Jana Duggar & Jacob Wilson: Courting?!

Another day, another Jana Duggar courtship rumor.

That sounds like a figure of speech, but at this point, it’s an almost-literal description of the media scrutiny surrounding Jana’s love life.

Just yesterday – yesterday! – sources claimed that Jana was courting Caleb Williams, a longtime family friend with whom she’s reportedly bee spending a lot of time in recent weeks.

Today, a new suitor has emerged, and once again, the Duggar faithful are convinced that wedding bells will soon be ringing for Jana.

As with Williams, the evidence of a romance between Jana and Jacob Wilson is flimsy at best, but we’ll present it to you, the jury, nonetheless:

Fans who print out every photo that the Duggars post on social media and examine them under a microscope have discovered that Williams has been lingering in the background of many Duggar family photos lately.

Now, there could be a very simple explanation for this:

Jacob is the son of Clark Wilson, a longtime friend of the Duggars, who helped build the 7,000-square-foot compound they call home.

The Duggars maintain close ties with a number of families who share their fundamentalist views, and they often regard these like-minded clans as a part of an extended family unted not by blood, but by a shared worldview.

But even though they’re raised to think of one another almost as siblings, all Duggar children are still encouraged to consider these fellow fundies first when seeking out breeding partners.

(Draw whatever conclusions you’d like about how these seemingly contradictory messages might have contributed to the circumstances surrounding the Josh Duggar sex scandals.)

“Him and Jana would make beautiful babies,” commented one fan on a recent photo.

Others pointed out that as a hunter, avid fisherman, and volunteer firefighter, Jacob meets Jana’s requirements for a man who likes to “get his hands dirty.”

He’s also training to be an EMT, and he recently traveled to Texas and volunteered to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Sounds like a catch.

Unfrotunately, Jim Bob might take issue with the fact that Jacob most definitely does not share the Duggars views on the importance of “modest attire.”

It may seem like a minor point of contention, but sources say Jim Bob has been clashing with his sons-in-law quite frequently in recent months, primarily because they don’t share his views on certain religious doctrines.

Once Duggar women are married, it’s their husbands, not their fathers who determine their code of conduct.

Insiders say Jim Bob is deeply humiliated by the fact that Jinger Duggar has been wearing shorts since marrying Jeremy Vuolo, and he’s likely determined to avoid any further humiliation.

Of course, we’re probably getting way ahead of ourselves here, as in all likelihood, Jana and Jacob are not courting.

Although it’s worth noting that he is rocking a “J” name.

Bonus points for that.

Jacob Roloff Shares New Nephew Photo, Possibly Hints at Little People, Big World Return

Jacob Roloff continues to give fans a reason to believe.

As veteran Little People, Big World viewers are well aware of, Roloff quit his family’s long-running TLC reality series last summer.

Moreover, he did so in grandiose fashion.

The 20-year old told Instagram followers at the time that he simply couldn’t continue to be part of a program that scripted so many scenes and storylines.

It was all fake, Roloff wrote. It was all phony. It was all “ridiculous,” the “talking points” producers were asking he and his relatives to spout each week.

“They are the Roloff Characters and I have scarcely anything in common with them, nor do I want to be a character myself,” Roloff said on his way out.

And Jacob then stuck to his word.

He hasn’t appeared on a Little People, Big World episode since.

But he has (implicitly, perhaps) dropped various hints over the past several weeks about a return to the small screen.

Has Roloff come out and said he wants back in? No.

But look at the picture at the outset of this article. It’s the latest example of Jacob publicizing how he’s back on great terms with his loved ones.

“I looooove this kid #babyjroloff,” Jacob wrote as a caption to the image of himself and his nephew, Jackson Kyle.

That’s all Roloff wrote, but plenty of followers are reading heavily into it.

After shunning his family for so long, Jacob is now back in their good graces. Big time.

He played a key and helpful role in Molly Roloff’s wedding, for example, an event at which TLC cameras were on hand.

“Jacob drove Molly and her bridal party around in the mule and the cameras were right on them,” an insider explained to Radar Online this summer, saying it “would be impossible” to edit him out of the footage.

In other words: Jacob will likely make at least one cameo on Little People, Big World this fall when the network airs its Molly wedding special.

And it doesn’t sound as though Jacob will mind.

This past June, Jacob addressed his outburst against the series and his family a year prior and admitted he caused some “strife” by doing so.

“I said inflammatory things. Even as I said those things, I would admit that in about a year, I’d probably regret some of this,” Jacob said two months ago.

