Ben Affleck & Lindsay Shookus: Engaged and Expecting a Child?!?!

Pretty much from the time they started dating, rumors of Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus getting married have been circulating non-stop.

And in fairness, they really did seem to move rather quickly from the very beginning.

Of course, there’s still the minor obstacle of the fact that Ben is technically still married to Jennifer Garner, but it seems Affleck and Shookus won’t allow that pesky little detail to stand in their way.

According to Radar Online, Ben and Lindsay are currently in the process of planning a Hawaiian wedding.

“They want to do it before the end of summer when Lindsay goes back to work on SNL,” an insider told Radar. “They love Hawaii and had a great time there in April when Ben was filming Triple Frontier.”

Is it just us, or does a Ben Affleck movie set in Hawaii with the title of Triple Frontier sound like something from an SNL sketch?

But we digress.

“Ben’s talking luau, leis and Hawaiian shirts,” the source added.

“He’s already asked Jen to watch the kids while he’s away,” says the source.

Wow, if that’s not the ultimate act of passive aggression.

Hey, Jen do you think you could watch the kids during the one weekend I’m supposed to have them this summer? Lindsay and I have plans. I already bought the rings and everything.

Anyway, the most interesting part of all this is the fact that Ben and Lindsay are reportedly expecting a child together.

“People suspect the sense of urgency is because Lindsay’s pregnant,” the insider claims.

“And nothing hides a bump better than a muumuu dress.”

Well, if the speculation is based on nothing other than the fact that these two seem to be in a hurry and some traditional Hawaiian attire is baggy, then we’re gonna have to go ahead and call BS.

But who knows?

Maybe Lindsay really is pregnant with Ben’s baby, as the tabloids have been claiming for most of the past year.

If so, our sincere congrats go out to a couple that most folks didn’t give much of a chance to.

Just keep Ben away from those mai-tais at the wedding!

Lindsay Lohan: I"m Normal and Nice Now! I Swear!

Once America’s favorite troubled teen, treated with scorn and sexism, Lindsay Lohan is now our greatest export and is in a better place than ever before.

So teases the sub-headline of a New York Times profile of Lohan, who was actually once a very famous singer and actress.

It’s true!

That was eons ago, of course, as Lohan has been known far more for many years as someone who drives drunks; writes poems to ISIS; and yearns for Mean Girls 2 to get made so she can be hired again.

In this New York Times profile, however, Lohan swears she’s a new and improved person.

She’s living far away from the spotlight in Dubai, she explains, and loving every milisecond of it.

“I’m a normal, nice person. A good person. I don’t have any bad intentions. And my past has to stay in the past,” Lohan says, adding for emphasis:

“Like, people have to just let go of it and stop bringing it up because it’s not – it’s gone. It’s dead. And that’s the most important thing to me.”

It certainly is accurate that Lohan hasn’t gotten into trouble in a very long time.

She hasn’t been relevant, either.

She could have been arrested six times in March and would anyone really have noticed?

But Lindsay says this hasn’t been the case at all, and that she’s content just sitting back and overseeing the Lohan Beach House on Mykonos.

“There’s a business side to my life now,” she tells the Times, proving as much by demanding extra money for the photo shoot that accompanied this article.

The actress-turned-entrepreneur says Dubai is “the safest place” for her.

It actually doesn’t allow paparazzi-type folks to snap random pictures, so she likely has a point there.

“It’s less demanding. America is always like, ‘Go go go go go!’ I don’t have to turn on the news and see about the Kardashians,” Lohan adds, taking a swipe at a frequent foe and adding:

“I don’t have to see anything anymore. I choose what I want to see and how I want to live.”

Apparently Tiffany Trump will be visiting Lohan in Greece next month, which led to a question about her Presidential father and Lindsay’s take on politics.

“Here’s the thing: very simple with politics,” she said. “He’s the president. No matter what anyone says, he’s still the president. I have no feeling. I have no emotion.”

Okay, fine.

But what about her mother and father, both of whom she’s feuded with hard in the past?

“I’m not in control of my family,” she says. “I’m only in control of myself. We’re all friends. My mom and dad are friends, everyone’s good.”

About two years ago, Lohan was the victim of domestic violence, claiming at the time that boyfriend Egor Tarabasov strangled her and tried to kill her.

From that point on, she says, Lohan has vowed to take back control of her life.

