Catelynn Lowell: Struggling to Cope with Miscarriage

Reports that Catelynn Lowell suffered a miscarriage are heartbreaking.

The Teen Mom OG star has reportedly sought guidance from rehab, but fans are now for the first time seeing her joy upon learning that she’s pregnant on the show itself. Quite the contrast from her current grim reality.

A new report reveals how Catelynn is coping … and that MTV’s crew has been instructed to walk on eggshells around her in this trying time.

On the most recent episode of Teen Mom OG, Catelynn Lowell revealed that she was pregnant.

She shared the news with Tyler Baltierra by putting Nova in a shirt that read “I’m going to be a big sister!”

Kind of a weird way for Tyler to find out what was, at the time, good news. But a cute reveal nonetheless.

Unfortunately, we already know that Catelynn Lowell suffered a miscarriage.

That’s one of the pitfalls of reality television being filmed months in advance — you see sad life events coming in the distance like an oncoming train, but you can’t get off of the tracks.

Catelynn has reportedly not taken this well.

Everyone grieves differently. Everyone processes negative emotions differently.

And no two people have the exact same response to the very personal tragedy of a miscarriage.

Considering the childhood trauma that Catelynn has endured, it’s very understandable that she faces additional challenges when it comes to grief and loss.

Grappling with suicidal thoughts, Catelynn Lowell checked herself into rehab for her own safety and well-being.

As a reality star, Catelynn has to relive her suffering as her story unfolds for fans and viewers on Teen Mom OG.

But there is still so much that fans don’t know. Obviously, many — though not all — know better than to directly ask Catelynn about her alleged miscarriage and about details of her stint in rehab.

Keep in mind that a lot of this is unconfirmed, but based upon reports of what people who work on the show were told.

Still, the story adds up. The pregnancy reports (now confirmed on the show), the confession of suicidal ideation, the rehab reports.

This is all so sad.

HollywoodLife reports on how Catelynn Lowell is coping and on the Teen Mom OG star’s current state of mind:

“Catelynn is not ready for any of this to be public right now so it’s complicated.”

Yes, it certainly is.

“It’s such a delicate subject there’s a lot of mystery around what exactly happened and the crew has been told not to ask her about it and not to mention it to anyone so there is a lot of unknowns.”

True. It’s good that the crew has been instructed to be sensitive at this time, but there has to be some unspoken awkwardness on set. Or so we imagine.

“Obviously Catelynn is having a very hard time coping right now so the priority is just getting her stable again.”

Absolutely. We all want to know, but Catelynn’s health and well-being come first.

Still, the source ends on a positive note.

“It’s a dark time, but she’s a fighter and she’ll make it through.”

Considering all that Catelynn has already been through, we’re inclined to agree.

Catelynn may have filmed rehab footage for Teen Mom OG. If so, we’ll all get front-row seats to an early and crucial stage of her recovery.

But grief and mourning aren’t something that you can complete during a stint at an Arizona facility.

Regardless of what makes it on camera, we expect that Catelynn will share her story with fans when she’s good and ready.

Kate Middleton: Hiring "Supernanny" to Cope With Prince George Tantrums?

It may seem like Kate Middleton never has a care in the world.

She’s freakin’ royalty, after all, which means she can snap her fingers and have you beheaded for showing up someplace wearing the same outfit as her.

According to the people who keep track of such things Kate and Prince William are lazy even by royal standards, which we assume means they refuse to lift their heads to make things a little easier for the people who feed them grapes for a living.

But toddlers are toddlers, and they care not for your titles, tiaras, or cozy relationships with the Illuminati lizard people who control the weather.

Which means that when it comes to disciplining 3-year-old Prince George, Kate has the same problems as every mom.

Well, maybe not every other mom.

She doesn’t have to find someone to stay with her kids overnight because she got stuck working a double at whatever the UK equivalent of Wal Mart is, but you get the idea.

The first clear indication that George could possibly be anything other than the prim and proper offspring he’s been depicted as came during Pippa Middleton’s wedding last month.

Kate was spotted losing her temper with George and Princess Charlotte, and we imagine Kate Middleton getting pissed is either hilarious or pants-wettingly terrifying.

It was tough to tell from the photos.

Anyway, around this time Will and Kate lost their head housekeeper, reportedly because she quit over their excessive demands.

So there’s a vacancy in the house of Windsor, and at least one of Will and Kate’s two kids is turning out to be a royal pain.

What to do?

Why, this is England, so the answer is to bring in a proper nanny, of course.

And we’re not talking some spoonful of sugar, flying umbrella type.

No, sources say Will and Kate shelled out 250,000 pounds (about $ 320,000 or 5 Chris Christies) for a so-called “supernanny” who’ sworn to whip their kids into shape.

“The new nanny is a graduate of Bath’s prestigious Norland College,” a source tells Grazia.

