Joe Guidice to Be Deported Following Release From Prison

More bad news this morning for the long-suffering Giudice clan of This Real Housewives of New Jersey fame.

As you may recall, “Juicy” Joe Giudice is currently behind bars serving 41 months on tax fraud charges.

Joe was born in Italy and never obtained American citizenship.

As such, the pride of the Garden State became a possible candidate for deportation the moment he was convicted of a felony.

Now, TMZ is reporting that the Giudice family’s worst fears have been realized, and Joe will indeed be forced to return to his homeland.

Once he’s through serving his sentence, he’s outta here.

“Based upon the law, I find you deportable and ineligible for any kind of relief,” a judge ruled in immigration court this morning.

“Mr. Giudice, no matter how this turns out, I wish you the best,” the judge added. “I decided this case as a matter of law.”

Joe and his lawyers are expected to appeal the decision.

They have been granted 30 days to complete the process.

Needless to say, Joe’s prospects of remaining in the United States are not promising, but at least he’s … locked up for the time being.

The question now is whether Teresa Giudice and her four daughters will join the family patriarch in his trip back across the pond.

For a long time, it was widely assumed that Teresa would not be moving to Italy with Joe

She’s raising four girls who all have strong familial roots in Jersey, and it would be difficult to uproot them, no question.

Moreover, it seems unlikely that Teresa would be able to make the kind of money she’s accustomed to anywhere other than the Garden State.

Maybe Bravo would be willing to send a camera crew to the Boot to shoot a one-off special about the Giudice’s relocation?

In any case, it seems unlikely that Teresa would be able to continue participating in the show that made her famous.

On top of all that rumors of Teresa and Joe getting divorced predate the couple’s legal troubles by several years.

But in recent weeks, Teresa has been hinting that she would be willing to at least make a go of life in Italy.

“Italy’s a beautiful place to live,” Teresa said in a recent interview with Andy Cohen.

“I wouldn’t mind; I’m just saying,” she added.

“Whatever God has planned for me, then that’s what’s gonna happen. And I will embrace it the best that I can.”

Well, we guess Teresa’s got the right attitude.

Hopefully, she keeps up that optimism through the hard times ahead, because it looks like there will be plenty of them.

The Situation: Sentenced to 8 Months in Prison!

Forgive the most obvious pun in the history of writing, but it simply must be done.

And here it goes:

Mike Sorrentino officially finds himself in a bad situation.

As sorry as we are for going there, we’re guessing this Jersey Shore mainstay is even more sorry at the moment for having not paid his taxes back in the day.

He has been sentenced to eight months in jail as a result.

The MTV personality and his brother Marc were indicted in September 2014.

Then, in January of this year, they pleaded guilty to one count of tax evasion and actually faced a five-year prison sentence. (Marc was sentenced to 24 months in prison on Friday.)

Fast forward seven days to this morning and The Situation was accompanied to the courthouse by fiancee Lauren Pesce.

All the familiar Jersey Shore names — Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Deena Cortese, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino, Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio and Angelina Pivarnick — were all spotted on the scene as well.

So Sorrentino at least had plenty of support when he learned his fate.

On top of the eight-month prison sentence, Mike must also complete 500 hours of community service and was given $ 123,913 in restitution already paid, plus a fine of $ 10,000 that must be paid within 30 days.

The day before the sentencing, Snooki told Us Weekly that the cast was “hoping for the best,” adding of The Situation:

“He’s just such a good person. He changed for the better. He’s a totally different person. He doesn’t deserve this right now, but obviously you gotta get that done.”

Sorrentio and Pesce are allegedly planning a prison wedding at some point within the next year, as Mike tries to give himself something positive to look forward to in light of this news.

In pre-sentencing memos obtained by the Associated Press yesterday, Sorrentino’s lawyer argued he should receive probation, stating that the MTV star played a minimal role in the supposed financial conspiracy …

… and has worked diligently to overcome substance abuse in the time since his arrest.

Conversely, prosecutors asked for a jail sentence of 14 months, arguing that such time would send the message that “tax fraud will be met with real punishment.”

They also noted that Sorrentino’s substance addiction didn’t stop him from structuring cash deposits to avoid government scrutiny.

Sorrentino has been to rehab on two occasions to try and overcome this addiction.

Earlier this year, he told People Magazine that he has “worked so hard to turn my life around and be the best person I can be,” adding the following of appearing on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 2.

“I had a very strong foundation for my recovery with over two years [sober] when I entered the house.

“But I did have to challenge myself to go out and film a whole season of Jersey Shore and have fun without alcohol — to show the youth out there that it is possible.”

