Ariana Grande Hangs With North West Backstage: See the Adorable Pics!
North West is only three years old, but she’s already being invited to Hollywood’s most exclusive parties and enjoying meet-and-greets with her favorite A-listers.
But for active as Kim Kardashian is on social media, she and Kanye West have done a decent job of allowing their kids to maintain relatively low profiles, and new photos of North and Saint are something of an event for diehard Kardashi-fans.
So Kim obsessives reacted with unchecked glee last night when the mother of two posted pics of her North hanging out backstage with her favorite singer:
Yes, that’s lil Norrie with Ariana Grande.
It seems mother and daughter were invited backstage prior to Ari’s performance at The Forum in Inglewood, California Friday night.
Grande is a favorite of North’s, who apparently prefers catchy pop to her father’s experimental, introspective hip hop.
Who would’ve thought?
Anyway, it seems Ariana was more than happy to oblige her biggest little fan with a backstage photo sesh, even posting some pice to her own Snapchat page:
Ariana’s been owning it lately and staking her claim as one of the biggest names in music.
Of course, with massive fame comes massive scrutiny of one’s personal life, and Ari has proven no exception to that rule.
It started innocently enough, with fans fawning over the singer’s relationship with Mac Miller.
Things took a turn for the decidedly weird last week, however, when a rumor that Ariana is pregnant began to spread like wildfire across social media.
Thankfully, thus far, it seems no one has taken these pics with North as a sign that Ari’s nurturing instincts are kicking in, but we’re sure that’ll come with time.
And hey, Kim’s uterus has been a topic of online conversation lately, so at least she and Ariana had something to bond over.
Of course, in Kim’s case, she was the one who started the rumors, reportedlas part of a last-ditch effort to save Keeping Up With the Kardashians from cancelation.
Yeah, in case you haven’t figured it out, we’re living in very strange times.
Hopefully, North will grow up surrounded by so much weirdness that her method of rebellion will be to mature into a perfectly well-adjusted, non-fame-hungry adult.

North Carolina Cop Caught Body-Slamming High School Girl on Video
A North Carolina school resource officer has been placed on administrative leave today after shocking video showed him body-slamming a teenage girl, seemingly knocking her unconscious.
The officer has been identified as Ruben De Los Santos.
Sources connected to the Rolesville Police Department say that he has been assigned to the school since 2013.
It is not known if this is the first time that De Los Santos has been investigated for misconduct.
Police Chief Bobby Langston has declined to comment on the situation, but Wake County schools spokesperson Lisa Luten says that administrators are working with police in order to gather information that may help with the information.
The clip first appeared online as a Twitter post on Tuesday.
Rolesville Mayor Frank Eagles stated that he hopes to find additional footage, as all school resource officers are required to wear body cameras.
"When I"m looking at this video, I"m like, "Oh, my god, this cannot be happening to my child" because I was just up at the school and they didn"t even tell me what happened to her," Harrison said.
"They were so busy trying to get rid of the one who was in a fight but didn"t even say something about the one that was not involved in anything."
Onlookers say the girl was actually attempting to break up a fight when she was thrown to the ground by De Los Santos.

Shailene Woodley: ARRESTED During North Dakota Pipeline Protest!
Say what you will about Shailene Woodley, the actress definitely puts her money where her mouth is with regard to her political beliefs.
The Divergent star was arrested in Morton County, North Dakota today while peacefully protesting the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline.
The official charge against Woodley is criminal trespassing, but many are wondering if she wasn’t taken into custody due to the fact that her celebrity status brought added media attention to the controversy surrounding the pipeline.
Woodley videotaped her arrest, and many believe her interaction with police proves that she was unfairly targeted.
In the footage below, Woodley tells the camera that she was complying with the officers orders when she was arrested without cause.
“I don’t know if you guys just heard me, but I was walking back to my RV, which is right there so that we can go back to camp peacefully and they grabbed me by my jacket and said that I was not allowed to continue,” Woodley calmly stated.
“They grabbed me by my jacket and said I wasn’t allowed to continue,” she added.
“They had giant guns and batons and zip ties and they’re not letting me go.”
Addressing the officers directly, Woodley asked:
“Why am i being arrested and no one else is?” a defiant Woodley asks one of the officers.
“Is it because I’m famous?”
Woodley maintains that she was peacefully walking back to her RV in order to return to a nearby campsite when she was apprehended.
“Because I was trespassing like everyone. As soon as you guys asked me to leave, I l left. She was down there, everybody was down there,” she tells the officers at one point.
“I’m being arrested. I was down there with everybody else. I don’t know what’s going on? As soon as they came I left… it’s because I’m well known. It’s because I have 40,000 people watching.”
Woodley concludes her video message by addressing the media directly:
“So everybody knows…we were going to our vehicle which they had all surrounded and waiting for me with giant guns and a giant truck behind them just so they could arrest me. I hope you’re watching mainstream media.”
This is far from the first time that Woodley’s political beliefs have sparked controversy, and we’re sure it won’t be the last.