How does he feel about his actions now, upon a lot of reflection?

“I left the show and I left the religion I was brought up with, and I left it in a pretty flamboyant way,” he added, concluding simply:

“I grew up.”

It sounds to us as if Jacob will at least be seen again on Little People, Big World.

As a series regular? Maybe not.

But we’ll take whatever we can get at this point!

Jacob Roloff Thanks Fans, Teases New Project

Will he or won’t he?

This is the question that’s been surrounding Jacob Roloff for several weeks now, or at least the first part of it.

The full question would read as follows: Will he or won’t he return to Little People, Big World this fall?

Jacob, of course, walked away from this TLC reality show last summer, slamming both storylines and members of his own family as fake and scripted in the process.

But he’s since acknowledged that he simply needed to grow up a bit, taking responsibility for his words and actions and improving his relationship with those same family members in the process.

Over the past couple months, Jacob has been spending a lot of time at his dad’s farm in Oregon, while also sharing many photos of his nephew on Instagram.

Jacob was also an enthusiastic and helpful guest at sister Molly’s wedding in early August.

These changes have sparked speculation amidst Little People, Big World viewers who really want to see Jacob back on their favorite show.

We don’t know for certain if that will ever happen.

But we do know Jacob as a different sort of project on tap.

“I am working on book #2, which will be titled Out To See and coming soon,” he recently announced on Instagram.

The book will serve as a follow-up to “Verbing,” which Roloff released this summer for just $ 5 on Etsy.

At the time of said release, Jacob described this first effort as a memoir of sorts, a collection of his thoughts and beliefs after nearly a year of traveling the country with his girlfriend and dogs.

“It has been really exciting getting feedback, and immediately working to make the next one better (and longer),” Jacob said on social media.

Making a point to thank everyone who “read and bought” his first book, Jacob went on to include an excerpt from his next one.

It reads as follows:

I allowed myself to be in such a frustrated state of mind for a long time, until hitting a wall of reason knowing that there must be another way.

I retreated just a little bit further into seclusion with books, and cultivation of intellect and mind. These too, I have learned, are just tools.

Tools for finding a sense of self, love, and respect for others, and appreciation for reality – which you then realize has been there all along, waiting, whereafter you can cease cultivation and enjoy the dance of the moment.

This is clearly an introspective and profound individual.

He’s also someone who is so very much in love!

“The most thanks to this lady for helping me in every way and reading and rereading endlessly to check for errors,”Jacob wrote of his long-time girlfriend late last month, adding:

“And for her support. Izzy Sofia Rock deGarretón, I love you a lot.”

Just how much?

Based on a mysterious Instagram post Izzy shared a few days ago, perhaps to the moon and back?

We think Jacob may have asked her to marry him.

That’s just a rumor, however.

The upcoming Jacob Roloff memoir is a fact.

Did you purchase the first one? Will you purchase the next one?

Let us know!

Jacob Roloff: Why Is His Girlfriend Leaving Social Media?!?

Isabel Rock has people talking.

And wondering.

And asking many, many questions.

This is the first question you may be asking:

Who is Isabel Rock?

She’s the girlfriend of Jacob Roloff, the former Little People, Big World cast member who quit the TLC reality show last summer amidst allegations that the show is phony and scripted.

Over the past year or so, Rock and Roloff have been on a constant road trip, traveling along the Pacific Northwest with their two dogs.

Which brings us to Friday and Isabel’s mysterious Instagram post. It opened as follows:

“Have you ever been faced with a life changing decision? If you choose one way, your life will change drastically.. but if you choose another, your life will also change drastically,” she wrote.

Rock went on to ponder: But which one is the ‘right’ one?!

To what could Rock be referring?

A marriage proposal, perhaps?!?

“You’ve prayed, you have weighed the pros and cons. Still, your mind says one thing and your heart says another,” wrote Rock, adding:

“I know, FOLLOW YOUR HEART. My heart is always going to tell me to be free, be somebody who can always move with the wind, never tie yourself down because it’s just not you. Ah, it’s a tough call I am going to have to make.”

Tie yourself down, huh?

This sounds very much like Jacob asked for her hand in marriage. But that’s merely a guess on our part.”

“I have to decide what my future will look like. It’s the 1st of September. A fresh start. I think I’m going to start it with a social media break,” concluded Isabel.

“Because, well, let’s face it… Scrolling my Instagram feed is not helping me any right now. So, send good thoughts my way as I try to navigate this next season of life.”

Perplexing, isn’t it?