The Situation’s status for Season 3 of this reality show revival is unknown right now.

But it isn’t looking good.

Mike Sorrentino Begs Judge For Leniency, Receives Prison Time Anyway

It’s a sad day for Jersey Shore star and reality TV icon Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.

As we reported earlier, Sorrentino has been sentenced to eight months in prison in connection with a string of legal troubles that began back in 2014.

At that time, Mike and his older brother Marc were indicted for failure to pay taxes on $ 8.9 million in earnings.

Additionally, the brothers were accused of covering up their crimes by filing false tax returns in connection to Mike’s business ventures.

In April of 2017, Mike was hit with additional charges of tax evasion and structuring funds to avoid currency transaction reports.

Under the terms of his plea deal, Sorrentino was only forced to plead guilty to one count of tax evasion, but that proved to be enough to land him behind bars.

Mike’s attorneys argued that he played a minimal role in the financial conspiracy masterminded by his brother (who has already been sentenced to two years in prison).

They also noted that Sorrentino has worked hard to overcome the substance abuse issues that plagued him as a young adult.

Speaking on his own behalf, Sorrentino made a heartfelt plea for leniency that ultimately fell on deaf ears.

“I am deeply sorry. I will forever regret the decisions I made,” he told the court.

“I overcame my demons in 34 months,” Sorrentino added.

“I was in almost a full year of treatment. I lost everything in a short period of time. I was immature. Everything came overnight.”

Sorrentino joked that he “doesn’t even speed anymore” before listing the ways in which he’s served his community over the course of the past three years.

“I have a new team of professionals helping me. I work at two rehabs to share my story,” he said.

“I volunteer at the police department. I warn kids of the dangers of substance abuse. I want to continue to be a positive role model in my community.”

But despite Mike’s obvious remorse, his good works, and the endorsement of his Shore castmates — all of whom were present in the courtroom today — the judge denied Sorrentino’s request for probation and a fine and his only penalties.

In addition to jail time, Mike will be forced to serve 500 hours of community service and pay a $ 10,000 fine within 30 days.

He has already paid $ 123,913 in restitution.

There’s no word yet on when Mike will begin serving his sentence, but it currently looks as though he will not be appearing in the planned third season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Bill Cosby: I"m Gonna Escape from Prison! This is How!

As proven over the years by all the times he slept with other women (occasionally even with their consent) , Bill Cosby is not very happy with his wife.

But a new report claims this evaluation doesn’t merely apply to how Cosby feels about Camille as a partner in the bedroom.

It also applies to how Cosby feels about Camille as a partner in crime.

Indeed, just days after we heard Cosby was begging his wife to do everything in her power to free him from prison, a source now tells Radar Online that the disgraced comedian has moved on.

He’s found someone else to take over this role.

And that someone else has an amazing nickname.

About a week after Cosby was sentenced to at least three years in jail for drugging and assaulting a woman named Andrea Constand in 2004, the terrible human being has gone ahead and hired someone called the “Googler,” Radar writes.

Explains the website, in apparent seriousness:

Though the man was introduced a a “personal security guard” to Cosby’s team during the court battle, the disgraced comic’s entourage soon discovered his role was much bigger – and the “Googler” now lives on the star’s Pennsylvania estate, where he plots his release!

How, exactly?

Cosby was found guilty in April by a jury of his peers and then a judge decided upon his punishment.

Short of a map of tattoos across his body that illustrates the best escape route from jail, how can Cosby be plotting any kind of release?

Per this article, the 81-year old “literally pays one man to sit on Google all day long in the guesthouse, in complete darkness, to Google and research successful methods other prisoners used in the past.”

(Editor’s note: Why is this individual sitting in complete darkness? Is it illegal for him to search the Internet or something?)

“The man is literally a Googler from New York … that’s what we call him,” the insider tells Radar, adding:

“We don’t know what he does, who he knows, what his past is like or even his real name. All we know is that he’s here to stay.”

Cosby has allegedly hired two doctors and a prison expert to assist with this goal, which is just a little weird.

We’re pretty sure it’s the job of any decent lawyer to file appeals for his client and/or find these precise sort of legal loopholes to reduce sentences or get verdicts thrown out entirely.

“During a phone  call with Mr. Cosby, the ‘Googler’ told him he found case law that allows him to stay housed in the infirmary throughout his sentence to avoid being placed in general population,” the source says.

“He found a number of cases in Pennsylvania where people at Mr. Cosby’s age died due to lack of healthcare and medical attention – this prison doesn’t want to be the prison doesn’t want to go down in history as the prison Bill Cosby died in.”

