Dancing with the Stars Recap: Who Survived Double Elimination Night?

Dancing with the Stars is gearing up for its big finish in the coming weeks.

As such, Monday’s episode sent not one, but two couples home.

Surely that whad to spell the end of the line for Grocery Store Joe and Bobby Bones, right?

Well, this is Dancing with the Stars, and the voting has never made that much sense, so let’s run down the performances from the episode.

John Schneider and Emma Slater – Jazz – “Thank God I’m a Country Boy” by John Denver

John started the season off in a rough spot, but he’s really picked up the pace over the last several weeks and has narrowed the gap in scoring department with some of the others.

John admitted that he was still cut up about his divorce and that it would be great to see his kids, but it seems there’s a divide in his family right about now.

The performance was fun, and energetic, further confirming that he’s improving. The judges noted that there was an improvement and voted accordingly.

Judges’ Score: 25/30

Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe – Rumba – “Every Little Thing” with a live performance by Carly Pearce

Despite being middle of the pack when the season got underway, Evanna snagged a perfect score Monday night, and it meant she was officially in the big leagues.

Evanna was open about this track being personal for her, so it made sense that she channeled all of her energy into it.

Judges’ Score: 30/30

Juan Pablo Di Pace and Cheryl Burke – Charleston – “One Shot” by Hunter Hayes

Juan Pablo and Cheryl were ecstatic that they secured a perfect score last week, and aimed to keep up the pace in this crucial week.

We didn’t expect any lees for them, and their Charleston oozed elegance and creativity.

Judges Score: 30/30

Joe Amabile and Jenna Johnson – Tango – “Burning Man” by Dierks Bentley ft. brothers Osbourne

Joe may be showing signs of life in the ballroom, but he’s still way below where he should be at this stage of the competition.

From missed steps to a lack of dancing ability, he should have really been sent home weeks ago.

Judges’ Score: 21/30

Milo Manheim and Witney Carson – Foxtrot – “Born to Love You” with a live performance by LANCO

Milo and Witney have dominated the competition from the get-go, and that’s in large part down to their chemistry.

The Foxtrot was fast-paced and only showed that these two are the ones to beat at the end of the line.

Judges’ Score: 29/30

DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold – Viennese Waltz, “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton

Is there a cuter pairing than DeMarcus and Lindsay? They bring their A-game every single week on the ballroom floor, and this Viennese Waltz was no different.

Len noted, however, that there was an issue with the footwork from DeMarcus, and he made a great point.

They could get a perfect score if DeMarcus went all the way with his footwork.

Judges’ Score: 27/30

Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten – Samba – “Ladies in the ’90s” with a live performance by Lauren Alaina

Consistency is key, especially if you’re at the top of your game, and this duo turned up the heat with another sizzling performance.

There was not one thing to hate about the performance, and it’s becoming increasingly clear that it’s going to be a tough battle to the finish line.

The couple also confirmed they shared their first kiss, so the showmance was well and truly a thing!

Judges’ Score: 29/30

Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess – Viennese Waltz – “Can’t Help Falling in Love” with a live performance by Chris Janson

Bobby and Sharna were less than impressed with their middle of the road scores last week, so they opted to switch things up in a big way.

Thankfully, the country theme helped them turn in their best performance in weeks.

Judges’ Score: 24/30

John and Emma, DeMarcus and Lindsay, and Evanna and Keo were the only couples in jeopardy.

But we had to say goodbye to John and Emma and DeMarcus and Lindsay.

Yikes.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap: To Love and to Cherish

The Real Housewives of Atlanta returned to Bravo on Sunday night, and things took a serious turn.

As we previously reported back in June, Gregg Leakes is battling cancer. With reality TV filmed months in advance, the hit reality series opened up with a lot of details about the diagnosis.

NeNe wasted no time in telling viewers all about the diagnosis, explaining that Gregg was taken to hospital in May and said he needed to get prepared for surgery straight away.

“His health these last couple of years has been a lot,” said NeNe.

“We were not prepared to hear that,” she continued, adding that she needed to be strong for her family.

“‘I have put on a brave face, but I have had many moments in my car alone and if my car could talk it would probably say ”this b**** cries too much,"” Nene sobbed.