“I think success is the best revenge – and silence, as a presence,” she explains, concluding of the aforementioned awful incident:

“It happened, here in Mykonos, on the beach. And that was the moment where I switched and I was like, ‘I’m going to take control of my life completely, and fire everyone and just rehire them when I’m ready.’

“And that’s why I’m here today, because it was on that beach where I got hit. I said, ‘You know what? If there’s anything I can do, I’m going to get that beach.

“It’s going to be my beach.”

Ben Affleck & Lindsay Shookus: Planning a Wedding Even Though He"s Still Married?!

It’s been almost a year since the world first learned that Ben Affleck and Lindsey Shookus are dating, and these days, the couple is reportedly ready to take the next step together.

Unfortunately, there are some sizable barriers blocking their path.

According to a new report from Entertainment Tonight Lindsey is seeking a commitment from Ben, who seems hesitant to pop the question.

But to his credit, there’s a very good reason for that:

“Lindsay and Ben are very much in love,” a source tells the outlet.

“During Ben and Jennifer [Garner’s] split, Lindsay truly felt villainized. Every day she spent with Ben out in the world for people to see felt like another day of public scrutiny, but her love for Ben was worth it,” the insider adds. 

“They both learned to stick by each other during those painful months.”

See, therein lies the issue.

The source makes it sound like Affleck and Garner’s split was an ugly chapter in their lives that’s now over and done with.

But the fact is Ben and Jen still aren’t divorced.

Yes, despite the fact Affleck and Garner have been separated for three years, they’re still legally married.

We’re sure that’s primarily because of legal and financial entanglements, but still …

Lindsay probably isn’t too thrilled about the situation.

The insider adds that Ben and Lindsay are planning to spend their lives together, but have thus far avoided any public discussion of marriage:

“Ben has worked incredibly hard on his sobriety and Lindsay has been his rock. He will be forever grateful for all her love and support,” says the source.

“They are both constantly being asked if they are planning to tie the knot, but for now they taking it one day at a time.”

It’s good that he’s taking his recovery seriously, but we can’t help but think Ben’s leaning pretty hard on that “but, babe, my sobriety” excuse:

“Ben knows he loves Lindsay, but he wants to take things slow for the sake of his sobriety. He’s actually been told to take it slow and he’s heeding that advice,” the insider claims.

“Ben isn’t ready to propose and has no plans to get engaged anytime soon, but Lindsay feels he is worth the wait.”

Jennifer Garner & Lindsay Shookus to Ben Affleck: Stop Being a Douche!

It’s been almost a year since the world first learned that Ben Affleck is dating Lindsay Shookus, and though the couple has kept their relationship as low-key as possible, in that time, fans and the press have jumped to the same conclusion about the couple’s dynamic.

Whether it’s fair or not, the picture that’s emerged is one of a self-indulgent manchild meeting his ideal enabler.

This might have something to do with the fact that Ben and Lindsay were spotted drinking together in her hometown shortly after they started dating.

Normally, that wouldn’t be a big deal, but Affleck has been in and out of rehab several times in the past few years, and his friends and family were understandably concerned that he seemed to be throwing caution to the wind.

As for Garner, she’s said to be unconcerned about the relationship and has reportedly informed Shookus that Ben’s drinking is her problem now.

So Lindsay and Jen obviously don’t quite get along, but it seems they’re willing to join forces when the stakes are high enough.

Such as when Ben’s notorious temper threatens to have a negative impact on the lives of his three young children.

Recently, Ben and his kids were hounded by some paparazzi during their weekly visit to their local church.

Ben was less than pleased, and he made his feelings know with an irate tweet:

“Still not sure what is urgently newsworthy about a middle-aged man taking his kids to church,” Affleck wrote.

According to Radar Online, both Jen and Lindsay agreed that his response would only serve to make the situation worse.

And apparently, they joined forces to make Ben see their error of his ways.

After reportedly consulting with Jen, Lindsay addressed the issue with Ben:

“Lindsay told him he doesn’t want to come off negatively like other celebrities when they spout off on their social media,” a source tells Radar.

“It doesn’t make him look good. They argued about it.”

Eventually, Ben came around to Jen and Lindsay’s way of thinking.

“He’s super remorseful and wants to make it right,” says the insider.

So there you have it.

All Ben needs to do to live a drama-free life is to consult with both his girlfriend and his ex before he makes any type of decision.