Isabel and Jacob often include photos of each other on their social media feeds. But they rarely discuss their romance in public.

It’s also possible Roloff wants to return to Little People, Big World and Isabel wants no part of the series.

Only time will tell, we suppose.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t hypothesize! Sound off below with your best guess now regarding what the heck Rock is talking about!

A Woman, A Dog and the Reason Why Jacob Roloff May Return to Television

As previously noted in adorable detail, Amy Roloff recently got to enjoy some “Grandma Time” with her first grandson.

The Little People, Big World matriarch shared a new photo of herself and little baby Jackson and followers rightfully cooed and cheered the precious image.

Now, however, Amy has posted a picture that includes a different sort of important family member…

… and which has fans buzzing.

The Instagram image features Roloff on her farm in Oregon, standing on her deck and acting all playful with her son’s canine.

“Love this ‘pup’. Jacob’s dog Luna gives me a ‘kiss’ each time she sees me,” wrote the reality star as a caption, adding the hashtags:

#secondact #loverescuedogs #somelunalove.

What’s the big deal? Why such furious commenting and speculating from TLC viewers over a seemingly simple snapshot?

Because it means Jacob Roloff was recently spending time with his family, which is once again spurring rumors that he could return to Little People, Big World.

Jacob quit the reality show just over a year ago.

And he seemed to burn every possible bridge on his way out, slamming producers and even close family members as fake and phony.

In July of last year, Roloff wrote that he’s seen “storylines drawn up,” accusing the series of being scripted and writing of the way his relatives were depicted:

“The family that is filmed is not my family… They are the Roloff Characters and I have scarcely anything in common with them, nor do I want to be a character myself.”

True to his word, Jacob left the show and has dedicated the past several months to driving around the Pacific Northwest with his girlfriend and their two dogs.

But he’s backed off his assessment a bit of late, even acknowledging that he’s done a lot of growing up since last summer and making a point to see his family more often.

We can confirm, for example, that he played a key role in Molly Roloff’s wedding just two weeks ago, posing with the bride (below) and also helping to set up.

Does this mean Jacob would return to the program as a full-time cast member?

We likely shouldn’t count on it.

But fans of Amy are proud of the way she handled the temporary tiff with her child.

“When things were tough between you and Jacob, you remained strong and NEVER spoke out in a negative way about or towards him,” read one comment on the photo above.

“What an amazing example of unconditional love and how to be the amazing mother we all have grown to love!

“I was and am SO impressed with your positive attitude and complete faith that he would come back into the family fold.”

Amy was flattered by this remark and by others of similar nature, but she also wanted to make it clear that Jacob hasn’t really been estranged from his parents or siblings.

“He’s always been around – except when he was living in Cali – just not on the show the last couple of seasons,” she wrote on her own Instagram page in response to a few questions about Jacob.

Ever since Molly’s wedding, Roloff family members have shared numerous images that depict Jacob’s presence in their lives.

Matt, for example, referred to his son the “coolest and best-read” man on the farm, while brother Jeremy told Little People, Big World fans that Jacob is a “smart dude with a good heart.”

The beloved reality show returns for Season 14 in September.

We’ll certainly be tuning in to see if Jacob shows up.

How about you?!?

Jacob Roloff: Little People, Big World is SO FAKE!

Jacob Roloff is not a huge fan of Little People, Big World.

We know that because he’s made it ridiculously, astoundingly clear ever since he quit the show.

Jacob dislikes his family’s show so much that after he quit, he also cut contact with his parents and his siblings for a long time.

Thankfully, he’s mended his relationships with the rest of the Roloffs — he’s said as much, and we know it for sure thanks to his adorable presence at Molly’s wedding last weekend.

But still, his hatred for the show remains.

In some new excerpts from his very first book, Verbing, he explains some of the issues he has with Little People, Big World.

In one section, he writes “The first few years of doing this show were pretty alright, just a few (dozen) extra people around the house and farm.”

“The actual filming in that beginning period was subject to the events unfolding, that is, something happened then the cameras came running.”

But then, “After the few first years of testing the waters, the whole process did a sort of flip where events became subject to the filming, that is, became more orchestrated than spontaneous, in a weird indistinguishable mix.”

“That phase went on for a while, too, until turning into the dominantly orchestrated ordeal it is today.”

This part isn’t really anything we haven’t heard before — we know his main issue with the show is that he believes it’s too staged.

He feels so strongly about the issue that in a rant he made on Instagram last year, he even said that “The family that is filmed is not my family.”

They are the Roloff Characters and I have scarcely anything in common with them, nor do I want to be a character myself.”