Gregg opened up about it when some of their friends and family showed up to wish him well.

“I guess the scariest part about all of this is when we got to the hospital and the doctor saying that we need to do surgery on you tonight or you ain’t going to make it,” said Gregg, adding:

“I went over and prayed to God, and I told him If it’s time, let’s go,” the reality star added of learning he had cancer.

“I don’t fear death; I don’t want to go. If my work is finished here, take care of them, let’s go.”

That’s when the season premiere turned into a somber affair. Gregg told everyone that he had written a letter for the doctor to give his wife if he did not pull through surgery.

“Writing that note was the hardest ever thing I did in my life, but you never know what is in you until you are at that door, I never thought I had it in me to beat cancer but know I’m going to beat cancer’s ass,” he said.

Despite the surgery being successful, both NeNe and Gregg recognized that it could return.

“You have been my light,” Gregg told NeNe. “I couldn’t do this without you. I couldn’t. I wouldn’t even try. So I want to thank you, baby.”

Elsewhere, Porsha’s new boyfriend made a big impression on just about everyone, and Porsha seemed ready to move the relationship to the next stage.

“The power of the tongue is real. I said just at the beginning of this year I was going to meet the man I was going to marry, I’m going to get married this year,” she said.

“And here I am completely in love and white is going to be my new color as I am going to be Mrs McKinley.”

Porsha subsequently opened up about how her man was so rich.

“He does really, really well. America loves hot dogs, and these hot dogs are going to put a hell of a ring on my finger,” she gushed.

“I just never had this type of connection on this level,” she continued. “He told me he loved me the first day we met and I was like ”I love you too” it felt natural, and we just went with it.”

Porsha later met up with NeNe, and the two chatted about their lives, with NeNe revealing why she was not going sit at home and wallow in despair.

“I’m the sort of person who would prefer to throw myself into work. I am not one to sit at home in a depression so I will continue to function,” NeNe told her.

That’s when Porsha continued to refer to Dennis as a “friend” and NeNe was quick to point that out to the cameras.

“Porsha’s been telling me a lot about how she has a new friend, it’s a guy, okay. Porsha has puppy eyes, she’s really feeling somebody,” NeNe dished to the cameras.

Porsha later said she wanted to keep Dennis away from her castmates, presumably because she knows there’s always some drama.

“I am very protective over Dennis, I do not want other people in our little world right now,” she admitted. “It is important for us as our friends to show her that we are here for you as well as Gregg.”

But Porsha may have gotten her wish by the end of the episode. Dennis appeared with a box that looked a whole lot like an engagement ring.

The Walking Dead Recap: Did Rick Grimes Die?

The Walking Dead said goodbye to an original star on Sunday night.

And no, we’re not talking about one of the recurring players here. We’re talking about the character who kickstarted the franchise on the series premiere, Rick Grimes!

If you watch The Walking Dead online, you know that Rick was injured at the close of last week’s episode after trying to lure two herds of walkers away from his comrades.

With Rick going in and out of consciousness, he met a lot of his fallen friends, and one of them was Shane aka the man who got jiggy with Rick’s wife, Lori while he was in a coma.

It was a surprising scene because it took Rick all the way back to his days as a police officer, patrolling the streets of Atlanta with his BFF.

It didn’t last long, however, and Rick found himself back in the present and a walker about to kill him. He managed to fight it and escaped with his horse.

Yes, it may seem like Rick is invincible, but he has been fighting these zombies for several years, so it makes sense … kind of.

Another ghost from the past Rick met was Hershel who told Rick it was okay for him to let go, and that Maggie was growing as a leader every single day.

All of these visions seemed to want Rick to know that he could die and everyone would be able to move on if they had to.

The most striking vision was Rick on a huge landscape filled with bodies, but the bodies were of everyone Rick’s ever been close to.

It was harrowing for sure, but there was a beacon of hope in the form of the dearly departed Sasha.

“’Cause you did your part like I did mine… like the others did before us,” she said.

“They gave us the strength that we needed to do what we had to do for the others, and the others draw strength from us. We make each other better, and it never ends.”

“It crosses over toward the brave and loving.”

With that, Rick woke back up and was saved by Michonne and his friends, but he was not out of the woods. As he prepared to die, his girlfriend had some words for him.