Rachel Lindsay: Bachelor Fans Are Too Racist to Have Another Black Bachelorette

Rachel Lindsay was The Bachelorette‘s first black leading lady. A lot of people were troubled that it took until Season 13 for that to happen.

Now, Rachel is engaged, but she’s not optimistic about the chances of seeing another black Bachelorette in the near future.

Why? Because, well, the viewers are racist.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Rachel Lindsay shares her doubts about the next black Bachelorette lead.

“I don’t think Bachelor Nation is ready for the diversity of a lead … an African American lead.”

That is … so heartbreaking to hear.

Rachel does clarify that she thinks that there will be leads of color in the future, but she says:

“I think there’ll be an [African American] man before there’ll be another woman.”

That is, unfortunately, what happens in a culture where white (among other things) is treated as “default.”

Her fiancee, Bryan Abasolo, adds:

“I think there definitely needs to be more diversity on the show.”

That is something that a number of fans have called four.

The surplus of Laurens on the last season of The Bachelor really illustrated how homogenous the casts can be.

Bryan says: “Whether America is ready for it, that’s yet to be seen.”

Rachel interjects, saying that she has more concerns about the franchise’s fanbase than she does about overall American culture.

“It’s not America; it’s Bachelor Nation.”

Rachel explains that, even if Arie’s brutal breakup had never happened, whoever would have been the lead in Becca Kufrin’s stead would not have been black.

“I don’t think that there would have been two black Bachelorettes in a row.”

And she can point to exactly why.

“I just don’t think the nation … I mean look at the ratings from the season.”

Her season’s ratings, she says, were “significantly lower than Jojo’s.”

That is heartbreaking.

Rachel says that she didn’t see racist trolling against her on social media … which is totally believable, if she has never once checked her mentions from people she doesn’t already follow.

Bryan admits that he “definitely saw it.”

“There was a lot of backlash in terms of race for her, and I think she handled herself with such grace and elegance and pride.”

Remember, there was even a racist guy on her season — though not for long.

“I think she represented the African American community beautifully.”

That she did.

Racial representation is not and has never been a strong suit of The Bachelor.

Are so many members of the Bachelor Nation truly so very racist that they just won’t tune in to watch a black woman find love?

We’d love to believe that there’s another culprit.

But Rachel brings up a great point. And something has to change.

For that matter, many in the Bachelor Nation have wanted diversity in other ways. A Bachelor or Bachelorette. A trans Bachelor or Bachelorette.

And let’s not forget that racial diversity isn’t limited to the African American community.

Ben Affleck & Lindsay Shookus: Back Together After Low-Key Split?!

It’s been a rough few weeks for Ben Affleck, aka Batfleck, aka Beantown Benny, aka He of the Horrendous the Back Tatt That Looks Like Something From A Blacklight Poster in a Head Shop.

For one thing, the whole world has been roasting Affleck’s tattoo for the very good reason that it’s the ugliest sight anyone has laid eyes on since that time Trump went golfing in white shorts.

But there’s more here than just that just the hilarity that is the #PhoenixFail.

You see, Ben has been in Sad Affleck mode in a big way lately.

His melancholia has reached the point that even the tortoise shell-framed Vassar grads at The New Yorker were forced to take a break from writing captions for sketches of animals in therapists’ offices in order to pen a typically high-minded assessment of Ben’s mental state.

Yes, even the actor’s number one confidante Matt Damon has enjoyed ragging on Affleck in recent weeks, a development that’s almost certainly led Ben to text his friend something along the lines of “I don’t like them apples at all.”

Needless to say, these are trying times in the House of Affleck.

Fortunately, Ben has been able to find solace in the fact that he’s still rich and famous and thus, will always find someone willing to overlook his giant mythological back bird. 

Ben has been dating Lindsay Shookus for the better part of the past year, but it seems there was a brief hiatus in the relationship that began around the same time as Ben’s latest round of troubles.

However, according to People magazine, Affleck and Shookus are 100 percent back on these days.

The couple was spotted hanging out in Hawaii earlier this week, and witnesses say they looked very coupled-up.

They may have even engaged in a bit of canoodling.

Sources tell People that Ben and Lindsay are “not rushing anything,” but they “enjoy each others company” and “are in a committed relationship.”

Of course, the question on the mind of many Ben-watchers is – are Affleck and Shookus still drinking together?

