Kim Kardashian SPEAKS OUT About Cocaine Rumors!
It’s not every day that a celebrity of Kim Kardashian’s standing has to scramble to shut down rumors over Twitter.
But after fans noticed something suspicious and out-of-place in one of Kim’s Snapchat videos, the reality personality and social media star took to Twitter in an effort to quash the story before it could take off.
We’ll see if that was enough to put the rumors to rest. …
So, that looks like a run-of-the-mill still from yet another Kim Kardashian Snapchat video.
She’s talking about her products dropping on the 17th and, you know, the usual Kardashian deal.
Remember, the Kardashians kept pushing their products even through the explosive start to the Rob Kardashian/Blac Chyna feud.
It’s kind of who they are, at this point.
Kim’s also, very obviously, using a Snapchat filter that adds a flower crown … and makes her look like some sort of frightening apparition.
(She can use whatever Snapchat filter she likes just like she can use whatever makeup she likes)
(But … it looks how it looks, and people are entitled to opinions)
So, that’s all business as usual … except, as some eagle-eyed fans noticed, for something that the mirror reveals.
Look in the reflection, at that black countertop.
Do you see the two streaks of what appears to be some sort of mysterious white powder?
It’s in the corner, right over her shoulder.
Some fans immediately wondered if they might be looking at a couple of lines of cocaine.
Today, Kim took to Twitter in an effort to shut down the rumors before they can really take off.
“I do not play with rumors like this so I’m gonna shut it down real quick.”
She’ll try, at least.
“That’s sugar from our candy mess from dylan’s candy shop.”
So, somebody’s sugary treat of some variety left a pair of somewhat linear messes on that countertop, and she didn’t think anything of it and didn’t want to wait for a cleaning lady to take care of it before plugging her products.
That’s … plausible, right?
Now, the Kardashians aren’t a perfect lot.
Khloe can be controlling, Kendall can be tone-deaf, Rob Kardashian may face criminal charges and his every move seems like an almost comical mistake by an unrelenting dumbass.
But Kris Jenner didn’t raise her daughters to carelessly flash drugs on Snapchat, you know?
And, if we’re being honest, coke doesn’t really seem like Kim’s style.
(Is this where we make an obligatory joke about Kendall Jenner’s infamous Pepsi commercial?)
(Get it? Because … coke? You know what, never mind)
Kim’s actually way less of a party girl than you’d think.
She claims to not even like the taste of alcohol.
(Though, like, you don’t have taste buds on the inside of your nose, but we get the idea)
Also, those look a little spread out to be lines of coke.
We feel like we might actually believe her here.
It’s not that we’ve never been surprised before, but Kim seems too judgmental about even something as simple as drinking to be much of a coke fiend.
(Though some people judge the hell out of others for drinking but don’t mind hard drugs, so you really never know)
But, though it wouldn’t rule out her covering for someone else, it seems totally plausible that Kim Kardashian being a busybody is her biggest vice.
Kim might regret her tweet, though.
Sometimes nothing fuels rumors more than a denial.
Jesse Williams Speaks on Controversial Divorce, Takes Haters to Task
Jesse Williams plays a doctor on Grey’s Anatomy.
Which is appropriate.
Because the actor carves his critics up with surgical precision in a new video titled “Footnotes for 4:44.”
The 35-year-old star – who is embroiled in a custody dispute with estranged wife Aryn Drake-Lee – opens up about his divorce in this 11-minute piece of footage, which went viral this week in promotion of Jay-Z’s new album.
Williams is featured in the video with such big-time celebrities as Chris Rock, Will Smith, Kendrick Lamar, Anthony Anderson, Aziz Ansari; all of whom discuss relationships, love and the pressure that comes with being in the public eye.
Although he never refers to Drake-Lee by name, Williams addresses infidelity rumors in the visual piece, telling his side of a painful story and lashing out at haters in the process.
“I was in a relationship 13 years, 13 real years, not 5 years, not 7 years, 13 years and all of a sudden mother f-ckers are writing think-pieces that I somehow threw a 13-year relationship… in the trash because a girl I work with is cute.”
Williams cites his split as “the most painful experience I’ve had in my life like with a person I’ve loved with all of my heart.”
Williams met his estranged wife when he was a teacher.
He explained to USA Today in 2010 that Drake-Lee “stuck with me through thick and thin.”
But this love story did not have a happy ending.
In June, Williams and his lawyer alleged that Aryn has refused his request for more time with the couple’s two kids, Maceo Williams and Sadie Williams.
