Kat Graham Devours Pot Brownies, Ends Up in Hospital
Kat Graham took quite a few trips as Bonnie Bennett on The Vampire Diaries.
Over the course of eight seasons, the character died multiple times, ended up on The Other Side, visited the show’s version of heaven and got involved in many dangerous storylines.
But those were nothing compared to the actual trip this actress allegedly suffered in Palm Springs last month.
According to TMZ, Graham was visiting Two Bunch Palms Resort & Spa near the aforementioned town when she allegedly began throwing up and passed out on a lawn.
Insiders at the resort tell the typically reliable celebrity gossip website that the star didn’t drink too much alcohol or get victimized by a case of food poisoning.
Instead, she ate a cannabis brownie earlier in the day.
In response, Graham ran out of the resort’s restaurant shortly afterwards, telling those around her that she didn’t feel well and needed to go to the hospital.
She then vomited… passed out… woke up … and was transported to a hospital via ambulance after someone called 911.
TMZ has posted photos of Graham lying on the grass, clearly in an effed up state, both physically and mentally.
The venue’s report says the actress/singer acted extremely paranoid throughout this incident, anxious and seeing things.
No word from Graham or any of her reps yet regarding what happened last month.
We just hope she’s okay. We watched every episode of The Vampire Diaries from the premiere and we always enormous fans of the star.
She announced early last year that she would depart The Vampire Diaries after Season 8, which ended up becoming the show’s swan song.
Its series finale aired last Friday, March 10.
“I learned a lot about what kind of actor I wanted to be,” Graham told Entertainment Weekly of The CW hit, adding:
“Work always comes first as an actor. I think a lot of young girls see actresses and they think of red carpets and they think of Us Weekly and they don’t really think about the breaking down of a script and what that requires and what you would need to pull it off.
“I learned about teamwork and about communication and about standing up for yourself.
“I learned about poise and dignity, and I learned about what it means to be an African-American in television and what that requires in terms of what kind of position you take for yourself and how you define your own reality in a world that is still finding its footing, to say the least.”
She concluded this interview, which was given in February, as follows:
“Overall, I am appreciative of the opportunity that I got to play different levels and different emotions for this character. I’m grateful for the platform I got.”

Mischa Barton on Hospital Visit: I Was Drugged!
Mischa Barton has confirmed that she voluntarily sought professional help after some frightening events at her West Hollywood apartment.
We reported just yesterday that The O.C. alum was taken to hospital for a mental evaluation after some erratic behavior.
Now, the star has released a statement to People, claiming that someone spiked her drink with GHB on her birthday,
“On the evening of the 25th, I went out with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. While having drinks, I realized that something was not right as my behavior was becoming erratic and continued to intensify over the next several hours,” Barton said in the statement.
“I voluntarily went to get professional help, and I was informed by their staff that I had been given GHB. After an overnight stay, I am home and doing well,” the statement continued.
“I would like to extend a big thanks of gratitude to the professionals at Cedars-Sinai for their great care and professionalism. This is a lesson to all young women out there, be aware of your surroundings.”
The behavior was certainly scary. Apparently, she was saying something about her mother being a witch and even went as far as falling backward off her fence and shouting.
“Oh my God, it’s over! I feel it, and it’s angry!”
Considering other people who attended the party were saying the star seemed fine and was having a great time at first, it would make sense that the change in mood could stem from her drink being spiked.
These things do happen a lot, but Mischa does have a point when she states that people need to keep an eye on their surroundings.
The latest news of Mischa attending Cedars-Sinai Medical Center certainly made it seem like the star was suffering from another breakdown.
In 2009, the star was rushed to the medical center and kept in for four days after being placed under California’s 5150 hold.
Thankfully, it seems like the star is much better after being released from hospital.