But in these new excerpts from Jacob’s book, he delves a little deeper into the issue.

“Chief and simply, it forced me to grow up faster than normal (whatever a normal rate may be),” he writes.

“Doing on the fly interviews and formal ones alike forced me to answer certain questions about myself, my family and my life that I normally might not have wondered about for some years.”

Sounds pretty tough, right? Especially when you think about how young Jacob was when he was on the show.

“One the one hand,” he explains, “I’m stuck in front of a lens, symbolizing the millions of people that watch(ed) our show, left to my own devices of coping and getting attention that usually panned out great for The Brass in L.A.”

“On the other hand, instantly, it forced me to evolve mentally way faster than I would have, I think, under circumstances of less pressure.”

So it sounds like he’s coming to terms with the whole thing — and thank goodness, right?

And Jacob is only 20 years old, so he has plenty of time to process how weird it must have been to grow up on a reality show.

Will you be picking up his book?

Jacob Roloff to Make Little People, Big World Return?!?

Jacob Roloff didn’t merely quit Little People, Big World in the summer of 2016.

He did so in epic fashion.

The 20-year old son of Amy and Matt Roloff resigned from his family’s reality show via an Instagram rant that slammed pretty much everyone involved in it.

“For the sake of ‘the episode’ and ratings I’ve seen a lot of STORYLINES drawn up (loosely) about our lives,” Roloff wrote just over a year ago, exposing the series as scripted and phony.

This is the case for every reality show out there, of course, but you rarely hear anyone at the center of it cop to such staged nonsense.

“The family that is filmed is not my family,” Jacob said defiantly, concluding at the time:

“They are the Roloff Characters and I have scarcely anything in common with them, nor do I want to be a character myself.”

With that, Roloff stopped removed himself from Little People, Big World.

He has spent a majority of the past few months driving around the Pacific Northwest with his girlfriend and two dogs and he’s clearly gained some perspective.

Nearly 11 months to the day since he walked away from the TLC program, Roloff spoke out on how he “rebelled” in a “flamboyant” manner last year.

Jacob went on to admit that he’s learned that he doesn’t need to hold such hatred in his heart, saying simply in June:

“I grew up.”

Kudos to him for acknowledging and explaining his past mistakes.

Ever since, Roloff has spent a lot of time with his family, visiting his dad’s farm in Oregon and gushing over his nephew online.

An insider even tells Radar Online that Jacob may return to the show that made his loved ones so famous.

He hasn’t signed any kind of new contract with TLC or anything, but “Jacob was very involved in helping to get the farm ready” for Molly Roloff’s wedding last week, an insider says.

This same source says Jacob played a key role in the “logistics of the [event]”and that “TLC cameras were rolling the whole time.”

We’re guessing Roloff had to sign some kind of waiver that gave producers permission to show his face, meaning – at the very least – he may appear in the background of new episodes this fall.

“Jacob drove Molly and her bridal party around in the mule and the cameras were right on them,” the insider tells Radar, saying it “would be impossible” to edit him out of the footage.

We’re guessing they won’t even need to try, not with the way he’s been so open when talking about his family in a positive light these days.

Wrote Roloff as a caption to a photo of himself and the bride on his sister’s special day:

Today was on a whole other level. “Just like everyday life except about two feet off the ground.”

My beautiful, sweet, genius sister got married. Simple as that, but with a lotta love. I’m still taking it in reviewing the pictures. Molly Jo Silvius.

Jacob Roloff Opens Up About Family Feud (Not the Game Show!)

What a difference a year makes, huh?

Almost exactly 365 days ago, Jacob Roloff quit Little People, Big World.

But the youngest son of Matt and Amy Roloff did not go away quietly. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Sick of the fakery all around him and at odds with his parents, Jacob wrote a blistering blog post in which he slammed TLC producers and his own loved ones for basically just making crap up as they went along.

“For the sake of ‘the episode’ and ratings I’ve seen a lot of STORYLINES drawn up (loosely) about our lives,” Jacob said last July.

He went on to scoff at the “ridiculous talking points” his family members spewed on camera, all of which were scripted ahead of time.

“The family that is filmed is not my family,” he said at the time, concluding harshly:

“They are the Roloff Characters and I have scarcely anything in common with them, nor do I want to be a character myself.”

And, with that, Jacob was out.

He removed himself from reality television… dedicated himself to traveling the Pacific Northwest with his girlfriend and dogs… and barely talked to his mother, father or siblings.