In court document obtained by E! News, Williams said the following last month:
“Aryn restricts my time with the children and decides when, and for how long I may have them.
“She has rejected, without any reason, each and every request I have made to have the children sleepover at my residence.
“On the few days that I have the children, Aryn has insisted that my time with the children be limited during the week to approximately two and half hours per day, despite my requests for more time, including overnights with the children.”
As a result of his ex-lover’s actions, Williams told a judge he is “requesting a court order for a joint physical custody parenting plan.”
The actor is one of Hollywood’s most outspoken stars.
He received a tremendous amount of praise and made many positive headlines last summer after giving an inspiring speech at the BET Awards.

In response to Williams’ June statement and accusations against Drake-Lee, a lawyer for Aryn told E! News the following:
Protecting the privacy and well-being of their children is of paramount importance to Aryn Drake-Lee Williams.
It is unfortunate that Mr. Williams has chosen to draw public attention to this difficult time and transition for their family.
Aryn is solely interested in the best interests of their children, supporting a healthy relationship with both parents, and protecting the children’s privacy.
Therefore, she will not comment any further on Mr. Williams’ unilateral and unfortunate public allegations.

Blac Chyna Speaks on Rob Kardashian, Nude Photos: "I Was Devastated"
Blac Chyna has broken her silence on Rob Kardashian, her ex-fiance’s scathing Instagram posts last week and, of course, the nude photos that were included along with them.
But she hasn’t done it with a barrage of her own social media posts. Quite the opposite, actually.
Chyna appeared on Good Morning America on Monday, calmly addressing the ongoing scandal alongside high-powered attorney Lisa Bloom.
“I was devastated, of course. I’m like, how could somebody, like, post these pictures of me?” Chyna said on air of Rob sharing photos of her boobs, butt and vagina with the world.
Then reality star could face revenge porn charges for this actions, which he felt justified in taking because Chyna had allegedly been sleeping with him and a few other men at the same time.
“This is a person that I trusted. I confided. I felt comfortable, you know, with even sending these pictures and even talking to him about certain things, you know,” Chyna says in this same interview.
“I just felt … betrayed.”
Chyna and Rob got engaged in April of last year, spent the following summer documenting their romance on an E! reality show and welcomed a daughter named Dream in November.
They split good a couple months later.
“What had first initially attracted me to Rob, he was very sweet. Very caring,” Chyna told GMA, explaining of their relationship in its early stages:
“I felt as though he just really needed help without somebody pointing their finger. ‘Cause I know how that could be.”
Rob was coming off a long-time feud with his famous family members when he got together with Chyna. He was battling weight issues and self-confidence issues.
“I felt like I was that friend that never asked questions or judged him,” Chyna now says.
“And I was just always there for him. And that’s what kinda attracted me. We just had good times together. And what was the breaking point was when I actually let my guard down.”
Last Wednesday, Rob posted one Instagram message after another over the course of an hour span, bashing Chyna for her promiscuity, drug use and many plastic surgery operations.
He said he paid for Chyna’s lifestyle and had just recently had unprotected sex with her.
Hence his anger after his ex sent him a video of her kissing another man.
Amidst this sea of criticism, Rob shared lewd photos of Chyna.
One was of her vagina, because Kardashian alleged Blac had sent him the same image just a few days prior as a form of seduction.
One was of her boobs, because Rob alleged he had paid for their post-birth appearance.
And one was of her butt, for the same reason.
Later today, Chyna is expected to file for a restraining order against Kardashian, who may have crossed lines of legality as well as morality by flaunting these snapshots on social media.
Mere weeks after visiting Disney Land (below) with their child, Chyna and Rob have plummeted to the lowest point of their relationship.
Wrote Bloom in a statement on Friday:
“Mr. Kardashian, you are now on notice: revenge porn is illegal. Cyberbullying your ex is harassment.
“Chyna ended your relationship months ago and she has the right to live as she chooses, work as she chooses, dress as she chooses, and be intimate with who she chooses.
Concluded the attorney, who represented Mischa Barton earlier this year in a similar case after an ex-lover threatened to release a sex tape of the actress:
“Chyna and I both believe that this is an important women’s rights issue, as too many women and girls have been slut-shamed by exes. It stops now.
“Your attempts to shame and control her are hereby rejected. Her body, her choice. Her life, her choice. Back off.”

