Katy Perry Actually Sends Peace Offering to Taylor Swift, Is "Deeply Sorry" for Feud

In a move that took many music and celebrity gossip fans by surprise, Katy Perry penned an open Instagram Stories letter to long-time rival Taylor Swift on Tuesday, just hours before the latter kicked off her “Reputation” stadium tour.
Perry and Swift, of course, have been engaged in a passive aggressive rivalry for years.
Neither has spoken much about it directly, but each has seemingly referenced the other in songs and in various interviews.
The beef goes back about half a decade and was allegedly ignited due to Perry’s stealing of a couple Swift backup dancers for one of her own international tours.
“She did something so horrible. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.’ And it wasn’t even about a guy!” Swift told Rolling Stone of the subject of the track “Bad Blood” in 2014, never actually saying Perry’s name.
Added Taylor in this revealing exchange:
“It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under… So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.”
We’ve loved it, however.
The feud has been a blast to speculate over and cover.
But now it’s come to an end?
Evidently so.
“Hey Old Friend – I’ve been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and hurt feelings between us,” Perry wrote in a letter we can see parts of via a Swift Instagram video.
The letter is partially obscured, but it also appears to say Katy is “deeply sorry” and wants to “clear the air.”
Included along with the letter, which was actually mailed to Swift, is a literal olive branch.
Panning over the gift in her dressing room in response, Swift says on social media:
“I just got to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch. This means so much to me.”
This is quite the departure for Perry, who tried to use her negative back-and-forth with Swift to promote her last album.
About a year ago, Perry said Swift tried to “assassinate my character” and didn’t sound anywhere close to someone willing to issue a Mea Culpa.
But then Swift released ALL of her songs on streaming music the same day Perry’s album dropped and Katy perhaps realized she was in way over her head.
Her album sales tanked, Swift was viewed as the Queen of Passive Aggression and here we are now.
Granted, it’s also possible Perry just wants to make up with Swift for personal reasons, not because she feels she’s been bested by her foe in the music world.
“I am ready to let it go,” Perry told Thrive CEO Arianna Huffington last summer, adding:
“I forgive her and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her … I love her, and I want the best for her. And I think she’s a fantastic songwriter.”
So we guess the action Perry took on Tuesday has sort of been a long time coming.
Perry added last year that she thinks she and Swift could put their differences aside and be “representatives of strong women.”
“Maybe I don’t agree with everything she does and she doesn’t agree with everything I do, but I just really, truly want to come together in a place of love and forgiveness and understanding and compassion,” the singer said.
Fair enough.
We’re willing to believe Perry is being sincere and we’re now hoping to see these two take the stage peacefully together at some point.
That would be fun to see, wouldn’t it?
Heck, perhaps an album of duets?!?
Okay, maybe now we’re aiming too high.
But in a polarizing country, where it seems like no one can get along, it’s nice to see Perry and Swift setting an example for the rest of us to follow.

Angelina Jolie to Jennifer Aniston: Take Your Peace Offering and Shove It!

Indeed, according to a hilarious In Touch Weekly rumor, Aniston recently reached out to her long-time rival in hopes of getting together and burying a hatchet that has existed ever since Brad Pitt buried his penis deep inside of Angelina’s…
… sorry, nevermind.
You probably get it.
The aforementioned tabloid writes in its latest issue that Aniston “extended an invitation” to sit down for a meal with Jolie because “Jen thought it was finally time to resolve the past.”
Even the recent past.
Just in the past couple months alone, there’s been talk that Aniston and Pitt are getting back together, now that each is single.
We’ve always doubted this chatter and it appears as if Aniston wanted to make sure Angelina didn’t believe any of it, either.
Aniston was aiming for a “fresh start on all fronts” with Jolie, who this same report alleges responded as followed to Aniston:
LOLOLOLOL, NO!
We’re paraphrasing with that response, of course, but In Touch writes that Jolie turned down Aniston’s invitation.
For what reason?
The former Academy Award winner supposedly told Aniston that “she didn’t owe her an apology,” leading the magazine insider to conclude:
“The whole idea to get together for dinner turned into a disaster.”
Shocking, right?
Aside from the obvious reasons why Jolie would scoff at this sort of request, Star Magazine claims that Aniston and Pitt have been hanging out of late, due to an intervention of sorts by George Clooney.
The beloved actor is close friends with Pitt and has reportedly been in close contact with him ever since his September 2016 divorce from Jolie.
“After Jen and Justin [Theroux, 46] announced their split, [Clooney] encouraged Brad to reach out and give their relationship another chance,” Star claims of Pitt and Aniston.
This supposedly led to Pitt and Aniston getting together on the night of March 3, reminiscing about “the past” and sharing “a lot of laughs.”
Overall, “it seemed just like old times, but better,” the tabloid reports.
Naturally, news of this meeting of ex-lovers got back to Jolie, which helps explain why she never considered a sit-down with Aniston.
Simply put, according to In Touch?
“She’s furious about it.”
Thankfully, even if Aniston does jump into bed again with Pitt, all hope is not lose for Jolie.
There’s a certain handsome actor who wants to take her out on a date and who would probably not object to a round of intercourse, either.
We can’t say for certain what will happen between them, but both Jolie and Aniston need to focus on the future.
The former confirmed her split from Jolie over a year and a half ago, while Aniston separated from Theroux in February via the following statement:
In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year.
We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.
The stars had been together for seven years at the time and married for two years.