It’s not over,” she said. “We don’t die.”

That’s when we learned that Rick was still unconscious and he imagined the reunion. He continued to try and take the zombies away from his friends.

Rick found dynamite on the bridge with the walkers who were about to make their way to the other communities, so he blew the bridge up.

Everyone was stunned by the loss of Rick, noting that he died a hero. However, he was well and truly alive down the river.

Anne appeared and claimed she was going to save Rick from this horrible world.

“It’s not a trick, not anymore. I’m trying to save a friend who saved me,” she claimed to the people on the walkie-talkie.

“I have something for you now. We have a deal?”

Rick and Anne were picked up by the chopper and taken well and truly away from the danger zone.

What the eff just happened? As if that big twist was not bad enough, we were thrown straight into the future to meet a much older Judith who was leading the charge on a rescue mission.

What are your thoughts on Rick’s last stand?

Keeping Up with the Kardashians Recap: CHEATER! CHEATER!

Tonight’s episode is an uncomfortable and super emotional one for me.

But when we signed up for this show over a decade ago, we signed up for a reality show, which meant showing you guys inside our lives, the good, the bad and the ugly.

To relive these moments all over again is incredibly difficult emotionally but I also hope that with every trail [sic], tribulation and curve ball life throws at us, that we ALL get to learn from our journeys.

khloe ft pic

So wrote Khloe Kardashian in the lead-up to a new episode of her family’s wildly popular E! program on Sunday night.

As viewers found out a short while later, this installment of Keeping Up with the Kardashians was a mega awkward and difficult one, as Khloe and her loved ones learned that Tristan Thompson had been cheating on her.

It’s an old story for all celebrity gossip followers at this point, but the wound was reopened and made fresh yesterday evening.

The episode opened innocently enough, too, with Khloe bouncing herself on a birthball ball and saying simply:

“Tristan is on the road… All I do is sit on this birthing ball.”

Sadly, however, Khloe had no idea at this time that Tristan was out and about, having random Instagram models sit on his face.

But the truth then came out.

Thanks to the Internet.

“There’s a last night. I know Khloé’s gonna die,” said Kim Kardashian, who just happened to be filming a testimonial when she received a text about it.

Added Kourtney, upon discovering the horrible truth herself:

“This is really shocking and obviously heartbreaking. The whole thing makes me disgusted.”

Kendall Jenner, meanwhile, referred to Thompson as an “idiot.”

As for who broke the life-altering news to Khloe?

Kylie Jenner explained why she took on this challenging job:

“No one had the courage to tell Khloe because she was days away from giving birth,” said the cosmetics guru, adding for fans to consider:

“I’m the one who told Khloe. … She should hear from one of us versus on the Internet.”

And that’s exactly what happened.

How did Khloe take it? Surprisingly well. Better than we would have, that’s for sure.

“Everyone wants me to make a decision right this second and I just want to go and give birth and try to enjoy this,” Khloe said, admitting that she still wanted Tristan in the delivery room and continuing:

“I don’t want anyone to talk about it and make him uncomfortable and make me uncomfortable.”

The reality star later admitted on Twitter Sunday night that she was “in shock” at the time, but she still handled herself like a boss.

And she did it for her daughter:

keeks writes on twitter

Khloe did kick Tristan out of their shared home after being told all he had done, however, and also did consider flying back to Los Angeles to give birth.

But she was too far along to do so. It would have been too dangerous.

So the episode concluded with Kim, Kourtney and Malika Haqq waiting for their private plane to Cleveland, hoping they would arrive before Khloe had the baby.

khloe on facetime

“It’s going to be hard to look at [Tristan] or be in the same room as him,” Kim said, revealing what she wanted to say upon first seeing the dishonsest baller:

“To be continued motherf–ker. It’s not over.”

Of course, it not being over also applies to the romance between Tristan and Khloe.

They are basically going as strong as ever at this point.

Still, we always find ourselves asking and wondering: Can this really last?

Grey"s Anatomy Recap: Who"s Dying?

Ghosts from the past roamed the halls of Seattle Grace Memorial on Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy as Día de Muertos weighed heavily on the minds of our favorite characters.

