Henry Levy: Demi Lovato Is Dating a Fellow Addict and Fans Are Concerned
As we reported earlier today, Demi Lovato is out of rehab, and she’s not allowing her sobriety to interfere with her social life.
It looks as though Demi already has a new boyfriend, and while it’s nice to see her smile after such a difficult year, there may be cause for concern.
Typically, those who are new to recovery are discouraged from embarking on new romantic relationships.
But Demi’s new companion reportedly checks two boxes, as he’s both a source of emotional support and an expert on sobriety.
His name is Henry Levy, and he’s a clothing designer who’s been to rehab several times, having first sought treatment when he was 15 years old.
Now, that may sound like a recipe for disaster at first, as Demi’s latest relapse is so recent that she probably shouldn’t involve herself with another addict at the moment.
But those who know Henry best say he’s been sober for over a year and may actually be a good influence on Demi
His latest stint in rehab–where he reportedly re-connected with Demi–was apparently just a tune-up.
Although it can’t be that long since Levy’s last relapse, as here he is pouring himself a glass of whiskey in 2016.
Sources close to the situation say Henry and Demi have been friends for years, but their romance is a recent development.
Though not exactly a household name, Levy is no slouch in the fashion world, and his clothing has been worn by Sophie Turner, Kanye West, Sophia Richie and, of course, Demi.
So Henry’s successful in his own right … but that doesn’t mean he’s stable.
As head of Enfants Riches Deprimes (which translates to “rich depressed children”) Henry has stirred up a good deal of controversy over the years.
“If I wasn’t Jewish I would kill myself. Because I wouldn’t be rich,” Levy wrote on Facebook last year, much to the chagrin of customers and employees.
In the Complex magazine interview that accompanied the whiskey photo, Levy said that one of his primary artistic motivations is the rage he feels toward his parents for sending him to rehab.
Asked by the interviewer at that time if he was sober, Levy answered simply, “No.”
Now, close friendships and romantic relationships are common among rehab patients, but experts generally caution against them for a number of reasons.
Every addict and every recovery is different, but fans are already troubled by the fact that Demi left rehab months ahead of schedule.
The fact that the new man in her life is relatively newly sober himself is likely to be greeted with even greater concern.
After all, the stakes couldn’t be higher.
Demi’s overdose in July nearly claimed her life.
With the help of family, friends, fans, and an army of specialists, Demi recently celebrated 90 days of sobriety.
But just like every other addict, she’s always just one bad decision from throwing it all away.
Here’s hoping Henry is equipped to help her remain on the right path.

Modern Family Kills Off "Major Character" and Fans Are Outraged
Fair warning: this post contains a Modern Family spoiler.
Whether or not it"s a major spoiler is a matter of some debate.
Modern Family"s co-creator promised that, in Season 10, a character of significance would die.
On Wednesday night"s episode, that happened … sort of.
See (and here"s the spoiler), the "major character death" was DeDe, Jack"s ex-wife, the mother of both Mitchell and Claire.
DeDe is not a main character — she"s just related to a bunch of them.
She did not appear in even a guest role in Season 3, Season 5, or Season 6.
Modern Family fans took to Twitter to express their outrage over all of that hype having been built up for nothing.

Jinger Duggar Shares Adorable Pics of Her "Little Family," Melts Fans" Hearts
Hard to believe it"s been three months since Jinger Duggar welcomed her first child.
These days, Jinger and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, are loving their lives as new parents and sharing every moment of that joy on social media.
Perhaps it"s because Jinger and Jeremy live in Laredo, Texas, far away from the rest of the Duggar clan in Arkansas.
Or perhaps it"s because Jinger has harbored a lifelong love of photography.
Whatever the reason, the pics of little Felicity just keep coming, and fans can"t get enough.

