Janet Jackson: Divorcing Husband Wissam Al Mana 3 Months After Giving Birth?!
It’s that time of year, friends — spring is in the air.
Well, spring and breakups.
In such short succession, we’ve seen the splits of Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn, Mel B and Stephen Belafonte, Kylie Jenner and Tyga, Javi Marroquin and that girl from Real World that he dated for like a week.
It’s tough out there, and it looks like Janet Jackson’s relationship may be the next to fall apart.
“But hold up,” you may be thinking, “didn’t she just have a baby? And she’s already getting divorced?”
And that’s a solid point: Janet and her husband, Wissam Al Mana, welcomed a son, Eissa, in early January.
Unfortunately, just because they share a tiny little baby doesn’t mean their marriage is solid — in fact, the whole point of this story is that their marriage is reportedly over.
According to a new report from Page Six, the reason for the split is that Janet simply wasn’t happy with how Wissam believed she should behave.
“She thought he had become too controlling during the pregnancy,” a source explained, “and she had already allowed him to dictate her appearance and even the way she performed at concerts.”
Apparently Janet’s husband didn’t feel comfortable with her wearing the revealing outfits she’s known for.
He also took issue with her suggestive dance moves, to the point that “It drove her crazy and she felt she was losing her fan base.”
Another issue was that Wissam was something of a recluse, preferring to stay at home rather than doing basically anything else.
Judging by the fact that Janet basically seemed to go into hiding around the same time she got with him, that’s pretty believable, right?
It seems like her husband wanted her to live by all of his rules without compromising at all for her — they had a small, simple wedding when she wanted a big affair, she moved to London for him, etc.
The source claims that they thought a baby would fix everything — because goodness knows that always works — but the last straw came with Janet’s mother, Katherine Jackson, claimed that her nephew was abusing her.
“She was worried about her mother — and Wissam showed little to no concern,” and “that’s when Janet made her decision that there was no turning back.”
Another report insists that despite any issues they have with each other, “they’re determined to be good parents, even if they’re apart.”
“It’s amicable and Eissa will stay with his mother.”
They will reportedly stay in London. There’s no word yet about whether or not they have a prenup (Wissam is a billionaire, so probably there is) or if there will be a fight over spousal support or custody.

Janet Hubert: Original Aunt Viv Goes OFF Over Fresh Prince of Bel Air Reunion!
Janet Hubert, the actress who played the stylish, stunning, iconic original Aunt Vivian on Will Smith’s hit sitcom Fresh Prince of Bel Air, is officially pissed.
She’s also officially the only person on the planet who isn’t thrilled by the prospect of a Fresh Prince reunion.
A couple of days ago, Alfonso Ribeiro, the actor who played Will’s dorky cousin Carlton, shared this lovely photo on Instagram.
There’s the bulk of the cast of the show — Tatyana Ali (who played little Ashley), Alfonso, Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Will, Daphne Reid (the replacement Aunt Viv), and Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey).
The only person missing is Uncle Phil, the amazing James Avery who tragically passed away in 2013.
Alfonso noted his absence in the caption, writing “Always amazing to spend an afternoon with my Fresh Prince family. Wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete.”
So sweet, right?
Yeah, Janet doesn’t think so.
Janet, who left the show after three seasons due to “creative differences” (more on that in a bit), shared a scathing Facebook post about the reunion, just a really, incredibly nasty commentary on the photo.
“I know the media hoe Alphonso Ribero has posted his so called reunion photo,” she began the since-deleted post. “Folks keep telling me about it.”
“He was always the ass wipe for Will. There will never be a true reunion of the Fresh Prince. I have no interest in seeing any of these people on that kind of level.”
She added that she’s “not offended in the least” by the photo, but “it does however prompt me to take some meetings in Hollywood to pitch my memoir PERFECTION IS NOT A SITCOM MOM, and tell of the behind the scenes story before I leave this earth.”
It makes sense that Janet would lash out like this — she’s had issues with Will Smith and Alfonso Ribeiro for literal decades at this point.
Funnily enough, this isn’t even the first time she’s referred to someone as a “media hoe.” Stacey Dash got those same honors last year.
We may never know exactly what happened between Janet and the rest of the Fresh Prince cast, but we do know that in a 1993 interview, Will said that “no matter what, to her I’m just the Antichrist.”
He said that she wanted the show to be “The Aunt Viv of Bel Air Show,” and that she was mad that he got his own show so early in his career when she’d been acting for years.
In a 2009 stand-up show, Alfonso said that Janet “went nuts,” and that the cast felt like a family but she “ruined that, and she made it very difficult for us to work.”
But Janet has said that her issue with Will is that when it was time to negotiate pay raises for the cast, he refused to stand up for them, reportedly telling her “My deal is my deal and y’all’s deal is y’all’s deal.”
While we can’t know who’s to blame for the issues, it’s clear that Janet is the only one with problems — the rest of the cast clearly still love and respect each other.
What a shame.

