Catelynn Lowell Reveals Suicidal Thoughts, Checks Into Rehab

Many fans of Teen Mom: OG may have been shocked by the tweet Catelynn Lowell posted moments ago.

But ultimately, they rallied around the beloved reality star, offering crucial support as she faces the struggle of a lifetime:

Last year, Catelynn checked into a rehab facility to be treated for depression and anxiety.

Today, she revealed that she’ll be seeking further treatment following a recurrence of symptoms:

“Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I’m going to treatment #makeChesterProud @TalindaB #KeepTalkingMH #thiswontlast,” Catelynn tweeted Friday afternoon.

Catelynn tagged the wife of late Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington in her tweet.

Bennington took his own life in July at the age of 41.

Catelynn did not reveal how long she’s been struggling this time around, but she seems hopeful about her future.

Catelynn Lowell Tweet

She posted the above photo of her daughter’s toy on Instagram, along with the following caption:

“Well Nova buddy is coming with me… and I’m gonna hold it close to my heart the whole time… #thiswontlast #thiswontstopme”

Again, fans responded with an outpouring of support.

“Oh Catelynn. You are a strong, amazing woman. I’m so glad you’re getting help with this. That makes you even stronger to admit that you need it. I know you will get through this. Sending so much love and support your way.” commented one fan.

“Just being open about it proves to me that you are incredibly strong! You can overcome this! I wish you all the best.”

Other stars of the Teen Mom franchise have publicly offered messages of love and encouragement to Lowell, as well:

“Thinking of her,” Javi Marroquin tweeted, linking to an article about Catelynn’s struggle.

“Incredibly proud of my wife…when she thought she had no choices left, she reached out & decided to LIVE today!” tweeted Catelynn’s husband, Tyler Baltierra.

“My life would be desolate without her in it. You are beautiful, strong, worthy, & loved,” he added.

We’d like to add our voice to the chorus of well-wishes for Catelynn.

By being open about her struggle, she’s turning a potentially deadly negative into a positive that may well prove life-saving.

Our thoughts go out to Catelynn and her loved ones during this difficult time.

Watch Teen Mom: OG online to relive the many struggles that have helped form Catelynn into the woman she is today.

Aaron Carter FINALLY Checks into Rehab!

Great news — Aaron Carter is currently in rehab!

Sure, it would have been better news if had happened months ago, before his DUI arrest and very public meltdown.

But still, this is a wonderful development, and we should all be very, very proud of this guy.

If you pay even the tiniest bit of attention to celebrity gossip — which obviously you do, otherwise why would you be here? — you know that Aaron’s had a tough time lately.

There was that previously mentioned DUI arrest that happened back in July. He was also charged with drug possession then.

After the arrest, he gave seriously intimate interviews about his life, including details about his poor health and his eating disorder.

This month, police have visited him multiple times on welfare checks — people have been calling and calling authorities out of concern that he’d kill himself or hurt someone else.

Some of the calls, which were recently released, claimed that he suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, and that he’d been talking about purchasing a gun.

He also made an appearance on The Doctors this month, and during the interview he was told by those doctors that if he doesn’t go to rehab soon, he could die.

So thank goodness for this statement Aaron’s rep made on Friday:

Aaron has decided to enter a facility to improve his health and work on his overall wellness. He is going to do this privately and focus all his attention on being the best person and performer possible.

He is grateful for the support and love from his fans and looks forward to coming back stronger than ever before.

Shortly after the statement was released, Aaron himself hopped on Twitter to further explain things.

“Only I can change my life,” he wrote. “No one can do it for me.”

“I would like to tell all of you that I will be disappearing for a while to work on myself,” he told fans, adding that though he’d be “disappearing,” he still had plans to release new music this fall.

“My stressors haven’t subsided with family and this year has been crazy and I need some time off from it all.”

“Going to get strong,” he wrote. “And deal with my stress conditions and get better.”

In additional tweets, he said that he wasn’t planning on using social media again until next year because he’s “taking a break from this sh-t.”

“And FYI,” he continued, “MY FAMILY has nothing to do with this. I’ve actually had to cut them all off unfortunately and it’s gonna stay that way.”

“We can talk about this when I’m done taking care of myself. That goes to everyone especially the medias. I’m gonna have a lot to say. Thanks.”

Aaron wrote that he is “strong,” and “that’s why I made this decision. No one could’ve forced me. None of you even know my reasons for this. It’s called stress.”

“It’s time to say goodbye,” he finished. “I think goodbyes are sad and I’d much rather say hello. Hello t a new adventure and a stress free life.”

Here’s hoping that whatever is troubling him gets better soon.

Tiger Woods Checks Into Rehab Following DUI Arrest

Last month, Tiger Woods was arrested on DUI charges after being pulled over for reckless driving by police in Jupiter, Florida.

