all of the other emotions, and I’d like to see more of that.”

Julianne Hough agreed with her fellow panelist.

“I don’t know if the smile is authentic because you want to smile, or if it’s just because you rehearsed it that way,” she told Biles.

“I really just want to see some rawness come out.”

This is, of course, completely ridiculous. And also a bit sexist.

Can you imagine any judge telling a male contestant to smile more naturally?

Fortunately, Biles had the perfect response to this odd and unfair criticism.

“I’ve lived in a gym 14 years of my life, so it’s hard to show something I’ve never felt before,” she said at first, offering up a valid excuse for why she isn’t a natural on the dance floor.

But after remaining stoic upon hearing positive reviews after her second performance, and then being asked by Tom Bergeron why she still wasn’t smiling, Biles responded:

Smiling doesn’t win you gold medals.

BAM!

And Biles would know.

This amazing comeback earned the athlete quite a bit of praise and admiration across social media.

And then there was this:

Following the episode, Biles and her partner Sasha Farber spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the struggle she’s had to connect with the judges this season.

“I feel like everyone has their own opinion, clearly, and I feel it’s just how you take it,” Biles said, adding:

“I feel like I am trying, I am being honest, but if they don’t see that, I don’t know what more I can do.”

An intense competitor, Biles is accustomed to simply getting the job done; not concerning herself with what sort of emotions are displayed on her face.

“You don’t know which wild card of sexy or of happy they want to bring, and you almost have to read their minds and find it,” she told ET last night, concluding that she nearly broke down on live television.

“I had tears in my eyes. I almost ran to the bathroom at one point, but I pulled it together.”

You go, Simone Biles!

If we have it our way, this impressive young woman will win the entire thing this season…

… and then accept the Mirrorball Trophy without even the faintest hint of a smile.

Dancing With the Stars Results: Final Four on the Floor!

What quickly and unexpectedly became one of Dancing With the Stars’ most controversial seasons ever is coming down the home stretch.

And it is still very much anyone’s Mirror Ball to win.

We witnessed the shocking elimination of Heather Morris, followed by last week’s Dancing With Stars results which ousted Nick and Nancy.

Heading into Monday night, Bonner Bolton, David Ross, Normani Kordei, Simone Biles and Rashad Jennings are the only stars left.

Who would advance to earn a spot in the final four?

It turns out the ride is finally over for bull rider Bonner Bolton and his partner, Sharna Burgess, and on a note that is somewhat fitting.

The duo, who made headlines from the get-go this spring when Bonner grabbed Sharna’s crotch, caused more sexy controversy this week.

It was their second dance that really got people buzzing, and if you based your takeaways on the judges’ feedback, not in a good way.

“This is very much like an intertwined office love triangle, love affair,” Burgess said about the jazz number during the couple’s rehearsals.

“We are having a lot of fun in this trio,” the professional dancer added, even if, she cautioned, “we don’t quite have the moves down yet.”

Choreographed to the hit music of Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like,” Bolton, 29, and Burgess, 31, were joined by DWTS’ Britt Stewart.

The judges were far from impressed.

“I feel like I need to take a shower. It was kind of raunchy,” Carrie Ann Inaba said. “I mean, you guys looked amazing and very sexy.”

“I loved the high concept … it was very clean and pristine. And I felt like Bonner you didn’t pop as much as I needed you to pop.”

“Next to these two booty-popping,” Carrie Ann added, “you didn’t booty-pop, I noticed that … a lot, but not quite enough Bonner from you.”

Burgess and Stewart dressed as sexy secretaries dancing around CEO Bolton, his desk covered in money, didn’t do it for Len either.

“From me, this was a little bit too – I’m 73 – a little bit too raunchy for the old guy, really,” said Goodman, and Julianne Hough concurred.

“I think I’m still recovering from that performance. I know they are still recovering. They loved that,” she said of the live studio crowd.

“I feel like we watched like the security cameras and I feel bad … the production was awesome. The girls are sassy as can be.”

“I definitely saw some step touches and some hip thrusts and that’s who’s going to be voting – America – and they like that.”