“She’s fluent in six languages and will speak to the children in French and Spanish, as well as using her skills as a qualified child behavioural specialist to help Kate and William deal with tantrums and other issues.”

Yes, she may speak six languages, but she doesn’t understand sass talk, ya hear?

Anyway, that’s how we like to imagine her introductory speech to the kids going.

Naturally, they’ll fight back with various hijinks, up to and including ingenious booby traps.

We basically stopped learning new things about the world around the time Home Alone came out.

Courtney Stodden Cradles Fake Baby To Cope With Miscarriage

Our hearts broke all over again after watching Courtney Stodden play with a "reborn" doll on Instagram.

"Just received my reborn baby today! exciting," Stodden wrote.

"i know it may seem a little strange but my therapist suggested that having him may help me cope with my loss. #rebornbaby

A reborn doll, though fake, strongly resembles a human baby.  The "reborn" aspect refers to the process of creating the doll, and has been in practice since the late 1930s, according to Wikipedia.

Stodden suffered a miscarriage in July, two months after confirming that she and husband Doug Hutchison were expecting their first child together.

"It is with a heavy heart to inform you that last week Courtney Stodden suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage,” Stodden’s manager told People Magazine in a statement.

“Courtney and her husband, Doug, are at an emotional loss for words and are using this time to grieve with their close family and friends."

“Please respect their privacy as the couple try to cope with losing their precious baby and seek the support they both need."

2016 has been a tumultuous year for the 21-year-old, who appeared on Lifetime"s The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition with mom, Krista Keller in hopes of repairing their relationship.

Being on the show ended up making things worse, since Keller wasn"t willing to own up to the fact that she fell in love with Stodden"s husband, describing it as an "emotional affair."

Since the miscarriage, Stodden has chronicled her journey towards healing.  Some of her behavior has been understandably erratic, but no more so than when she shaved her head and shared it on Instagram.

Stodden explained to followers that it was a symbolic gesture in honor of her "angel" that she lost.

Whether you agree with it or not, Stodden seeks support on social media, and followers have given her exactly that (with the exception of a few nasty comments here and there).

Time will heal your heart, sister.  You do you.

Madonna: Boozing, Popping Pills to Cope With Custody Battle?

Back in December, Madonna’s son Rocco Ritchie moved in with his father, Guy Ritchie, and has spent most of the time since living with the film director in the UK.

Despite reports that she feels humiliated and heartbroken about the whole situation Madge has carried on, touring non-stop in support of her Rebel Heart album.

Unfortunately, insiders say the 57-year-old is merely throwing herself into her work to take her mind off her troubled family life – and in her quieter hours, she resorts to much more dangerous coping mechanisms.

“Madonna seems to like her anti-psych meds,” a source close to the pop star tells Radar Online, noting that Clonozepam seems to be her drug of choice.

The source adds that Madonna has recently taken to mixing booze with her medications, which may be the cause of her recent erratic behavior, such as stumbling and slurring her words on stage, and engaging in social media tirades worthy of Kanye West.

According to several reports, the singer may have hit rock bottom over the weekend during a concert in Brisbane.

Witnesses say she took the stage late, chugged straight from a bottle of tequila, crawled around onstage, and even guzzled the mystery contents of a flask that she took from an audience member.

Madonna’s touring crew has reportedly staged multiple mini-interventions, but it seems their admonitions to take it easy have fallen on deaf ears.

“She doesn’t listen to anyone,” says the source.

Kourtney Kardashian: Drinking, Partying Non-Stop to Cope With Breakup?

It’s been six since Kourtney Kardashian dumped Scott Disick, but it seems the 36-year-old mother of three is still having a hard time adjusting to the single life.

Sure, Kourtney was hooking up with Justin Bieber for a while, but that ended in humiliating fashion after photos of Bieber kissing Hailey Baldwin on New Year’s Eve began to circulate online.

Now, Kourt is on her own once again, and insiders say the reality star is relying on some dangerous coping mechanisms.

“Kourtney’s out gallivanting around all night these days,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. “She’s gone AWOL on her responsibilities and is trying to fix her heartbreak in the worst way possible.

“Kourtney’s still hurting badly, she gets drunk and does crazy things. Chasing down all these young guys is nothing more than tragic.”

The insider says that Kourtney’s been aching for this sort of release for years, but now that she’s got a modicum of freedom, she’s overdoing it in a big way.

“In some ways, it’s overdue because all her life she’s been the responsible one, looking after her siblings, then her kids and Scott, so she figures it’s her turn now,” says the source.

The situation is a bit ironic, as Kourtney dumped Scott in part because of his constant partying and refusal to go to rehab, and now, loved ones are encouraging Kourtney to seek professional help.

“It’s getting worse too because she’s always so cranky and exhausted, the only release she gets is from partying,” says the insider.

“Everyone wants her in serious therapy or rehab. All the emotional instability, boozing and partying is a recipe for disaster.”