Video from Woods’ arrest showed the golf legend stumbling, slurring his words, and struggling to answer the most basic questions from police.

It was later revealed that a Breathalyzer test showed Woods had no alcohol in his system at the time of his arrest, and his inebriation was attributed to various pills he’d been prescribed by his doctor.

But while Woods’ team seemed to feel that the 41-year-old was somewhat exonerated by the revelation that he had not been drinking and that the pills he had taken were the result of a recent back surgery, the golfer still has a lot to answer for.

In the eyes of the law, driving under the influence of prescription medications is just as punishable as driving drunk.

And victim advocacy groups like MADD are arguing that it’s vital for Woods to be prosecuted, so as to send the message that all forms of inebriated driving are equally potentially fatal.

The repercussions for Woods could include changes to his custody arrangement with ex-wife Elin Nordegren, and Radar Online reports today that the troubled icon is hoping to get in front of the situation by checking into rehab.

“Tiger visited the hospital with his children on June 2, then went alone two days later to complete paperwork and his assessment,” a source close to Woods tells the site.

“If Tiger gets caught up in a scandal, he could face losing the 20 percent custody he currently has,” the tipster adds.

No word on how the insider arrived at that 20 percent figure, but Woods’ divorce from Nordegren wasn’t exactly civil, so it stands to reason that their custody agreement is a frequent point of contention.

Woods will likely experience the fallout from his latest scandal for many years to come, what with the potential loss of endorsement deals and possible punitive action from the PGA.

It seems that he’s aware that the best he can do these days is run damage control and hope to limit the long-term consequences.

Say what you will about Tiger Woods, the man is no stranger to PR crises, and we’re sure he’s learned a thing or two from past controversies.

Ryan Edwards: Teen Mom OG Star Checks into Rehab!

For the past year, at least, Ryan Edwards has been … well, he’s not been right.

He hasn’t been acting like that sassy jackass we knew from the early days of Teen Mom, and honestly, he’s looked high as a kite in recent seasons of the show.

And that’s because, as it turns out, he was high as a kits.

In one episode last month, Maci Bookout was seen reacting strongly to a text she’d received about Ryan, explaining that “I got some information about Ryan and certain things he’s doing and stuff that aren’t very good at all.”

She didn’t want to go into details, but she did say that it was “really scary stuff,” and that she had to get his parents on board to get him “healthy and happy and back to normal.”

Then, in last Monday’s episode, the subject of Ryan came up again while the moms were on vacation in Puerto Rico.

Amber Portwood told Maci that she could tell that he’s been “f-cked up” lately just by looking at him, and Maci didn’t argue.

Catelynn Lowell asked her if he’d consider going to a treatment center, and she said that he would, but everyone else in his life has been in denial about his issue.

Through tears, she told them “What I’m saying is that everyone else around him is too afraid of what it will look like more than his health … it’s all denial.”

“They all know.”

Later, she told her husband, Taylor McKinney, that she was just going to tell Ryan that he needed to go to rehab.

“Right now is legitimately about saving his life,” she said.

“Most nights I’m crying in our bed talking to you about whether or not today is the day that he’s going to die or when I’m going to do something about it or how I should do something about it.”

Well, hopefully Maci can be done worrying about it all now.

Because Ryan is finally in rehab!

E! News reported that “multiple sources” have confirmed that he’s getting help for his issues, and that he’s been in rehab for two weeks now.

He’s said to be “doing well,” but there’s no further information at this time.

There’s also no word on exactly what substance he’s been struggling with.

Here’s hoping that Ryan can get the help he needs during this time, and that he can return to his life healthy and happy.

What a sad, sad story.

Anthony Weiner Checks Into Rehab for Sex Addiction

Anthony Weiner is horribly, tragically, shockingly, depressing, nauseatingly back in the news.

The disgraced Congressman is at the center of a renewed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails because the FBI has flagged numerous references to the Presidential candidate on Weiner’s computer.

The FBI is in possession of Weiner’s computer because it is looking into allegations that he sent sexually explicit messages to a 15-year old.

We really wish we were making this all up.

But Weiner was married to close Clinton aide Huma Abedin at the time of his (third!) sexting scandal and the emails in question appear to have been either sent to Abedin or sent from Abdein.

It remains unclear.

The point of this story, however, is not to wonder what the FBI Director was thinking when he disrupted the 2016 Presidential election with a vague statement that has caused nothing but mass hysteria and confusion among voters.

Instead, it’s to focus on the future of Anthony Weiner.

Is he headed to prison for this underage incident? Maybe.

But The Daily Mail reports that he is definitely headed to rehab for sex addiction.

