Woman Snaps World"s Greatest Selfie While Sister is in Labor
As previously documented, Kim Kardashian has often tried to break the Internet with her influx of selfies.
But Kat Armendariz has nearly succeeded where Kardashian failed… and she didn’t need to show off a single private part in order to do so!
SELFIE! While my sister is about to shove a baby out her vag! wrote Kat as a caption to this amazing selfie.
The 27-year old has gone incredibly viral as the result of a photo she snapped of herself and her sister around 3 a.m. on June 29.
But this wasn’t any ordinary photo of two sisters; it was a photo of Kat standing up in a hospital room and smiling… while 20-year old Kimberly screamed and grimaced in pain just a few feet away.
How come? Because she was deep in the throes of labor!
“My sister and I have a great relationship,” Kat wrote on Facebook of the image, adding:
“When I had my first daughter, Madison, I always recalled hearing her say ‘I’m never having kids, nope, never.’ well… 8 years later she had her moment!
“How could I miss the opportunity to capture this selfie and the humor that we constantly share, right?”
Kat has five kids of her own, so she has literally felt the pain of her sibling in this moment.
She obviously knew things would turn out okay in the end (well, more than okay… there would be a beautiful baby!) and figured such a selfie would be a humorous token to remember the occasion by.
And she’s been proven correct.
“I told her, ‘I am going to take this selfie and you can thank me later,"” Kat explained to Inside Edition. “I warned her that I wanted to take a selfie while she was in pain because I did my time already.”
Added the viral sensation:
“I wanted to capture that moment from the bottom of my heart. It was out of love. I am her sister and a pain in the butt.”
Kimberly had been in labor for 15 hours at Sierra Providence East Medical Center in El Paso at the time this picture was taken.
She alter gave birth to her first child, a healthy baby boy named Zayden.
The picture and the story of these sisters have been shared on Inside Edition, Cosmopolitan, The Huffington Post, The Today Show and Yahoo Celebrities, among other websites, programs and outlets.
The image has also been been viewed over 544,000 times on imgur.
They were interviewed by a local Fox affiliate (below) as part of their 15 Minutes of Fame, while Kat’s photography business has seen a nice boom over the past few days.
Kat says she’s received “a lot of backlash” for the snapshot from trolls online saying they would have never do such a thing to their sister.
BUT…
“That is the relationship we have,” Kimberly herself says. “I was cool with it. I think it was funny!”
Same here.
“I am her sister. I did my duty,” Kat concludes to Inside Edition.
Amen, Kat! All siblings should share this sort of enjoyable bond, shouldn’t they?!?

J.K. Rowling OWNS Piers Morgan in Greatest Subtweet Ever
We’re very sorry to report that Piers Morgan is dead.
Not really, of course.
The British television personality is still breathing.
But he’s just been eviscerated to such an extent by J.K. Rowling that we might as well hold a funeral for the public persona of Piers Morgan.
He has proved himself to be utterly useless.
It all started last Friday when Morgan was a guest on Real Time with Bill Maher last Friday and went to extremes in his passionate defense of Donald Trump and the President’s controversial immigration ban.
Fellow guest Jim Jeffries simply couldn’t handle it any longer, blowing up at Morgan with two simple words:
F-CK OFF!
Actually, he said a bit more at the time.
“You say ‘He hasn’t done this, he hasn’t done that, he’s not going to do all these things,"” the comedian continued, addressing Morgan while imitating him. “Give him a f-cking chance, mate.”
Because, as Jeffries added, “Hitler didn’t kill the Jews on the first day – he worked up to it.”