But time heals nearly all wounds and Roloff recently admitted that he knew many months ago he’d live to regret the way he bashed his family.

“I rebelled,” Jacob explained a few weeks ago.

“I left the show and I left the religion I was brought up with, and I left it in a pretty flamboyant way… Now I’m like ‘I don’t need to hate it.’ Essentially that is to say, I grew up.”

To make up for the time he lost, Jacob has been hanging out more at his family farm and gushing over his brand new nephew.

But he recounts what led up to his outburst last summer in excerpts from his new book, Verbing.

After reluctantly becoming famous on Little People, Big World, “I felt isolated,” Jacob writes. “And due to that, angry.”

And he often took it out on Matt and Amy.

“This led to arguments and miscommunications with family, especially my parents, culminating really in their decision to experiment having me see a therapist,” Jacob explains.

Just how bad did things get?

Roloff says he refused to leave his bedroom for days on end during the lowest points of his “rift” with his parents.

“I will leave you with but a few bullet points of the situations my mental overhaul wreaked,” Roloff says in the quasi memoir, prior to doing just that:

  • Daily encounters with my mom ending with anything but a smile.

  • Having little to no relationship with my siblings.

  • Locking myself away in my room for all hours of the day, except to relieve myself or to unthankfully grab some food my mom had made.

“I was truly the epitome of a stereotypical teenager – a description I was given frequently,” he says.

Fortunately, Jacob has clearly gained some perspective over time.

Through peace, seclusion, philosophy and the practice of Zen Buddhism, Roloff is no longer angry.

He no longer has any animosity toward his parents.

He’s simply kicking back and enjoying life and sharing gorgeous photos from his time on the road.

This doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll see him again on Little People, Big World.

But for the sake of everyone involved, that’s probably a good thing.

Jacob Roloff Gushes Over Girlfriend, Has Achieved Ultimate #RelationshipGoal

Jacob Roloff has come a very long way in a year.

Last summer, the ex-Little People, Big World resigned from his family’s reality show with a handful of scathing statements, calling out his loved ones as a bunch of phonies.

The youngest Roloff sibling blasted producers, his parents and his brothers for faking scenes and scripting storylines on a weekly basis.

But that was then.

And now?

Roloff has clearly found peace away from the camera.

He spends a great deal of his time on the road, traversing the Pacific Northwest with his girlfriend and his two dogs and even acknowledging that he may have misspoke a bit in the past.

“I remember at that time, I was causing strife,” Roloff said online about a month ago, adding:

“I said inflammatory things [last year]. Even as I said those things, I would admit that in about a year, ‘I’d probably regret some of this."”

Roloff went on to admit that he was simply rebelling back then and, simply bit, he “grew up” in a big way in the many months since.

Jacob isn’t all talk, either.

He has stopped by his family’s farm in Oregon on multiple occasions since Tori and Zach Roloff welcomed their first child into the world in mid-May, sharing numerous photos of nephew Jackson on Instagram and gushing over the precious bundle of joy.

And now he’s doing the same thing when it comes to his girlfriend, Isabel Rock.

The 20-year old shared a photo of Isabel, sitting around a campfire on his Instagram page yesterday, looking all cute while cuddled up in a cozy blanket.

“Seriously dig this girl,” he wrote as a caption. “Life with her is a gift.”

How sweet is that?!?

When it comes to the proverbial #RelationshipGoals, it’s safe to say these two have attained the sort we all strive for.

Jacob and Isabel have been documenting their road trip on YouTube almost since the beginning.

They keep a running video blog that alerts fans to their whereabouts and serves as a general reflection on their lives.

“These videos are going to be kind of a mix of dog life, travel life, just talking and stuff,” Jacob said back when they started.

“We’ll pretty much just show you scenery and tell you what we’re doing that day or something and then also talks and stuff while we’re driving.”

In general, Jacob has been making a point to step back into the spotlight of late.

He’s been doing this partly to satisfy his base of followers, partly because he has things he wants to say… and partly because he actually has a new book out!

It’s true! Read all about it HERE and decide whether you want to purchase the memoir or not.

Jacob Roloff Makes a Major Announcement

Slowly but surely, Jacob Roloff is stepping back into the spotlight.

The former Little People, Big World star didn’t merely quit his family’s TLC reality show last summer…

… he did so in VERY loud and memorable fashion.

In July of 2016, Roloff called out the series and also his loved ones for being totally fake and scripted.

He simply couldn’t handle it any longer and chose to go off on his own instead; he’s basically been road-tripping around the Pacific Northwest with his girlfriend and dogs ever since.