The British newspaper claims Weiner is actually in this facility right at this very moment; and while the publication does not cite the facility by name, it does say the following about Weiner’s temporary residence:

The facility supposedly “separates men and women and its program includes counseling for those addicted to cybersex and exhibitionism, as well as addictions to anonymous sex and porn.”

Weiner was first accused of sending inappropriate messages to a woman online in 2011.

This same issue cropped up again in 2013 when he was running for Mayor of New York, with the women in question speaking out each time and with lewd images of Weiner making their way around the Internet.

We’ll spare you the photo of Weiner’s underwear bulge and simply share below a picture of Weiner’s bare chest that he allegedly sent to one of his Internet paramours:

On September 21, Weiner was exposed for reportedly telling a 15-year old that he was “hard” and that he “would bust that tight pussy.”

He also sent this unnamed teenager some naked photos and said he had rape fantasies about her.

At the time of these sexts, Weiner was still married to Abedin… although he complained about their lack of a sex life to the girl.

Not that this excuses his behavior, of course. We’re just reporting what he said at the time.

Weiner was also caring for the couple’s infant son while she campaigned for Clinton and, based on one photo he sent this teenager, was literally lying alongside him at one point during their X-rated exchanges.

GROSS.

The FBI moved on to seize Weiner’s computer shortly after this information came to light.

By then, Abedin had separated from her disgusting husband and we all thought we had heard the last of Anthony Weiner.

But, because we were so badly mistaken, a democracy may soon come crumbling down on November 8.

Chevy Chase Needs "Tune-Up," Checks Into Rehab

Chevy Chase has checked into rehab.

The veteran actor – who most recently starred for years on Community before having a falling out with creator Dan Harmon – has been admitted to the Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center in Minnesota.

According to Chase’s rep, the ex-Saturday Night Live cast members is in need of a “tune-up” for an alcohol-related dependency.

The rep adds that the man who brought Clark Griswald to live “wants to be the best that he can be.”

Chase is a two-time Academy Awards twice whose most famous films include Fletch, Foul Play, Vacation and Christmas Vacation.

He previously sought treatment for addiction to prescription painkillers back in 1986.

At that time, many decades ago, his rep told The New York Times that Chase had checked into the Betty Ford Clinic/

For what reason?

His past addiction was related to “chronic and long-term back problems” he suffered while injuring himself doing pratfalls and stunts on Saturday Night Live.

(Chase departed the iconic NBC program halfway through it second season.)

“I never shot things up or freebased. I was pretty low-level when it came to drug abuse,” Chase told Esquire in 2010.

“I checked myself into the Betty Ford Clinic after my nose started to hurt.”

The rampant use of drugs and alcohol by cast members during the early years of Saturday Night Live has been well-chronicled at this point.

Chase is 72 years old.

He is in the middle of filming a movie titled “Dog Years” and recently wrapped another flick, “The Christmas Apprentice.”

Other stars who have sought professional help at this same facility in Minnesota include Chris Farley, Liza Minnelli and Robin Williams.

We send Chase our best wishes for a full recovery and clean bill of health, both mental and physical.

Jon Gosselin Works At T.G.I. Friday"s, Donates Checks to Charity

Let this be a cautionary tale to those who seek insta-fame and an Ed Hardy wardrobe.

Jon Gosselin, who at one point in his life was part of television’s most popular reality show, is now working at T.G.I. Friday’s.

TMZ confirmed Gosselin’s employment at the Lancaster, PA franchise, where the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star has been working for the past few months in the kitchen (he was even put through “chef boot camp”).

The site even got ahold of a selfie Gosselin took with two other employees.

Just a few minutes ago, Gosselin sent out an angry tweet, claiming TMZ ruined something he was “passionate” about.

“Hey @TMZ thanks a lot for ruining something I passionate about, good job interfering!!! FYI, I was donating my checks to charity!” he wrote.

Gosselin still gets to dabble in his other passion, DJ’ing once a month, which he’s been promoting since last year via Twitter.

Gosselin recently gave an interview to Yahoo! about life after Kate, in which he listed out the other ways he makes money.

“I have my [DJ] residencies, which pay my bills,” he explained.

“I get good money. I work at Building 24 in my hometown. It’s great for my kids. It means I’m not traveling a lot.”

Gosselin realized that working behind the scenes is a more lucrative endeavor, so now he is the VP of sales at Embodied Agency, booking talent for gigs which earns him 15-20 depending on the gig.

“I make more money booking than I do DJ’ing. You can only DJ seven days a week. You’re capped,” he said.

“But if you have other DJs working for you, that’s increased.”

Gosselin is hoping to get back in front of the camera now that he’s Mr. Financial Independence.

“It’s the longest job I’ve had after the divorce, and it’s all mine,” he said. “I own it. I don’t have a boss. It’s me. I’m the boss.

“Now I just want to add more dynamic to it by filming it.”
