Dancing With the Stars Results: A Semifinal Shocker! What is Up With This Show?!

One of Dancing With the Stars’ most controversial seasons in history is coming down the home stretch, and it’s still anyone’s title to grab.

Just not one of the favorites.

Oh yes. Having already seen the elimination of Heather Morris, we were treated to another results shocker Monday night on the parquet.

Rashad Jennings, David Ross, Normani Kordei and Simone Biles have made it to the final four, vying to join the illustrious list of winners.

This week, the fab four and their respective partners would dance twice, and one dancer would be sent home before next week’s finale.

Let’s see how they did … and stunning Dancing with the Stars results awaited us at the end of the night (this was a real doozy, people).

David Ross and Lindsay Arnold

Unquestionably the weakest of the final four (still, to even make the final four is impressive), the ballplayer struggled a touch on the Foxtrot.

Just the same, he’s progressed so much, and his tango to “Castle on a Hill” was up there with the most memorable routines of the year.

Judges Challenge: 34/40

Unlearned Dance: 36/40

Total: 70!

Normani Kordei and Valentin Chmerkovskiy

The Fifth Harmony member stumbled a bit during her Viennese Waltz, but that was barely perceptible. But then she achieved perfection.

Her jazz routine set to “What a Wonderful World” earned a standing ovation and was as good as any routine on any season.

Judges Challenge: 36/40

Unlearned Dance: 40/40

Total: 76!

Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater

The NFL running back turned in a strong rumba, and an even stronger quickstep, continuing to show improvement week in and week out.

Judges Challenge: 38/40

Unlearned Dance: 39/40

Total: 77!

Simone Biles and Sasha Farber

After last week’s iconic “smiling doesn’t win gold medals” comment, Simone set out to have some fun doing the jive, and she delivered.

Biles landed her first perfect score, then added another in the form of a rumba that also showcased her personality and her talents.

Judges Challenge: 40/40

Unlearned Dance: 40/40

Total: 80!

So naturally, at the end of Monday’s episode, Simone was the one to be sent home. We wish we were kidding, but that’s DWTS for you.

After Heather Morris’ exit, and to a degree Nancy Kerrigan’s, Simone looked all but assured of a place in this season’s final four.

We know, two shocking ousters shouldn’t preclude a third, but given her place among these four, how could she not make it?

Then to put together an 80/80 on top of that … what gives? Apparently, David Ross’ votes outweighed Biles’ in spite of all that.

Half of the scores that determine who gets voted off come from fans, so Ross must have accumulated A LOT more of those.

Shame. Brandy’s exit back in Season 11, and perhaps Morris’ a few weeks earlier this spring, were equally bad, but this? This?

It may go down as the strangest of the strange Dancing With the Stars results we’ve seen over the show’s 24 seasons on air.

Pretty Little Liars SHOCKER: Who Murdered Jessica DiLaurentis?

With Pretty Little Liars wrapping up, the series has a lofty task before it signs off: Answer the multitude of questions that have been spun from the convoluted web of deceit over the past seven seasons.

We’ve had three episodes so far of beating around the bush, with more red herrings than every thrown our way. It’s hardly been the season of answers like Marlene King, and the cast has been trying to lead fans to believe.

On Pretty Little Liars Season 7 Episode 14, we finally got the reveal to one of this biggest questions out there: Who the eff killed Mrs. DiLaurentis?

Surprisingly, the killer was Mary Drake … at least according to Peter Hastings, who somehow reappeared in town weeks after Spencer was shot.

Spencer picked up on his latest lie when she checked his passport and called him out on it. He told her he was actually investigating Mary with a private investigator.

Um, alright then. Some time later, Spencer went to war with him, and he dropped the bomb that Mary took Jessica out of the equation with help from his drugs.

Spencer was in disbelief. Let’s face it: She was probably questioning whether her father was talking crap in the name of turning Spencer against her biological mother.

Spencer’s search for Mary found herself and Hanna crossing paths with Pastor Ted. Yes, that Same guy Ashley was romancing some time ago.

