Oprah Winfrey: If Trump Can Be President, So Can I!
To say most folks were a bit surprised when Donald Trump was elected president on November 8 would be like saying you’d be a tad caught off guard if a venomous viper leapt out of your screen right now and opened your jugular.
Trump’s successful campaign flew in the face of not only all conventional wisdom and methods of polling, but also common sense:
Surely, a 70-year-old reality star with no political experience and a bad habit of engaging in petty Twitter feuds could never be elected to arguably the most powerful office in the world, right?
But Trump’s campaign defied all reason and logic, and it may have permanently blurred the lines between the worlds of entertainment and politics.
Sure, actors, writers, athletes, and comedians have entered the political realm before with varying degrees of success, but never before had an American gone straight from Hollywood to the White House without first proving himself in a lower office.
Needless to say, it’s a development that’s got political analysts and celebrities alike wondering about the new possibilities presented by the age of Trump.
And one beloved A-lister who had previously ruled out a public office might be suddenly reconsidering her options.
In a recent interview on his Bloomberg Television series, interviewer David Rubinstein broached the topic of Oprah Winfrey following in the Donald’s footsteps:
“Have you ever thought that given the popularity you have, we haven’t broken the glass ceiling yet for women, that you could actually run for president and be elected?” Rubinstein asked the iconic media tycoon.
“I actually never thought that that was, I never considered the question even a possibility,” Winfrey answered.
She then paused and smiled at the audience as though experiencing a sudden revelation.
“I just thought, ‘Oh. Oh,” she explained.
“Right, because it’s clear that you don’t need government experience to be elected President of the United States, right?” Rubinstein added pointedly.
“That’s what I thought,” said Winfrey.
“I thought, ‘Oh gee, I don’t have the experience. I don’t know enough. I don’t…’ And now I’m thinking, ‘Oh. Oh.’”
Was the Queen of Daytime TV joking, or has Trump’s victory made her consider the possibility of throwing her hat in the ring in 2020?
Obviously, it might be a few years before we find out for sure, but we’d like to take this opportunity to encourage Oprah to go for it.
After all, if we’re gonna have a president who’s never held any sort of public office before, it might as well be one who enjoys giving out free cars.
Now, that’s what we call an auto bailout!

You"ve NEVER Seen Ellen and Oprah Like This Before!
Ellen DeGeneres will kick off Season 14 of her talk show on Tuesday in most unusual fashion.
And we mean MOST unusual fashion.
Not exactly known for making like Kim Kardashian and taking her clothes off very often (or at all) in public, Ellen went ahead and shocked viewers with a parody of Magic Mike.
She and a few famous friends taped a preview for a fake movie titled "Magic Michelle," with Ellen taking on the title character.
Who else appeared in the video?
There was Olivia Munn as "Honeydew" and Jenna Dewan Tatum as "Peppermint" and Chrissy Teigen as "Linda Peterson" and Oprah Winfrey as an unnamed character who came in and did a split.
Wait… WHAT?!?
Yes, Oprah Winfrey came in and did a split.
She does have a new body to show off, remember.
"Hillary"s not the only one bringing women to the poles," states the film"s amazing tagline.
What prompted this faux movie trailer?
"I thought it would be a good idea to have Jenna teach me some dance moves," DeGeneres said on air, giving Dewan Tatum some choreography credit.
"She kept telling me to drop it way down low, so now my down low hurts really really bad!"
Ellen also joked that she has a new respect for the profession parodied in the following piece of footage.
"My knees are black and blue. I have a new respect for stripers. Give them more than singles you guys," she quipped.
Channing Tatum, of course, who starred in Magic Mike, based the film on his real, former life as a male stripper.
The Ellen premiere takes place on Tuesday, September 6.
The series simply put this video online ahead of time to drum up interest.
Look for Tatum to appear on Tuesday"s premiere, along with the cast of his new Las Vegas show "Magic Mike Live."
Oprah and Olympian Simone Biles will also swing by for interviews.

Oprah Winfrey: Look at My New Body!
Oprah Winfrey, you go, girl!
The world famous talk show host has struggled with her weight pretty much ever since she broke on to the national scene.
But Winfrey now says she"s been using Weight Watchers and has shed a minimum of 26 pounds (she did not reveal the final tally)… and she looks better than she ever has before.
“I’ve lost enough weight [where Stedman] can pick me up and carry me to the pool," Oprah told People Magazine this week, going all TMI on us by adding:
"I can straddle him without breaking his back."