But Roloff has been keeping fans apprised of his life via a handful of video blogs over the past several weeks, explaining that he can control his own narrative this way.

“It’s just more free doing it myself, I can do anything, I can say anything, I can talk about anything,” Roloff wrote on Instagram of why he has stepped away from reality TV… yet is still in front of a camera.

“I can show whatever I want,” he concluded of these videos.

Along these same lines, Roloff has a new announcement to make:

He’s coming out with a book!!!!!!

It is titled “Verbing” and you can purchase a copy on Etsy.com for just $ 5.

On Instagram, Roloff describes this quasi memoir as a “little thing” that are his “thoughts in physical form.”

A profound individual, the 20-year old spends his days traveling around the country and basically pondering various aspects of life. And he wants to share some of these contemplations with his fans.

“Forewarning: I am not taking myself overly serious, it would be prudent if you didn’t either,” Jacob adds of the book, explaining:

“This is a sincere expression and not much more. No end-game. No expectations.”

At the moment, the book is only available for shipping to the United States and Canada.

According to its official description, it is a 16-page collection of three short essays, one titled “Ignorance,” one titled “Frustration,” and one titled “Revelations.”

Concluded Roloff of his goals with the short tome:

“This is my exploratory experiment with writing to get my feet wet with the process and establish the subject(s) I would like to write on in the future….

“Thank you for all support and encouragement!”

Jacob has also been vocal of late in his appreciation for new nephew Jackson Kyle Roloff.

The baby was born to brother Zach and sister-in-law Tori on May 12 and he appears to have helped Jacob grow close once again to his family members.

On more than one occasion, Jacob has stopped by the family farm since Jackson’s birth, sharing pictures of the adorable tyke and gushing over him online.

“Love bein an uncle so far. Love Little Man,” Roloff wrote as a caption to one of these images.

Will you give Jacob’s book a try?

Have you been following his adventures online?

And do you still hope for an on-camera reunion between him and other members of the Roloff family?

We wouldn’t rule it out at this point.

But we’re also fine if it never happens.

Jacob appears to have made the right decision for himself and his goals in life and he’s now on the same page once again with his siblings and parents. Why mess with a good thing?

Jacob Stockdale: Wife Swap Star Murders Mother, Brother; Turns Gun on Self

Tragic news out of Ohio today, as TMZ is reporting that 25-year-old Jacob Stockdale has murdered his mother and brother at the family’s home in Stark County.

Stockdale then turned the gun on himself, but reportedly survived the blast.

The renowned fiddler, who appeared in a memorable episode of the ABC reality series Wife Swap, is currently in critical condition.

A police spokesperson says Jacob shot himself in an apparent suicide attempt just as deputies arrived on the scene.

There is no official word on what led to the murders.

Jacob’s 54-year-old mother, Katherine, and his 21-year-old brother James were pronounced dead on the scene.

Jacob was trasported to a nearby hospital via helicopter and is expected to survive.

The Stockdales made their living traveling throughout the Midwest, performing as a family bluegrass band.

When they were at home, however, they pursued a lifestyle of rural isolation and self-sufficiency, homeschooling their children on a secluded farm where television, Internet, and other modern conveniences were banned for religious reasons.

Stockdale Family Photo

Jacob Stockdale was found at the door of the home, where he had apparently been on the lookout for police.

Stark County Sheriff George T. Maier declined to comment on where the other bodies were found.

Stockdale also did not comment on whether or not the remaining members of the Stockdale family – a father and two sons – were at home at the time of the murders.

The father, Tim Stockdale, issued a statement about his late wife moments ago:

“Kathy has been my beloved wife of 32 years and a wonderful mother to our four sons,” he told local media outlets.

“She loved nothing more than being a mother and grandmother. She had a strong love of learning and was passionate about her Christian faith, natural health, and organic farming.”

Since 2004, the Stockdales had been traveling and performing as a band that, according to their website, “prides itself on sharing bluegrass north of the Mason-Dixon line.”

They performed as recently as Tuesday, and had concerts scheduled throughout the summer.

Friends of the family say Jacob never gave any indication of having any hostility toward his parents or a tendency toward violence.

We will have further updates on this developing story as more information becomes available.

Jacob Roloff: My Bad on All That Family Bashing!

It’s been just under a year since Jacob Roloff quit Little People, Big World.

Actually, to be more accurate, we should say the following:

It’s been just under a year since Jacob Roloff quit Little People, Big World in EPIC FASHION.

