John Stamos Helps Boyfriend Pull Off Best Proposal EVER

Well, this video is totally and completely awesome.

It centers on Doug Cox, a resident of San Francisco who really wanted to propose to his girlfriend Katrina Firenze.

The only issue?

In his own words, Katrina has a "John Stamos problem," which means Doug also has a "Doug Stamos problem," as evidenced by an actual photo of the Full House star on a wall on Katrina"s house.

To wit:

Therefore, in order to get his girlfriend"s attention, and to make it clear he had the blessing of John Stamos, Doug wrote a letter to John Stamos that opened as follows:

Let me just start by throwing a number at ya. 34 percent, John. 34 percent. That is the percentage of space the entire ‘Full House’ series takes up on my DVR.

Doug proceeded to explain his personal pickle:

My girlfriend, Katrina, is the most amazing human being I’ve ever met. She’s kind, she’s genuine, she can win over a room in seconds. I want to marry this woman, but there’s a brick wall in the way:

A 6-foot-tall Greek God with better hair than me. And, John, I have fantastic hair.

Incredible, Stamos didn"t merely reply to Doug"s email…

… he did so by reading it out loud and then basically proposing to his biggest fan on behalf of her boyfriend.

"From what I see here on this email that you sent, you’re a handsome man," Stamos says in the following video, addressing Doug and then Katrina:

"Nice hair, a beard, beautiful blue eyes. Katrina, I would say yes to young Doug. So I guess this is me asking you to marry him, and I hope you do it."

Have mercy, right?!?

How does Katrina react to one of the greatest proposals we"ve ever witnessed?

Ashley Graham Gets Real About Body-Shaming, Is Still the Best

Gather ‘round, friends, it’s that time again …

Time to look at Ashley Graham and read her beautiful words and “ooh” and “ahh” over what a beautiful, amazing angel she is!

This time is the best time.

Ashley is very possibly the most famous plus-size model in the world right now, and she’s not taking the gig lightly. Nope, she’s taking every opportunity to speak out about her feelings and experiences.

Because you know this girl can reach some people.

In a new interview, Ashley admits that when other women tell her about the body-shaming they’ve experienced, she can always relate — because she’s heard it all before herself.

“Nothing’s actually surprised me,” she says. “I’ve lived exactly what they’re living. I’ve lived the torment of the names. I’ve lived the torment of boyfriends breaking up with me because they were afraid I was going to be too fat later in life.”

Let’s take a moment to mourn the fact that insensitive, ignorant jackasses like that actually exist in society …

“They were afraid I was going to be too fat later in life,” honestly.

Ashley continues by stating “It’s the same cycle, it doesn’t matter what generation we are in. Every kid is going to go through the same thing.”

“I wake up sometimes and I think ‘I’m the fattest woman alive.’ But it’s really about how you handle it when you wake up.”

“I look in the mirror,” she says, “and I have my affirmations. And mine are simple — ‘You are bold. You are brilliant and you are beautiful."”

“And then if my lower pooch is really puffing out that day, I say ‘Lower pooch, you are cute.’ And we have a moment.”

“And if the hips are really popping,” she adds, “I say ‘I love you too, hips."”

Ashley Graham: one of the most adorable people alive, or the most adorable person alive?

She also says that “having more role models, more women who are like ‘Yeah, I have cellulite. Yeah, it’s even on my arms, not just my legs. My butt is a really bizarre shape but you know what, whatever, I’m just going to rock it"” is important.

“I think if we had more role models like that, that were really just speaking their truth about their body and the skin that they’re in then maybe young America would be different.”

But while it would be great if we had more role models like that, it’s important to note that Ashley is a role model like that, and she’s done so much good, just by herself.

“I think my career has been a huge testament to how the industry is changing right before our eyes,” she acknowledges.

“I don’t think that a girl my size, as a model, would ever have been on the cover of Vogue and I’m still so shocked at that.”

Here’s hoping this girl gets many more big shocks — goodness knows she deserves them.

The Voice Recap: Best Blind Audition Ever?

With The Voice opting for more blind auditions this week, do the coaches run the risk of having too many people on their teams to be able to give them a good enough experience?

That’s certainly one of the more pressing questions as we delve deeper into the new season of the ratings juggernaut.

The auditions are the best part of the series, so viewers are getting what they want.

Which coaches got some fresh new blood for their team of game changers?

Let’s run down who advanced into the next stage of the competition…

Johnny Gates

Johnny went with “Maggie May” by Rod Stewart as his audition number. You could tell from the get-go that there was something to like about him.

The song was perfectly suited to his voice, and Gwen Stefani made sure he knew that. Hey, there’s nothing quite like using flattery to entice people to join your cause.

Malik Davage

Malik had an emotional story to let the coaches in on about his past, but not before he sang, “Sure Thing” by Miguel. It was a perfect rendition of an already perfect song.