Reggie Bush: Daughter Briseis Looks JUST Like North West
Briseis Bush and North West look as though they could be sisters.
The similarities don’t end there, which is why this is freaking us out a little.
Briseis’ mom, Lilit Avagyan is Armenian…just like Kardashian. These two could also be sisters.
Briseis was born just a month before Kim Kardashian and Kanye’s West’s daughter in 2013, and her parents didn’t tie the knot until a year later, just like Kardashian and West.
PS – Kardashian’s former stepbrother, Brody Jenner attended Bush and Avagyan’s July 2014 nuptials after skipping Kardashian’s because she wouldn’t give him a Plus One.
PPS – He was able to bring a Plus One to Bush’s wedding.
Kardashian and Bush broke up in 2010 after being on and off for a few years.
Kardashian made a last-ditch attempt to save the relationship after Khloe Kardashian’s September 2009 wedding, to no avail.
At the time of their break-up, a source told Radar Online that Bush didn’t see himself ending up with Kardashian.
“Kim has been pushing for marriage, especially since Khloe got hitched, the pressure’s been on,” a source said at the time.
“She feels it’s the next step for her and Reggie.
Bush, however, already knew what he wanted.
“He basically put it on the line for her – he wants a wife that is a support system to him and would be a stay at home mom to his children,” the source added.
“Reggie loves Kim but he knows that’s just not her. He loves her drive and ambition, and he thinks she’s amazing, he truly loves her, but he knows she’s just not the right kind of girl for him to marry.”
Bush met Avagyan – an accomplished dancer who speaks three languages – in 2012, and the two were spotted in Paris together that summer.

Charles Kinsey: Unarmed Therapist Shot By North Miami Cops
He was just trying to help one of his patients.
On July 18th, behavioral therapist Charles Kinsey found himself on the ground, begging North Miami police officers not to shoot.
Kinsey was trying to convince one of his patients, a 23-year-old autistic man to come back to a group home. A witness called 911, claiming the incident was a suicide attempt, and one person involved was armed with a gun.
Kinsey positioned himself on his back with his hands up in the air, begging police not to shoot his patient.
"All he has is a toy truck," Kinsey shouted. "I am a behavior therapist at a group home."
But he was still shot, and the North Miami police department claims that one of their cops accidentally shot Kinsey when they were aiming for his patient.
"This wasn"t a mistake in the sense that the officer shot the wrong guy or he thought that Kinsey was the bad guy," John Rivera, President of the Dade County Police Benevolent Association, told reporters during a July 21st press conference.
"The movement of the white individual made it look like he was going to discharge a fire arm into Mr. Kinsey and the officer discharged trying to strike and stop the white man and unfortunately, he missed the white male and shot Mr. Kinsey by accident."
Kinsey spoke to WSVN about the ordeal, shocked that he was shot even though he was unarmed and complying with officers.
“I still get my hands in the air,” Kinsey recalled from his hospital bed, “and I said, ‘I just got shot.’
"I’m standing there like, ‘Sir, why did you shoot me?’ and his words to me was, ‘I don’t know."”
"I was more worried about him than myself," Kinsey went on, referring to his patient..
"As long as I"ve got my hands up, they"re not gonna shoot me, that"s what I"m thinking," Kinsey said. "Wow, was I wrong."

North West loves mermaids and Disney princesses, and she got to celebrate with both at her third birthday party.
While North turned three on June 15, her cousin Penelope Disick, who turns four on July 8, helped her celebrate and got a cake of her own.
On hand were moms Kim and Kourtney Kardashian plus dads Kanye West and Scott Disick along with Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner.