Yes, even after Ben’s multiple stints in rehab, he and Lindsay were spotted hitting the sauce together during their travels.

Fortunately, it sounds as though Ben has put the plug in the jug for good these days, and he and Lindsay reportedly drank nothing stronger than coconut water during their time on the big island:

“He has been very on top of his health and responsible,” added the source.

“He wants to be sober and healthy.”

Sounds like Ben might finally be turning things around!

If only there were some sort of mythical creature whose story might provide a suitable analogy for Affleck’s current state of rebirth.

Rachel Lindsay: Lauren Burnham Will Win The Bachelor! Show"s Over!

The Bachelor’s coveted hometown dates begin tonight, with Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s final four women introducing them to their families.

According to one woman who’s been on both sides of this Bachelor milestone, however, three of them might as well not even bother …

… because Arie’s made up his mind. Show’s over. Go home. Turn out the lights, move along, nothing more to see here folks.

And Rachel Lindsay, last year’s star of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, isn’t basing this on The Bachelor spoilers, either.

In Lindsay’s view, Lauren Burnham wrapped this thing up on last week’s episode, before the hometown dates even began.

The crazy part, Rachel writes, is not that Arie has an established favorite at this point, but that it’s her, in spite of red flags.

Many red flags. Like very red, and a lot of flags.

Rachel believes this is a major cause for alarm:

“There are a lot of new things that Arie and Lauren B. are experiencing together but one thing remains constant: the lack of communication.”

“This is surprising because [the] lovebirds are on this Italian adventure exploring a different country and one another for the first time.”

“Still, they have nothing to talk about.”

“Those are not red, white and green flags waving in the distance, those are red ones. Is it just me or is this not alarming?” she continues.

“Arie is again concerned about his relationship with Lauren B., as he should be. I, too, am worried that there is no depth in this relationship.”

Lindsay notes that Arie himself even admits that “he is trying so hard … harder than in any other relationship” to make it work.

Why, though? Is that part of the appeal of Lauren Burnham? “I wonder: is this love, infatuation, or just the hard-to-get challenge of it all?”

Even when she did open up, “she only says she is falling in love with her words because there is absolutely no emotion in her face.”

His response? “Arie gets up and walks away.”

“We never get the full answer of why he does this, but my best guess is that he is overcome with so much emotion that she is falling for him.”

What the heck is going on with these two!?

Rachel’s theory on what happened?

“I personally think he took a moment to run off, jump for joy, click his heels together in the air, and scream with delight into the night.”

“He comes back to her and says all of the following without hesitation: ‘I want it so bad for us.’ He is falling ‘deeply’ in love with her.”

“Ummmm, excuse me for two seconds. What did Arie just say? All further dates will be painful and pale in comparison to this one.”

“That’s it! Show is over … there is nothing more to see here. He literally just told Lauren she is the one and everyone else is a placeholder.”

Yup, that was it, says Rachel: “Arie is on Cloud 9 with Lauren B. while the other women are looking up at them from their hotel rooms.”

“I would be so upset if I were the other girls watching this at home. In hindsight, it is too bad they all couldn’t have the foresight Jacqueline did.”

Crazily, Lindsay may be right … but:

If you believe The Bachelor spoilers, Arie’s final rose winner and the person he is with right now are not the same person.

Khloe Kardashian to Kim: Way to Shade Lindsay Lohan, Girl!

Motherhood is bringing out the best in Kim Kardashian.

At least according to her sister.

In a couple of Tweets on Tuesday morning, Khloe Kardashian gleefully heaped praise on her ex-sex tape star of a sibling, giving Kim props for her recent run of shade-throwing on social media.

“I am squealing like a little pig looking at all of Kimberly’s Instagram’s from the day! Oh my God is she not sooooooo on fire right now?” asked Khloe of her followers, adding:

“FEELING THE FANTASY.”

She later added:

“Between her pictures and her clap backs…. I’m just living for it all. Confidence looks great on you Keeks.”

To what, exactly, is Khloe referring?

Kim has been filling up her Instagram page over the past several days with photos of herself in underwear, topless or straight up naked.

She also made headlines on Monday night for hurling an insult in the direction of Lindsay Lohan.

After the long-time trainwreck said she was “confused” by Kim’s new braided hairstyle, Kim shot back that she’s confused by Lohan’s accent.

It’s a tremendous feud that we can only hope – nay, pray!!! – is just getting started.

