Jeopardy Contestants Fumble Football Category, Are Huge Nerds
Before we talk (and scoff) and length about the following video, a caveat:
Jeopardy contestants are MUCH smarter than we are.
They know detailed stuff about history and the bible and current event and geography and politics and we mostly write about the latest Jenelle Evans scandals every day.
It"s a living, you know?
But, again, it"s worth mentioning: Jeopardy contestants are MUCH smarter than we are.
That said, we know more about football than at least three people who qualified for this beloved game show, all of whom were forced to answer questions about this sport during a Double Jeopardy round because all other categories had been exhausted.
And the results were not pretty.
Fewer points were scored during this segment of the show than during a typical Buffalo Bills game.
Almost, at least.
The first question, for $ 200: Your choice: Do or don"t name this place in which the QB runs the ball & can choose to pitch it to another back.
For $ 200, considering how little most Jeopardy contestants know about sports, this was actually a difficult question.
And, true to form, no one came up with the answer of the option.
For $ 400: Tom Landry perfected the shotgun formation with this team.
Anyone? Anyone at all?
Nope, no one answers The Dallas Cowboys.
"I can tell you guys are big football fans," Alex Trebek said/taunted at one point.
“Do you think we should go to commercial?” the host later asked/taunted even harder.
After the next two questions did not elicit positive answers, Trebek took the unprecedented step of asking to see the $ 1,000 question… just for the fun of it!
"If you guys ring in and get this one, I will die," the emcee remarked, prior to a clue being given about the formidable Minnesota Vikings defensive line of the 1970s.
Did anyone shock Trebek by actually coming up with the proper response?

McKayla Maroney Facing Huge Fine For Testifying Against Dr. Larry Nassar, Chrissy Teigen Offers to Pay
Even though Dr. Larry Nassar has been convicted of child porn and is accused of molesting over 140 girls, the fact remains that Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney is not exactly free to testify about his alleged crimes against her.
If she does, the non-disclosure agreement that she signed years ago would reportedly subject her to a $ 100,000 fine.
But one famous and beloved celebrity, Chrissy Teigen, is offering to foot the bill.
Back in October, McKayla Maroney courageously revealed that her team doctor had molested her when she was a minor.
All of those famous moments of her in the Olympics? Those were when she was under the power of Dr. Larry Nassar.
Nassar would allegedly give his young female patients “treatments,” using the pretense of medical care to molest them.
The abuse went on for years.
Since McKayla spoke up, numerous teammates including Gabby Douglas and Aly Raisman, have accused Dr. Nassar of similar, heinous abuse.
All told, the number of women who accuse Larry Nassar of sexual abuse number over 140.
Early Tuesday morning, The Daily Mail published that McKayla Maroney is effectively barred from testifying at Dr. Larry Nassar’s sentencing.
To be clear, though he has confessed to a “small” number of sex abuse charges …
(Small only in contrast to the volume of his accusers)
… Dr. Nassar’s sentence of 60 years in prison came from his possession of a truly alarming volume of child pornography.
Dozens of women are scheduled to speak at Nassar’s sentencing, but McKayla Maroney may be barred from giving her own victim impact statement.
We know that this is strange, since McKayla shared her story in a very public manner, months ago.
McKayla is currently suing USA Gymnastics, accusing them of knowing about Dr. Nassar and covering up his crimes (presumably to protect themselves from sharing in the blame).
Oh boy, has that not gone well.
What led to McKayla signing the NDA in the first place was desperation. She was suffering psychological problems as a result of years of trauma from sexual abuse. Unfortunately, receiving her much-needed treatment costs money.
But there are multiple legal challenges to NDAs, particularly when such an agreement appears to exist in order to cover up a crime. We’ll see how that goes.
In the mean time, McKayla is a successful Olympian, but probably not in a position where she could just pay $ 100,000 like it’s a parking ticket.
In the mean time, however, there’s a much more direct and simple solution to McKayla Maroney’s dilemma.
Chrissy Teigen shared the article about how she might be fined, and tweeted:
“The entire principle of this should be fought – an NDA to stay quiet about this serial monster with over 140 accusers, but I would be absolutely honored to pay this fine for you, McKayla.”
That’s such a good move and a very generous offer.
$ 100,000 is a lot of money, but Chrissy Teigen can definitely make good on it, even if you don’t factor in that her husband is John Legend.
But hopefully she won’t have to.
There’s bad press, and then there’s millionaire celebrities had to step in because of our NDA that protects a serial sexual predator bad press.
USA Gymnastics would be smart to wave the NDA. It would make them look better. (Remember how celebrities spoke out, with some like Taylor Swift writing checks, in defense of Kesha? Even Sony was feeling the pressure. That can happen for USA Gymnastics, too)
As of yet, we haven’t seen a public response from McKayla, who seems to no longer be on Twitter and Instagram. (Which we absolutely understand)