Janet Jackson Gives Birth! At Age 50!
First, the bad news for Janet Jackson:
She will not be going on an escapade any time soon.
But now the good news for Janet Jackson:
That’s because she’s a mother for the first time! At the age of 50!
The singer and husband Wissam Al Mana welcomed their first child on Tuesday, January 3, with Jackson’s rep confirming the name and gender of the newborn.
“Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world,” reads the simple rep statement, concluding as follows:
“Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”
Phew. That’s good to know.
It’s a fact that the older a woman is when she gets pregnant, the more likely either she or the baby is to have complications.
Jackson and Al Mana (a Qatari businessman) got married in 2012.
Despite the artist’s advanced age, speculation about her expecting state started in April when Jackson postponed her Unbreakable World Tour so, telling fans in a video posted to Twitter that she and Al Mana needed to focus on their family
“We’re in the second leg of the tour, and there actually has been a sudden change,” she says in the above clip. “I thought it was important that you be the first to know.
“My husband and I are planning our family. So I’m going to have to delay the tour.”
Fast forward all the way to October and Jackson confirmed the happy news.
“We thank God for our blessing,” Janet told People Magazine in an exclusive interview, which included a picture of her and her baby bump.
Janet, of course, is the sister of legendary singer Michael Jackson.
She spends most of her time in London and is notoriously shy with the press.
We would not hold our breath for a tabloid cover baby photo if we were you.
But an insider did tell People late last year that Jackson was psyched to become a first-time parent.
“She is super excited about her pregnancy and is doing extremely well,” the source said this fall. “She actually feels very good about everything.”

Janet Reno Dead: 78-Year-Old Attorney General Dies From Parkinson"s Complications
Janet Reno, the first female Attorney General to serve the United States, is dead following a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Reno was 78 years old.
In a statement provided by Reno’s goddaughter, Gabrielle D’Alemberte, Janet spent her final days at home in Florida with family and friends surrounding her.
Reno served under the Clinton administration in the ’90s for nearly eight years, where she endured much criticism by her bullish actions.
One of the more notable “scandals” was when she supported the raid after a 51-day stand-off on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, where cult head David Koresh and 80-plus followers died.
Janet referred to the demise of the Waco compound “the worst day of her life,” and said, “It was a dangerous situation.”
“The tragedy is that we will never know what was the right thing to do.”
The government reported that the cult committed mass suicide, and set the fire.
It’s hard for dead folks to set fire, though.
Others speculated that it was the government who burned the compound to the ground, as Reno admitted to using teargas to end the 51-day standoff, and that government agents attempted to pick off individuals trying to flee by shooting them.
Reno was also involved in the Monica Lewinsky scandal, Whitewater, and reported Chinese nuclear espionage, among other things.
In 2000, Reno ordered the armed seizure of Elian Gonzáles, which caused major controversy in both Cuba and the United States.
Elian was removed from his Miami home – a town in which he shared with Reno – and ordered back to Havana, where his father lived.
Reno graduated from Cornell University and received a degree in chemistry, before moving onto Harvard Law School, where she received her educational background in politics and law.
After winning the nomination from Clinton – the first woman to lead the United States Justice Department – she said, “It’s an extraordinary experience, and I hope I do the women of America proud.”
However, after the 1993 Waco incident, Reno was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, and her condition began to deteriorate.
The 78th United States Attorney General retired from the government in 2001.
She was succeeded by John Ashcroft.