“Hi, can I get zero f-cks please, thanks,” wrote Kardashian as a caption to this image.

Kim and husband Kanye West, of course, became parents to a little girl named Chicago earlier this month.

The baby was birthed by a surrogate due to a health complication for Kardashian that makes it dangerous for her to get pregnant again.

Is Kim up late at night feeding this tiny human being? Does that explain why she’s surfing the Internet and picking fights left and right?

If you’ll recall, just over a week ago, Kardashian also shaded Lamar Odom over his penchant for banging hookers.

She really is on fire these days.

Becoming a mother for the third time doesn’t explain why Kardashian has decided to wear her hair in the style of dreadlocks, which is a choice that has stirred up quite the online controversy.

Many critics are taking Kim to task for appropriating African-American culture once again, especially since she gave white actress Bo Derek credit for inventing the above look.

One Instagram user wrote that she expects Kardashian to issue an apology over the coming days, saying she’s very sorry if anyone is offended by this hairdo.

We’re not so sure, however.

Kim Kardashian vs. Lindsay Lohan: Best Feud of All-Time Alert!

It is totally, completely and awesomely on between Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan.

The former sex tape star and the ongoing trainwreck exchanged barbs online yesterday, getting the Internet excited for one of the most anticipated feud of the modern era.

It all started after Kardashian went public with her new hairstyle.

She shared a video on Snapchat and then numerous photos on Instagram of herself in dreadlocks, earning the ire of those who accused Kim of cultural appropriation.

Among those unsure about the fresh look is celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton, who shared a screen capture of Kim on his social media account.

He then asked users for comments.

And one of the people who made her opinion known on the controversial ‘do was Lohan.

“I am confused,” Lindsay wrote simply of the braids, to which Kardashian replied:

“@linsdaylohan you know what’s confusing…..your sudden foreign accent.”

Whoa there! Amazing shot fired!!!!!

Lohan has sort of gone full Madonna in recent years, living abroad and dropping some kind of weird accent now and then.

Of everything she has ever said and done, the accent scarcely scratches the surface of Most Confusing Lindsay Lohan Things, but whatever.

We are TOTALLY here for this rivalry.

After being questioned about her unusual, sudden accent back in the fall of 2016, Lohan said the following to The Daily Mail:

“It’s a mixture of most of the languages I can understand or am trying to learn.

“I’ve been learning different languages since I was a child. I’m fluent in English and French, can understand Russian and am learning Turkish, Italian and Arabic.”

During a recent appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, however, Lohan sounded American.

There was no accent at all, just talk about designing her own island.

Kardashian, meanwhile, has been very frisky online of late.

Perhaps she has a lot of time to surf these days, as she stays up late and isn’t sleeping very much while she feeds her third child.

Just a few days ago, for example, she slammed the heck out of Lamar Odom … and she’s back to constantly posing in seductive ways on Instagram.

It’s also clear that we aren’t the only people beyond psyched to see where Kim and Lindsay take their disdain for each other next.

“I AM LIVING FOR THIS @KimKardashian YASSSS get us the answers we deserve,” one fan wrote in response to the rivalry, while another added:

Lindsay Lohan commented ‘I’m confused’ under a photo of Kim Kardashian’s braids and she replied with this comment. I am DECEASED.

We’re still very much alive.

Ben Affleck & Lindsay Shookus: Already MARRIED?!

It’s been less than a year since we first learned that Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus are dating, but the couple has been moving at warp speed in recent months.

Affleck checked into rehab for the fourth time in December, and sources say he went straight from treatment to an apartment in New York that he now shares with Shookus.

And it seems moving in together isn’t the only major step forward the couple has taken in 2018.

Some insiders close to Ben and Lindsay say wedding bells are in the near future for the Oscar winner and the SNL producer.

Meanwhile, others claim they’ve already gotten hitched and are simply waiting for the right time to make the announcement.

Witnesses say Lindsay has been sporting some new bling on her left hand in recent weeks, but the jury’s still out as to whether it’s an engagement ring or a wedding band.

Whatever the case, it seems there’s no denying that Ben and Lindsay are head over heels for one another.

“He’s fallen hard,” an insider tells Life & Style.

“It’s no surprise that they’re now taking their relationship to the next level.”

There are conflicting accounts as to whether or not the knot has already been tied, but there’s no doubt these two are in it for the long haul.

“They both want to spend the rest of their lives together.”

