Jon Gosselin: Kate is Suing Me Because the Kids Love Me More!!

Kate Gosselin is currently taking Jon to court to sue him for … many times more money than he actually has.

Newly obtained court documents don’t fully explain why Kate is demanding every cent of Jon’s money.

But one thing is very clear: Jon Gosselin is pissed. And he’s fighting back.

In case you were wondering if Jon and Kate Gosselin still hate each other … wonder no more.

Kate is hauling Jon into court, suing him for $ 132,875.

Between the very specific amount and their history together, many suspect that she is asserting that he owes her child support money.

(Remember, folks, that Kate is the one with the reality series while Jon has sometimes seemed to struggle to find work, his celebrity being more of a burden than a help in most situations)

All that we really know is that Kate claims that he breached an alleged agreement.

Now, RadarOnline reports that Jon is fighting back against Kate’s lawsuit.

Thanks to some court documents that they obtained, they know what he’s arguing.

Within the filing, Jon’s attorney says that Kate’s six-figure demand is “an inappropriate amount.”

The papers also call into question Kate’s assertion that Jon owes her anything.

His attorney notes that Kate’s lawsuit does “not provide any proof of the language of that agreement.”

You know how you can’t sue someone for breach of contract without an actual contract?

Always keep documentation, folks.

Within his response, Jon shares that he suspects that Kate is seeking “child support arrears.”

This sort of back-payment would, he says, be due if he “filed a petition to modify custody.”

Of course, while much is still unclear, none of the documents specify that the couple has made any changes whatsoever to their child custody agreement.

(Sure, many fans would love to see a change in that, but while wishes are nice and all, it takes court filings to amend a custody arrangement)

Jon’s attorney is asking the judge to strike Kate’s six-figure demand all the way down to zero dollars and zero cents.

The argument is that the money requested, which is more than Jon has, also “prejudices the welfare and is against the best interest of the minor children.”

Some wonder — though, with limited information, it is difficult to be sure of the exact timing of anything — if perhaps Kate is suing Jon as a way of lashing out over how much time he’s been spending with daughter Hannah.

Hannah has been visibly spending time with her father for weeks. Many fans believe that they are now living together.

Even commenters on Kate’s own Instagram are celebrating this, writing things like:

“So happy for jon and hannah….she looks really happy…finally shes out of that prison..jon worked long and hard to rescue her from that witch…i thought you being in charge was never gonna change kate….oh brother has it changed.”

Commenters on Jon’s Instagram seem much more positive about the apparently changed arrangement.

“Hannah and Jon look great. I always loved her personality and Jon you did a great job as well.”

Of course, some couldn’t help but shade Kate in the process.

“Yes…Jon is the one we liked and respected. No comment on the other.”

So … is Kate’s lawsuit backlash for Jon spending time with Hannah (and even some time with Collin!)?

Or is it less emotional than that. Is Kate trying to get payments that she genuinely believes that Jon owes her now he is (at least for now) seemingly Hannah’s primary caregiver?

We have to acknowledge that it may be neither — some huge coincidence.

As this lawsuit continues to play out in court, we will hopefully all know more.

One thing’s for sure — we don’t think that Kate is going to get what she wants. Jon can’t pay her what he doesn’t have.

Kate Gosselin: I Demand Every CENT of Jon Gosselin"s Money!!

In case there was ever any doubt, yes, Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin still hate each other.

And now it’s more than just personal — they’re facing each other in court.

This time, it’s about more than just their long-running custody battle. It’s about money. Is Kate trying to bleed him dry?

RadarOnline reports that Kate Gosselin is demanding a major payday from her ex, Jon Gosselin, according to court records that the tabloid obtained.

How much money? To the tune of about $ 132,000.

She apparently filed this lawsuit in March, but Jon isn’t going down without a fight.

“He’s contesting it.”

But a $ 132,000 dispute isn’t something that you work out over coffee. This is a civil dispute.

“They’re fighting it out in court.”

It sounds like this battle has been waging for about two months.

Their research indicates that Jon Gosselin was personally served with a complaint by a shariff on April 5.

On April 6, Jon issued his response — in the form of a petition to strike. He has lawyered up.

