Jimmy Kimmel Introduces the Sexiest Man Alive

Jimmy Kimmel had some bad news for, well, himself on his talk show Tuesday night:

The comedian was NOT named People Magazine"s Sexiest Man Alive for 2015.

As previously reported, that honor instead went to former soccer star and ongoing soccer stud, David Beckham.

But Kimmel did at least have the distinction of introducing Beckham as the magazine"s hunk of choice this year, chatting him up via satellite immediately after informing the world of the selection.

Before doing so, however, the host had some fun by covering up Beckham"s face and disguising his voice and then asking audience members to guess his identity.

Those in the crowd proceeded to ask Yes or No questions to the mysterious hunk, such as whether or not he"s ever played a superhero and whether or not he"s an actor and whether or not he"s ever been in a boy band.

Has he ever been an athlete? Is he married to a fellow celebrity? Does he have any tattoos?

These questions helped make Beckham"s identity a little more obvious.

Once he was revealed, the crowd went wild, the British star was given a trophy and he then lied said that the honor was "the best moment of his career."

Beckham went on to thank his parents, his stylist and a few others.

Pretty funny (and sexy!) stuff all around. Watch now.
