Jill Duggar & Derick Dillard: Have They Quit Being Missionaries AGAIN?!

Last year, amidst the firestorm of controversy ignited by the Josh Duggar sex scandals, Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard announced that they would be leaving the country to perform missionary work in Central America.

The Dillards received donations from well-wishers, announced their departure on social media, and even took photos at the airport to assure their social media followers that they were really embarking on a humanitarian mission, newborn son in tow.

Shortly thereafter, however, the facade crumbled, and many former fans found themselves questioning the Dillards’ motives.

After piecing together some clues based on photos from social media, a handful of amateur Internet sleuths deduced that the Dillards were not in El Salvador as they had previously claimed, but rather they were back home in Arkansas.

A minor scandal ensued (overshadowed by another round of allegations against Josh), Jill and Derick refunded money to disgruntled donors, and the couple eventually returned to Central America, partially, no doubt, in order to set things right.

Now, it looks as though the Dillards have once again quietly returned home to Arkansas, and though they lasted significantly longer on their second trip, some fans are accusing the couple of duping the public.

The latest round of allegations was prompted by the photo below, which was posted on Jill’s Instagram page over the weekend:

The caption instructs fans to head to the Dillard family’s official website for a “spaghetti pie” recipe from Derick’s mother.

The pic appears to have been taken at her home in Arkansas, and while it could certainly be an old photo, it seems that Jill would’ve noted as much in the caption.

Naturally, fans were quick to take notice.

“Your mom looks so great! Praise God!! But why are you guys back in Arkansas?” wrote one commenter.

“You people know they were thrown out of the country for running fake missionary not backed by a church,” posited another.

Curiously, the Dillards have yet to respond to the accusations – a move that’s unlikely to allay suspicions.