As to why Jon would wage this legal battle with Kate in the first place, the answer is pretty simple.

“It’s a lot of money.”

Six figures is no laughing matter, especially when, like Jon, you’ve struggled as a famous person without a reality series to keep you afloat.

“Both parties are contesting it.”

And the insider suggests that this court battle could drag on for ages.

“It’s not over yet.”

It’s clear that they’re willing to fight.

So far, this has only cost Kate an estimated $ 300 and Jon an estimated $ 200.

But court battles usually include attorneys and other expenses that can cost more than a few hundred dollars.

And, of course, whoever wins, at least one of them will be losing out on a sizable chunk of cash.

It is not immediately clear, RadarOnline notes, why Kate is demanding this cash or in this amount.

Back in 2012, in simpler times when people feared that the world would end for mystical reasons rather than through unstable despots with nuclear stockpiles, Kate said that Jon owed her child support.

Specifically, she said that he owed her $ 3,500 in child support. That’s not a lot to have, but that can be a lot to owe, you know?

Back then, Jon told her frankly that he could not afford to pay it. Kate voluntarily waived it at the time. Which seems … uncharacteristically nice of her.

This lawsuit seems more like the Kate with whom viewers are familiar.

But … what is her angle?

Online estimates put Kate’s net worth at about $ 200,000. They put Jon’s net worth at about $ 10,000.

We don’t really know what Kate expects to get out of this. We don’t even know why Kate believes that she is entitled to this money. Is it child support or something else?

We’re glad that Jon Gosselin and his daughter spent some quality time together in recent weeks.

We hope that he gets to spend time with all of his children, even during this court battle.

Jon Gosselin: Glad I Could Get My Daughter Away from Kate For a While!

Earlier this month, Jon Gosselin shared a rare photo of Collin. These are extremely unusual these days, ever since Kate shipped her son off to parts unknown.

But while fans are pleased to see Collin alive — though they still have plenty of questions — Jon has been posting more photos.

These are with his daughter, Hannah — and only with Hannah. This is raising even more questions, honestly.

Obviously, it is wonderful to see Jon Gosselin, who has long complained that he hasn’t gotten to spend much time with his children over the years, spend some one-on-one quality time with his daughter.

And it looks like it’s really nice for Hannah, too.

They seem to have spent over a week together, including going on a road trip and visiting Collin.

During that time, they’ve posted plenty of precious new father-daughter photos.

They did not take a photo at every opportunity — they were too busy enjoying each other’s company.

But they posted plenty. And they shared messages with fans.

Jon Gosselin even shared a message with fans, prefacing the video with:

“Thank you to everyone for all the love and support this week!!! Hannah and I forgot to take a pic.”

Totally understandable. Like we said, they were enjoying each other’s company.

“She is doing her in video @itsmehjg check it out!!!”

It is always sweet to see family supporting each other on social media.

“Have awesome Holiday, Happy Memorial Day and let’s get summer started!!!! Thanks again!”

That was a good preface.

During Jon Gosselin’s actual post, he says:

“I’d like to thank everyone for their love and support during this week.”

Fans were, of course, absolutely overjoyed to see so many happy photos of father-daughter time.

“Obviously, you know the situation.”

He refers, of course, to his very complicated and unhappy custody situation with his absolute nightmare of an ex-wife, Kate Gosselin.

“If you don’t know the situation you should get together with a friend or anyone who understands the situation.”

In other words, he’s not going to say that she’s the worst because he wants to keep things publicly amicable so that he can see his kids.

But if you ask a friend, they’ll tell you what’s up.

“But I want to say Happy Memorial Day, good luck to everyone and have a safe and happy weekend.”

We’re sure that he has been treasuring his moments with his daughter.

As was mentioned, Hannah did share her own video on social media … though it is not currently present on her Instagram page.

“Hey daddy, I just wanted to say I had so much fun this week posting all the pictures.”

That is so sweet of her. She’s 14 and giving her dad a shoutout on social media.

Plenty of teens would not do the same, to be honest. (That’s okay, though)

“And I wanted to thank everyone for the love and support.”

Which means that she saw some of those comments, too. Or at least heard about them.