Billie Lourd Speaks Out about Carrie Fisher"s Toxicology Report
Look, we know that there’s always the temptation to not talk about Carrie Fisher’s toxicology report and to just leave her alone.
But she wouldn’t want us to, and you don’t have to take our word for it.
Take it from her daughter, Billie Lourd.
We all know that, drug-wise, Carrie Fisher had a little bit of everything in her system when she died.
Her daughter, Billie Lourd is speaking out about the toxicology report, and she’s honestly an inspiration.
We know that she must be hurting about it all, because how could she not be.
But her words are wise and a fitting tribute to her mother.
“My mom battled drug addiction and mental illness her entire life. She ultimately died of it.”
Technically, sleep apnea with other undetermined factors isn’t always drug use, but … drugs can take a hell of a toll on the body.
And when drug use and abuse is a direct result of mental illness, as is so often the case, you wonder if people ever stood a chance.
“She was purposefully open in all of her work about the social stigmas surrounding these diseases.”
It’s so important that Billie said that.
Carrie’s battle was a personal one but it wasn’t a secret.
“She talked about the shame that torments people and their families confronted by these diseases.”
It’s clear that Billie isn’t ashamed of the amazing woman her mom was.
“I know my Mom, she’d want her death to encourage people to be open about their struggles.”
That is the most extreme case of making good out of a bad situation that we’ve ever read.
But she’s right.
Carrie Fisher was so open all along because she hoped that, if she spoke about it, others would feel open to discuss their issues.
And to maybe do more than speak.
“Seek help, fight for government funding for mental health programs.”
That’s a great cause.
Maybe people will find places and donate in Carrie’s name.
Or at least in honor and memory of Carrie Fisher’s death.
But real change can only come through guaranteed funding from the state.
And, of course, in ending the stigma so that people aren’t afraid to seek help.
“Shame and those social stigmas are the enemies of progress to solutions and ultimately a cure. Love you Momby.”
Billie Lourd’s so well-spoken about her mother’s death.
She has her mother’s courage.
As much as she’s hurting — more than any of us, which is a lot — she’s not wasting any time in making sure that everyone understand what her mother stood for.
In the process, she’s putting her mother’s death and the factors that lead to it in a helpful context.
Because, just like her mother and grandmother, Billie Lourd is better than we deserve.
Anyway, we’re not crying, we’re just allergic to sadness.
Carrie Fisher was mentally ill and an addict for life.
That’s not the kind of struggle that even a phenomenal woman like Carrie overcomes overnight.
And that, medical and legal jargon aside, is how she came to die at 60.
We don’t need to dwell on the details of her final days.
But loving Carrie Fisher and her memory means accepting and understanding the complicated person she was.
And the battles that she fought — and ultimately lost — during her too-short life.

Bachelor in Paradise Scandal: A Contestant Speaks Out
What started as a seemingly humorous situation on Bachelor in Paradise has devolved into something far more serious.
On Sunday night, word spread around the Internet that producers had halted production on Season 4 of this ABC series, with a network spokesperson referencing “allegations of misconduct” between cast members.
Not much was known at the time of this original report.
But an insider then told TMZ that the cast members in question were Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson, probably the two most notorious former Bachelor and Bachelorette stars to sign on for this spinoff.
Olympios was eliminated by Nick Viall after taking off her top on many occasions and making endless sexual advances in an attempt to win Viall over.
Jackson, meanwhile, was just sent packing by Rachel Lindsay a couple weeks ago after she learned he still had a girlfriend.
According to this insider, producers told Olympios and Jackson to hook up because they believe it would be good for ratings.
Okay, sure, the reality show villains allegedly said, proceeding to go off and get very drunk together.
Soon enough, Olympios and Jackson were reportedly making out (hard!) prior to making their way over to a pool.
At this point, clothes came off and a source close to DeMario says there was “rubbing, touching and fingering,” most of which was initiated by Corinne.
She even thrust her crotch in Jackson’s face, at which point he started to lick.
Again, this is all according to a third party, anonymous source who spoke to TMZ.
At some point, the physical action came to a halt, largely because Jackson was unable to perform sexually due to the amount of alcohol he had consumed.
And this is where the controversy kicked in.
A producer who had been assigned to remain by Corinne’s side reported what she saw to executives.
She said it appeared as if Olympios was too drunk to control herself and questioned whether some kind of sexual assault took place in the pool.
In response, the network shut down production and sent the entire cast home.
Everyone except for Corinne and DeMario were spotted late last week at the Houston airport.