It was all thanks to a girl named Flo who was in the hospital for surgery, so her family decided to celebrate their tradition, and it resulted in a lot of blasts from the past.

Before that, Richard pulled Meredith aside to let her know that one of his friends told him her father was dying of cancer and was in a hospice.

Gulp.

This threw Meredith for a loop as she tried to conclude whether her deadbeat father deserved to be graced with her presence one last time.

As such, she turned to Maggie because they’re as close as ever, but Meredith quickly realized the journey ahead was one she had to travel on her own.

Cece set her up on another date, and she wasted no time in talking about her issues with her father, and it rendered the whole romance a dud.

Both Link and DeLuca were in a battle for Meredith’s heart, so they were especially pissed to learn that she was still dating.

After embracing Día de Muertos, Meredith exited the hospital, but there were ghosts from the past walking the halls.

There was Derek, Lexie, George and even Meredith’s mother, Ellis. Meredith somehow found herself getting closer to Link after visiting Alex instead of her father.

Elsewhere, Miranda and Jo worked together with a woman who was planning her funeral because she was under the impression she was not getting the liver she needed in time.

A patient died, and Miranda decided to try and salvage the liver from his body because he was a match with the woman who needed the liver.

Despite the liver functioning, Alex shut the whole thing down, claiming that he couldn’t allow it to go ahead in case there were issues down the line that put the hospital under scrutiny.

But Bailey and Jo went ahead with the surgery thinking they were saving a life, and that they did. The surgery went well, and the woman survived with a new lease on life.

Jo thought Alex was going to flip out, but he loved that she was right and they got hot and heavy in his office.

Elsewhere, Betty went missing, and it threw a wrench in Teddy’s plan to tell Owen all about her carrying his child.

Yes, this storyline is going to be dragged on until the midseason finale, you guys!

Amelia, Teddy, and Owen worked together to find the teenager, but their mission was unsuccessful. They ultimately gave up when Amelia had to go to a meeting because she thought she was being triggered.

The mystery of Betty’s whereabouts will continue on next Thursday’s installment.

Jersey Shore Recap: Snooki Gets WASTED!

The cast of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation was tasked with its most important mission of all-time this week:

Finding a new home to crash in for awhile.

As you’ll find out below, the residence needed to include at least one prominent feature — and as you’ll also find out below, Snooki can really drink!

snook drinks

First, however, she and JWOWW paid a visit to an extremely pregnant Deena Cortese.

She explained to her friends how she recently had a scare and was subsequently ordered to be on bed rest until her next checkup.

Describing the “scariest moment” of her life, Deena said she began bleeding randomly about halfway through her pregnancy.

She assured her fellow MTV stars that she was fine now, but she would be unable to join them on the aforementioned house search.

“I totally get it because I was pregnant once,” a sad Snooki told the camera, possibly forgetting that she actually has two kids.

From there, it was Deena and JWOWW’s turn to fill Snooki in on everything that went down in Atlantic City a few days before, including Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s insane blowup with Jen Harley over … well… nothing at all, really.

There was also the matter of the Staten Island love triangle that formed among Vinny Guadagnino, Angelina Pivarnick and Angelina’s fiance, Chris.

snook3

Speaking of that latter storyline:

In a later scene, Angelina was telling Chris about her forthcoming stay in the new Shore House when Vinny popped up in conversation.

Chris was pretty chill about him at first, but then… not so much.

“When you were out having your guys’ day, did you guys talk about anything serious?” Angelina asked.

“Vinny was saying something like, ‘You seem like a normal guy, so what are you gonna marry Angelina for?"” Chris responded.

“Why’s he asking you that?” Angelina asked prior to answering her own question. “Because he secretly loves me. And you know what? I don’t blame him for loving me because he should love me.”

“How do we keep coming back to the same topic?” Chris shot back. “Maybe you’re in love with him.”

“Chris, shut up,” Angelina said. “Ew! Gross! Hell no. You’re an ass.”

snook and ron

But enough about them.

We now turn to the home Snooki found on Craigslist, a lovely looking abode that was only missing one key element: a beach!

Ronnie met up with his pal there and the two proceeded to get totally sloshed.

After Snooki failed to get new intel out of Ronnie about Jen, she headed to a club and danced up a storm.

