Candice Swanepoel Slams Breastfeeding Critics, Points to Clear Double Standard

Candice Swanepoel has something to say about the act of breastfeeding.

And about the general concept of breasts in general.

A Victoria’s Secret model, Swanepoel has walked on runways around the globe.

She has also posed topless for a number of campaigns and magazines.

And not once has Swanepoel received criticism for this scantily-clad spreads.

If anything, fans have clamored for more, praising Swanepoel’s body and asking for her to show off as much cleavage as possible.

But attach a small child to one of her boobs and Swanepoel hears a very different response.

She’s noticed it ever since becoming a new mother to a baby boy named Anacã, who she welcomed into the world this October with fiance Hermann Nicoli.

And now Swanepoel has something to say about this very clear double standard; about the fact that she can make a living taking her shirt off…

… and yet also somehow offend folks by taking her shirt off.

“Many women today are shamed for breastfeeding in public, or even kicked out of public places for feeding their children,” the model wrote as a caption to the following image.

As you’re about to see, it depicts her providing an important meal to her son.

“I have been made to feel the need to cover up and somewhat shy to feed my baby in public places but strangely feel nothing for the topless editorials I’ve done in the name of art…” she continued.

Swanepoel included the hashtag “mothernature” with her justifable rant and concluded as follows:

“The world has been desensitized to the sexualization of the breast and to violence on tv…why should it be different when it comes to breastfeeding? -Breastfeeding is not sexual it’s natural-

“Those who feel it is wrong to feed your child in public need to get educated on the benefits breastfeeding has on mother and child and intern on society as a whole.”

Amen, right?

Swanepoel is the latest in a long line of female celebrities to extol the virtues of breastfeeding and also lash out at critics of the healthy act.

Must these women actually apologize or feel embarrassed about giving sustenance to their baby?

Come on, society. We’re better than this, aren’t we?

Hopefully, going forward, more people such as THIS TARGET EMPLOYEE, will speak out any time they see someone being shamed for feeling her child.

Jeremy Calvert Posts Photo of Daughter with MASSIVE Gun, Hears it From Critics

Teen Mom 2 fans are up in arms out after Jeremy Calvert posted a picture of his three-year-old daughter, Adalynn, with a rather large gun.

Well, some fans are up in arms. Others are less irate. Or all for it!

Jeremy’s weapon was not loaded at the time, it’s worth noting.

The reality star used his Instagram caption to reassure naysayers of this fact and that his daughter with Leah Messer was not in danger.

“She said, ‘Daddy, let’s go hunting and shoot a coyote…"” Jeremy wrote, clearly proud of his offspring (who looks just like him BTW).

“Lol better watch out boys, she won’t miss.”

A lot of people weren’t LOLing, but if you watch Teen Mom 2 online, or follow Jer on Insta, you know he’s not one to give many f–ks.

In fact, he seemed to know the hate was imminent.

“P.S. yes people it’s a gun and it’s also unloaded get over it…” 

This is the Internet, of course. “eople never get over it.

“This is deeply troubling,” one fan responded indignantly, right on cue and excoriating this move as the worst kind of parenting imaginable.

“I can’t say I’ve ever commented on a celebrity’s post before but this really saddened me. When did childhood stop meaning innocence?”

“Around guns there can be no innocence.”

“I think it’s simply time to unfollow,” another comment reads, adding that it may seem innocent what he’s doing, but think of the little girl.

“For a small child, this has such vast implications,” writes the fan, clearly of the mind that such upbringing may not be the best idea.

“She can’t simply press the unfollow button.”

Deep stuff right there, ladies and gentlemen.

Another took the rebuke to the next level.

“What the f–k Jeremy? I don’t give a s–t that it’s unloaded … treat it like it is loaded!” the fan wrote, urging him to rethink such behavior.

“This is giving her the wrong impression of what a firearm is. It’s not a toy! Why don’t you try being a responsible parent for once.”

“Giving gun owners a bad rep.”

In fairness, other Instagram followers praised Jeremy for allowing little Addy to get “comfortable” with a gun, which is just a part of life.