Ted lied that he had never heard of Mary because Mary was hiding out in his house. He later came clean to Hanna that he was in a relationship with Mary in college and he was Charlotte’s biological father.

A shocked Hanna questioned who the other kid was in a picture with Charlotte. Nothing could prepare her for the revelation that the other kid was Lucas and that he was BFFs with Charlotte.

Did this just implicate Lucas in being the King of Sketch? It sure seemed that way, and Hanna went on the offensive to find out the truth.

Alison was stopped by Fury who opened up about the finger that was delivered to the police station. It was Archer’s, and the police were convinced he was dead from around the time he was reported missing.

While Fury tried to get the truth from Ali, she deflected it by saying that anyone could have gone after her ex-husband because he posed as a doctor and was not qualified.

When Alison took her turn at the game, she found out that A had impregnated her with Emily’s eggs. Unfortunately, all of this came when Paige and Emily put their differences aside.

How will Paige react to Ali carrying Emily’s child? Oh, the drama.

Aria ditched Ali and went to meet A.D. because she wanted out of the game. She was shocked to meet Sydney in the limo, but Sydney claimed she shot Spencer and created the game.

She then offered Aria a role on Team A.D. She kept this quiet from the liars and got to skip her shot at the game, with Hanna taking another stab at it.

So… does this mean Aria has gone rogue? We have no clue, but we’re digging it.

What did you think of the twists?

Riverdale Shocker: Who Murdered Jason Blossom?

The characters on Riverdale have been trying to solve the murder of Jason Blossom all season long.

It was poised to be a reveal saved for the season finale of the freshman hit, but loyal viewers were treated to the truth on Riverdale Season 1 Episode 12

With FP Jones behind bars for the murder, it seemed like he was going say that he did not carry out the murder.

Instead, he admitted to everything and gave all the finer details to Sheriff Keller. He went all the way back to the summer when Jason asked him for help making a getaway from town with Polly.

Right up to the point he allegedly shot the kid and hid his body in a freezer. It seemed like he was telling the truth, right?

Wrong.

With Archie, Betty, and Veronica not willing to believe that little nugget of truth, they continued on a mission to seek out the truth and, boy, they got it.

In a bat $ hit crazy twist, it was revealed that Jason’s father, Clifford, was the one who dealt the fatal blow to Jason with the gun that was planted in FP’s house.

FP was holding the kid ransom, but Clifford decided to take him out of the equation because of all the drama he was causing by dating Polly Cooper.

But, why did the family hate Polly, exactly?

That was another shock altogether. Hal Cooper appeared in the dead of night at his former home, intent on destroying the evidence he stole from Sheriff Keller’s.

When caught, it gave Alice and Betty the truth because FP had confessed to taking that evidence himself. Hal opened up about the fact that great-grandpapa Cooper was a blossom.

Let us do the math for you. That means Polly, Betty and Hal have Blossom blood running through them. More importantly, it meant Polly got knocked up by her third cousin.

Yikes.

No wonder the family members wanted the relationship to be over. If that truth spread across the quaint town of Riverdale, the maple syrup business would likely be in tatters.

Anyway, Clifford wound up murdering himself, presumably because the truth was about to come out.

Poor Jughead thought this meant his father was being released from jail, but Sheriff Keller confirmed the news Jughead feared the most: His father will be spending a lot of time behind bars for his part in hiding the body.

The kid has been living without a guardian since the series kicked off, so it made sense for him to try and flee to Toledo to be with his mother.

However, she told him to stay put in Riverdale because she did not want him living with her. I mean, what the heck? Any parent would be ecstatic to see their kid after being apart from them for all that time.

And there we have it, folks. Riverdale’s first big mystery has been solved.

What did you think of it?

Scandal Shocker: Who May Be Dead?!?

By the lofty, suspenseful, bat $ hit crazy and awesome standards set by Shonda Rhimes, Scandal Season 6 has been somewhat of a disappointment.

Up until last night, the first half of this latest run could mostly be summed up by one sentence:

Rowan killed Frankie Vargas.

