I don’t believe I’ve witnessed a more co-dependent group of people in my life. I understand Ariana’s issues, as hers go much deeper than Katie not wanting Tom Schwartz to waste a vacation without vacation sex.
James wasn’t invited to Ariana’s 30th birthday party, which had a unicorn theme and a bunch of games.
No matter, he told Lala. Who wants to hang around with a bunch of hipsters in Silverlake, amiright? Let’s go spin some tunes!
Lala wasn’t invited because she and Ariana didn’t know each other at the time. It wasn’t because Ariana was feeling malicious or didn’t want to share her unicorn glitter. She just didn’t know Lala well enough. Fair.
After tears were shed at a birthday party, the boys were finally allowed to go to Las Vegas for Peter’s birthday.
While that happened, Scheana threw a sleepover with giant glasses of wine. This then turned into a Sapphic slapstick comedy as the girls sent the boys videos of their makeout sessions.
Scheana saw her sleepover as an opportunity for Lala and Ariana to get to know one another, and it worked! Can you believe it?
Lala was about to tuck herself in for the night when Scheana rang and said “Come over! We don’t hate you! Ariana wants to be cool and chill with you!”
My eyes started crossing at one point in the episode because things got boring. Is anyone else not entertained by this season so far?