Gotta start ‘em young … or not?

Another defender of Calvert, who is now engaged to Brooke Wehr, said, “the thing is she won’t just go grab it because she thinks it’s okay.”

“That is part of teaching our kids gun safety!”

“My daughters know not to touch guns at all unless there is an adult to supervise. Whenever they see one they know to go tell an adult asap.”

Maybe, this member of the pro-Calvert gun photo camp posits, it’s “because we teach our kids safety and not that they are evil machines.”

The argument, questionable but not irrational, is that perhaps more exposure to guns would lead to fewer tragedies, this fan concluded.

Others were more ambivalent about the whole thing.

“We live in WV for God sake!! There is nothing wrong with this picture!! If he wants to take a picture with his daughter and his gun then let him”

“I’m sure he wasn’t posting to get nasty reactions.”

“It’s a cute picture! How is anyone to judge others!!?”

Apparently this fan is new to the whole social media thing – especially when it comes to parenting – but the sentiment is nice, at least.

One can only imagine how Leah Messer feels.

Part of her may be alarmed at the sight, but then again, she is from West Virginia, and she’s been embroiled in her fair share of controversies.

Khloe Kardashian Bashes Interractial Couple Critics: Who the Eff Cares?!?

Khloe Kardashian has dated many black men.

This, of course, is not a racist statement. It’s simply a fact.

Over the years, this reality television star has been married to Lamar Odom, while also making love on various occasions to French Montana, James Harden and Tristan Thompson.

Like so many other guys and gals out there, she has a type.

But this type has also exposed Khloe to the darker side of humanity at times.

Over the weekend, Khloe made her feelings known when it comes to idiots who still take issue with men and women of different color actually being boyfriend and girlfriend.

“Interracial dating in today’s society is still looked down upon by many people,” someone named Kelsey Wells wrote to Kardashian on the latter’s app, adding:

“I am a woman who dates a man. Why can’t it just be that simple?”

Wells went on to explain how she lives in the South and everywhere she and her boyfriend go, “there are always stares,” and “people often make rude comments and gestures toward us.”

Even so, she concludes: “I brush it off because I know the man I love is HUMAN.”

Kardashian took this sentiment and ran with it in a blog post.

“Thank you Kelsey for talking about this important issue,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wrote.

“I don’t support racism or discrimination of any kind and I especially don’t understand why some people are still against interracial relationships.”

Khloe shared this viewpoint just as her relationship with Thompson (below) appears to be getting serious.

The E! star helped Thompson celebrate his NBA Championship ring ceremony this month by attending his season-opening game in Cleveland.

She’s been spending so much time with the power forward that sources claim LeBron James is concerned.

He’s worried about the Kardashian dating curse and Khloe serving as a distraction and has allegedly made it clear to Thompson that he better end the romance ASAP.

“So many guys in the NBA blame Khloe and the Kardashians for their role in destroying Lamar Odom, and Kim’s ex Kris Humphries’ career never recovered,” an insider told OK! Weekly last week, adding:

“James Harden, whom Khloe dated last, hit a slump. They’re all telling Tristan that he’s going to be next.”

Through three games this season, Thompson is averaging 9.3 rebounds in an average of 28 minutes per contest.

That’s pretty solid and, most importantly, the Cavs are 3-0.

Added Khloe in her angry blog post from Friday, when it comes to interractial dating critics:

“Like who the F cares anymore?! It’s so crazy because we’re all human beings capable of love so why does skin color have anything to do with it.”

It’s a great question, but remember: people are ignorant racists. It’s just a sad fact of society.

There’s been chatter of late that Kardashian is pregnant with Thompson’s baby AND that the two are engaged.

Oh, and that they will be getting married on TV and that they will have their own reality show.

We aren’t buying any of that chatter, but it’s clear there are serious feelings at work here.

“[We like to] just chill at home,” Khloe told Us Weekly of her and Thompson.

“That’s really what we do, mellow. We’re not that exciting. I feel like people think I’m, like, wild and like hanging from chandeliers.”