An investigation is underway to determine just what transpired and who is responsible, although various outlets insist that Olympios is NOT directing blame at DeMario.
He was also wasted during the hook-up.
The stars have supposedly been in touch since this incident went down and are on solid terms.
But Corinne has lawyered up, believes producers should have stepped in when it was clear she did not give consent and is considering a lawsuit of some kind.
As for the future of Bachelor in Paradise?
Noted franchise expert Reality Steve says with 100% certainty that this season will not air. (It had been scheduled to premiere on August 8.)
Speaking to People Magazine on the condition of anonymity, one Season 4 cast member said the following on Monday afternoon:
“We were told to stay in a certain part of the [resort] while they figured out what the hell had happened.
“We knew something bad had happened; there was a dark energy that came around the house.
“You have to understand that we weren’t even there a week. The game hadn’t even really begun yet.”
This same contestant went on to explain how no one really knew what was happening for two days after the drunken hook-up took place:
“They stopped taping anything, and we were just kind of there, waiting in limbo.
“We couldn’t talk to each other about what we knew. On Thursday, one of the camera guys told me that they were probably going to shut down production. I didn’t realize that it was that serious until then.
“I was like, ‘wait, they’re thinking of canceling the show?’ It hadn’t even crossed my mind that they’d do that.”
The contestants are paid a stipend to appear on Bachelor in Paradise; it’s contingent on how many episodes they last, meaning this abrupt cancelation will cost each person a decent chunk of change.
That’s unimportant in the big picture if any kind of assault or non-consensual act did take place, but it’s just another tidbit to consider.
“We’re pissed that this whole thing happened,” says the contestant. “They could have stopped this before it got this far.”
And that’s at the heart of the issue here.
What did producers see? What did they do? What did they not do? What responsibility do they have to make their presence felt during filming?
At least one witness tells Entertainment Tonight that Corinne and Olympios didn’t do anything that doesn’t happen all the time on this series.
They didn’t do anything that isn’t basically encouraged on the series.
“In the moment, they were both drinking,” this source says. “He’s a much bigger guy, but they were drinking all day. … They were all drunk.
“It’s the nature of the show.”

Ariana Grande"s Mother Speaks Out After Manchester Attack
It’s been just over a week since the Manchester terror attack which took place at the close of Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman concert.
In the week since the attack which killed 22 people and left more than 50 injured, it has been widely reported that Ariana’s mother, Joan Grande actually escorted fans backstage in a courageous act during the horrifying ordeal.
On Memorial Day, Joan took to Twitter to thank everyone for helping out during the bombing, while taking a moment to air her thoughts on Memorial Day.
“Thank you to all those who helped out in any way that night in Manchester,” she wrote. “I continually thank those who are & were in service protecting our freedoms every day all over the world! #MemorialDay.”
Ever since the attack on May 22, people have questioned when Ariana would return to Manchester. The star previously returned home to Boca Raton, Florida hours after the attack.
Ariana released a statement on May 26, which confirmed her intention to hold a benefit concert in the city.
“My heart, prayers and deepest condolences are with the victims of the Manchester Attack and their loved ones. There is nothing I or anyone can do to take away the pain you are feeling or to make this better. However, I extend my hand and heart and everything I possibly can give to you and yours, should you want or need my help in any way,” Ariana wrote in a statement.
“The only thing we can do now is choose how we let this affect us and how we live our lives from here on out.”
However, the singer and her mother are not taking any chances when it comes to security concerns, with pictures being released by TMZ showing that there is increased security at Joan’s home.
According to TMZ, the date for the benefit is Sunday, June 4, 2017, and that it will apparently be a star-studded affair with a string of celebrities set to take to the stage.
All proceeds from the benefit are said to be going to the victims and their families.
Ariana’s brother, Frankie Grande also opened up about his own thoughts on the attack.
“My prayers, thoughts, meditations & strength has been focused on those families and victims affected by the horrific tragedy in Manchester,” the Big Brother alum, 34, wrote. “I echo my sisters sentiment & say we can’t allow hate to propagate hate & fear to propagate fear but rather come together & spread a message of love, unity, & empowerment.”

Aaron Hernandez: Alleged Gay Lover Speaks Out, Demands to See Suicide Note
It’s been one month since Aaron Hernandez was found dead inside his cell at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Massachusetts.
The matter remains under investigation, and while Hernandez left three suicide notes explaining his motives, the letters have raised as many questions as they’ve answered.
For starters, there’s the matter of to whom the notes were addressed.