“So go watch my dad’s video!”

Awww!

We don’t know the exact parameters of their extended visits with each other, save that it involved a road trip and, of course, seeing Collin.

We know, of course, that Jon isn’t going to win any Father of the Year awards any time soon.

But considering that Kate is the alternative, we’re sure that Hannah very much enjoyed her daddy-daughter time.

Fans enjoyed these precious pics, and we hope to see more like them in the near future.

Perhaps Jon will get to spend some time with his six other children?

For his sake, but also for the sake of the kids. They deserve a break.

Jon Gosselin Shares Rare Photo of Son, Raises Many Questions

Did Jon Gosselin just hurl some very passive aggressive shade in the direction of his ex-wife?

Or did the controversial former reality star simply give fans an update for which they’ve been clamoring?

These questions have been raised and are now being debated by social media users across the Internet after Gosselin posted a photo on Instagram of his son Collin.

He did so in celebration of the young man turning 14 years old.

“Glad I could celebrate my son Collin’s 14th birthday with him and his sister!” wrote Jon as a caption to the image below, which has generated its fair share of chatter in response.

For what reason?

Jon and Kate Gosselin have seemingly gone out of their way to hide Collin from the public for a very long time now.

Kate has even gotten into a great deal of hot water over sharing many pictures of her other seven kids, and even throwing them parties, without including Collin.

Moreover, neither Jon nor Kate ever really mention Collin at all.

The latter has even been accused of lying about her child’s whereabouts.

In September of 2016, a letter Kate penned to Collin from her memoir went viral.

In this message, Kate revealed that he was being sent away to the program for children with special needs.

She said at the time that her won was “sweet, kind and helpful” but tended to act out, explaining as follows:

“As you have grown, however, I must say you have also challenged my authority greatly.

At two and a half, you began testing and trying my parenting at every chance. I called Daddy at work many days crying because you would not obey…

“As you have grown, this has not changed. You continue to be determined to do what you want to do, and I continue to try to rein you in.”

Needless to say, Gosselin earned some major backlash for taking such issues and complaints public.

So we’re at least very happy here to see that Collin appears to be happy and healthy.

We’re left to wonder, though, just why Jon posted this image.

Is he shading Kate, using Collin against her in some way to prove that he cares more about the child than Kate has appeared to.

This Instagram snapshot, after all, was published just days after a report that detailed how Jon and Kate still hate each other. A lot.

It also came on the heels of Jon sharing an image of himself and daughter Hannah, making it look for once as if he’s actually a caring dad.

“I don’t know what’s going on. The whole point is I’m left in the dark. There’s no explanation. It’s disheartening,” Jon told Us Weekly in Januaey of 2016, adding:

“I don’t ever see Collin, ever. Not off the bus because he doesn’t go to school. Not at the gate because he doesn’t come down. Nothing.

“I am totally estranged from Collin because of Kate.”

Will the feud between these two ever end?

It doesn’t seem that way.

In honor of her sextuplets turnign 14 last week, Kate wrote the following:

Happy 14th Birthday, my ‘babies’. 14 years ago almost to the minute, I was in my wheelchair, making my way around the ENTIRE NICU, meeting each of you face to face for the very first time.

I’ll never forget how tiny yet perfect each of you were.

I’ll never forget our first ‘birth day’ together……this day remains one of the best in my life…. and 14 years later, I love you 400 times as much, if that’s even possible! H

appy birthday, my babies! Here’s to many more birthdays together!!

We wish these exes could work out their issues in private, but that has never been their way.

Kate has even signed on to star in a new TLC dating show, which at least a few people out there will probably watch for some reason.

Overall, however, we simply wish the best for Collin and all his siblings.

May they find peace amidst their parents’ never-ending war.

Kate and Jon Gosselin: Yup, They STILL Hate Each Other!

According to an old adage, time heals all wounds.

According to Kate Gosselin and Jon Gosselin, however, well…

… the other person just sucks so very much that the wounds of their failed marriage and their doomed relationship will only grow worse and worse as time goes on.

The ex-couple got divorced WAY back in 2009, yet going their separate ways did little to each the tension between these parents of eight.