Teresa Giudice Asks Fans to Pray for Her as Joe Faces Deportation
The Giudice family is rallying against Joe’s impending deportation and asking their fans for support.
Teresa is still making time to do Real Housewives events — it’s part of her job, after all.
At a recent gathering, she asked fans in the audience to keep her family in their prayers as they fight to stay together.
Teresa Giudice took part in the East Coast Vs. West Coast Real Housewives Brunch at the Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Us Weekly reports that, while she was there, she used her platform to ask for emotional support from the audience.
“Teresa said to please pray for me and my family,” an eyewitness reveals.
The eyewitness adds: “She really hopes Joe is out of jail to see [their daughter] Gia graduate.”
Additionally, “She said she cannot wait to see the light at the end of the tunnel.”
Not everything that Teresa discussed was as upsetting as a family being torn apart.
According to the eyewitness, Teresa “was in really good spirits and made the crowd laugh several times.”
“She explained that Dina [Manzo] and Jacqueline [Laurita] were asked to recommend beautiful women for the show,” the eyewitness reports.
“Dina recommended Teresa,” she shared.
The eyewitness then reveals: “Teresa said she does not know why Caroline [Manzo] did the show.”
Shade.
“And,” the eyewitness shares. “There was a joke about if Teresa did the show, her husband would go to jail.”
That prophecy has been fulfilled, then.
As far as doing the show, “she said she f–ken shouldn’t have.”
“She said it is Jacqueline’s fault for her doing the show,” the eyewitness adds.
“Teresa said she suckered Joe into doing the show,” the report says.
The eyewitness continues: “and now that he is away, he has watched himself and says he was an a–hole.”
Apparently Gia and her mom have been looking at universities, but Teresa is strongly encouraging for her to stay close to home.
“Teresa said she is sick of driving far,” the eyewitness reports. “So is pushing for her to go to Rutgers.”
“She said she drives too much,” the report continues. “From dropping off and picking up kids and going to see Joe, she is sick of driving.”
Teresa also dished on her 17-year-old daughter’s academic performance, which is … a hell of a thing to do.
“She said Gia struggles in school,” the eyewitness says. “And has tutors and she is tired of paying for them.”
The eyewitness reports: “She said she gets good grades, but she is not a genius like her middle daughter, who gets straight As and is the smart one.”
Teresa addressed other topics, beyond comparing the relative academic performances and intelligences of her children.
Specifically, Teresa had some not-so-kind words regarding her feud with Caroline, Jacqueline, and Kathy Wakile.
“She said she is sad she let them into her house, to be betrayed by them,” the eyewtiness reports.
“Fame and money will do that to family,” the eyewitness characterizes of Teresa’s words.
“She said,” the report concludes. “You never go against family.”
Teresa and Joe have four daughters. Gia is 17, Gabriella is 14, Milania is 12, and Audriana is 9.
For them to lose their father to deportation — a horror that is sadly all too common these days — is nothing short of tragic.
While Teresa and Joe aren’t perfect (fraud convictions and table-flipping are only the tip of that iceberg), they love their children.
(Even if Teresa openly gossips about Gia and also doesn’t seem to understand that academic performance isn’t synonymous with intelligence)
Seeing this family put on a brave face while getting torn apart is heartbreaking.

Jinger Duggar Continues to Outrage Fans With Pics of Her Daughter
In general, photos of infants are up there with videos of cats doing funny things on the short list of internet posts that won’t piss anybody off.
But if you’re a member of the Duggar family everything you do is subject to intense scrutiny and harsh criticism — and Jinger Duggar’s latest baby photo is no exception.
That’s little Felicity Duggar enjoying what we assume is her first plane ride.
Jinger captioned the pic, “Little travel buddy.”
Seems inoffensive enough, right?
After all who could have a problem with an infant on an airplane (aside from, ya know, every other passenger on that plane).
Well, believe it or not, Jinger has been accused of trolling her critics with this pic.
If that sounds absurd, that’s because it absolutely is.
But you’re currently on the internet, so you’re well aware that we’re living in absurd times.
Anyway, the outrage has to do with Felicity’s headgear.
Yes, believe it or not Jinger has been accused of cultural appropriation for tying a scarf to her child’s head.
We suppose it’s possible that Jinger came across an old photo of Tupac and decided that would be a good look for her daughter.
But the much more likely explanation is that the scarf is simply an easy way to keep the baby’s head warm.
Not surprisingly, the constant negative attention has begun to take a toll on Jinger.
“She feels like she’s constantly getting mom shamed since she had Felicity. She had no idea it was going to be this bad,” an insider close to Jinger tells Hollywood Life.
“Jinger is doing her best to ignore the negativity and focus on the positive, but it’s hard.”
Scarf-gate began with the above photo of Jinger and Jeremy attending a Chicago Cubs game last month, and remarkably, it shows no signs of letting up.
Fortunately, Jinger isn’t letting the haters win.
She’s continued to post pics of Felicity, and it doesn’t look like she’ll be stopping any time soon.
We say give the girl a break. It’s bad enough she was raised in the freakin’ Duggar family.