Not the case, apparently. Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews named Rashad Jennings and Bolton as one of two couples in danger Monday.

With the lowest combined total of judges’ and viewer votes, it was those two on the line in the moment of truth … and Bolton was ousted.

“I was very, very surprised at how far I went. I went further than I ever knew I would,” Bolton said after being eliminated Monday night.

“I’m so thankful for the journey that I got to take,” he added with class. “I found out how far I can really push myself and how much I can take.”

Jennings, Ross, Normani Kordei and Simone Biles will compete in the final four next week … did America get this one right, DWTS fans?

Dancing With the Stars Results: 2 Fast 2 Furious (Eliminations)

After a stirring night of performances, Dancing With the Stars’ results sent TWO couples home last night on Hollywood Night on ABC.

Coming off of last week’s Dancing With the Stars results, nothing could compare in terms of shock value … but did the right duos go?

Let’s break down the routines in ascending order:

Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess (Western/Paso Doble): The first routine of the night was not its best. In fact, it was its least great.

For a guy who turned a lot of heads early on (and not just for groping Sharna), he’s yet to recapture the magic of a bona fide contender.

Score: 29/40

David Ross and Lindsay Arnold (Sci-Fi/Salsa): The MLBer looked just a little out of step with his partner at times during their salsa.

Like Bonner, Ross shows flashes of brilliance, but probably not nearly enough to hoist up the Mirror Ball trophy in a few weeks’ time.

Score: 32/40

Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd (Action/Argentine Tango): Give Nick credit, because as shameless as he is, dude’s got some talent!

Week in and week out he legitimately tries to improve, and darn if he hasn’t turned in some of the better routines of the week lately.

Score: 34/40

Nancy Kerrigan and Artem Chigvintsev (Romantic Comedy/Tango): Not the most exciting routine, and performing early, that matters.

It’s easy to get lost among later performances with the “wow” factor, though Kerrigan’s grace, charisma and technical abilities reign.

Score: 36/40

Simone Biles and Sasha Farber (Silent Film/Charleston): Sasha did a great job integrating gymnastics into this one, and she #NailedIt.

Score: 37/40

Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater (Horror/Paso Doble): The NFL star not only got into character, but excelled technically too.

Score: 37/40

Normani Kordei and pro Val Chmerkovskiy (Foreign Films/Argentine Tango): After Heather Morris’ elimination, would she be next?!

After all, the Fifth Harmony singer is the best remaining in the eyes of many observers, so the way things are going, she’s in danger!

Fortunately, the highest score earned immunity this time – no doubt a response to last week’s debacle – and she got it with a perfect one.

Not that Heather is too happy about this rule change a week too late, but probably a keeper if we’re doing this one-night-a-week format.

Score: 40/40

The six couples without immunity then entered into a dance-off which, as we saw in the elimination of Heather, may not matter at all.

In any case, Simone topped Nancy, Rashad beat David, and Bonner ousted Nick as fans and the judges picked a winner in real time.

And now, the Dancing With the Stars results …

Normani Kordei, who was immune, Simone Biles, Rashad Jennings, Bonner Bolton and David Ross made it through to the next round.

That means Nancy Kerrigan and Nick Viall have danced for the last time on ABC. At least until Nick finds his way back onto next season.

What do you think? Did America (and the judges) get things right this week, or should Nancy have advanced to the semifinals? Discuss!

Heather Morris and Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Dancing With the Stars Elimination: We Got F--ked!

Heather Morris and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are speaking out on this week’s stunning Dancing With the Stars results, and they’re pissed.

Sure, they’re a little bit more diplomatic about it than we might be, but it’s abundantly clear they agree with the Internet on this assessment:

They got f–ked!

In what was arguably the most shocking, and dubious, ouster in the 24-season history of Dancing With the Stars, Heather and Maks are out.

After they turned in a perfect score – the only one of the season, no less – and all the men were arbitrarily declared safe ahead of time.

It made literally no sense on any level, calling into question why the results don’t factor in routines we just watched 20 MINUTES EARLIER.

Moreover, why was there a men vs. women dance-off in the first place if one side already “won” ahead of time (they obviously lost on points)?