Audrey Roloff Extends Peace Offering to Jacob Roloff... But Does He Accept?
According to a new report, Audrey Roloff recently took a break from sending messages about marriage, family and God to do something else on social media:
Reach out to her brother-in-law.
About two months ago, rumors first surfaced that Audrey and Jacob Roloff did not exactly see eye-to-eye.
Or nose-to-nose. Or ear-to-ear. Or really any body part to any body part.
What we’re saying and what we’ve alleged in the past is this: Audrey and Jacob just don’t get along.
What led certain outlets to make this claim?
The main evidence centers around Instagram and two facts surrounding this popular platform:
ONE, the public realized that Audrey and Jeremy don’t actually follow each other’s accounts.
TWO, nary a photo exists that features both Audrey and Jacob in the same place, which may be telling considering how frequently all other family members appear to hang out.
As for why these reality star may not be on the best of terms?
Audrey is very into God and Christianity, while Jacob, to put it simply, is not.
He’s openly agnostic.
Moreover, Audrey has been accused of being a tad bit fake and manipulative, often sharing personal notes about her family and faith… while simultaneously shilling for various products.
And anyone who has kept close track of Jacob over the last two years or so is well aware that he hates nothing more than phoniness.
Heck, Jacob quit Little People, Big World in the summer of 2016 specifically because he couldn’t handle how scripted and fake his family’s reality show had become.
So anyway. This brings us all back to Audrey and Jacob’s rumored feud.
A source tells Radar Online that the former has tried to put an end to it over the last few weeks by Liking nearly all of Jacob’s Instagram pictures.
She’s reached out on social media, this insider says, but Jacob is yet to return the favor.
He still does not follow Audrey’s page, despite following every other relative, including his other sister-in-law, Tori, who married brother Zach back in 2015.
But while Audrey may have subtly tried to extend a peace offering to Jacob, she has not yet congratulated him on his December engagement to Isabel Rock.
At least not in public.
Therefore, the jury remains out on this feud.
All it would really take is one photo of Audrey and Jacob together to put an end to this chatter, but until the Internet sees one, it will continue to wonder, speculate and ask questions

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar: SLAMMED For Offering Marriage Advice on Facebook!
There are many words that are commonly associated with the Duggars on social media.
“Courtship,” “side-hug,” and “Quiverfull” are among the unusual terms that are strangely familiar to Counting On fans.
But there’s one word that might be used more often than any other in describing Jim Bob, Michelle, and their massive brood–“hypocritical.”
Yes, ever since news of the Josh Duggar sex scandals went public, the family has been accused of rampant hypocrisy on a seemingly daily basis.
And the evidence that the Duggars don’t quite practice what they preach just keeps piling up.
Obviously, their tolerance for Josh’s child molestation and marital infidelity is the most damning incident, but the Duggars have proven on countless occasions that they have no qualms about saying one thing in public and doing the exact opposite in private.
Whether it’s Jim Bob hoarding while espousing the virtues of Christian charity, or Michelle encouraging abusive parenting techniques while preaching love and compassion, the Duggars see utterly unashamed of the many inconsistencies in their belief system.
Of course, their greatest hypocrisy will always be evident in their interactions with Josh, and fans are always quick to call them out on it:
Michelle and Jim Bob posted the above photo on Facebook yesterday with a caption reading:
“Treasure your spouse! Godly husbands and wives are blessings from the Lord!
“Remember to tell them that you love them, that you are thankful for them, and that you will always have their back. It’s the little things that speak volumes!!”
Naturally, many of the family’s Facebook followers were quick to point out the irony of Duggars offering marital advice:
“Was Josh treasuring Anna when he was on Ashley Madison? The only thing worth treasuring here is your hypocrisy,” wrote one commenter.
“You support the serial adulterer, thrice married sexual predator,” remarked another.
“You no longer get to decide what ‘godly’ means and you sure as hell don’t represent god. Have several seats, hypocrites.”
The Josh-related criticism has been louder than usual in recent weeks thanks to the Duggars’ efforts to reintroduce Josh to their fans.
Insiders have even speculated that Josh might return to TV during the current season of his family’s reality show.
It’s difficult to imagine the Duggars being so brazen, but all signs seem to point in that direction.
Josh has been appearing on his parents’ social media pages more than ever lately, and many fans believe it’s part of a slow acclimation process.
Hopefully, Jim Bob and Michelle will take incidents like this as a reminder that Josh will never be welcomed by the public.
But knowing them, they’ll probably keep right on forcing the issue.