“They can’t bear to be apart and spend every free moment they have together,”

One insider says the only thing holding the couple back is the fact that Ben’s divorce from Jennifer Garner is not yet finalized.

“It hasn’t been a straightforward procedure,” explains the source.

“They’ve spent months behind closed doors working out how to divide assets, finances and custody of their children.”

Yes, if there’s a downside to possessing tens of millions in assets (big if), it’s that having so much stuff makes a very complicated divorce.

“They are getting close to finalizing things. Once their divorces are both out of the way, Ben plans to walk down the aisle with Lindsay,” says one insider.

So it sounds like despite claims to the contrary, Ben and Lindsay are not yet married.

But it also sounds like they’ll be taking the plunge as soon as legally possible.

Lindsay Lohan Says She"s Designing Her Own Island, Appears to Be Serious

Lindsay Lohan may not have a successful movie career at the moment.

Or television career.

Or singing career.

Or modeling career.

Heck, you may not have even seen the words “Lindsay Lohan” and “career” or “success” in the same sentence since approximately 2009.

But the former actress and constant lightening rod for trouble sat down with Wendy Williams on Friday and said she’s actually very busy.

With what, you may be wondering? Well….

“I’m discussing designing my own island in Dubai at the World Islands,” Lohan said with a straight face, adding that it will be called “Lohan Island” and then joking:

“I’m out Trump-ing Trump with the name Lohan.”

Oh, God.

And she’s going to win, isn’t she?

Why did she get into so much trouble back in the day?

I think everybody has their own path in life. We all go through ups and downs in life.

Being in public, a lot of pressure was on a lot. I didn’t know how to have a private life because I was too young, running around too much and surrounding myself with people I probably shouldn’t have been around, there for the lifestyle.

I wouldn’t blame anyone for anything in my life.

Does she blame her parents for any of her issues?

In life, parents have their things together and sometimes the children are immersed in it and you really have to step back and let your parents do what they do and figure everything out for themselves.

We all have a great relationship now, so it’s nice,” she added, “it’s much simpler that way.

Is she a lesbian?

No, I like men.

Is she dating right now?

I don’t have a man. I don’t want to date anyone right now. I’m in work mode, I like it. I have great girlfriends, people around me, my family. Relationships, I’ve had enough of them.

I don’t think, especially in LA you’re always around other actors, and I like being OK with me. When it happens, it’ll happen.

Aside from being “stalker-ish” when it comes to making a new Mean Girls, what else is she doing?

I really threw myself into working with a lot of children and refugees overseas. I’m going back to Turkey to see them soon.

I feel like there’s a lot of love I have to give to children that don’t have anyone and that have lost their parents and don’t have a lot of love and hope in their life.

What’s the biggest misconception about her?

It is frustrating to me when people always say those partying days and stuff. I was never really a partier. Just because I was seen out at clubs, made some mistakes, they didn’t take the best shots of me.

I don’t like to bring up and rehash the past.

How does she feel about the future?

Whenever people bring up past things I experiences and gone through, like jail, working at the morgue, which is actually really traumatizing stuff.

But then it distracts from actually, maybe meeting with people to do Batgirl, doing a Mean Girls 2,’it really distracts people and they only think about the negative.

It sounds like Lohan has a solid head on her shoulders these days.

That may very well change by the time you read this.

But we really do wish the best to Lohan.

Ben Affleck: Did He Leave Rehab For Christmas? Is He Moving In With Lindsay Shookus?

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Ben Affleck had checked back into rehab, marking his third stint in an addiction treatment facility in 2017.

The decision to seek medical assistance reportedly came after a relapse that left friends and family concerned for the actor’s safety.

Ben has spoken openly about his struggles with alcoholism over the years, but news of his latest round of treatment became public knowledge only after the Oscar winner was spotted attending a group therapy session at a Passages facility in Malibu.

Reported reasons for the secrecy vary, but many believe Affleck has decided to eschew the traditional 12-step method of treatment in favor of Passages’ more personalized–and controversial–approach.

Given the timing of his treatment, fans wondered if Affleck would be able to spend time with his three children during the holiday season.

Many rehab centers strictly forbid patients from coming and going, but it seems Passages takes a more relaxed approach, as Page Six is reporting that Ben was indeed released from the facility to spend Christmas with his kids.

The outlet claims that Ben went straight from rehab to a home owned by his estranged wife, Jennifer Garner.