Totally ridiculous and unfair.

Maks and Heather aren’t offering up sound bites as candid as that, but in speaking with ET, they’re were still surprised about the outcome.

“Well, I mean we’ve had a few [surprising upsets],” Maks said.

“[It’s been] 24 seasons of the show … [but] I just never thought that that one of my [partners] was going to be a part of that shock.”

“Brandy [Norwood] and I didn’t make the final [in season 11] when I thought she was one of the best dancers that season.”

“Even [that] wasn’t as shocking as this. This is crazy.”

Chmerkovskiy was truly baffled by the elimination, saying that it was “so wrong, in terms of [dancing talent],” that it was “almost OK.”

That’s a glass-half-full attitude for you: Dancing With the Stars’ results system is now such a joke that you can’t even get upset about it.

It has to sting, though, especially under the circumstances.

After missing several weeks due to injury, Maks returned Monday night and dominated with Heather in a sultry rumba set to TLC’s “Waterfalls.”

The captivating, film noir-themed routine earned them roars from the crowd, raves from the judges and a perfect score: 40 out of 40.

Yet Nick Viall remains on the show and they don’t.

Morris, the former Glee star and Beyonce backup dancer, said she always prepares herself for the reality that she could get eliminated.

“I feel like, [as] with any show that you watch on TV, it’s like, you don’t really know what’s coming next,” Morris shared, taking the high road.

“I was kinda preparing for anything that could happen. So it was like, ‘OK, if this is going to happen, let’s just be positive and go out the right way.”

According to Morris, the part of their elimination that made her sad is the fact that “we all want to see [Chmerkovskiy] dance again.”

Even then, she’s exiting stage left without a parting shot:

“Everybody is so fantastic and welcoming, [so] it was like, nice to [know] that I’m saying goodbye, but I’m also going to see these people again.”

Maks doesn’t quite share that same sense of Zen.

“I’m pissed,” he admitted, though he concurred.

“[But] it’s not the last time [Heather Morris and I] will be doing stuff together and, you know, I’m looking forward to when that happens.”

What do you think? Was this robbery the biggest stunner in DWTS history, or were some of these previous elimination shockers worse?

Dancing With the Stars Results: The Most Shocking Elimination EVER?!

Dancing With the Stars’ 2017 season is already coming down to the wire, with the margin of error narrowing with each passing week on ABC.

Heather Morris, Simone Biles and Rashad Jennings, Normani Kordei, David Ross, Bonner Bolton and Nancy Kerrigan have all hung tough.

Oh, and Nick Viall is still on the show.

Whose luck would finally run out Monday night, as the top eight dancers competed under the ever-changing format for a spot next week?

Incredibly, it was a dancer NO ONE saw coming.

On Monday night’s Boy Bands vs. Girls Groups-themed episode, the remaining contestants took the stage fighting for survival as always.

A bizarre format change and a dubious voting system ended up doing in one of the best dancers, though. Let’s break down the scores:

Simone Biles with Sasha Farber – Samba – “Survivor” by Destiny’s Childo

Score: 35/40

Bonner Bolton with Sharna Burgess – Rumba – “I Want It That Way” by Backstreet Boys

Score: 30/40

Nancy Kerrigan with Artem Chigvintsev – Paso Doblé – “Free Your Mind” by En Vogue

Score: 33/40

Nick Viall with Peta Murgatroyd – Jive – “Fun, Fun, Fun” by The Beach Boys

Score: 28/40

Normani Kordei with Valentin Chmerkovskiy – Salsa – “When I Grow Up” by The Pussycat Dolls

Score: 38/40

David Ross with Lindsay Arnold – Argentine Tango – “I Want You Back” by *NSYNC

Score: 29/40

Rashad Jennings with Emma Slater – Tango – “Reach Out, I’ll Be There” by The Four Tops

Score: 37/40

Heather Morris with Maksim Chmerkovskiy – Rumba – “Waterfalls” by TLC

Score 40/40!

That’s right, the first perfect score of the season! But before team dances … it was announced which “team” would be safe next week.

One would think that because David, Nick and Bonner are all on the male team, then obviously, based on talent, they’d be in jeopardy.