Jacob Roloff spends a lot of time reading and hanging out with his dogs these days. It’s a pretty nice life.

In July of 2016, Roloff acknowledged he was done with the TLC show that made him semi-famous, calling out both producers for scripting various scenes and his own family members for appearing in them.

“For the sake of ‘the episode’ and ratings I’ve seen a lot of STORYLINES drawn up (loosely) about our lives,” Roloff said, committing the cardinal sin of reality television by admitting that nearly nothing you see is actually reality.

Jacob went on to say he couldn’t help but laugh over how “ridiculous” the talking points he was asked to say were and how the family being filmed wasn’t really his family.

They were mere “characters,” he said, mere fictional versions of their true selves.

“I have scarcely anything in common with them, nor do I want to be a character myself,” he said at the time.

And then that was pretty much it; Roloff vanished from television and took to traveling the Pacific Northwest with his girlfriend and two dogs.

In the subsequent months, Roloff has still managed to sound off on occasion.

His rant against Christianity just a few weeks ago went viral, for example, as he slammed the religion for being comprised of egotistical, condescending individuals… his relatives very much included.

Christians “don’t pray for you,” he said last month, explaining:

“They pray for themselves, their spiritual security, and out of pity that you aren’t as fortunate as they to be ‘in the know.”

Roloff concluded that he was therefore no longer a member of this religion. Which was obviously well within his rights to declare.

But Jacob once again trashed his own loved ones in doing so, an act it seems as if he now regrets, based on his latest video blog entry.

Looking back at his rant last year and his scathing words just last month, Roloff says the following in this new piece of footage:

“I remember at that time, I was causing strife….I said inflammatory things. Even as I said those things, I would admit that in about a year, I’d probably regret some of this.”

And now that premonition has come true.

How does the 20-year old son of Matt and Amy Roloff explain his diatribe against his family?

Not much differently than that of any teenager.

“I rebelled,” he says now, adding:

“I left the show and I left the religion I was brought up with, and I left it in a pretty flamboyant way.

“Now I’m like ‘I don’t need to hate it.’ Essentially that is to say, I grew up.”

It happens to almost everyone. It just doesn’t happen to almost everyone with TLC cameras pointed at their faces 24/7.

To Jacob’s credit, however, he isn’t just talking this talk. He’s also walking this walk.

The former Little People, Big World star stopped by his family’s farm last week to spend time with his new nephew.

Sharing two photos of Zach Roloff’s son Jackson on Instagram, Jacob gushed over the newborn, who came into this world on May 12.

“It is special… Love bein an uncle so far,” wrote Jacob of the little one.

Does this mean we’ll see Jacob back on TV in the near future? Or ever again? We strongly doubt it.

But that’s likely for the best.

He’s traveling around the country. He’s found love. He’s got two loyal pets. He’s on decent terms again with his family. All seems to have worked out well in the end.

“People have to be allowed to go out of their minds for just a second at least,” Roloff says in the video above.

Especially if this helps them right those same minds in the long run, we agree.

Jacob Roloff: My Nephew is So Gosh Darn Cute!

Jacob Roloff is no longer a cast member on Little People, Big World.

But that doesn’t mean Jacob isn’t still a family member, especially when it comes to his siblings and especially to precious bundle of joys they bring into the world.

In other words:

Jacob is so happy for his brother, Zach, on the occasion of his first child!

Back on May 12, Zach and wife Tori Roloff welcomed a son named Jackson Kyle into the world, sharing a couple adorable family photos from the hospital at the time.

Tori wrote that she and Zach were already “so in love” with their son, while Zach issued the following statement at the time:

“Baby and mother are doing great and Jackson is already mastered holding daddy’s fingers and snuggling with mom!

“He is adorable and Tori and I are loving being parents.”

But while we (obviously) expected to hear from Zach and Tori in honor of this special delivery, fans of Little People, Big World likely weren’t counting on Jacob weighing in as well.

The former TLC star didn’t just quit his family’s series last year, he did so in pretty epic fashion, slamming both the show and his loved ones as fake.

But that was nearly a year ago.

Jacob, his girlfriend and their dogs have been traveling around the country together since, taking in the sights and just appreciating life.

And while the 20-year old rarely mentions specific relatives at this point in his blog entries, Jacob couldn’t help but make an exception when it came to little Jackson.

“We grew very tired very fast of the desert, but Arches NP is where I found out about baby Jackson being born so it is special — and another reason why we blasted thru to California,” Jacob wrote as a caption to the photo above, adding:

“Love bein an uncle so far. Love Little Man.”