North West Turns 3, Owns $1 Million Worth of Clothing
Three years ago, North West made her way into the world at West Hollywood"s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Though she was born five weeks early, the little Karadashian-West spark plug wasted no time filling her passport with (several) trips to Paris, taking countless rides on private planes (commercial = poor people cattle car) and amassing a closet full of designer clothing so exclusive, it makes Neiman Marcus look like Ross Dress For Less.
In fact, Life & Style alleges that Kim Kardashian spends around $ 5,000 a week on West"s "glam" upkeep.
"North is one of the most photographed children in the world," a source told the tabloid.
"She loves having her hair and nails done, so it also keeps her happy."
And remember what I said about her enviable wardrobe?
"She has Hermès handbags and her own jewel-encrusted Balmain dress, designer shoes and even a snakeskin clutch," the source added.
It"s not all manicures and couture.
North, like many toddlers, loves Disney, loathes Snapchat and has great fun hanging out with her older cousin, Penelope.
Basically, North West is a good time.
Kardashian paid tribute to the toddler, who has become a social media star in her own right.
"Northie I love you so much I can"t even explain it!" Kardashian wrote on Twitter.
"Happy Birthday to my favorite mermaid!!!"
Kardashian then posted a video (below) from an island vacation.
Kris Jenner, known as "Lovey" to her five grandchildren, also wished West a happy birthday.
"Happy 3rd birthday to my little angel, my precious granddaughter North!!! I can’t believe you’re 3 today!" Jenner wrote.

North West & Penelope Disick Get Princess Makeovers at Disneyland!
Every little girl dreams of becoming a Disney princess.
Hell, I’m still waiting for my damn fairy godmother to come along and cure all my life’s problems.
But when you’re Kardashian-born, your Disney dreams can become reality.
Kim and Kourtney Kardashian took their kids to the happiest place on earth this week, where North West and Penelope Disick were treated to princess makeovers.
Kim shared a photo to Instagram of the toddlers with their pal Ryan Nguyen, royally clad in tiaras and gowns.
“The girls got princess make overs at the Bibbity Bobbity Botique! I’ve never seen anything sweeter! Thank you @Disneyland for the magical memories!” Kim wrote in the caption.
North was transformed into Elsa from Frozen while Penelope became Jasmine from Aladdin and Ryan transpired as Cinderella.
As a chick who’s not much of a girlie girl, even I have to admit this is darling.
Kourtney posted a second photo of the trio, who appear to be engaged in some sort of princess summit with the real Cinderella.
We hope she’s sharing tips on female empowerment and independence.

North and Penelope are becoming quite the social media stars and have miraculously motivated their moms to take their camera phones out of selfie mode for a change.
Earlier this week, Penelope lip synced to Rihanna’s “Work” on Instagram, and it might have been the cutest thing we’ve ever seen.
Last month, North and Penelope charmed Snapchat by rocking flower crowns as “Coachella girls.”

Beyonce Denounces Anti-LGBT Law in North Carolina
Beyonce has more important things to worry about right now than the identity of Becky with the Good Hair.
While fans delve into the singer’s personal life and wonder whether or not Jay Z cheated on his wife and with whom, Beyonce made a tour stop this week in North Carolina.
Unlike other artists who have canceled shows there in light of that state passing what many consider to be anti-LGBT legislation, Beyonce used her concert as an opportunity to speak out against the new law.
Back in March, Governor Pat McCrory signed a bill that prohibits cities from passing non-discriminations laws to protect homosexual and forces transgender people to use public restrooms that match up with the gender they were assigned at birth… as opposed to the gender with which they now identify.
Over the last few weeks, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas, Bruce Springsteen and Pearl Jam have all called off shows in protest of the discriminatory law.
However, Beyonce’s Formation World Tour pulled in to Raleigh for a show at Carter–Finley Stadium Tuesday night.
And the superstar made a point to voice her support for equality on her website in conjunction with the appearance.
“As The Formation World Tour makes its stop in the Tar Heel state in the midst of such a controversial time, we think it is important for us to bring attention to those who are committed to being good and carrying on the message of equality in this core of controversy,” she wrote.
Queen Bey then referenced the organization Equality NC for the work the group has been doing in the name of justice and continued:
“To accomplish these goals, Equality NC tirelessly lobbies the North Carolina General Assembly, executive branch, and local governments, broadcast LGBT news, stories and content, and mobilize our communities on issues that matter.
“[These issues include] marriage equality, parental rights, inclusive anti-bullying policies, employment discrimination, hate violence, privacy rights, sexuality education, adoption, domestic partnerships, and HIV/AIDS.”
We can’t blame other singers for simply boycotting the state until it changes its law.
But that is partly punishing citizens who have nothing to do with the law.
So we also applaud Beyonce for drawing attention to such an important issue via a straightforward, inspiring set of statements.
Chris Sgro, executive director Equality NC, said the following to the The Charlotte Observer:
We are “grateful and extremely humbled by the outpouring of support against this deeply discriminatory law. Beyoncé’s support is another voice in the chorus for equality …
“Beyonce bringing attention to the fight for equality is a good step in that direction.”
The fact that she can do this while also selling records and bringing attention to her husband’s alleged infidelity in a creative manner is what makes Beyonce Beyonce.