One would be wrong, though.

The women, a group that includes Heather, Normani, Simone and Nancy, were in danger of elimination regardless of how they performed.

Those four went on to outscore the men, 34-33, in their respective team dances, but again, it doesn’t matter at all, which is so ridiculous.

So which one got eliminated? Remarkably, it came down to Nancy and Heather for elimination, and even more remarkable than that?

Heather Morris is OUT!

That’s right. After Morris hit the dance floor with returning pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy for the first time since week one, she’s done.

After he choreographed a rumba for the duo to the tunes of TLC’s “Waterfalls” that was lauded by audiences and judges alike, she’s done.

After she earned a score that was literally perfect, which no other dancer had done this week or this entire season, she’s done.

“Well, you hear the reaction. I’m shocked, audience not happy, how are you?” Erin Andrews asked Morris over the loud boos of wrath.

“I’m okay,” Morris said.

“It’s a hard competition and I’m really happy that I got to do exactly what I got to do. It was very, very fun,” she said, high road taken.

“I have to say, in 24 seasons, that was probably the most vocally unhappy reaction we’ve gotten about a result,” Tom Bergeron said.

That’s saying something, as there have been more than a few Dancing With the Stars results shockers over that span. But he’s not wrong.

Maks, like his partner, added, “I’m good, I’m good. I put in a lot of work to try and come back and give her the chance. I’m not saying anything.”

Added Morris, whom he called an inspiration: “I really really want to say thank you to both of them because they were magical. It was fantastic.”

What a joke.

Ironically, some people were saying Dancing With the Stars is rigged FOR Morris because the actress she used to he a dancer by trade.

Instead, a truly absurd and unfair voting system and arbitrary decision to keep the men safe (?!) combined to doom Heather last night.

It’s time for the show to rethink things. Yes, it’s a popularity contest, and the best dancers don’t always win, but this makes literally no sense.

Dancing with the Stars Recap: Who Survived Disney Week?

Dancing With the Stars’ spring 2017 season is in full bloom and the contenders are starting to set themselves apart from the pretenders.

While the likes of Heather Morris, Simone Biles and Rashad Jennings continue to set the bar high, others are battling just to survive.

Their fates are continuously in the hands of judges and fans, the remaining celebrities are fighting like hell to remain in the competition.

Whose luck ran out on Monday night – which just happened to Disney Week, a feast for the senses (and obvious corporate synergy)?

Let’s break down the routines and scores briefly …

Rashad Jennings with Emma Slater – Foxtrot – “Evermore” by Josh Groban from Beauty and the Beast

The NFL running back showed some real versatility with this routine, despite some footwork issues and a slight dropoff from last week.

Score: 32/40

Nick Viall with Peta Murgatroyd – Jazz – “I’ve Got No Strings” as sung by Dickie Jones from Pinocchio

We’re not sure if the irony of the song choice was lost on Nick or whether he played into it the whole way, but man was it fun.

The choreography and The Bachelor star breaking out of his Ken Doll shell a bit made this his best effort of the season by far.

Score: 34/40

Erika Jayne with Gleb Savchenko – Viennese Waltz – “Unforgettable” by Sia from Finding Dory

Whatever you think of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, she attacked this one with gusto and we loved every second.

Score: 32/40

Heather Morris with Maksim Chmerkovskiy (injured) – Jazz – “For the First Time in Forever” by Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell, from Frozen

For a Heather Morris dance, this one was surprisingly average, as it didn’t bring out the best of her abilities … by her standards, of course.

Score: 34/40.

Bonner Bolton with Sharna Burgess – Tango – “When Can I See You Again?” by Owl City from Wreck-It Ralph

Yes, a dance from Wreck-It Ralph … and Bonner and Sharna pulled off a nice dance to boot, one of their best even.

Considering his injury history, he’s not even able to go as big as he’d probably like, making it even more impressive.

Score: 30/40

Normani Kordei with Valentin Chmerkovskiy – Paso Doblé – “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” by Donny Osmond from Mulan

This was the one. Normani TOOK IT to Val with some quality fight choreography as well as some jaw-dropping moves.