Kim Kardashian to Photoshop Critics: Eff That!

Kim Kardashian has called out her critics.

Sorry, let us try that again: 

Kim Kardashian has kalled out her kritics.

The reality star shared a behind-the-scenes video of her experience on the set of Fergie’s new music video for the song “M.I.L.F. $ ” on Sunday night, but the video came with a message.

It was short. It was simple. And it addressed those who think Kim’s waist was digitally altered for her appearance in the music video.

“F–kYoPhotoShop #Corsetlife,” Kim wrote.

We don’t know whether or not Kardashian was Photoshopped for the music video.

But we do know for certain that her figure has nothing to do with any sort of ridiculous waist training.

Fergie’s latest effort features such famous mothers as Kim, Chrissy Teigen and Ciara.

As you can see in the Kim Kardashian photos we’ve posted here, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star sports a blond wig and shows off a small waist throughout her cameo.

She does so while wearing a tight, white “Got MILF?” T-shirt and high-waist acid-washed denim booty shorts.

After the clip was unveiled last week, many folks on social speculated that the mother of two was digitally altered to look slimmer.

We can see how this would be insulting to someone who has worked hard to shed her baby weight.

This is not the first time, of course, when people have wondered whether a few retouching tools were used on Kim’s pictures.

In 2014, the irritating star famously tried to “break the Internet” by posing naked for Paper magazine, whose pictorial of her also prompted similar accusations.

Heck, some still think Kardashian wears butt pads.

“So many people have asked us, ‘Oh, is that butt…it can’t be real, it’s padded, you added to it, in retouching…’ That is all 100 percent Kim Kardashian,” Paper Editorial Director Mickey Boardman said in late 2014 of the controversy.

He added:

“We did not create a body. We did not shave pounds of her waist. That is who she is. That’s what she looks like. That’s why she’s a superstar.”

At one point in Fergie’s video, Kardashian douses herself in milk.

The result is a photo that no one believes in edited… but few hardly believe actually exists.

It features more cleavage than anyone has ever displayed in the history of mankind.

Jordan Rodgers Puts Critics on Blasts, Insists: I"M SINGLE!

Jordan Rodgers would like to make something as clear as can be.

Are you listening? Are you paying attention? Pull your screen closer to your face if need be…

Okay, here it is:

THE BACHELORETTE CONTESTANT IS SINGLE!

Those who watch The Bachelorette online are well aware that Rodgers’ romantic status has been a source of contention for JoJo Fletcher ever since she met this aspiring husband.

At one point, amidst talk that Rodgers has a girlfriend, Fletcher confronted the brother of star quarterback Aaron Rodgers over the allegation.

Now, in response to ex-girlfriend Brittany Farrar saying Rodgers cheated on her and that he continued to online date even while appearing on the ABC program, Jordan has taken to Twitter to slam this report.

“Completely false,” he wrote this week, explaining:

“[Account] inactive since Feb + completely cancelled exact [minute] [my] phone was returned [to] me in May – Fact check.”

A few hours later, Rodgers posted an even longer message that detailed the exact steps that took place before and after he was hired as a Bachelorette suitor.

“To all who are reading these false rumors I hastily wrote this, please excuse grammar,” he tweeted, attaching screenshots of a note he typed out on his phone.

“I had a Raya account through February,” he said, continuing:

“Unlike every other contestant on this show who was flown [in] for final selection and [a] finalized spot on the show in January, I was never contacted nor was the show even on my radar until early March.

“Just over a week before filming I was reached out to by a producer.”

Rodgers went on to address the fact that, yes, his name was leaked as a contestant before the official cast was announced… but he had not yet agreed to actually be on the series.

“I did not sign or agree to do the show until March 12, the day before we reported to [Los Angeles] for filming,” he said.

“My name was leaked before I ever gave a verbal [agreement] and in fact I said I would not do it, yet I was leaked anyway before agreeing.”

According to his contract, Rodgers cannot have an online dating profile while appearing on The Bachelorette.