He also shared the following snapshot of Jackson on his Instagram page:

YAH. “My lates’ muuuse is my [nephew], he worth livin’. – Jacob Roloff

Jacob has opened up a bit more in recent weeks, although he continues to make it clear why he’s a bit distant from his famous family members.

Last month, for example, took issue with both his fellow Roloffs and those who practice Christianity in general.

“Christians as I have experienced them have assumed a real and damaging sense of superiority over all other belief systems,” wrote the son of Amy and Matt Roloff online, expounding as follows:

“They have privately for so long deemed non-Christians as ‘needing help’ and diseased of the mind and spirit, condescendingly offering an empty platitude of the nature of ‘I’ll pray for you.’

“They don’t pray for you though, they pray for themselves, their spiritual security, and out of pity that you aren’t as fortunate as they to be ‘in the know.”

That’s a lot to consider, we know.

We only bring it up to emphasize that Jacob Roloff is an independent man of very strong feelings and beliefs.

He is unafraid to speak his mind.

But when it comes to a newborn? To an innocent and sweet and adorable new member of his family?

He can at least put past feuds aside and focus on what’s important.

Jacob Roloff: THIS is Why I Quit Little People, Big World

Jacob Roloff can no longer be seen on the small screen.

But the ex-reality star can still be seen on a small screen these days.

Two years after departing the TLC series Little People, Big World, Roloff is documenting his trip through the Pacific Northwest via a series of YouTube videos.

He’s off on an adventure with his girlfriend, Isabel, and his two dogs and he appears to be having the time of his life.

As he drives from Wyoming to Colorado, however, vlogging the trip as it happens, some social media followers are wondering why Jacob is okay with this sort of documentation…

… yet chose NOT to keep the world privy to his every action on the aforementioned reality show.

“I saw a comment on something and somebody was asking why I don’t just do a show since I’m filming myself right now,” the 20-year-old said over the weekend.

He went on to explain the difference between serving as his own director and editor and being at the mercy of a network producer as follows:

There’s two ways to do the filming thing – one way is through the show, maybe and the other way is through myself and vlogs. It’s just more free doing it myself, I can do anything, I can say anything, I can talk about anything.

“I can show whatever I want.”

Indeed, this was the major complain Roloff issued back when he quit Little People, Big World.

Via a pretty epic Instagram post last summer, Roloff SLAMMED the program as scripted and fake and hypocritical.

Saying at the time that he will “never” return, Roloff exposed the series as utterly contrived.

“For the sake of ‘the episode’ and ratings I’ve seen a lot of STORYLINES drawn up (loosely) about our lives,” he said, adding:

“And when I was standing here, behind the scenes and watching it from an outside perspective I just couldn’t stop laughing.

“Laughing at how hard the producers have to try to get us to follow the talking points, and at how ridiculous the talking points are.”

He concluded by saying bluntly:

“The family that is filmed is not my family. They are the Roloff Characters and I have scarcely anything in common with them, nor do I want to be a character myself.”

Roloff is clearly more at ease with everything all these months later, as Isabel said in the couple’s latest video entry that there’s no fear now of any words being misconstrued.

There are no concerns that something will be edited for the sake of drama.

“I don’t want people to think that I’m living in a resentful sort of way towards the show… I’ve moved on from it,” Roloff concluded.

“It’s just a natural progression of leaving the place you came from, moving on away from home, traveling away from home. Just getting away.”

Jacob must have filmed himself for this interview after a particular good and calm day.

Because it wasn’t very long ago that he blasted his religious family members, along with Christianity overall.

“Christians as I have experienced them have assumed a real and damaging sense of superiority over all other belief systems,” wrote the 20-year old son of Amy and Matt Roloff last week.

He expounded:

“They believe that their Mystic, Jesus of Nazareth, was the Supremely Gifted Mystic and that their book, The Bible, is Supreme in Knowledge and Law.

“They have privately for so long deemed non-Christians as ‘needing help’ and diseased of the mind and spirit, condescendingly offering an empty platitude of the nature of ‘I’ll pray for you.

“They don’t pray for you though, they pray for themselves, their spiritual security, and out of pity that you aren’t as fortunate as they to be ‘in the know.”

For all these reasons, Roloff says he’s no longer a Christian.

Which is perfectly fine, of course.

But he got into a pretty big heap of online trouble for calling out the faith itself in such a manner.

Still, that was then and this is now.

And now Roloff seems to be at peace with the show, with life, with everything.

And he’s got some very cute dogs to boot!