He wanted to join Adam’s team, so he was ecstatic at having the chair turn for him.

Lauryn Judd

16-year-old Lauryn Judd went with “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper. It’s the ultimate feel-good song, and the coaches seemed to think so, too.

Her high notes put her on Alicia’s radar. The vocal prowess turned her chair, and you could tell Lauryn was ecstatic.

With any hesitation, she chose Alicia to be the one to nurture her singing.

Caroline Sky

Lauryn went with Caroline King’s “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.” It started something of a bidding war between Gwen and Blake, but Gwen seemed to think that telling the young girl that she was in the same position as her was the best move.

The vocals were there, but it seems like Gwen is going a bit far to get these people on her team and it’s getting a little nauseating.

Chill out, Gwen.

Josh Hoyer

40-year-old Josh Hoyer sang “Oh Girl” by The Shylights, and it was another show-stopping performance. All of the talent this year seems so much fresher and newer than the last cycle.

Josh’s solid pitch and great voice secured him a spot with Team Blake Shelton.

Through five blind audition episodes, the coaches have amassed quite a few additions to their teams.

  • Team Gwen: Joshua “JChosen” Hunter, Stephanie Rice, Savannah Leighton, Brandon Royal, Troy Ramey, Aaliyah Rose, Johnny Gates, Caroline Sky

  • Team Blake: Lauren Duski, Brennley Brown, Aliyah Moulden, Ashley Blake, Casi Joy, Micah Tryba, Josh Hoyer

  • Team Adam: Johnny Hayes, Mark Isaiah, Jesse Larson, Julien Martinez, Kawan DeBose, Taylor Alexander, Gaby Borromeo, Josh West, Malik Davage

  • Team Alicia: Anatalia Villaranda, Felicia Temple, Autumn Turner, Lilli Passero, Quizz Swanigan, Jack Cassidy, Missy Robertson, Lauryn Judd

What do you think of the extended auditions stage this time round?

Sound off below!

Steve Harvey Responds to Best Picture Flub: I"ve Been There, Folks!

Steve Harvey suddenly has something significant in common with Warren Beatty.

But it has nothing to do with the massive number of women with whom Beatty has had sex.

Instead, it’s the embarrassment of making an epically famous mistake on a national awards show stage.

In December of 2015, Harvey concluded the Miss Universe Pageant by announcing Miss Colombia as the winner.

The only problem at the time? Miss Colombia was not actually the winner.

That honor actually belonged to Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach of the Philippines, a gross error that Harvey was forced to come out and admit minutes after misinforming the audience initially.

It was quite the snafu, although it didn’t do much harm to Harvey’s career.

Considering he was invited back to host the same beauty pageant a year later.

On Sunday night, meanwhile, Warren Beatty was at the center of the greatest gaffe in Academy Awards history.

Due to an envelope mix-up that really was not his fault, the legendary actor helped tell the world that La La Land had won Best Picture for 2017.

Except it hadn’t.

Moonlight had won Best Picture for 2017.

Watch this VERY awkward snafu take place in the following video:

Soon after the proper victor was crowned, host Jimmy Kimmel tried to lighten the tense mood, quipping on stage:

“Guys, this is very unfortunate what happened. Personally, I blame Steve Harvey for this.”

It was a pretty good line, but it also gave Harvey a chance to milk the situation for as much attention as he possibly could.

“Good morning everybody! Went to sleep early last night. So…what I miss? #Oscars,” the comedian Tweeted this morning, prior to using the mistake as a PR opportunity.

“Tune in to @SteveHarveyFM at 8 AM ET today for my response to last night’s #Oscars . YOU KNOW I have something to say,” he added.

On his radio show, Harvey proceeded to wax at length about the Oscars flub.

“I know all about this. I know more than anyone else in the world about this,” said the 60-year-old. “I am the creator of these moments. The epicurean of this.”

Harvey went on reference a number reactions made on social media to the televised mistake.

“Because Warren made a mistake, does he have to die?” Harvey joked. “Should he lose his life? Y’all wanna kill him? Well he needs security because of this.”

Prior to the cast and crew from Moonlight accepting the Best Picture prize, Beatty jumped back on the microphone and explained what happened, saying he was confused the second he opened the envelope because it read “Emma Stone, La La Land.”

Since this snafu took place, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the auditing firm that tallies the Oscars votes, issued an apology and took responsibility.

“Me and Warren handled it great. It’s me and Warren’s thing,” added Harvey.

“We handled it great. At least the producers of the Oscars walked out with him… and they corrected the mistake on the night.”

Concluded Harvey on his show:

“Warren I know your pain!”

“I can help Warren get through this. I’m [going to] show him how to handle it with dignity and grace. Thank God for producers who stand with their talent. Unlike waiting the next day to handle it with the press, as it was suggested in my ear…

“I can help Warren get through this. Call me Warren, baby.”