Aside from that development, nothing has really stood out on what has long been considered the most twisty and turny show on television.

But then the final minute of Scandal Season 6 Episode 7 aired.

And our jaws have remained on the floor ever since, having dropped completely at the hour’s stunning conclusion.

As the build up to this cliffhanger, we witnessed Huck get close to Phoebe Neidhart’s Meg, the friend of Jennifer Fields, who was just revealed last week to still be alive.

Meg demanded answers about her friend’s supposed death, specifically pushing for Olivia to assist her and asking all kinds of questions about the heroine of Huck.

Following some hot and heavy floor sex, Huck attempted to shut this problem down by introducing Meg to Jennifer Fields, who, of course, isn’t actually dead.

Problem solved, right?

It appears to be when Jennifer seemed psyched to see her friend… until Meg took out a gun and shot her in the chest.

From there, the episode leaped ahead to Meg having a sit-down with Abby in a park.

“Is it done?” Abby asked, as viewers wondered whether she could truly be the traitor.

After hearing the confirmation of Jennifer’s murder, Abby went ahead and really made us gasp with her follow-up and inquiry:

“And Huck?”

Ummm…. WHAT?!? Huh? Say it isn’t so, Abby! Please!

The action then cut back to that hotel room Jennifer had been hiding out in, with Meg turning her weapon on Huck and shooting him directly in the chest. Numerous times.

“Don’t worry, Ms. Wheelan. He’ll have no idea you were part of this,” Meg told Abby at the park.

Is that because Huck is dead? For real?

It wouldn’t shock us is the character was wearing a bulletproof vest, but it also wouldn’t totally shock us if he’s gone forever.

It’s been awhile since Scandal featured a major death.

Huck, of course, was on a mission from Olivia to kill her dad and learned in the process that Rowan was told to kill Frankie by someone who threatened a person close to him.

Moreover, this same individual had planted a mole by Olivia’s side who possessed the power to “say the word, and she’s dead.”

Could this really be Abby? The series clearly wants us to believe it is right now.

All we know for certain is that you better stop what you’re doing and watch Scandal online if you somehow missed this show-altering episode.

Did we say “show-altering?” We meant “life-altering.”

While we ponder the two major storylines to come out of Scandal Season 6 Episode 7, we want to hear from viewers and readers.

You tell us:

IS HUCK REALLY DEAD?

Madonna Sings Carpool Karaoke, Shares MJ Shocker

Life was not a mystery for Madonna on Wednesday night.

Based on days of hype and sneak peeks, we knew exactly what to expect from the iconic singer during her appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden:

CARPOOL KARAOKE!

Indeed, the Material Girl followed in the talented and hilarious steps of such artists as Adele, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga by sitting shotgun with the CBS host and helping him lip-sync a number of her classic hits.

The segment opened with the pair dancing to Vogue, with some Twerking to "Bitch I"m Madonna" soon following.

After talking about how the Vatican ex-communicated the artist at one point, Corden and Madonna sang, “Papa Don’t Preach.”

Next, they belted out “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” from the musical Evita, as well as her smash hit “Express Yourself.”

There was a discussion about Madonna"s love interests and her types of men over the years, along with some mockery of Corden"s fashion sense.

Aside from also singing "Ray of Light" and "Music," Madonna admitted that she once kissed Michael Jackson after she got him to "loosen up with a glass of Chardonnay."

WHOA THERE!

What else did the stars gossip about? Where does this Carpool Karaoke rank among the all-time best?

Watch now:

Saturday Night Live Shocker: Who"s Out?!?

There’s been a shake-up at Saturday Night Live.

And we are none too pleased about it.

In stunning news broken by TV Line, neither Taran Killam nor Jay Pharoah will return for Season 42 of this iconic sketch comedy show.

The former was one of the show’s most utilized players over the past couple years, while Pharoah’s impersonations never cease to blow us away.

(Challenge: close your eyes. Play videos of Denzel Washington and Jay Pharoah on your computer and just try to tell them apart.)