“Per contract, immediately after my filming on the show ends I cannot use these types of applications nor would I want to breach contract by doing so,” he added.

“I immediately deleted the profile as soon as I had access to do so. However the auto renewal had already been processed through the month of May and into June. Despite this I have not used this app, had it on my phone or accessed it in any capacity since my portion of filming was done. …

“Any photos attempting to prove otherwise are old screenshots from before filming.”

This is quite the explanation.

“These reports are false,” he continued.

“I would not be dumb enough to breach my contract or do anything related to a dating app to give any insight to what may or may not have happened on the show.”

Mother of Child Who Fell Into Gorilla Enclosure Goes Off on Critics

The mother of a four-year old boy who fell into an enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo on Saturday, resulting in the shooting death of a beloved gorilla named Harambe, has spoken out for the first time.

And she’s sent a message to all who blame her for this controversial incident.

Over Memorial Day weekend, the child in question crawled through a barrier and fell into a moat.

Once there, he was picked up and dragged all around by the 400-pound, 17-year-old male gorilla.

Out of fear for the toddler’s safety, a zoo employee shot and killed the animal, sparking an intense debate over animal cruelty and irresponsible parenting.

In response to critics who have accused her of not properly keeping an eye on her son, Michelle Gregg wrote the following on Facebook:

“I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers today.

“What started off as a wonderful day turned into a scary one. For those of you that have seen the news or been on social media that was my son that fell in the gorilla exhibit at the zoo.

“God protected my child until the authorities were able to get him. My son is safe and was able to walk away with a concussion and a few scrapes…no broken bones or internal injuries.”

Gregg has since deleted this post, but added at the time it was written:

“As a society we are quick to judge how a parent could take their eyes off of their child and if anyone knows me I keep a tight watch on my kids.

“Accidents happen but I am thankful that the right people were in the right place today.

“Thank you to everyone that helped me and my son today and most importantly God for being the awsome [sic] God that He is.”

Having come under some fire itself, The Cincinnati Zoo also released a statement via Facebook on Saturday, defending its  decision to kill the gorilla.

“We are heartbroken about losing Harambe, but a child’s life was in danger and a quick decision had to be made by our Dangerous Animal Response Team,” park director Thane Maynard wrote in the note.

He added that “tranquilizers do not take effect for several minutes and the child was in imminent danger.”

Madison Cox, Teen Beauty Queen, Taunts Critics After Arrest

Madison Cox is the latest beauty pageant champion to get in trouble with the law.

Voted Miss South Carolina Teen International in 2015, Cox was arrested this week for forgery according to WPSA.

In a case we haven’t exactly seen before, the 17-year old is accused of coming up with her own doctor’s notes in order to cover absences from school.

On its own, this would not necessarily be illegal.

If Cox had simply used regular stationary, that is.

But she allegedly ganked a notepad from Parris Family Chiropractic to really drive her phony claims home.

The teenager has been charged with counterfeiting/forgery and she didn’t take very kindly to those who called her out for the act on social media.

First, in response to someone trying to comfort Cox by telling her that at least she wasn’t crying in her mug shot, the troubled beauty queen replied:

“Why are u guys so obsessed with my life?”

She quickly deleted this message.

But then Cox followed it up with another response to some backlash, writing:

“It’s sad that I’m the only entertainment in y’alls lives.”

Whoa there, Madison. You definitely are not.

Madonna Defends Prince Tribute, Sends Message to Critics

Madonna would like to apologize to anyone who has an issue with her tribute to Prince at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night.

She understands your criticism and she didn’t mean to offend you and she knows she did not do the late musician proud and…

… JUST KIDDING!

Does that sound remotely like Madonna to you?

Just hours after The Material Girl sang a version of “Nothing Compares 2 U” and then joined Steve Wonder for a duet of “Purple Rain,” BET called out Madonna for what that network deemed to be a terrible performance.

Hyping its own Prince tribute at the BET Awards on June 16, this is what the network Tweeted:

Pretty harsh, huh?