OJ Simpson is on record as sharing a similar concern.

The disgraced star ideally wants to be moved back to his residence and to serve his time under house arrest.

He figures this will keep him safe and happy, two emotions not shared by any of the 60 women he reportedly drugged and then raped over the years.

“He believes he’ll be home in no time,” the Radar source concludes. “He thinks the court won the battle, but he will win the war.”

He’s an awful, awful person.

Bill Cosby Impresses Fellow Inmates, Earns Prison Nickname

Well, folks, it’s been about 24 hours since Bill Cosby was sentenced to prison and taken into custody.

It’s a positive development for just about everyone in the world, with the exceptions of Cosby himself and maybe a handful of wacky sweater enthusiasts.

Considering he appears to have raped scores of women over the course of several decades, Cosby’s 3-10 year sentence is appallingly light, but on the plus side, he’s 81, so there’s a good chance he’s tasted the sweet pudding pop of freedom for the last time.

Anyway, millions are rightly celebrating Cosby’s incarceration today, and we salute his victims for their bravery in coming forward and their persistence in seeing that this monster was brought to justice.

Another group that’s rightly jazzed (Get it? Because he likes jazz?) about the Cos being locked away are his fellow inmates.

Despite what Orange Is the New Black might have led you to believe, minimum security prisons are actually rather boring places where amusingly topical monologues are few and far between.

So the arrival of a celebrity inmate — particularly one as famous as Bill Cosby — is highly anticipated occasion.

“Prisoners are excited that Cosby is there,” a source close to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections tells Radar Online.

“Even the toughest cellblocks showed respect for him.”

And it seems they’ve even done the disgraced comic the honor of granting him a prison nickname.

“They’re calling him the ‘OG’ — lingo for ‘original gangster,’” the insider claims.

We’re hoping that nickname is delivered with a healthy dose of irony, as Cosby spent the past 50 years chiding black men for the way they dress by day and drugging and raping women by night.

There’s nothing remotely gangster about either of those activities.

Earlier today, we reported that Cosby is trying to beg his way out of prison by claiming that he’s in danger due to his celebrity status.

Fortunately, prison authorities anticipated that argument, and they essentially shot it down with a statement issued moments ago:

“We are taking all of the necessary precautions to ensure Mr. Cosby’s safety and general welfare in our institution,” Corrections Secretary John Wetzel said.

“The long-term goal is for him to be placed in the general population to receive the programming required during his incarceration.”

Sounds like you may want to get comfortable, Mr. Cosby.

You’re gonna be in there longer than Theo got grounded when he took the car without permission. Zab-zippity!

Bill Cosby Begs Wife: Get Me Out of Prison Before I Die In Here!

As you’ve likely heard by now, Bill Cosby was sentenced to 3-10 years in prison yesterday after being convicted of sexually assaulting Andrea Constand.

The disgraced comedy legend was handcuffed and taken into custody shortly after the judge delivered his sentence.

It’s been less than 24 hours since he was imprisoned, but already, Cosby’s booking photo has become a viral sensation, and reports about his first day behind bars are being gleefully shared on every social media platform.

(A report from TMZ that Cosby’s first meal will include Jell-O has proven particularly popular.)

Naturally, Cosby took advantage of his first opportunity to place a phone call, and insiders confirm that he contacted his wife of 54 years, Camille Cosby.

Now, a new report Radar Online claims that Cosby spent most of his time on the phone imploring Camille to do everything in her power to get him out of jail.

Bill Cosby Booking Pic

“They took my cane, tie and shoelaces because they think I will harm myself,” Cosby reportedly told his wife.

A witness who listened in on the call, says Cosby complained about the conditions and led his wife to believe he was in immediate physical danger:

“He said he had a stale hotdog bun thrown at him and he fell down a few steps because he wasn’t being guided,” the source recalls.

“He told Camille, ‘Grab the checkbook and hire anyone and everyone’ who could get him out as soon as possible.”

Obviously, as a lifelong serial rapist, Cosby is deserving of absolutely zero sympathy.

But if the idea of a mostly-blind 81-year-old grandfather living out what might be his final years in state prison strikes you as tragically pathetic, fear not.

Life is easier for rich people everywhere — including prison.

Cosby will likely serve his sentence in a relatively cushy facility for “low risk” inmates, and a team of lawyers will descend on the place every time a guard so much as looks at him askance.

Fortunately, his treasured “legacy” has been thoroughly decimated, and Cosby’s many victims can hopefully rest easier knowing justice has somewhat been served.

And with any luck, Camille Cosby will soon see the value in being free of her monstrous husband.
