Michael Lohan turned himself in this morning and was booked on battery charges stemming from a brawl with his estranged wife.

Lindsay Lohan’s father is in the hot seat for an altercation with Kate Major, in which she claims he choked her and slapped their son.
Kate shot video of the argument in which there appears to be an audible smack, and Major reacting with a pained scream as a result.
The video and Kate’s allegation were used to charge the oft-maligned MiLo, who is not being charged with allegedly slapping his son.
Lohan’s defense is that this spouse admitted she lied about the battery. In any case, both Michael and Kate lost custody as a result.
The children are currently in the care of Michael’s mother, while the 55-year-old has been officially released on his own recognizance.
He is not allowed to possess weapons, consume alcohol or illegal drugs or contact Kate Major. Otherwise, back to the slammer he goes.
At this point, it’s a familiar spot for MiLo.