Mischa Barton Transported to Hospital for Mental Evalution: Find Out Why
Mischa Barton is currently under a doctor’s care and supervision.
According to multiple outlets, police responded on Thursday morning to calls of a disturbance coming from the actress’ West Hollywood apartment.
Insiders tell TMZ that witnesses on the scene spotted the former OC star hanging over her backyard fence and rambling about her mother being a witch.
She was also screaming about the world ending and said something Ziggy Stardust.
At one point, sources say she fell backward off the fence and yelled: “Oh my God, it’s over! I feel it, and it’s angry!”
TMZ writes that Barton was wearing just a dress shirt and a tie during this bizarre incident, although People Magazine quotes a sergeant who confirms Barton was “fully dressed” by the time she agreed she needed professional help.
This same police officer says Barton was speaking in “coherent statements” upon willingly being transported to the hospital for a mental evaluation.
On Wednesday night, Barton celebrated her birthday in Los Angeles with friends.
According to a party attendee, via People, the actress “seemed like she was having a great time” and there was no cause for anyone to be concerned at the time.
This is not the first time Barton has exhibited strange behavior and been placed under a doctor’s care as a result.
In July of 2009, a frightened and manic Barton was also rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Unable to control herself and desperate to leave, she threatened suicide and had to be restrained by staff members.
Barton was eventually placed committed to the psych ward for four days under California’s 5150 hold, which means a patient is admitted against his or her will because he or she poses a threat to his or herself self or others.
“It was a full-on breakdown,” Barton told People of that former incident, speaking in 2013 and adding:
“It was terrifying. Straight out of Girl, Interrupted. Story of my life.”
Barton also explained to People in this 2013 interview that she had just had her wisdom teeth removed and was taking Xanax.
Yes, she was suffering from a great deal of stress and anxiety at the time – partying, drinking, her career flaming out – but “I was never suicidal,” she told the publication for a cover story.
“I was just overworked and depressed. But one slip of the tongue in a heightened moment and you find yourself in that situation.”
Her time in the psych ward “was an eye-opener,” however.
“I was deeply hurt at first, and then I accepted this was time I needed to be away from work, my family and all the pressure. I had been through the wringer.”
Since then, Barton has remained mostly out of the news.
She did gain a poor reputation on Dancing with the Stars, however, and also came under fire for the way she responded to the shooting of Alton Sterling by the police last year.
The actress has always come across as out of touch, sort of operating in her own universe.
Both TMZ and People reached out to members of Barton’s team for a comment after news of this latest incident spread.
They are yet to hear back.

Barbara Tarbuck Dies; General Hospital Star Was 74
Barbara Tarbuck, a veteran actress likely best known for her roles on General Hospital and American Horror Story: Asylum, died Monday, according to The Associated Press.
She was 74 years old.
Tarbuck’s daughter, producer Jennifer Lane Connolly, confirmed this sad piece of news to the AP yesterday.
She said that her talented mother passed away at her Los Angeles residence and suffered from Creutzfeldt-Jakob disorder, a rare, degenerative brain disease.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Tarbuck got her start in the business at the age of nine when she appeared on Storyland, a children’s series on AM radio station WWJ.
From there, she proceeded to land a few impressive television roles, filling up her resume with such beloved shows as:
– Charlie’s Angels.
– Dallas.
– Cagney & Lacey.
– The Golden Girls.
– Mad Men.
– Dexter.
– And General Hospital.
It was on this final, long-running soap opera that she portrayed Jane Jacks over the span of 14 years.
In addition to portraying Mother Superior Claudia on American Horror Story Season 2 (below), Tarbuck stopped by two other Ryan Murphy hits, Nip/Tuck and Glee.
On the big scree, Tarbuck’s movie highlights include performances in Big Trouble (1986), Short Circuit (1986), Curly Sue (1991), The Tie That Binds (1995) and Walking Tall (2004).
She even appeared in a Broadway production of Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach Memoirs in the 1980s and Harold Pinter’s Landscape and Silence.
What an impressive career.
Tarbuck also taught acting at UCLA for years.
She studied acting at Wayne State University and graduated in 1963.
After receiving her master’s degree from the University of Michigan, Tarbuck was the lead actress at Indiana University in its inaugural theater touring company season.
Along with her daughter, Tarbuck is survived by her son-in-law, Samuel Chawinga, and two grandsons: Cianan and Cuinn Chawinga.
We send our condolences to her family, friends and loved ones.
As has been well documented by now, 2016 was a tragic year for celebrity deaths.
With this passing, the veteran actress joins a long list that includes all of the following names:
