After several years as the most stable couple the Teen Mom franchise has ever seen, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra got married in August of last year.
At first, it seemed to be the ultimate, well-deserved happy ending – the perfect reward for the young parents sticking by one another’s side throughout two pregnancies and the difficult decision to give their first child up for adoption.
Tyler even posted loving tributes to his wife and child on a regular basis for months after they tied the knot.
Unfortunately, based on their recent social media activiry, it seems Tyler and Catelynn are going through a very tough time.
“Please just pray for my wife,” Baltierra tweeted last night.
Obviously, fans became concerned, and Baltierra’s follow-up tweet did little to allay their fears:
“For better or for worse…through sickness & in health…I will NEVER stop fighting for my wife. Keep her in your prayers…thank you.”
Things got even more worrisome when Catelynn began tweeting:
“For everyone that thinks I’m so “strong” I’m really not… one day you will know why. I also can be very weak,” she wrote.
“You guys have NO CLUE on how much you lift me up sometimes.”
Needless to say, it sounds like all is not well in the Lowell-Baltierra household.
We wish these two the best with whatever obstacle they’re enduring.