North West & Penelope Disick Are Adorable "Coachella Girls" on Snapchat: WATCH
Say what you will about the Kardashian sisters, they sure do produce some cute kids.
In a video Kim Kardashian posted to Snapchat (posted below), daughter North West and niece Penelope Disick are positively adorable as "Coachella ladies."
Using Snapchat"s flower crown filter, Kim points the lens first at herself, then at Penelope and North.
"We"re Coachella ladies," she says to the kids. "Are you a Coachella girl?
"I"m a Coachella!" North tells her mom.
"Coachella!" she squeals as the animated flower crown appears atop her head.
Penelope seems intrigued to see herself wearing the crown, but quickly goes back to eating her snack after it disappears.
We"re happy to see North has overcome her fear of her mother"s favorite social media platform.
When Kim first joined Snapchat in February, North was skeptical.
Kim posted a pic of herself making a duck face while her daughter looked positively stricken with grief.
"Not a Snap fan," she wrote on the pic, along with an arrow pointing to North.
That gem was followed up with a video of Kim singing in the car while North shot her some epic side eye, and we kinda loved her for it.
Earlier this week, Kim shared a snap of herself face swapping with North, and the results were… strange.
"This is what she"s going to look like when she"s older," Kim said. "Kinda weird."
Frankly, we"re just thrilled whenever Kim can point the camera at anyone besides herself.

North West: Here"s What She"ll Look Like as an Adult
Kim Kardashian just gave us a glimpse into what her daughter North West might look like when she’s a grown up.
Kim has recently fallen in love with Snapchat, because, obviously, how can she not embrace another means to post selfies?
One of the most popular features on the social media app is Face Swap, in which you can trade faces with another person.
Today, Kim swapped faces with North, and the results are kinda eerie.
“This is so weird to face swap as North,” she says to camera through North’s mouth.
“This is what she’s going to look like when she’s older,” the mom of two predicted. “Kinda weird.”
The selfie queen then went on to Face Swap with her sister Kourtney Kardashian, and, even weirder, she didn’t look any different.
“I kind of am Kourtney,” she says. “We’re like the same person.”
Kim not only tries on the faces of her daughter and sister, but also switches visages with pictures of her favorite person, herself.
“But I’m still loving me as me. The best,” she tells her fans.
Of course you do, Kim.
Last weekend, Kim attended the wedding of a friend in Miami and made it all about herself (and her boobs).
It’s what she does.

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas Cancel Concerts, Protest North Carolina"s Anti-LGBT Law
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas have made a strong, but simple point:
If transgender individuals cannot walk into any bathroom they’d like, no resident of North Carolina will be walking into an arena and watching us play music.
In response to recently-passed legislation that most folks believe is against the basic rights of those in the LGBT community, Lovato and Jonas announced this week that they will be cancelling two shows in the state.
Here is what Lovato wrote on Twitter by way of explanation:
“After much thought and deliberation, we have decided to cancel our Honda Civic Tour: Future Now shows in Raleigh and Charlotte.
“One of our goals for the tour has always been to create an atmosphere where every single attendee feels equal, included, and accepted for who they are.”
Added the stars via this joint statement:
“North Carolina’s discriminatory HB2 law is extremely disappointing, and it takes away some of the LGBT community’s most basic rights and protections.
“But we will not allow this to stop us from continuing to make progress for equality and acceptance.”
For those unaware of the basis over this decision…
North Carolina’s General Assembly has created and passed a bill (known as “HB2” … or the “bathroom law” in some circls) that blocks local governments within the state from enacting any anti-discrimination legislature meant to protect the LGBT community.
This includes their right to use either bathroom based on the gender with which they identify themselves.
Go ahead and hate on Demi Lovato for her stance, but we’re pretty sure she’s fine with that.
Demi and Nick are not alone, either.
To date, Billy Ray Cyrus, Ellen DeGeneres and Laverne Cox have all spoken out against the law.
Moreover, Bruce Springsteen also recently canceled one of his concerts following the legislation.
Anyone who has already purchased tickets to either of these North Carolina shows will receive a full refund.
“We know the cancellation of these shows is disappointing to our fans,” the statement concludes.
“But we trust that you will stand united with us against this hateful law.”