As recently as this past November, we documented how the stage may be set for an explosive custody battle between the D-Listers, just a few months after they engaged in a very ugly actual fight.

In August of 2017, Kate and Jon got into a heated argument over who would drive their daughter home from the orthodontist, with poor Hannah literally stuck in between.

At the time, In Touch Weekly wrote that the teenager “screamed, sobbed, and violently resisted” while Kate grabbed a hold of her arm and tried to force her out of the vehicle.

How awful, right?

And how confusing and disturbing, right?

That two people who were once married and in love and who now must serve as co-parents can STILL get into this sort serious tiff all these years later?

On the occasion of their sextuplets turning 14 on Thursday, both Jon and Kate wished their kids a happy birthday.

But an insider told Entertainment Tonight that Jon and Kate are “still at odds,” nearly a decade after their legal break-up.

“They will never agree about how to raise the children,” the source explains, adding that the pair “absolutely despise one another and can’t stand to even be in the same room.”

As a result, the ex-spouses won’t be celebrating Collin, Hannah, Joel, Alexis, Leah and Aaden’s birthday together – but they each acknowledged the milestone on Instagram.

“Happy 14th Birthday to Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Joel, Aaden and Collin!!! I can’t believe it’s been this long!!!” wrote Jon, adding:

“Whew that when fast!!! Daddy loves you all very much!!!”

Not according to his twins, Jon doesn’t.

But anyway…

Kate, who will soon start dating in front of reality TV cameras, shared the above birthday cake photo.

She included with it a lengthy caption that reads:

It really is an awful shame that Kate and Jon cannot be remotely amicable in front of their kids.

How hard would it be to put on fake smiles and co-host a birthday party for their teenages, right?

Very hard, apparently.

The best we can hope for at this point is that each keeps his or her feelings to him or herself when around the children and doesn’t actually bad mouth Mom or Dad when alone with the children.

But knowing Kate and Jon as we sort of do, this seems like too much to ask for.

Kate Gosselin Baits Fans, Leaves Collin Out of Early Birthday Pic

Last year, Kate Gosselin wasn’t shy about the fact that five of her sextuplets celebrated their birthday without Collin.

Kate has been beyond vague about his “treatment program” for alleged “special needs” that has kept him away from his siblings for years.

Now, as her children turn 14, Collin is nowhere to be found. But Kate seems to be trying to hide that fact.

In the captions of this photo, Kate writes:

“Rainy day ice cream. … #HowAreMyBabiesTurning14?”

Kate and John’s sextuplets will turn 14 on Thursday, May 10.

“#LoveThemAll (even the ones who refused to be in the pic)”

Despite a caption that many saw as almost begging for questions about Collin Gosselin, some commenters glossed over his absence from the photo to fawn over kate.

Others just ignored all of that to make simple, positive posts.

“WOW! 14 already?! They have grown so quickly.”

A number of Kate’s harshest critics noticed Collin’s absence and spoke up.

“This lady is evil all she cares about is herself, fame and having everything her way.”

That is a common characterization of Kate.

“She did it again, wanted to get people attention and got it.”

This comment seems to refer to her highlighting Collin’s absence, which people see as a (successful) strategy for getting a lot of Instagram interactions.

“FREE COLLIN!!!!!!!!!”

Some fear the worst for the poor boy.

“Collin could be away in some dungeon for all [fans] know.”

Others expressed disgust with Kate for shipping him off.

“Sick that she as a parent wouldn’t want to learn how to deal with any issues. I did. Rather have my children where they feel loved and part of the family no matter what. Families do that.”

Others would at least like an explanation.

“She could let the public know how he is doing. The saddest thing to me is that the dad to my knowledge has no contact with Collin. I don’t understand why he cannot take legal action to get to see his son.”

Others were more charitable in their view of Kate and even spoke in her defense.

“Poor Collin.. I know he’s getting help and she’s doing what she needs to do to be a good mom. I just feel bad he can’t celebrate his birthdays with his siblings.”

One person thinks that Kate is right to be so cryptic about Collin.

“When Kate (and Collin) are ready to let fans of Kate Plus 8 know more about their situation, they’ll do so. Not before, not for the sake of your curiosity or even your concern.”