Even before Madonna took to the Billboard Music Awards stage, a change.org petition compiled over 8,000 signatures, urging almost any big name aside from this legendary artist to honor Prince, who died on April 21 at the age of 57.

This, despite the fact that Madonna collaborated with Prince back in 1989 and even once dated the superstar.

What does Madonna have to say to these critics?

“Deal with it,” she wrote last night on Instagram alongside a photo of her decked in an all-purple getup.

Several hours later, she returned to elaborate via a second post:

“Anyone who wants to do a tribute to Prince is welcome to. Whatever your age Gender or skin Color. If you loved him and he inspired you then show it!!!! I love Prince 4 ever.”

Sounds pretty reasonable, doesn’t it?

With so many awards shows on the docket, we can expect an endless number of Prince-themed performances over the next few months.

Instead of criticizing the ones you don’t like, let’s all use them as an opportunity to remember the reason why they exist in the first place:

Prince is dead. Prince is an icon. And Prince deserves to be honored in as many ways as Hollywood can honor him.

Leah Messer to Critics: Yes, I Totally Feed My Kid!!

In a recent episode of Teen Mom 2, Leah Messer and her ex Corey Simms discuss their daughter Ali’s alarming weight loss.

Ali, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, hasn’t been eating and is down from 40 to 34 pounds, Corey tells Leah.

“It takes everything I got to get her to eat,” he explains, who wants to take their daughter to the doctor as a precaution. 

This came as news to Leah, who argued that Ali eats when she’s in her care, and thinks her weight has remained stable.

Nevertheless, the mere mention of Ali’s possible weight loss sent fans reeling, because Leah hasn’t exactly proven to be the pinnacle of good parenting.

Amid the criticism, Leah set out to dispel claims that she’s a bad parent by Instagramming a photo of – you guessed it – her daughter eating food.

“Where is my little babies? Where has the time went !? I’m so extremely grateful to be these three little girls Momma ! #Blessed,” she wrote in the caption.

Translation: See?? I totally feed my kid, so STFU, haters!

We have to chuckle, because this is in fact a classic Leah move.

Earlier this year, the mom of three was criticized after an episode of Teen Mom 2 in which Aleeah complained of being hungry and cold on the way to school.

The idea that Leah was failing to feed her kids breakfast sent fans over the edge.

Leah’s response?

A photo of her daughter Addie chowing down on some brekkie.

“Mommas baby wanted pancake and sausage on a stick, yogurt, and strawberries for breakfast!” she captioned the photo. “She is so happy.”

I won’t ask WTH “pancake and sausage on a stick” might consist of, but Leah seems to think one pic of her kid eating will convince everyone that she’s an amazing mom.

Earlier this week, Leah shared a rambling essay on Twitter about being a “classy mom,” though not a nun, and includes some other random stuff about tattoos and God.

It’s pretty insane. And if you’ve got a couple hours to kill, go ahead and try to make sense of it yourself.

Josh and Anna Duggar SLAMMED By Critics: This Family is a Cult!

Yesterday, a People magazine profile of Anna Duggar earned a surprising amount of attention online. 

The magazine has always taken a more favorable stance on the Duggar family than most media outlets, and their depiction of Josh’s long-suffering wife was predictably glowing.

But the descriptions of Anna’s “fun” personality are not the reason that the piece gained so much traction on the Internet.

In fact, it seems the article was circulated largely by Duggar detractors who were harshly critical of Anna on the People website.

Some of the more scathing comments include:

The article contained insiders’ accounts of Anna’s childhood, but while her family has been described as even more devoutly religious than the Duggars, the author mostly glossed over the strict nature of Anna’s upbringing.

Many commenters took notice of this and pointed out that understanding Anna’s past is important to understanding why she’ll never divorce Josh Duggar, despite his many transgressions.

From a young age, Anna was taught that marriage is for life and wives are to stick by their husbands even in cases of infidelity and abuse.

It seems to be a belief that she’s carried with her into adulthood.

As for the comment suggesting that Anna and Josh are likely to expand their family soon, it looks as though it may be dead-on.