Catelynn Lowell: SLAMMED By Fans For "Selfish" and "Unsafe" Behavior

Jana Duggar: Fans Are THRILLED to See Her Find Companionship!
Now that Jana Duggar relationship rumors have been shut down by Laura DeMasie herself, some fans fear that Jana really will never find that special someone.
But a new photo surfaced that has fans excited that Jana may have found real companionship at last.
Don’t worry — we’re not going to keep you in suspense for too long.
While this is unfortunately not a report that 28-year-old Jana is dating … that doesn’t mean that she’ll be alone.
It was actually Jessa who uploaded the photo that you’re about to see.
In it, little Spurgeon Seewald is playing with a beautiful white dog named Willow.
“Up, Willow!” Jessa captions it, quoting Spurgeon. “Now stay. Good dog! You deserve a kiss.”
Fans immediately pointed out how cute both Spurgeon and the dog were.
They also noted Willow’s “painted” nails — they are clearly nail caps.
And then they asked whose dog Willow might be.
Jessa replied that Willow is “Aunt Jana’s dog.”
Fans were immediately overjoyed, and weren’t too subtle about their belief that having a beloved pet will fill a perceived void in Jana’s life.
“So glad that Jana has a dog to love!!” exclaimed one fan.
Another fan gushed: “I love that Jana has a dog!”
Jana is just a few months away from turning 29 — her birthday is in January.
She isn’t just the eldest unmarried Duggar — she’s the only unmarried adult Duggar.
As a Duggar, she is not allowed to date.
Having a dog to love and nurture and cuddle can be great for anyone, but especially for the perpetually single.
Recently, fans had hoped that rumors of Jana Duggar dating Laura DeMasie were true.
The two are close friends and Laura has even traveled with the Duggar family.
Derick Dillard insisted that no lesbian activity was taking place, but fans take Derick’s word with a grain of well-deserved salt.
It’s easy for fans to see a single adult, totally under the control of her hyper-conservative fundamentalist family, be interested in women but unable to come out.
But Laura has shut down those rumors.
Sure, it’s possible that Jana could be gay. Statistically, more than one of the Duggar kids would have to be something other than straight.
(Though of course the Duggar household is the last place where we would ever want an LGBT child to be born)
But whether she’s gay or asexual or just awkward, it’s really not our place to speculate about someone else’s sexual orientation.
That is emphatically her business.
Not every straight person has to get married and start popping out babies, no matter what Jim Bob Duggar says.
The real reason that fans are so concerned isn’t that they think that Jana is at an unusual age to be unwed.
Jana is a Millennial — Millennials have an overall trend of waiting longer to be sure before they decide to get married. That’s normal for non-Duggars.
A lot of fans hate to see Jana still laboring under her parents’ instruction.
She is a grown woman, but fans perceive her to still be the family Cinderella.
Jana fans would all get a little piece of mind if they believed that Jana were living her own life as more than just Jim Bob and Michelle’s obedient helper.
Her beautiful new dog, Willow, sure looks like a step in the right direction.

Kourtney Kardashian to Fat-Shaming Fans: I"ll Eat Whatever I Want!
If you’re a fan of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, you may have noticed that Kim and her sisters spend a surprising amount of time eating.
We don’t mean to say they take in more food than your average person — in fact, they probably consume far fewer calories than most of us.
But the Kards almost certainly avoid carbs the way most of us try to steer clear of IRS audits or people who retweet themselves.
Combine that with the fact that they probably also stick to low-fat diets and it’s easy why they would need to munch on salads all day in order to keep from feeling like they’re wasting away.
Now, you might be thinking that we’ve spent far too much time obsessing over the food intake of a bunch reality stars and Instagram influencers — and you would be right.
But we swear we’re going somewhere with all of this.
Apparently, KUWTK viewers were appalled by the amount of time Kourtney Kardashian spent eating during Sunday night’s episode.
The situation was so bad that Kourt felt the need to defend herself on Twitter.
“I swear I just read 100 comments about me eating on tonight’s episode and some of you are very offended. Let me live,” the mother of three tweeted.
A source who spoke with People magazine claims that the idea of anyone shaming Kourtney for the amount she eats is absurd, as the 39-year-old is a known fitness fanatic.
“She works out and eats in order to try to stay around 100 lbs.,” the insider says, adding that Kourt’s problem is not with losing weight but with keeping it on.
“Yes, she eats very healthy but she wants her body to be healthy and not underweight or malnourished.”
The source adds that Kourtney’s “body type is very different from her sisters’” and it sometimes requires her to spend a large part of her day eating in order to maintain a healthy weight.
Kourtney even went so far as to outline her diet regimen, noting that she begins each day by taking a collagen supplement and always avoids refined sugars.
That’s all well and good, and Kourt deserves credit for taking care of herself, but we would have respected her more if she had just flipped off the haters and reminded everyone that it’s her body and she can do whatever the hell she wants with it.