Fans with comments like this should probably remember that Collin likely won’t be free to speak his mind. That’s for another four years.

When fans say that, they should remember that four years isn’t an inconvenience — that is a massive chunk of a teenager’s life.

The Kate apologists continued to post, and some got very defensive.

“She posted a pic of her children who I believe she loves greatly. I don’t believe he was ‘kicked out’ and all I am saying is stop asking where Colin is every time she posts something.”

That person doesn’t think that people should even ask? About the whereabouts and well-being of a minor?

Other fans were weirded out by that assertion.

“I think it’s should be ok to ask where Colin is people who has watched the show from the beginning, [they] are just curious.”

Yep.

“I find it sad how some of Kate’s fans are telling other Kate fans to stop talking about Collin. It’s been 3 years since he’s been gone and nothing from Kate. Now before you bring up the privacy argument,simply telling fans that hes home is not exposing details about anything.”

Many feel that such a level of privacy — where someone can just disappear for years without explanation — goes out the window when you use your children as props to become reality stars.

Other commenters decided to try to steer away from the Collin discussion, writing:

“I’m sure Kate is referring to the twins not wanting to be in the picture.”

Sure.

What may be our favorite comment was this one:

“Shouldn’t be Kate +7.”

It’s hard to tell if this person is saying that Collin should be there, or if they mean shouldn’t it, suggesting that the show’s name should be changed for accuracy.

Gosselin Twins to Jon: You Don"t Love Us!

DISCLAIMER:

We’re very sorry that the Gosselin family is back in the news.

Trust us, we wish this were not the case and that you never had to read about Kate or Jon ever again.

But Kate Gosselin has actually signed on to anchor her very own dating show, and she’s agreed to a deal with People Magazine to promote said show.

As part of this deal, the publication actually spoke on record to 17-year old twins Mady and Cara, about whom Kate recently said the following when it comes to her love life:

“Now that they’re older and talking about dating and how they’re all gonna get married someday … it became apparent: they want someone for me.

“They want me to have somebody in my life.”

Along these lines, except the exact opposite, Mady and Cara have opened up to People and said some rather harsh things about their dad.

Specifically, they claim that Jon Gosselin is NOT a person who is currently in their life.

“He makes it seem like we’re being kept from him, which is insane,” Mady says, adding:

“He should maybe spend some time thinking about why we don’t want to see him, and maybe realize that if he ever does want a relationship with us, talking about us on TV is not the way to make that happen.”

Wow, huh? Ouch!

Back in November, we reported that Jon was going to fight for custody of his children.

But take one look at his Instagram page and you may not even realize he has children, considering the entire thing is practically filled with nothing but posters such as the one above.

That is, ads for Jon’s appearances at various clubs that have hired him as a DJ for some reason.

“He doesn’t even know us,” Mady also tells People. “How can he dare to talk about us?

This is the harshest and most straightforward we’ve ever heard any Gosselin kids speak about their father.

Jon did wish his twins a happy 17th birthday six months ago, but that was the last reference he made to them on social media.

Kate and Jon rose to fame well over a decade ago as the leads of Jon & Kate Plus 8.

They surprised absolutely no one who watched their painful marriage on television when they announced their separation in 2009.

Since then, Jon has focused on his DJing career, while battling Kate for custody of the twins and sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Leah and Joel, who turn 14 next month.

However, in August of 2016, Mady and Cara said that they weren’t speaking to their dad, who had given interviews to some media outlets about his strained relationship with his daughters.

Of course, Kate has also discussed her kids often in public.

This right here is a photo of them on the set of The View.

But one big difference, it seems, is that Kate hasn’t bad-mouthed her sons or daughters.

She hasn’t blamed them for any kind of poor relationship and she has seemingly always asked for their permission any time they were placed in the spotlight.

Don’t get us wrong, Kate Gosselin sucks a whole lot, too.

We aren’t very big fans of her and we’d rather watch Chrisley Knows Best over her ridiculous upcoming dating show

But she does seem to at least know the names of all her children.

We’re not entirely sure the same thing can be said of Jon.

Kate Gosselin to Star in New Dating Show (You Can Guess the Title, Right?)