Bobby Brown Reveals Affairs With Janet Jackson & Madonna!
In his new book, Every Little Step: My Story, Bobby Brown reveals some details about his life that are shocking fans.
His latest revelation? He had a torrid affair with Janet Jackson… and Madonna!
“I fell in love with [Janet] when she was Penny on Good Times,” the singer told Us Weekly. “It goes back that far, you know, my infatuation with her.”
Brown said he secretly dated Jackson in the 80s while she was in a relationship with Rene Elizondo Jr., who she eventually went on to marry.
“She loved me but wasn’t in love with me,” Brown said of why his affair with Jackson ended.
Shockingly, he disclosed that race was also a factor.
Jackson had told him, “My father won’t allow me to be with a black man,” which was the last straw for Brown.
Good old Joe Jackson. Always giving new insights into how his kids got so messed up.
“I exploded and I threw her out,” Brown wrote, noting that they had been lying together post-coitus in a hotel room bed when it happened.
On his encounter with Madonna, Brown described it as “kind of weird, but you know, memorable.”
“We met through mutual friends,” Brown told Us.
“One of her dancers was dating a friend of mine and I guess she told my friend that Madonna wanted to meet me,” he explained.
“We ended up going down to the studio and the next thing I know, there was some strange things happening to me.”
Oh, we bet.
Earlier this week, Brown appeared in an interview with Robin Roberts and broke down crying about the death of his daughter Bobbi Kristina and ex-wife Whitney Houston.
During the exchange, he revealed that he thought Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend Nick Gordon was responsible for the deaths of both women.
In the book, he also claims that Whitney was bisexual and carried on an affair with her assistant Robyn Crawford.
Way to go, Bobby. Exploit your dead ex-wife and daughter for a little extra cash – I guess it’s your prerogative.

Janet Jackson: Pregnant! At 49 Years Old!
It’s official:

Or something to that effect.
About a month after postponing her tour with a mysterious message about family (below), Janet Jackson has confirmed the shocking, albeit awesome, news:
SHE’S PREGNANT!
AT THE AGE OF 49!
On April 6, the multiple-time Grammy Award winner revealed on Facebook that she was under “doctor’s orders” to rest.
She then added, cryptically and interestingly:
“Hey, you guys. On August 31, I launched the Unbreakable World Tour. First, I just want to thank all the fans for coming out to see the show…
“[But] there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour.”
Because it’s rare for a 49-year old woman to become pregnant, some speculated that Janet and husband Wissam Al Mana were planning to adopt.
But then why would she have been ordered to “rest” by her physician?
All signs pointed to a pregnancy and that’s what we can now report as a certainty. How exciting!
The extremely private artist quietly Al Mana in 2012, yet didn’t confirm the nuptials until 2013. The couple started dating in the summer of 2010.
A year prior to their courtship, Jackson admitted in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar that she would like to be a mother someday.
“Sure, I’d adopt. And I think that if I’m really supposed to have kids, it will happen, if that’s God’s plan for me,” she said in 2009.
Looks like God did have a plan for her womb after all, huh?
The veteran singer will celebrate her 50th birthday on May 16.

Janet Jackson Postpones Tour... Due to Pregnancy?
Janet Jackson has come out and announced she is pregnant.
Without actually coming out and directly announcing she"s pregnant.
The 49-year old shared a video message with fans on Twitter today that explains why she needs to postpone the second leg of her ongoing tour.
It’s because she and husband Wissam Al Mana are “planning our family.”
"We"re in the second leg of the tour, and there actually has been a sudden change," Jackson says in the clip below.
"I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family. So I"m going to have to delay the tour."
A sudden change that involves family planning?
What else could Jackson be referring to aside from a pregnancy?
"Please, if you can try and understand it"s important that I do this now," Jackson added. "I have to rest up, doctor"s orders. I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can."
Rest up? Doctor"s orders?!? Sheesh, just say you"re pregnant, Janet!
Earlier this year, Jackson had to come out and shoot down talk that she has cancer.
So we really don"t want to speculate again about her physical status.
But what other conclusion can we draw here?