She also convinced Angelina to go straight from the airport to this establishment, leading to her hilariously showing up with, like, 9 suitcases.

smnook4

“Dren has arrived at dinner,” Vinny says during a meal that featured Snooki choosing to drink instead of eat seafood.

“I haven’t seen Dren make an appearance at dinner in a long time. Now the vacation has begun,” he added of his pal’s drunken personality.

“I’m drunk bitch. What do you want from me?” Snooki replied.

Nothing else. We want nothing else from you at all, Snook.

American Horror Story Recap: The Rise of Satan

Michael Langdon is all about bringing the world to an end.

On Wednesday’s episode of American Horror Story, the spawn of Satan continued to try and come to terms with the path set out for him,

At the top of the hour, Cordelia wasted no time in telling Michael that Miriam was burnt at the stake.

Not one to mince his words, Michael claimed that he would be taking all of the witches down the moment he managed to bring his mentor back into the land of the living.

“It’s over,” said Cordelia. “We know who you are. Your allies are all dead. You’ve failed.”

Just when it seemed like Michael hit rock bottom, he decided to spend several days in a pentagram circle, waiting for his father to tell him what to do next.

When nothing much of not happened, the villain started roaming the streets and found himself inside a gathering in the Church of Satan because there’s apparently one on every street.

“I’ve seen bad facelifts that are more evil than you!” shrieked the leader of the building to some of her minions.

But the people who attended the church had decided to embrace an evil lifestyle and were somehow being rewarded by getting dates with the likes of Ryan Reynolds.

Michael revealed he was the person they were all waiting for, and everyone inside the church wanted to be as close to him as they possibly could be.

It still wasn’t enough for Michael. He didn’t know what was expected of him, so he continued to take his anguish out on his new allies.

One of his new allies, however, knew the full extent of Michael’s pain after he revealed what happened to Miriam.

The woman then took him on a ride to Northern California to a compound which is all about making the latest sex robots.

The two men running things were coke addicted and had bowl cuts. It was all a little too much, but the saving grace of this installment was learning that Venable was working as the assistant.

Both men complained that Michael was lying about being the Antichrist … until the villain set a woman on fire!

Michael managed to get them to craft a robotic version of Miriam, and all seemed right in the world of Michael Langdon for a hot minute.

What comes next?

We have no clue, but we’ll find out next Wednesday on the next episode.

The Voice Recap: Who Survived Night 2 of the Knockouts?

Night 2 of the Knockouts brought more of the same.

By that, we mean some downright awful decisions from the coaches, some more input from Mariah Carey, and some sub-par singing.

Hey, the show has been going for over seven years, so it was only a matter of time before the bar for talent had to be lowered.

But who survived the three Knockouts on Tuesday night?

Team Jennifer: Franc West singing “Call Out My Name” vs. Tyshawn Colquitt singing “Pillowtalk”

Jennifer was open and honest about putting these two together because they sound so similar. It’s survival of the fittest at this stage of the game, so it made sense.

Mariah wanted Franc to dial it back because he was essentially following the original version of his Weeknd cover, and it was repetitive.

The musical powerhouse also told Tyshawn to start quiet and get progressively louder as the performance goes on.

Franc took the advice on board, and it worked in his favor. His performance oozed confidence, but the same could not be said for Tyshawn’s.

Basically, he fell apart after the first verse, and never quite recovered.

Jennifer stuck to her guns and kept Franc.

Team Kelly: Abby Cates singing “Because of You” vs. Claire DeJean singing “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back”

Abby’s nerves continued to get the best of her, so she went with a Kelly song that was switched up by the original performer of the song.

As for Claire, they were worried she was rushing through the performance and told her to take baby steps with it.

Abby dominated her Knockout, and the nerves seemed to subside early on which was a huge positive. Claire turned in a decent performance, but it was no match for the one Abby performed before her.

Kelly kept Abby, and Claire was sent home.

Team Blake: Dave Fenley singing “Stuck On You” vs. Kameron Marlowe singing “I Shot the Sheriff”

Mariah had only positive vibes to send at Dave and Kameron. She felt they were strong vocally, and that they were ticking all of the boxes.