Kate Gosselin rose to fame by starring in a reality show that focused on the significant number of children who emanated from her vagina.

Now, according to a report we did not see coming, the mother of eight will star in a reality show that focuses on various men hoping to find their way into her vagina.

If you know what we mean!

What we mean is this:

Kate Gosselin is about to anchor a brand new series on TLC.

The program will be titled Kate Plus Date (because of course it will) and it will chronicle Gosselin’s attempt to find a man that actually wants to be her boyfriend.

“I’m nervous, I’m excited, and I’m forcing myself to do this,” Gosselin told People Magazine of the upcoming docuseries.

Gosselin, of course, became somewhat of a household name after appearing opposite then-husband Jon on Jon & Kate Plus 8, because the parents had one set of twins and one set of sextuplets.

The couple then got divorced after a decade of marriage and TLC aired a few seasons of Kate Plus 8.

Incredibly, twins Mady and Cara are both 17 years old now and will soon go off to college, leaving Gosselin at home with 13-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Alexis, Hannah and Leah.

(Collin is enrolled in a program away from home to help him reach his full potential, the details of which Jon and Kate prefer to keep to themselves.)

“As we’re talking about Mady and Cara going off to college which is becoming more and more of a reality, it’s gonna happen, it almost became like a worry for them, too, like ‘Mommy, you’re gonna be all alone soon,’ ” claims Gosselin, who adds:

“It was very apparent, now that they’re older and talking about dating and how they’re all gonna get married someday … it became apparent: they want someone for me.

“They want me to have somebody in my life.”

This may be true.

It doesn’t explain why Gosselin has to go in front of the camera once again, however.

We’re pretty sure she could go swipe right or left on Tinder right now and fulfill the wishes of her kids.

Kate, who some say is broke and could likely use the salary a new show will provide, admits that her life is “complicated,” but that won’t stop her from jumping into the dating pool with both feet.

“I want someone with a set career, who is confident,” she explains.

“A grown-up with their own life, their own agenda, who knows who they are. If someone travels for work, that would be great, because I’m used to being on my own and being self-sufficient.”

Kate Plus Date will premiere some time this fall on TLC.

It doesn’t sound as though it will touch upon her issues with Jon, but rather on the man who may become the next Jon. (Poor guy.)

And Gosselin knows of one qualification he must possess:

He absolutely must love dogs.

“That is such a deal-breaker,” says Gosselin. “People disappoint you, but your dogs never will.”

Kate Gosselin: Under Fire for Dog-Daughter Kissing Photo (Yes, For Real!)

With apologies to Donald Trump and Jenelle Evans, Kate Gosselin may be the most hated person in America.

We aren’t exactly fans of the reality star and multiple-time mother, but the grief Gosselin often faces online has built to such an extreme that we almost feel badly for her.

Almost, we said.

Let’s not get carried away here.

Over the past few months, Gosselin has shared a number of photos online that has resulted in her getting dragged left and right on social media.

There was the time she posted a throwback picture of her twins in celebration of their birthday, for instance, only for haters to label Mady and Cara as “mean” and “entitled.”

There was also the time she shared a seemingly innocent picture of her kids on Halloween, only for haters to wonder about the absence of Collin.

(Neither Kate nor ex-husband Jon have provided any detail on the location or status of 13-year old Collin, who is enrolled in a program away from home for behavioral issues.)

However, this latest Kate Gosselin-related scandal may be the most ridiculous of all-time.

Any regular clicker on Gosselin’s Instagram page can vouch for this statement, as nearly every other photo is of a canine.

But that isn’t really the point at the moment.

The point, according to Internet users who just really want to be outraged over something, is that Gosselin is a bad mother because she let her kid get kissed on the mouth by a dog.

Just consider these actual comments left in response to the picture in question:

I love animals, but even doctors say don’t kiss them or let them lick you in the mouth. They put their noses and mouths everywhere we don’t want to know. Just saying.

For someone who was such a germaphobe, I’m surprised you allow your dogs to lick your kids mouths.

I love my fur babies but I also don’t kiss them on the mouth…. seriously. They lick their own butt….eeek.