Elton John SLAMS Janet Jackson: I"d Rather See a Drag Queen!!
He may have been knighted by the queen, but Sir Elton John isn’t above throwing some EPIC shade.
This time, it’s directed at Janet Jackson.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, the “Tiny Dancer” singer complained about music critics who praise artists’ performances when it’s clear they’ve lip-synced.
“You know, f**king music magazines writing a review of Janet Jackson saying, ‘This is the greatest show – four and a half stars,’” he quipped.
“It’s f**king lip-synced!” he added. “Hello! That’s not a show! I’d rather go and see a drag queen. F**k off.”
DOH.
“I say what I feel,” he said.
Obviously.
Elton took Madonna to task for lip syncing in the past, but admits that he may have been out of line.
“I probably went too far with Madonna, and I got very personal and I wrote her – she was very gracious,” he said.
But Janet and Madonna aren’t the only singers Elton has ripped on.
Back in 2013, he referred to Miley Cyrus as “a meltdown waiting to happen,” but later praised her charity work and taste in men, specifically, Liam Hemsworth.
“I’ll take her old boyfriend,” Elton joked. “As the French say, ‘A bit on the side.’ He’s gorgeous.”
Of course, Elton has been married to longtime partner David Furnish, with whom he shares an adopted son.
The flamboyant singer attributes his sharp tongue to having grown up in Britain, which he says “has a very lethal and wicked black sense of humor.”
We kinda want to ask Elton what he really thinks of Kanye West. Oh, can you imagine what kind of Twitter rant that would inspire?

Janet Hubert Slams Stacey Dash as "Media Ho"
Is it totally on between two women the public stopped caring about decades ago.
Janet Hubert – who starred on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air way back in the day and who made news this month when she called out Jada Pinkett-Smith for wanting to boycott the Oscars – spoke on Friday to The Huffington Post about Stacey Dash.
You remember Stacey Dash, right?
She appeared opposite Alicia Silverstone in Clueless… and that"s about it.
She"s since gone on to say really dumb things on Fox News.
Most recently, Dash reacted to the controversy surrounding all-white nominees at the 2016 Academy Awards by saying we should abolish BET and Black History Month because they promote segregation.
Where does Hubert come down on these comments?
"Somebody needs to slap the little bit of black she got on her off of her, okay?" Hubert says in the following video.
"Because girlfriend has worked on BET more than most actresses have. I think she"s just saying this kind of bull because she wants sensationalism."
It is true that Dash appeared on The Game awhile back.
And now?
"She"s working for Fox, and she needs a job, and she"s making a check, and she"s bringing controversy to herself. Stacey is a bit of a media ho," Hubert declared.
In conclusion, this washed-up actress has the following to say about her fellow washed-up actress:
"I don"t feel anything for Stacey because she absolutely puts the struggle way back, way back. It"s just rude and wrong."
"If we didn"t have BET, if we didn"t have those kinds of awards, we"d have nothing. We"d have nothing to honor those wonderful performances…
"And as far as Black History Month is concerned, I don"t even need to touch that because it"s so stupid."

Janet Jackson Quashes Rumors: "I Do Not Have Cancer"
After announcing on Christmas Eve that she would be postponing her Unbreakable tour due to surgery, Janet Jackson had fans in a tizzy wondering WHAT’S WRONG WITH JANET???
We didn’t hear boo from the singer since then, but earlier this week the cancer rumors started flying, claiming that Jackson had a potentially cancerous tumor on her vocal cord.
But now Miss Jackson herself is setting the record straight.
In an Instagram post, she didn’t mince words:
“Remember…believe it when you hear it from my lips. The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I’m recovering.”
On Twitter, she posted a video with lyrics to “The Great Forever,” one of the songs on her new album:
“Not too pleased with what you’re diggin’
I’m just busy livin’ my life
Sources say but where you gettin’ it
Don’t create the truth you like.”
Seems Jackson isn’t too pleased with the rumor mill.
In a tweet released just two hours prior, her team stated that it had been Jackson’s wish not to make any further comments about her health, but she decided to address it due to “great concern from around the world.”
So, we still don’t really know what’s going on with Janet, but we can all rest assured that it’s not the big C.