North West & Penelope Disick Rock Hair Extensions, Fans Freak Out!
If you thought Kylie Jenner was growing up too fast, just wait till you see her nieces North West and Penelope Disick.
The two toddlers are now rocking hair extensions in the form of long, cornrow braids, and the internet isn’t happy.
Kim Kardashian posted the photo above of her two-year-old daughter North to Snapchat, and fans pummeled social media with criticism, deeming the new ‘do inappropriate for a child so young.
“Why would you ever put fake hair on a child?” wrote one Instagram user.
“North West has hair extensions? Do what you want as a mom, but 2 years old and already being taught that natural isn’t good enough?” another critic chimed in on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian shared this pic of herself twinning with three-year-old Penelope:
“I made her my mini-me,” Khloe wrote in the caption.
However, her original caption read, “Native,” but it was later deleted and replaced.
Penelope and Khloe’s braids, while also met with criticism over the tyke being too young for a weave, are considered by many to be cultural appropriation.
On the flip side, many fans thought the kids looked adorable, so naturally, an all-out war broke out in the comment section of Instagram.
Earlier this year, fans were up in arms over a photo of North West applying contour makeup to her face. Some felt it was harmless fun, but others were concerned that North might be adopting her mother’s superficial ways too soon.
Most daughters want to copy their mamas, but when your parents are as image-obsessed as the Kardashians, is this a good thing?

North West Falls Down, Kim Kardashian Contines To Stare at Phone
I suppose of the perks of being part of a large family is that you"re never without a babysitter for your child.
Over the weekend, the Kardashians took a field trip to the Los Angeles County Museum, and everyone was having a grand old time with one of the interactive exhibits.
Kourtney Kardashian knelt down to assist North West during on particular exhibit, while Kim Kardashian stood behind them and played with her phone.
North took ahold of a yellow rope, then took a tumble. Aunt Kourtney sprung into action immediately, helping the toddler up.
Meanwhile, Kim must have been in peace talks with North Korea, because she didn"t so much as flinch when her daughter fell in front of a huge crowd of people.
I don"t have any children of my own, and even I react when a stranger"s child falls. So imagine my disappointment when I saw Kim continue on as though the help would take care of her offspring while she edited her Instagram account.
Those cheekbones aren"t going to photoshop themselves!
I"ve been watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians since it premiered in 2007, and the series has become increasingly difficult to watch since every scene features the girls with their heads down, glaring into their smart phones.
In one scene, Khloe told Kim she was so jetlagged from her trip to Australia. Kim, without even looking up from her phone, asked "really, why?"

North West: Who"s Her Daddy?!?
If the following story is true, we cannot wait to read the next Kanye West Twitter rant…
The latest issue of Star Magazine alleges that the rapper may not actually be the biological father of his assumed daughter, North West.
Because Kim Kardashian had an affair and cheated on her man? Not quite.
The tabloid explains that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians actress had her embryos frozen some time around 2012 because she wanted to ensure she could conceive a child some day.
Then Kim met Kanye.
But Kanye wasn’t ready to be a father just yet.
With her biological clock counting down, “Kim may have had one of the embryos implanted,” the magazine hilariously writes.
“She didn’t have time to wait for Kanye.”
Fast forward to December 2012, when Kanye and Kim announced they were expecting, and a Star sources alleges that friends of the latter were “suspicious” because the couple had not been an item for very long.
(Ignore the fact, apparently, that two people can know each other for approximately 30 seconds and still create a child together.)
“People are speculating that Kim tricked Kanye into believing they conceived in Italy,” the cover story reads.