Rowling was one of the many celebrities who applauded Jeffries and slammed Morgan, leading to an epic feud between the British stars.
After Rowling Tweeted that it was “satisfying” to watch Morgan get cursed off on Real Time, Morgan replied as follows:
“This is why I’ve never read a single word of Harry Potter.”
To which Rowling perfectly fired back:
“Because you had a premonition that one day the author would roar with laughter at seeing you called out for your bullshit on live TV?”
Much to the pleasure of everyone who wanted to see Morgan get his pompous rear end handed to him, the feud went back and forth from there:
“.@piersmorgan If only you’d read Harry Potter, you’d know the downside of sucking up to the biggest bully in school is getting burned alive,” wrote Rowling at one point.
“No bigger bullies right now than the shrieking, hysterical anti-Trump celebrity brigade. You lost, so suck it up Dolores,” replied Morgan.
It was all very entertaining – and we got distracted from it for a few moments after Morgan went after Beyonce – but now it’s become tragic.
We almost feel bad for Morgan, considering the exchange that went down this morning on social media.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, Rowling shared a screenshot of a passage someone wrote about her.
The passage praised the author as someone who “definitely matters” because she encourages “children to read, feel inspired and be creative” and therefore has had a “great impact” on the world at large.
“Just been sent this! Could the writer let me know who he is? I’d love to thank him!” Rowling wrote as a caption.
And then Piers Morgan… that silly, ignorant, oblivious, idiotic Piers Morgan… went ahead and took the bait.
“Priceless #humblebrag BS. Nobody plays the celebrity game more abusively or ruthlessly than you, Ms ‘Intensely Private Billionaire’,” wrote Morgan in response.
But here’s the thing:
MORGAN WROTE THAT! HE’S THE WRITER ROWLING WAS CITING!
Back in 2010, Morgan gushed over Rowling, listing her as the 97th most important British celebrity – but acknowledging in the above passage that she would be higher if played the “celebrity game.”
As you might expect, Twitter users could scarcely contain their glee over this subTweet and Morgan’s perfect reply to it:
Three hours his self-inflicted burn went live, Morgan claimed that he was well aware that he wrote those words about Rowling six-plus years ago.
“Relax, quarter-wit, I knew what it was. Just surprised I put her as high as 97th,” he wrote to a critic.
Yeah. We aren’t buying that. Not for a nanosecond.
If anyone would ever tailor made for House Slytherian, it would be Piers Morgan.

Julian Edelman Catch: Greatest in Super Bowl History?
New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman made a catch for the ages to help propel his team to an epic win in Super Bowl LI last night.
How epic and unlikely was this once-in-a-lifetime grab?
It was … well, a once-in-a-lifetime kind of reception.
Edelman’s catch was the highlight of New England’s 91-yard game-tying drive, part of a record-setting Super Bowl comeback Sunday.
It was every bit amazing as what the New York Giants" David Tyree did nine years earlier to help upset the then-undefeated Patriots.
Whereas Tyree pinned an Eli Manning pass on his own helmet as he crashed to the turf, Edelman did something even more improbable.
He somehow got his hands pinned up against, and under, a Tom Brady pass that had bounced off Atlanta cornerback Robert Alford.
The ball hit Alford"s hands, knee, and shin before nearly falling to the ground, incomplete. Somehow, some way, Edelman reeled it in.
“I knew I caught it,” Edelman said. “I felt like I had it."
"I didn’t know if maybe a piece of the ball was touching. I don’t know what the dang rule is. Nobody knows what the rule is for a catch."
"I was like, ‘I’m pretty sure I caught it."”
Video review upheld that verdict, and gave the Patriots a 23-yard reception and the ball in Atlanta territory with 2:03 left in regulation.
The Patriots, who trailed 28-3 in the third quarter, scored the last five times they had the football, including that drive and in overtime,
After Edelman"s catch, the tying touchdown and James White’s game-winning 2-yard run to cap a 75-yard drive in overtime felt anticlimactic.
Not really, but Julian was the highlight.
Speaking of which, one has to wonder if he celebrated with a different kind of climax afterward!
Edelman, nicknamed "Mini-Tron," was the subject of social media fodder two years ago when he hooked up on Tinder after the Super Bowl.
Not this year … that we know of.

Ellen DeGeneres Receives Greatest Honor Possible: WATCH!
Ready for some political news that will make you feel good about the world for a change?
Good. So are we.
On Tuesday afternoon at the White House, Ellen DeGeneres was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which is considered to be America’s highest civilian honor.
This incredible distinction was placed around the comedian"s neck by President Barack Obama, who also recognized 20 other artists, athletes, scientists and philanthropists at the event.
Obama actually had stop part way through his address because he was “getting kind of choked up," prior to telling Ellen how she is deserving of this medal due to her ability to "laugh about something, rather than at someone.”
He went on to praise DeGeneres’ courage for publicly coming out of the closet nearly two decades ago, placing her career in jeopardy at the time.
Said POTUS upon bestowing the honor:
It’s easy to forget now, when we’ve come so far, where now marriage is equal under the law, just how much courage was required for Ellen to come out on the most public of stages almost 20 years ago.
Just how important it was not just for the LGBT community, but for all us to see somebody so full of kindness and light. Somebody we liked so much, somebody who could be our neighbor or our colleague or our sister challenge our own assumptions.
Remind us that we have more in common than we realize, push our country in the direction of justice. What an incredible burden it was to bear, to risk your career like that.
People don’t do that very often.