Khloe Kardashian Makes Peace Offering to Blac Chyna
In the following clip from this Sunday"s Keeping Up with the Kardashians midseason finale, Rob Kardashian is going through some drama with his baby mama.
Neither Rob nor Blac Chyna is actually seen in the footage, but the latter is heard from over speaker phone.
That"s because Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian have decided to make Chyna an offer.
They understand how Rob can get when he"s hurt and angry – this clip takes place during his recent big fight with Chyna – and they want to actually reach out to Chyna.
Kim thinks it would be especially nice of Khloe to do so because she doesn"t know Chyna very well.
Khloe listens to her sister"s argument (while eating ice cream and rocking some giant yellow nails) before agreeing with Kim"s point of view.
Yes, sure, why not, Khloe basically says. I"ll invite Chyna to my upcoming birthday party.
And because this party already took place and photos from it have already gone viral, we know what Chyna says in response.
But this is basically our behind the scenes look at how that invite came about.
Those who watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online or who watch it live each week on E! tune in to see these types of scenes.
Because footage is filmed so far ahead of time and because this family is so often in the news, fans often already know the outcome to storylines as they air.
But they still tune in.
We"re not really sure why.
We guess they want to see how Kim, Khloe and company read the lines producers have written for them.
In this case, we almost believe that they called up Blac Chyna out of the blue and that she had no idea this invitation was about to be offered.
We wonder how many takes it took to get the scene just right.

Kris Jenner: Offering Rob Kardashian BIG Bucks to Go to Rehab Return to TV, Source Says
Last week, we reported that Rob Kardashian was hospitalized and diagnosed with diabetes after complaining of a number worrisome ailments.
Family, friends and fans hoped that the situation would serve as a wake-up call for Rob, but sadly, that hasn’t been the case.
Sources say Rob is ignoring his diagnosis and continuing to indulge in the risky behavior that nearly left him in a coma just a few weeks ago.
Fortunately, Kris Jenner seems to think she has the solution – and the momager may be willing to shell out big bucks in order to kill two birds with one stone.
According to Radar Online, Kris is planning to pay Rob $ 1 million in order to check into rehab.
Of course, this is Kris Jenner we’re talking about, so there’s a PR angle in play here.
Sources say the deal would also require Rob to return to Keeping Up With the Kardashians so that his struggle with depression and addiction issues could be used as a storyline for the shows twelfth season.
“Kris looks at Rob’s health crisis as a potential storyline for the show,” one insider says. “She wants him to let cameras inside of his struggle because she believes that his downward spiral would make for great ratings!
“But there is a catch. She told him that in order to get the money, he must check in to treatment when the show is on hiatus.”
Whatever works, we suppose. Of course, we’d have more faith in Kris’ parenting abilities if getting Rob into rehab were her primary concern, and appearing on the show was “the catch.”
Insiders say Kris is still attempting to handle the situation from afar, and has not seen Rob since his hospitalization.
“Kris still has not seen her son in person,” says the source. “However, she has ordered a private chef for him, as well as a team consisting of a psychologist, nutritionist and therapist.
“She has basically done everything except for actually going to deal with his situation in person.”
Yes, it sounds like Kris is still a manager first and a mom second. The approach seems to work very well for some of her daughters…not so much for her son.