Dave managed to sing from the heart during his performance, and wowed the coaches, while Kameron languished like he already felt his time on the show was over.

However, Adam stepped in to give Kameron another chance.

What did you think of the latest installment?

Married at First Sight Recap: Not So Happily Ever After?

WARNING

Shade has been thrown. We repeat:

Shade. Has. Been. Thrown!

ever afters

On the series premiere of Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After, Ashley Petta went on the attack, slamming Bobby Dodd and Danielle Bergman for their seemingly utopian marriage.

Overall, the spinoff followed a trio of couples from Married at First Sight, all of whom expecting kids and all of whom have come a very long way from the last time they graced our television set.

Bobby and Danielle, for example, have been married for 6 months — and the former is three months along in her pregnancy.

Still, as difficult as it may be to believe they still haven’t had a single fight. Not one, they claim. Not even the hint of one.

This actually worried the experts, who felt that Bobby was simply doing too much in the relationship.

“He’s really taken on everything,” Danielle said.

bob and danielle

Enter Ashley.

She hurled the aforementioned shade during the couples’ retreat after Bobby and Danielle both rated their marriage a 10.

Really, she said? Just, come on now… REALLY?!?

“There’s always room for improvement,” Ashley said. “There’s no such thing as perfect and anyone that says their relationship is perfect, I call bullsh-t.”

But what about Ashley’s own relationship with Anthony D’Amico?

This romance was proof, in Ashley’s mind, that no one has a perfect marriage.

ash and ant

“Watching our season was probably the worst part of our marriage,” Ashley admitted. “Anthony and I’s relationship was very rocky after the filming.”

Are they in a better place now? Yes.

But does Ashley wish her husband would communicate better? Yes.

“I don’t think Anthony’s a very good communicator,” she stated. “Sometimes I feel like if I didn’t ask him, I would never get the information.”

Finally, we close this recap with an update on Jephte Pierre and Shawniece Jackson, who are also expecting their first child…

Jephte Pierre and Shawniece Jackson

This husband and this wife confessed that, at one point, they were separated — and they still don’t wear their wedding rings, despite Shawniece being eight months pregnant.

What gives?!?

Jephte said that part of the reason they simply had to separate was because he slipped into a depression after their season aired. It got pretty serious and dire.

“It’s almost like you’re mentally drowning,” he said. “I felt weak. I felt vulnerable.”

Jephte kept this a secret from Shawniece because she has a history of miscarriages and he didn’t want to upset her, risking another lost child.

But he’s psyched to be a father and Jephte has hope for the couple’s future.

“I’m excited to be a father,” he said. “The fact that I just get a chance to be a father is probably hands-down the biggest blessing.”

Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After airs on Lifetime Tuesday nights at 10/9c.

The Voice Recap: Welcome, Mariah Carey!

Mariah Carey may have built up a reputation as a diva throughout her years in the spotlight, but she’s decided to change this up by appearing on The Voice as an adviser.

If first impressions are everything, then she made a good impression on the artists she worked with. She wanted to push them to their limit while nurturing the talent.

Monday’s episode also served as the first episode of the Knockout rounds, pitting some of the best singers of the season against each other.

But how did it all pan out?

Team Adam: Tyke James singing “Ring of Fire” vs. Keith Paluso singing “You Are the Best Thing”

Mariah worried that Keith was being too heavy with his vocals and thought it would be great if he slowed down to give viewers a chance to take in his unique voice.

Meanwhile, Tyke was rushing through his rehearsal, and Mariah wanted him to douse it with some heart. That’s not a big thing to ask.

Keith’s performance fell very flat, and it was almost like he didn’t take any of the feedback on board which was rather problematic.

Tyke’s performance starred slow but gradually got better. He did take the feedback to heart, and that’s likely why he won the Knockout.

But Kelly wanted to give Keith another shot, so she stole him.

Team Kelly: Kymberli Joye singing “The Middle” vs. Zaxai singing “Cruisin’” vs. Natasia GreyCloud singing “Tennessee Whiskey”

This was an odd choice. There were three people competing in this heat, and it was because Cody Ray Raymond departed the contest.

The positive here was that two of the three would be advancing to the Top 24. Mariah had little to say to the three performers, presumably because they were solid.