An NBC spokesperson has confirmed the departures of two cast members who had each been with the program for six seasons.

Killam simply didn’t have the seventh year of his contract picked up… and he isn’t certain why.

“I had sort of had it in my head I would make this upcoming year my last year, but then heard they weren’t going to pick up my contract,” he told Uproxx.

“I was never given a reason why, really.”

Killam added that he’s directing the movie Why We’re Killing Gunther.

He said that some of the post-production process on the film would have coincided with SNL‘s production schedule.

So maybe that played some role? Even though it’s the sort of thing that easily could have been discussed between both sides?

“I honestly don’t know what happened on the other side, but I do know we had expressed I have work on this film and in bonding this picture, that has to get cleared with SNL,” he said.

Killam will probably be best remembered for his impressions of Matthew McConaughey, Marco Rubio and Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy.

Pharoah, meanwhile, famously channeled such stars as Jay-Z, Will Smith, President Obama and GOP presidential hopeful Dr. Ben Carson.

Many thought he should have received more air time, although impersonations seemed to be the only trick in his (talented) bag.

Executive Producer Lorne Michaels is yet to comment on this casting news.

He’s expected to introduce many new main players over the next few weeks, with Season 42 set to bow in September.

Will you miss Taran Killam and Jay Pharoah on Saturday Night Live?

Hodor Shocker: The Internet"s Best Reactions to Game of Thrones" "Hold the Door!" Scene

If you didn"t catch last night"s episode of Game of Thrones, then proceed no further, as this article has more spoilers than the Iron Throne has sharp edges.

Come to think of it, even if you didn"t watch the scene with your own tear-clouded eyes, you"ve probably heard by now that Hodor is the latest GoT favorite to kick the bucket.

Not only was Bran"s gentle giant (presumably) torn apart by Walkers, but the tragedy was compounded by the Hodor origin story that the writers masterfully worked into the same scene.

"The interesting thing is it"s kinda left open. You don"t actually see him [die]. It"s implied," he said. "So who knows? He may come back as a White Walker, maybe he got away."

Yeah, thanks for trying to offer some hope, dude, but the thought of Hodor as a White Walker is pure nightmare fuel.

Check out some of the Internet"s best reactions to one of GoT"s most surprising twists yet in the gallery below, and watch Game of Thrones online at TV Fanatic to have your heart broken all over again.

And remember, Hodor morghulis – all Hodors must die.

1. Hodor Hodoring

2. Sarah Hyland Says It All

Sometimes the sight of a crying MJ perfectly sums up our feelings.

4. One Job

Yes, Hodor went out doing what he was meant to do. Some say that makes the situation less sad. The tears streaming down our face beg to differ.

5. Crying For Hodor

You nailed it, Drew at Hit Fix. Today, we weep for Hodor.

6. Hold the Door!

Pretty sure we’re gonna have to abolish the “hold the door” from the English language.

Kit Harington on Jon Snow Shocker: Sorry For Lying!

Okay, so maybe it wasn’t the show’s most shocking moment, as it was widely assumed [SPOILER ALERT!] that Jon Snow would be brought back from the dead by Melisandre.

Even so, the conclusion of last night’s episode of Game of Thrones packed an emotional punch, as we finally got to see the resurrection fans have been awaiting for the better part of a year.

As hard as the wait was for rabid Throners (Worst. Fan nickname. Ever.), the whole ordeal was even tougher on actor Kit Harington, who endured numerous press events in which he was basically forced to lie about his character’s fate.

In the above clip from Harington’s recent interview with Entertainment Weekly apologizes to fans for attempting (and failing) to throw them off the trail:

“Sorry!” Harington says. “I’d like to say sorry for lying to everyone. I’m glad that people were upset that he died. I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care.

“Or it would just be, ‘Fine, Jon Snow’s dead.’ But it seems like people had a, similar to the Red Wedding episode, kind of grief about it. Which means something I’m doing — or the show is doing — is right.”

With apologies to fans who were forced to DVR last night’s episode, the magazine revealed a super spoiler-iffic cover this morning:

Like we said, not exactly subtle, but by this point in the show’s run. even the most flaccid Throners should know to stay off social media the day after missing an episode.