Reports that Anna is pregnant with her fifth child began to circulate shortly after Josh left rehab.

Leah Messer Hits Back Hard at Parenting Critics: Shut Up You A--holes!!

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is accused of bad parenting almost daily this season, and she’s taken to Twitter to defend herself once more.

Last month, a report alleged Messer’s six-year-old daughter with Corey Simms suffered a “nasty fall” while left unattended at a playground.

Ali, who fans who watch Teen Mom 2 online know suffers from a rare form of muscular dystrophy, fell on her back and head while swinging.

“I know kids fall, but [Leah Messer] definitely wasn’t watching them at the park,” one viewer wrote on social media, as another added:

“Ali fell so hard. [Leah Messer] didn’t even check her head. She could of (sic) gotten a concussion. All she did was wipe off her back.”

Messer was also accused of failing to watch her youngest daughter with Jeremy Calvert, 3-year-old Adalynn, who was also at the park.

Then this week, proving she cannot catch a break, Messer’s critics hammered her for letting one of her daughters eat frosting straight.

Not the worst parenting crime ever committed, but when your track record includes passing out in a drugged-up haze while holding a baby …

Basically, she’s put through the wringer no matter what she does, and she’s not happy about it, firing back on Twitter with this comment:

“Wow … there was definitely someone there! #A**Holes.”

Leah was referring to myriad claims that she was abandoning her kid(s) at the playground and letting them roam dangerously unsupervised.

She’s played the blame-it-on-editing-or-tabloid-gossip card many times before, and there likely are exaggerations or lies written about her.

Still, fans remain concerned for various valid reasons.

In a second tweet, she added, “You know you’re well grounded and healthier than ever when you can stay focused and keep moving forward!”

This is true, as a general statement … but is she?

Her co-parenting relationship with Corey could be jeopardized again by a disturbing video of Leah, though she has shown signs of progress.

Messer and Corey have been fighting over custody of their twin girls for two years amid allegations of Messer’s potential drug habit.

Things have progressed lately with Leah regaining joint custody, but the near-constant stream of bad parenting accusations can’t help.

She’s also back together with T.R. Dues, which isn’t necessarily a sign of stability – at this point in her life, is a live-in beau what she needs?

Josh Duggar: Attacked By Critics, Embraced By Fans As He Returns to Public Life

Last week, after a year of scandal and six months of treatment for addictions to sex and pornography, and several weeks of seclusion, Josh Duggar returned to the public eye.

Of course, all he did was go on a road trip with his family and stop for a round of mini-golf, but from the reaction online, you’d think he’d announced he was partnering with TLC for a new reality show.

Naturally, the timing of his re-emergence was no accident.

The Duggars promised fans that Josh would not appear on Jill & Jessa: Counting On and they made good on that vow.

Now that the show has wrapped it’s first full season, however, the Duggars are free to gradually re-introduce Josh to the public.

“SOOOO Good to hear news on Josh and family!!” one commenter wrote.

“We pray for them often and really believe they should be on the show and sharing how they are walking through such a difficult situation. We believe Josh’s story could help so many Christian men who have the same struggle.”

“That is so awesome! I think they should post a picture somewhere of Josh and Anna and the kids,” another fan commented.

“Yes, Josh made a mistake but was man enough to seek help for the sake of himself, his marriage to Anna, his kids, and the rest of his family and the world that has been involved in his life more importantly God above.”

Of course, many fans were quick to point out that Josh’s “mistakes” involved molesting four of his sisters and cheating on the mother of his four children.

He confessed to the latter only after it was discovered that Josh had been using an Ashley Madison account to seek cheating partners.

Several media outlets reported that Josh’s presence made other families visibly uncomfortable at both the mini-golf establishment and at the high school graduation that brought him to Tennessee.

“Three families with young girls were unhappy Josh was so close to them and left the golf course when they saw him and Jim Bob,” says one witness.

“The parents were not comfortable,” adds another.

So is it too soon to bring Josh back into the spotlight – or will it always be too late?

We suppose only time will tell, but you can be sure the Duggars will give it their best shot.