It’s definitely clear at this point that Kate can’t win when it comes to trolls such as these.

Some people just can’t get over the way she treated her former husband or her kids on either of her reality shows.

And we get it.

Some of the stories surrounding Gosselin make her sound anything but stable.

But you’ve gotta pick your battles, people.

If you criticize absolutely everything she does, you’ll be left with nothing to say when Gosselin truly deserves your ire.

Sometimes it’s best to ignore, move on… and then really go on the offensive when Gosselin inevitably earns some Internet scorn.

Kate Gosselin: Going Broke? On Verge of Losing Kids?

According to a new report, Kate Gosselin is not enjoying a very merry Christmas.

And she may have an even worse new year.

The mother of eight (that’s still so very hard to believe… she’s a mother of EIGHT!) is allegedly suffering through some pretty severe financial hardships.

She somehow managed to convince TLC to air a new season of Kate Plus 8 this past year, but only three episodes aired over the summer.

Moreover, Gosselin does not have anywhere near the clout she once possessed.

Ratings haven’t been strong for that program for years now, meaning she couldn’t command a very high salary during recent negotiations.

Those three episodes didn’t yield Gosselin much in the way of revenue – and there are no plans, as far as we know, for any more to hit the air.

Don’t just take our word for these issues, however.

Their parents may suck, but these kids are adorable. We pray for their future.

This is what an insider recently told Life & Style:

“Kate no longer has the income she once had from the show. The money is running out fast …. Private school alone costs about $ 150,000 a year.”

Seriously, simply raising eight kids is a very expensive endeavor.

Many fans of the reality star likely aren’t even aware that Gosselin used to work as a nurse.

This has the potential to be a highly-paid occupation, but there’s one problem:

“She’s let her nursing license lapse,” the aforementioned source explains. “And she hasn’t been a nurse in so long anyway.

Not having enough money to afford basic needs for her kids is one thing; but Gosselin also now fears that her monetary situation will open the door to her actually losing her kids.

“That’s Kate’s biggest fear,” the unnamed insider alleges. “She dreads Jon will have more say and possibly even more custody which she’s fought nonstop to keep from him.”

Annoying ex-husband Jon is reportedly ready to pounce.

Said someone with knowledge of the circumstances to Hollywood Life in November:

“Jon’s one and only goal in life right now is getting more time with his kids. He’s doing everything he can to win their next custody battle.”

Indeed, things may soon get very explosive between the Gosselins.

It’s not as though they’re known for resolving disputes in an amicable and peaceful manner regardless of what’s at stake.

So you can imagine how ugly it may get when the future of their sons and daughters are up for legal debate.

Earlier this year, Jon took an IT job. He now has a steady flow of income.

Combined with Kate going in the opposite financial direction, the estranged former spouses may find themselves standing across from a judge at some point in the near future.

And, as previously reported, Jon will stop at nothing to crush his ex in court.

Kate Gosselin Dares to Share Pics of Daughters, Gets Dragged by Trolls. HARD.

Darn you, Internet.

You’ve really gone ahead and done it now.

You’ve made us feel bad for Kate Gosselin.

Over the past few weeks, hatred for the reality star and mother of eight has seemed to hit near-record numbers, as Gosselin cannot share anything online without hearing it from a bunch of trolls.

Just a few weeks ago, for example, Gosselin posted a few photos online of her kids in their Halloween costumes.

We’re pretty sure every single celebrity alive does this.

And yet followers called out Kate for the snapshots, mostly because they did not include son Collin, who has been enrolled in a program away from home for behavioral issues.

Details regarding his status remain scarce, which has prompted haters to bring up him every chance they get.

Gosselin even received backlash, as it relates to Collin, when she shared throwback photos of her twin girls on the occasion of their 17th birthday.

And now Kate has gone ahead and shared new throwback pictures, this time of daughter Alexis.

Along with the cute snapshot above, the Kate Plus 8 star wrote:

The girls and I were looking through old pics the other night together…reliving our MANY fun times over the years…

it’s cute when your teenagers screech about how cute they were and play argue over ‘who was the cutest.’