There wasn’t a negative thing to say about either of the performances. The trio killed it, and Kelly saved Kymberli and Zaxai, while Blake stepped in to save Natasia.

Team Jennifer: MaKenzie Thomas singing “How Deep Is Your Love” vs. Mike Parker singing “Breakeven”

Makenzie has one of the best voices this season, but her Knockout performance was not all that. Mariah was taken aback in rehearsals and even shed a tear. We didn’t know that was possible, but stranger things have happened.

Similarly, Mike’s voice was all over the place when it came to the actual performance, but Makenzie secured a narrow victory, while Mike was sent home.

Team Blake: Funsho singing “Earned It” vs.  Katrina Cain singing “Don’t Let Me Down”

Mariah gave some solid advice to Funsho: pull back and relax. That was enough for him to tower above Katrina Cain, who languished with her performance.

Blake saved Funsho, but nobody saved Katrina.

Team Jennifer: Patrique Fortson singing “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” vs. SandyRedd singing “Dangerous Woman”

Patrique’s pacing was the issue for Mariah, and she helped him work on it, with some of her signature wit thrown in.

SandyRedd was given a similar set of commands, and both performances were solid if a little unspectacular.

Jennifer saved Patrique and SandyRedd, so that’s a plus!

Mackenzie chimed in here, adding that her husband is “dead set” on the idea and saying: “A friend of mine is the admissions director, but Maci has to be the one to do all the paperwork. She has to be the one to really get it going.”

4. Wait a Minute…

Talking about bentley

Bookout grew irritated that Jen and Larry would even put the idea of private school into Bentley’s head … without discussing it with her first. She told her son that just because he wants to go, doesn’t mean he’s gets to go. It’s more complicated than that.

5. Why Not Go Public?

Pondering a future

Speaking to Taylor McKinney about the topic, Maci explained her stance: “It’s almost like he thinks because you have to pay for it, it’s special. Part of me thinks that, just for the fact that Bentley has grown up in an odd family situation and on TV, public school is better for him [because] he gets exposed to a lot of different walks of life than his. I don’t want Bentley to think he is on a pedestal or belongs on one, being on TV … He just expects when he wants something, at Jen and Larry’s, he gets it.”

6. What About Bristol and Dakota?

What about bristol and dakota

The divorce was a go and Bristol was prepared to move out. Talking to one of the show’s producers, Palin explained that she and her ex-husband still needed to hammer out custody details for their two daughters — and that she’s heartbroken to see how Meyer has allegedly iced out her son with Levi Johnston, Tripp.

90 Day Fiance Recap: This Place Sucks!

Talk about a freezing cold welcome…

On 90 Day Fiance this week, Larissa was introduced to her new home with Colt, expressing extreme disdain for the residence and its surroundings as soon as she arrived.

Elsewhere, Leida and Asuelu lamented their initial days in America as well.

Let’s get to the recap, shall we?!?

90 dayers

LARISSA AND COLT

It started off okay for these day, as Larissa finally made it to the United States and couldn’t wait to begin her life with Colt.

The only problem?

She hated pretty much everything about Las Vegas the moment she experienced it, perhaps most notably the fact that Colt dared to pick her up from the airport without flowers in his hand.

“When I saw him without nothing in his hands, I thought, ‘What’s going on?’” she said.

When she at last got in the car and got to see Sin City itself, Larissa was unimpressed that it didn’t look like Beverly Hills or New York.

And she wasn’t shy about these feelings, either.

“In the future, I’d like to not live here,” she told Colt, explaining:

“My dream was to move to a place completely different than Brazil and here is like a nightmare.”

This reaction obviously annoyed and stressed out Colt, but he figured his new would eventually used to her new home — even though she did compare it to Mars.

JON AND FERNANDA

These two made up after their awful first night together, as Jon took his better half to dinner at one of his friend’s homes to introduce them to his fiancee.

“It’s a lot of pressure to meet his friends and family,” Fernanda admitted.

JON AND FERNANDA

Jon made note that his friends like to push his buttons, and this definitely held true over an awkward meal.

The pals questioned the coupke’s age difference, along with Fernanda’s motives to move to the U.S.

They also mentioned the tension between the U.S. and Mexico because of President Donald Trump‘s proposed border wall. Yikes!