There, he celebrated Christmas with Garner and his three children, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5.

Ben apparently remained out of treatment for at least two days.

On Tuesday, he was spotted enjoying dinner with girlfriend Lindsay Shookus in Malibu.

Affleck reportedly remained sober throughout the meal.

Sources say Affleck and Shookus are still going strong and are currently planning a major step forward together as a couple.

According to Page Six, Affleck and Shookus, a producer on SNL, recently purchased an apartment together in 15 Central Park West, one of Manhattan’s most exclusive buildings.

Affleck will reportedly join Shookus in the new digs once he completes treatment.

A Boston native, Ben’s no stranger to the East Coast, but he’s spent most of his adult life living in Southern California.

The return east represents a major change for Ben, and while his relationship with Shookus has reportedly had a positive effect on his mental health, some are concerned that the 45-year-old is “pulling a geographic” and attempting to flee from his addiction.

Affleck’s three children will reportedly remain in the Los Angeles area, where Ben will continue to own a home and visit frequently.

Rachel Lindsay & Bryan Abasolo: Preparing to Elope?!

We all make mistakes. Most of us don’t have our mistakes broadcast on international television. But the whole world saw Rachel Lindsay choose Bryan Abasolo.

They’re still together though, and Rachel’s talking about wedding plans.

But … it sounds like she might just elope.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Rachel Lindsay gushed about her engagement to Bryan Abasolo and how eager she is to tie the knot.

“I’m ready to be married.”

Well, it would have been weird for her to go on The Bachelor and then star on The Bachelorette otherwise.

“I keep saying winter wedding, which more so with the process of everything is what it’s looking like, but honestly I could elope with Bryan tomorrow.”

A winter wedding sounds lovely, right?

Elopement sounds … well, it probably sounds a lot easier. And apparently Rachel’s mother agrees.

“And it’s so funny because my mom texted me the other day and she goes, ‘Secretly I would love for you to just elope.’”

It’s hard to tell if her mother really wants that or if she’s just fatigued at the idea of this huge, expensive wedding.

“The family loves him,” Rachel claims.

That sounds a little different from what we saw on Hometown Dates, but … okay.

“I want good music, good vibes, a lot of family and friends around, and I just want it to be a big reunion, that I know.”

That sounds like what most people want for their weddings.

“Someone said the other day, ‘What about having the wedding in Colombia?’ and actually that’s a thought that we’re thinking about right now.”

What would be the point of a winter wedding if it’s in Columbia? But she’s a Texas girl, and perhaps doesn’t enjoy the cold.

“That’s the first time I’ve said that out loud!”

Usually, you want your fiance or at least your wedding planner to be the person you tell, not Carly from Us Weekly. No offense to Carly.

Rachel Lindsay talks about her friends that she made within the Bachelor Nation.

“They’re with me everywhere.”

Awww, that’s sweet to imagine.

“I’m stuck with them for life.”

That … well, we’re sure that she’s joking.

She goes on to gush about what it’s like to be engaged to Bryan Abasolo.

“Bryan’s romantic every day.”

He promised her a fairytale romance, and it sounds like he’s delivering.

“He’s always giving me massages, he’s always catering to my needs to the point where I’m like, ‘Hold on. Let me do something for you.’”

That sounds like it might be bordering on TMI, but it also sounds very pleasant.

“Bryan’s just very sweet. Whenever I need something he’s very attentive to it, so I would say he’s romantic every single day.”

She also talks about their disagreements when it comes to children:

“I want four kids. Bryan wants three, but he also says it depends on how many we can afford.”

We never imagined that we’d say this, but … we’re team Bryan Abasolo.

“See, this is what I mean about Bryan, he’s so practical. I’m just like, ‘Give me all the babies. If we can’t have them, we’re adopting.’ So we’ll see.”

Let’s see if she still wants four after a few months of infant-induced sleep deprivation.

Rachel talks about some more immediate plans that she and Bryan have.

“We’re spending Christmas with his family.”

Bryan Abasolo has gushed in the past about how much his grandma loves Rachel Lindsay.

“We’re gonna be two weeks in Miami. He spent Thanksgiving with my family, so it’s all been so seamless in how it’s all come together.”

Well, if you like wasting part of winter in warm climates where the weather takes “winter” as a mere suggestion, Miami sounds lovely.

Just not as lovely as Peter Kraus.