Taylor Swift: Boob Job Rumors Resurface Due to Suddenly Huge Boobs
It’s been an interesting 12 months in the life of Taylor Swift.
A comprehensive year-in-review for the singer would touch on everything from her intensifited celebrity feuds to the alleged connections between Taylor and Donald Trump to the shocking death of the Old Taylor.
But today, we’ll focus exclusively on two issues of growing importance to both Swift and her fan base.
We’re talking, of course, about Taylor Swift’s boobs.
Fans and certain media outlets are convinced that Taylor’s had work done thanks to recent photos that show the pop star looking somewhat bustier than usual.
If you like to keep abreast (tee-hee) of the latest rumors surrounding Swift, then you’re probably aware that this is nothing new.
Taylor boob job rumors seem to surface about once a month, but we can’t recall a time in which they’ve been voiced with such certainty.
“Taylor’s boobs look huge,” TMZ stated bluntly this week.
“I must have missed something when did Taylor Swift grow boobs?” one fan commented in response to the same photos.
But perhaps no one has gone to creepier lengths to figure out exactly what’s going on in Taylor’s bra than the ever-unscrupulous folks at Page Six.
The outlet went so far as to recruit thw world’s bro-iest plastic surgeon in order to assess photos of Taylor and offer his opinion on whether or not she’s undergone breast augmentation.
After presumably offering a round of fist bumps and a protracted “niiiiice,” Dr. Matthew Schulman concluded that Taylor totslly probably had ber boobs done.
“[Taylor] has always had a very petite chest but recent photos seem to show a fuller chest and more cleavage,” he told Page Six.
“We know that Taylor has a friendship with many Victoria’s Secret models, so it is possible that she is rocking a new bra.”
Clearly, Dr. Schulman is a true professional.
We all know that familiar moment during any check-up when your doctor days, “Giiiiiirl, I know who you’ve been hanging out with!”
As far as we can tell, there’s a whole cottage industry of plastic surgeons who rarely perform any procedures and spend most of their time offering insights on the changing appearances of celebrities.
And since a “yeah, she looks about the same” quote probably won’t get printed, their professional opinions tend to run toward the scandalous.
As for whether or not Taylor really went under the knife, our wholly unprofessional opinion is that she did not.
The woman’s been in the public eye long enough to know such a change wouldn’t go unnoticed, and she’s secure enough in herself that we feel like she would just come out and admit it.
Plus, she runs with that whole Victoria’s Secret crowd, which means she has access to boob-enhancing technology that won’t be made available to the rest of the world for several decades.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta: New, HUGE Salaries Revealed!

It pays… and it pays big time.
According to Radar Online, most cast members on The Real Housewives of Atlanta received hefty raises ahead of the ongoing 10th season.
The ladies were in a strong position to negotiate, considering they star on the highest-rated installment of this beloved franchise.
So… who now earns what?
Which polarizing personality received the biggest pay bump of all?
Let’s find out, shall we?
An insider tells Radar that Cynthia Bailey was the lucky recipient of the most impressive raise, as she now earns $ 1.6 million per season, an increase of $ 400,000 from what she took home last year.
Elsewhere, Kandi Burruss is already the richest Housewife in Atlanta.
But she still managed to talk her way into a $ 200,000 raise; she’s making an even $ 2 million for Season 10.
Then there’s Kenya Moore, who actually risked her franchise future by getting married in secret over the summer.
There was talk that the move would get her fired (because Kenya did not permit network cameras to film the ceremony), but Radar writes Moore did receive a $ 100,000 raise to $ 1.5 million fo Season 10.
However, she was fined $ 25,000 for the wedding fiasco and was banned from a trip the show took to Spain.
What about Sheree Whitfield? Who has actually confessed to dating a prisoner that stole $ 5 million from his victims?
This report claims she is making $ 1 million for the new season, up from $ 800,000 for last season.
The youngest cast member, Porsha Williams, earns the last amount of money… but is still doing darn well for herself.
She went from $ 700,000 last year to $ 800,000 for Season 10, which ain’t too shabby when her job basically just calls for fights with Kim Zolciak.
Finally, we arrive at NeNe Leakes.
The long-time cast member left the franchise for awhile and found some success in the acting realm.
But can you really blame her for returning, considering Radar reports she’s pulling in $ 2.5 million for just these handful of Season 10 episodes?!?
The Real Housewives of Atlanta came back with new installments in early November.
To date, the season has focused on Kenya’s surprise marriage, along with Porsha going on some dates and a whole lot of fighting.
But what else would you expect from these women, right?