(We’re gonna make that nickname happen, dammit!)

If you’re among the unlucky few who didn’t catch the episode live, we’ve got you covered:

Sure, you already know that Jon comes back from the dead, but that twist has overshadowed a number of much more genuinely shocking moments:

Ramsay found a way to become even more revolting! We got our first look at Jon’s possible mom, Lyanna Stark! Tyrion talked to the Khaleesi’s dragons! Best of all…

HODOR FREAKING TALKS, AND HIS NAME ISN’T EVEN HODOR!!!

Oh…uh, is it too late to say spoiler alert?

It’s probably a good time to go watch Game of Thrones online before we ruin any other surprises for you.

Pay close attention to the scene where Robb wakes up and realizes the Red Wedding was just a dream. Just kidding!

NCIS Shocker: Who is Leaving?

NCIS is about to lose another series regular.

Two years after Cote de Pablo exited the highest-rated show on network television, TV Line has confirmed that Michael Weatherly will depart the series after 13 seasons.

The actor will wrap up his run as Special Agent Tony DiNozzo this May.

“After 13 years on NCIS, Michael Weatherly is leaving the show at the end of this season,” reads a statement from CBS.

“He is a valued part of the CBS family, and the immense charm and talent he brings to the screen as ‘Very’ Special Agent Tony DiNozzo has helped make NCIS what it is today – the No. 1 drama in the world.”

The statement concluded:

“We thank Michael for all of his contributions to this successful franchise and look forward to continuing to develop projects him as part of our ongoing development deal.”

Upon seeing the news went public, Weatherly jumped on Twitter and wrote:

“DiNozzo is a wonderful, quixotic character and I couldn’t have had more fun playing him over the past 13 seasons…. [CBS Corp. CEO] Les Moonves and CBS gave me the opportunity of a lifetime. I will miss the amazing crew and cast, who are like family to me, and to the fans all over the world.

“THANK YOU, it’s been a fantastic ride!”

With Weatherly’s exit Mark Harmon, David McCallum and Pauley Perrette now represent the remaining original cast members on NCIS.

Scandal Abortion Shocker Slammed as "Moral Depravity" Run Amok

Forgive the obvious introduction, but Scandal finds itself embroiled in a pretty big scandal at the moment.

On Scandal Season 5 Episode 9 last night, the Shonda Rhimes-produced drama made it as clear as possible without showing the intimate details:

Olivia Pope got an abortion.

At one point during the hour, Kerry Washington’s main character lay down on a medical table with her legs spread open. A doctor then turned on a machine and began the procedure.

Lending credence to the belief that Pope was undergoing an abortion, the scene took place after a related storyline in which Senator Mellie Grant successfully filibustered to prevent a spending bill that could have led to the defunding of Planned Parenthood.

Prett risky move for the series, huh?

Pretty ridiculous and unethical move for the series, according to the Media Research Center.

“Hollywood’s liberal values permeate movies and television. Last night’s episode of ABC’s Scandal was pretty much an hour-long advertisement for Planned Parenthood,” wrote the conservative group, adding:

“In the most disturbing scene, the main character has an abortion to ‘Silent Night’ (a hymn celebrating the birth of Jesus) playing in the background.

“This is Hollywood’s moral depravity on full display.”

Conversely, Planned Parenthood released a statement of its own in regard to the unexpected development:

Tonight, the millions of people who tune into ‘Scandal’ every Thursday night learned that our rights to reproductive health care are under attack.

Never one to shy away from critical issues, Shonda Rhimes used her platform to tell the world that if Planned Parenthood lost funding for contraception counseling, STI testing, cancer screenings, and safe, legal abortion – millions of people would suffer.

And this episode wasn’t the first time one of Rhimes’ characters had an abortion, yet tonight we saw one of our favorite characters make the deeply personal decision that one in three women have made in their lifetime. We applaud Shonda Rhimes tonight – and every Thursday night – for proving that when women are telling our stories, the world will pause and watch.