Lest we forget, the Paso Doblé is perhaps the hardest dance to do, making her mastery of this one almost perfect.

Score: 39/40

David Ross with Lindsay Arnold – Jive – “Ride” by ZZ Ward from Cars 3

Ross’ strength is his ability to surprise when you don’t think he can pull off something like this, and it worked to his advantage.

Unfortunately, it was still a little bit flat-footed and he may not have too many more weeks left against must stiffer competition.

Score: 29/40

Nancy Kerrigan with Artem Chigvintsev – Jazz – “That’s How You Know” by Amy Adams from Enchanted

The former figure skating great is so artistic and princess-like that you almost forget she’s in a competition.

Score: 36/40

Simone Biles with Sasha Farber – Contemporary – “How Far I’ll Go” performed by Auli’i Cravalho, from Moana

Sasha loves to push limits and Simone can keep up, so this became half gymnastics meet and half modern dance in a sense.

Artistic as well as athletic, she showed why she’s probably the one to beat – although Normani will have a lot to say about that.

Score: 38/40

As for the Dancing With the Stars results, Erika and Gleb and Nick and Peta ended up in jeopardy, with Erika saying goodbye.

Due to the weird way this is scored, it happens after her best dance no less. Should we go back to a Tuesday results show?

Dancing With the Stars Results: Who Got the Axe?

Which celebrity got the pink slip from Dancing With the Stars, and who managed to eke a small victory in the form of advancing to the next stage of ABC’s tired dancing series?

With the likes of Heather Morris, Simone Biles and Rashad Jennings continuing to prove they may know a thing, or ten about dancing, which of the other people left the ballroom for good?

The best performance of the night was definitely Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater. Dancing to “Unconditionally” by Katy Perry, the duo emerged from the shadow of Heather Morris, and it was great.

Contemporary week, or not, this was a fantastic performance. The judges seemed to collectively agree that the duo is becoming a force on the dance floor and that the others should, like, go home because Rashad is getting the win.

Of course, we’re kidding about that last part, but seriously, they scored 39/40, which is almost a perfect score. Emma and Rashad were robbed of that one point!

Simone Biles and Sasha Farber were close to the top spot, but their performance of “Good, Good Father” by Chris Tomlin was another solid performance.

You would think that these people had already been dancing for many years before. Wait… Heather Morris has that going for her. That’s what made it pretty surprising her performance hit a lull.

That said, hitting a lull in a performance for Heather still means a score of 35/40. She and Alan went with “Shup Up and Dance” by Walk the Moon. Let’s just say her performances are becoming rather predictable.

This could be attributed to Maksim  Chmerkovskiy’s continued leave of absence from the series due to an injury. If Heather and Alan do not change things up next week, it could signal the end of her their time in the competition.

It’s crazy how a few weeks and a change of partner can change things, but that appears to be what’s happening here. Maybe Heather can hit up Beyoncè on the videophone for some coaching.

Normani Kordei and Valentin Chmerkovskiy continued to be on par with their earlier performances, but they really should be taking all the feedback on board and adapting by this point in the competition.

Scoring 32/40, they are going to be the bottom of the pack before they know it with the other people falling left, right and center.

Nick and Peta tried to jump on the Ed Sheeran bandwagon, by dancing to “Shape of You.” It was good, but it was also very flawed, and the judges picked up on it.

They scored 30/40.

Nancy Kerrigan and Artem Chigvintsev hit all the right moves to wind up with a cool 33/40.

Let’s talk about Mr. T. His performance with Kym Herjavec seemed like an audition. There was nothing to it. It was flawed and just horrible to watch.

They scored just 28/40.

After having a lot of comments about her performances, Erika Jayne opted for “Express Yourself” by Madonna. It was a great way to give the middle finger to the naysayers, but it was not the best performance of the night.

They scored 30/40.

Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess continued their display of PDA in dancing form. Seriously, there’s a connection, and it’s not just when Bonner’s hand has a mind of its own.

They scored 32/40.

By the end of the night, Mr. T and Erika Jayne were in danger, but Erika danced her way into next week.

What did you think of the drama?