Lindsay Lohan: I FaceTimed With Oprah on Christmas!
We all know that Lindsay Lohan is delusional and thinks nothing of misleading the public or outright lying to her fans. One look at Lindsay’s hilarious photoshop fails is enough to remind you that the girl’s grasp on reality is tenuous at best.
So LiLo shouldn’t be surprised that fans are questioning her latest baffling claim. But for once, the actress-turned-trainwreck might be telling the truth.
Lindsay posted the above photo to Instagram on Christmas, along with a caption reading, “@oprah thank you for always giving us all a very merry Christmas #blessing and am FaceTime -ing you with @alianalohan.”
Our first impulse was to make fun of Lindsay for taking to social media to brag about a FaceTime session, but frankly, we’d be doing the same if we were chatting with freakin’ Oprah while the rest of the country was falling off its new hoverboards.
Our second thought was that she must be lying, but considering Lindsay and Oprah have worked together in the not-so distant past, there’s a fair chance she’s actually being honest for once.
After all, even Lindsay wouldn’t be so bold as to flat-out lie about talking to a celebrity, knowing that celebrity could just deny it make her look like an idiot, right?
Of course, this is the same Lindsay that recently wore a fake engagement ring to a party to try and fool her friends.
And let’s not forget about the time Lindsay photoshopped herself into a photo of people doing charity work to try and convice the world she’s a good person.
Gah! We’re so confused! Let’s just us all go ahead and assume Lindsay is lying until Oprah herself comes forward and confirms that she did, for some reason, spend her holiday chatting with the Lohan clan.

Oprah Defends The Kardashians: They Work Hard!
Oprah Winfrey has validated the Kardashians.
Winfrey, like many of us, is all about hard work and sacrifice in order to reach your goals (also, THE SECRET).
Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O rang up Oprah for a bit of a chat, and they brought up Rebel Wilson‘s recent comments about the Kardashians having no talent.
Wilson claimed that she earned her fame the hard way, and the Kardashians owe their success to a sex tap.
“It’s not that I hate any of them individually, but it’s just that everything they stand for is against everything I stand for,” Wilson explained. “And they’re not famous for talent. I worked really hard to get where I’ve gotten to.”
Not true, according to Winfrey.
“People don’t understand that, people think, ‘Oh, if a television camera’s just following you, then that’s just easy,"” Winfrey, who interviewed the family two years ago, said.
“To really create a reality series that looks like something’s actually happening, it means you have to be on all the time.”
Winfrey noted that after a full seven hours of taping interviews, they still had another 7 hours of filming to do for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
“No matter who you are, that is work,” Winfrey said.

Oprah Winfrey: Lies About SECRET SON, Refuses to Meet Him
In January 2011, Oprah Winfrey revealed a family secret. The talk show host disclosed that she has a secret half-sister.
But more family secrets are rising to the surface. And this time, The Big O isn’t so innocent.
According to Radar Online, Oprah Winfrey has been caught telling varying stories about her “secret son.”
Winfrey confessed to Entertainment Tonight that she first became a mother-like figure to Calvin Mitchell in the 90s when he was 11.
Mitchell approached Winfrey on a Chicago movie set. After their encounter, Oprah tried to adopt him. She even tried to send him to a private school away from his biological family.
However, Mitchell became homesick and left the school. When he dropped out of the expensive school, Oprah decided to abandon the child because he couldn’t live up to her expectations.
In the October 29 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Oprah said she opted out of meeting with the now 35-year-old Mitchell because Radar arranged an earlier meeting between Oprah and her son. But the mega-celeb brushed him off.
The 61-year-old star also failed to tell Entertainment Tonight that she has repeatedly given Mitchell the cold shoulder.
In 2009, the Illinois truck driver attempted to approach Oprah at a free concert along Chicago’s Michigan Ave. Oprah was the sponsor of the event.
After he managed to slip past security, Oprah told him to give his phone number to one of the bodyguards. Mitchell gave his number, but Oprah never called him.
Mitchell has also left countless messages for her at Harpo Studios, but she refuses to return his calls.
The repeated and failed attempts to make contact with Oprah prompted Mitchell to ask Radar Online for help. He wants to know why Oprah abandoned him when he was 17-years-old.
“The only reason I went to the media was because it was the only way I could get her attention,” he told Radar. “I wanted to ask Oprah, ‘Why did you leave me? Why did you leave me?’”
It appears that no one in the Winfrey family will acknowledge Mitchell. Even Oprah’s father, Vernon Winfrey, refuses to meet his secret grandson.
“I’m all right if I don’t meet him,” the elder Winfrey told Radar. “It doesn’t matter!”

In the clip, the 35-year-old explained that after her Girls Next Door co-stars Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt decided to leave the house, it put a strain on her relationship with Hef. She said:
“Hef and I started hitting a rocky patch when it became clear that Bridget and Kendra were leaving, they were moving onto new things. I just had enough, and just had realized all the delusions I’d been under and that this was no longer the life for me.”
But after Holly decided to leave, the Playboy head honcho allegedly went through great lengths to get her to stay — even going as far as writing her into his will — something she was NOT cool with:
“I found on my side of the bed a folder that he left out, and in his will he left me $ 3 million. It was very clear that he left that out for me to see because he was hoping I would change my mind and get me to stay, but it just kind of disgusted me more than anything.”