We just hope those in Congress – and throughout the nation – who are steadfast on rolling the clock back on reproductive health care access are taking note.

You can watch Scandal online to see the abortion scene take place and then you can Comment below with your take:

Where do you stand on this dificult subject?

The Big Bang Theory Sex Shocker: Who"s Gonna Do It?!?

The Big Bang Theory has made it official:

Two characters are about to get their big bang on. And you may not believe who it will be.

In a statement posted to the CBS website, executive producer Steve Molaro has made it clear that Sheldon and Amy’s estrangement won’t be lasting for much longer.

We don’t know exactly what will bring the former couple back together.

We don’t know if they even will be technically back together next month, we just know this: their abstinence is about to be a thing of the past.

“After over five years of dating, we felt the time was right for Sheldon and Amy to finally consummate their relationship, and we’re so excited for the audience to see the journey over the next several episodes,” Molaro said on the site.

In case that wasn’t clear enough, another statement on the site reads very simply:

“Shamy is about to get physical, y’all.”

The taping of this major episode took place this week and it will air on Thursday, December 17 at 8/7c.

It’s safe to assume this will be the final episode before a holiday hiatus.

You can then watch The Big Bang Theory online all winter long to make sure your eyes did not deceive you; to verify that Sheldon and Amy truly did have sexual intercourse.

Because they really are about to, folks. This is really gonna happen on The Big Bang Theory Season 9.

Dancing with the Stars Results: The Biggest Shocker in History?!

With only six celebrities to go, would Monday night’s Dancing with the Stars provide some breathing room for the favorites, or produce another upset?

The remaining stars’ scores have all been fairly consistent, so it remained anyone’s Mirror Ball to win or lose … but boy, can this show deliver a shocker.

The stakes and emotions were particularly high in the ballroom as the remaining six couples each had to dance not once, but twice Monday.

First, individual routines – except Tamar Braxton, who was hospitalized and missed hers – and then paired routines matched in sets of two.

Amazingly, Tamar made it back for the latter, thus saving herself a legally mandated Kim Zolciak elimination-like ouster… but did it matter?

Was it enough to save her from the chopping block?

It was. And you will not believe who got the boot

Derek Hough and Bindi Irwin continued their domination of the dance floor, while Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas also had a terrific night.

Alexa’s husband, Carlos PenaVega, didn’t do as well with a Justin Bieber-themed tango, perhaps since everything Bieber touches is cursed.

Coming in one point ahead of Carlos and Witney were Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess, who wowed the crowd with their tight quickstep.

Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold continued to struggle, though at least they did better than Tamar, who hadn’t shown up at that point.

When it came time for the Showstopper routines, Alexa and Mark as well as Bindi and Derek killed it with a Chicago-inspired Charleston.

They landed a perfect 30, while Alec and Lindsay, along with Carlos and Witney, fell short with a paso doble to “We Will Rock You” by Queen.

Then, in a stunning twist, Tamar made it there to join Val, Nick, and Sharna for a rumba inspired by Cirque du Soleil’s Beatles show, Love.

The mere fact that pneumonia-addled Tamar made it to the stage was impressive – and directly led to one of the most shocking results ever.

Dancing with the Stars’ scoreboard from Showstopper Night:

  • Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough (Viennese waltz): 30/30

  • Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas (Contemorary): 30/30

  • Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess (Quickstep): 28/30

  • Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson (Argentine tango): 27/30

  • Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold (Salsa): 24/30

  • Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy (Contemporary): 22/30

Pretty clear hierarchy, yes? Either Alek or Tamar would go, no?

Oh no. We audibly gasped as Alexa PenaVega, who had just earned TWO perfect scores, would be going home this week. In tears, naturally.

“I wish it had been me,” her husband Carlos whispered in her ear.

“It’s okay,” Alexa said. “I’m just so happy we ended on this note.”

Amazing. Simply no words to describe this night in the ballroom.

What do you think? Did the right couple get eliminated? And who will take home the Mirror Ball title later this fall on Dancing with the Stars?