To me, they were and are all equally ‘edible’ and adorable and I told them so. They then tried to convince me to ‘eat them first’! It’s always a competition in a big family, I tell you!

Anyway, there are many, but these pics of Lex make me laugh every time I come across them! How can you not?

She’s always been the perfect dose of humor when I need it most… on this day, when she was 5, she entertained me while I showered!

Pretty basic and definitely harmless, right?

Nope, wrong apparently.

Yes, some followers showed Gosselin support and clearly appreciated this cute snapshot:

“She is so precious! Where did the time go?” asked another fan.

Others, however, definitely seemed to be focused on the wrong thing.

“Wait, you take your phone into the shower,” inquired a confused follower, while a second person chimed in with a similar take:

“You took your phone into the shower or bath? Um yeah ok kate.”

These, of course, are mostly mundane issues.

The true trolls, though, didn’t just inquire about Collin and his whereabouts.

They accused Kate of not liking her sons as much as her daughters!

For real:

Look, it takes a lot for us to be on Team Kate Gosselin.

We mostly see her as a greedy, self-serving and manipulative annoyance.

But come on now.

We’re not gonna pick on Kate just because she shares some precious pictures of her kids.

What’s the alternative? What else would she do on Instagram? Go all Kylie Jenner on us and pose nearly naked?

God forbid, right?

So you see: it could be a lot worse. Remember that.

Kate Gosselin: Leah Has No Braces AND No Collin! Hooray!

Just because Kate Gosselin had her children celebrate without Collin on Collin’s birthday doesn’t mean that she doesn’t know how to celebrate milestones for her other children.

This time, it’s Leah Gosselin who’s being celebrated, as she finally got her braces off!

And while the photos are cute, reactions in the form of Instagram comments were all over the place.

It seems that Collin Gosselin is still missing, off at some dubious institution where Kate decided that he belonged.

But Kate does have other children who, in an indictment of our society’s inability to look after the well-being of children, remain in Kate Gosselin’s custody.

There are, however, some positive moments, even in that household.

And there are things to celebrate.

In the photo below, Leah Gosselin — who, like her fellow sextuplets, turned 13 over the summer — has finally gotten her braces off.

And she’s celebrating with an array of tasty desserts … among other snacks.

See how happy she looks!

Leah’s smile is bright and celebratory!

But still not quite as happy as her smile will be when she one day escapes from her mother and never looks back.

As you can see, her teeth are no longer imprisoned by a sharp metal tooth-corset, which, having had braces when I was about her age, is how I would describe braces.

You can’t see her food choices too well in this photo, so Kate, in either a rare moment of kindness or perhaps a desperate attempt to show that she can be “nice” and “fun” sometimes, really, she promises, shared another photo.

In it, we see cake, a number of candies, and popcorn … which makes us think that Kate must have actually enforced the orthodontist’s rules about what to not eat with braces.

(When I had braces, I avoided only popcorn. Gum actually helped me adjust to having the braces, and I never had any problem with gum or anything else)

But here are the treats that Leah got to enjoy:

With both photos, Kate Gosselin included the caption:

“Somebody got their braces off today! [three grinning-face emojis] #CongratsLeah #BracesOffParty #GosselinTradition #BracesOnBracesOffConstantHere”

We’ll say this much about Kate Gosselin — having a braces-off celebration for your kids is a great idea.

That might be the only parenting advice that we’d ever take from her.

Various followers chimed in with well wishes:

“Hahaha … another constant is there’s always something to celebrate … no wonder everybody seems to be so happy …”

Instagram comments don’t  really need that many ellipses … but okay.

“That is so awesome! Kate, you’re always finding unique ways to make your kids feel special and I LOVE that! [red heart emoji]”

We weren’t the only ones who are still preoccupied by the fact that Kate decided to disappear her own child and keep him isolated from his siblings.

One commenter wrote:

“Collin doesn’t get braces.”

Point of fact, we don’t know that Collin does or does not have braces. But we don’t know because, well, he’s wherever Kate sent him off to.

Another commenter replied:

“Yeah, that poor child.”

Our only comfort is that Collin, though isolated from his siblings, is at least away from Kate.

When there’s nothing else that you can do, folks, you have to look at the bright side.