“I know they want to defend their country and I want to defend mine,” Fernanda said, as the conversation eventually settled down and everyone grew happy that Fernanda was with Jon.

ASUELU AND KALANI

The former finally arrived in the United States. and, wow, did he make an entrance.

At the airport, he tore off his shirt and did a dance while chanting to celebrate Kalani’s birthday.

However, she wasn’t exactly a fan of this reaction.

ASUELU AND KALANI

“I hated that he just danced in the middle of LAX in front of everybody,” Kalani explained. “I guess I’m just going to have to teach him how to act in public in America.”

Or not. This guy is hilarious!

When Asuelu finally got to see his son, it didn’t go smoothly either.

The baby wouldn’t stop crying because he didn’t know his dad, which was actually really sad to witness.

“I can’t even imagine as a father what that would feel like, to have all of this anticipation and months of not seeing your kid and your kid’s just like, ‘Who are you? Bye,’” Kalani said.

ASHLEY AND JAY

Ashley was in Jamaica to help Jay prepare for his visa interview. This was a big deal, for obvious reasons.

Jay was pyshced to start his life with her, but he did have concerns because Ashley backed out of a pair of engagements in the past.

“Ashley, she ran away from two engagements because they wasn’t perfect for her and I’m kind of worried that she might run away from mine,” Jay said.

It didn’t really help when Jay received his via, and then Ashley made a joke.

About leaving him!

“We have 90 days to get married in the U.S., something I’ve ran from for so long,” Ashley said to Jay. “Don’t make me get my Nikes out.”

Oh vey.

Too soon, Ash. Way too soon.

The Walking Dead Recap: Did Maggie Kill Negan?

Ever since the brutal murder of Glen on The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 1, the love of his life, Maggie has been desperately trying to find a way to avenge his death.

Sunday’s episode of the AMC hit found Maggie arming herself to murder Negan, the former leader of the Saviors who carried out the deed.

Jesus was on Maggie’s side, insisting that Rick was in the wrong for allowing Negan to breathe another day, but was another murder the way forward?

“I am,” she claimed after Jesus asked whether she was the right one to make the decision. “I’ll be back when it’s done.”

As Maggie set off on her fateful mission, Rick was learning a whole lot of bad news from Eugene.

The bridge the communities were trying to restore was damaged beyond repair thanks to a storm, making all of the efforts a waste of time.

Eugene felt awful that he couldn’t salvage the bridge and felt like if he had studied some different things he could have helped.

It was a bad news day all round for Rick as he learned that Carol was taking her people back to the Kingdom and that Maggie was gearing up to kill Negan.

Rick sent a message to Alexandria to keep Maggie away from the villain and set off to get there to deal with the situation.

In a surprisingly silly move, Rick accepted a ride from Daryl, who took him in a different direction. That’s when Rick realized that his leadership was being called into question.

The two men found themselves in a ditch and trying to get to the root cause of their issues, but Daryl admitted he would be ecstatic if Maggie took Negan out of the equation.

“I’d die for you, and I would’ve died for Carl,” Daryl concluded. “But you’re chasing something for him that ain’t meant to be, man.”

While the men were hashing out their differences, Negan was trying to get closer to Michonne. Negan was having some sort of protest that found him refusing to eat food.

“The hunger strike ends today,” Michonne complained, but Negan continued to imply that the two of them were very similar and that they would work well together.

“Behind walls, bars, we die,” he said, before saying she was likely happy that she lost her son.

“Because you know all he woulda done was make you weak,” the villain said. But Michonne was done listening to him.

As if that was not enough action for one outing, Carol caught up with the Saviors and realized they knew all about the Oceansiders offing their people.

The most surprising thing here was that Carol was retreating because she was leading her people home.

“You’re a weak little woman who got in a lucky shot,” Jed laughed at her, and that’s when Carol opened fire.

Back in Negan’s little cell, Michonne returned to make him aware that they couldn’t be more different, and that while he has nothing to live for, she has her daughter and will battle for the life she deserves.

In the end, Rick had to do battle with herds of walkers and found himself falling off his horse and out cold.

Rick’s final episode airs on AMC next week. Could he be turning into a walker?