We know that Hernandez wrote to his fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins.
In it, he promised Jenkins that she would soon be wealthy, a comment that’s led to speculation that Hernandez timed his suicide so as to exploit a legal loophole.
The former NFL tight end seemed to be aware that if he died while his murder conviction was in the appeals stage, he would be posthumously deemed not guilty, meaning that Patriots organization might be forced to dole out massive payments to the beneficiaries of his will.
The intended recipients of the other two letters remains in question.
Several media outlets have reported that one of the notes was addressed to Hernandez’s 4-year-old daughter, while the other was intended for either his lawyer or Kyle Kennedy, a prison friend and alleged lover of Hernandez’s.
The letters are being held by prison authorities as part of their investigation, so the matter remains unsettled.
Now, Kennedy is demanding that he be allowed to view the contents of the note that he believes is addressed to him.
“I want to be clear that at no time have I seen a note addressed to me from my close friend Aaron Hernandez but I have reason to believe it was in fact intended for me,” reads a statement issued by Kennedy and published today by Radar Online.
“It was the press that first reported that this letter was sent to me and as a result, my attorney, Larry Army Jr., has repeatedly requested a copy for us to review.”
Kennedy acknowledged that it’s still unclear who the intended recipient of the letter is, and he believes the only way that question can be decisively answered is if authorities release Hernandez’s final communications:
“The story about who this letter was sent to has changed several times, but based upon the close relationship that I had with Aaron, it is highly likely that it was in fact intended for me,” Kennedy writes.
“I again renew my request to have the letter released to my attorney so we can put this issue to rest.”
As for the question of whether or not there was a romantic element to Hernandez and Kennedy’s relationship, the inmate says he’ll address the matter publicly following his release from prison:
“In addition, my attorney has spoken at length about the watch that Aaron told me he was leaving to me as a gift. I have no further comment on that issue at this time,” Kennedy’s statement reads.
“There has been a lot said about me and my personal life in recent weeks, some of it accurate and some of it not. I remain incarcerated at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley but at the appropriate time, I will address these issues and set the record straight.”

Christoper Boykin Death: Ex-Wife of Beloved Reality Star Speaks Out
The ex-wife of Christoper Boykin released a statement in the wake of this former reality star’s surprising death.
As previously reported, Boykin died on Tuesday at the age of 45, with sources now confirming he passed away from a heart attack.
This isn’t shocking for someone who stood six feet, six inches tall and weighed well over 300 pounds.
But it doesn’t make Boykin’s death any easier for his friends, family members and loved ones to deal with.
The former U.S. Navy member and bodyguard of professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek rose to fame in 2006 when he debuted on the MTV reality series Big & Rob.
The show lasted until 2008, chronicling the wacky lives of its two main stars as they played pranks on each other, engaged in various forms of hijinks and generally just had a great time together.
Boykin went on to make appearances on other MTV programs, such as Fantasy Factory, and solidified his reputation as a good friend to those in the rap community.
His death has clearly left a void in the lives of many.
“My heart is broken,” Dyrdek wrote on Twitter last night in response to the awful news, following this message up with a few more:
“I don’t want to write this post. I don’t want to believe that this is reality. I am so thankful for you.
“We truly were brothers that lived an unexpected unforgettable adventure. I just can’t fathom that it would end so suddenly.
“You will forever be in my heart.”
On Wednesday morning, meanwhile, Shannon Turley took to her ex-husband’s Twitter account to express her sadness over Boykin’s death.
The two were parents to a nine-year old daughter named Isis.
“This is Shannon, Big Black’s ex-wife,” Turley. “I’m heartbroken to tell you of Black’s passing. He’s everything to me and Isis and we will miss him.”
Boykin and Turley divorced in 2009.
Known to the public and also to those close to him as “Big Black,” Boykin posted numerous photos of his little girl on his Facebook page over the years.
He most recently shared one last August, just as she was starting a new school year.
“3rd Grade Ice you growing too fast,” he wrote as a caption to the sweet image.
Rapper Chanel West Coast was also saddened by Boykin’s death.
“RIP @bigblack1972,” she wrote on Instagram after learning the news, adding:
“My heart is crushed hearing this news. I’ll never forget all the times you made me laugh. So many epic memories with you.
“You put smiles on a lot of people’s faces and you will be missed dearly by SO many.
“My prayers go out to your family and loved ones. Keep them laughing up in heaven.”
Steelo Brim (of the series Ridiculousness) also shared a touching post on his Instagram:
“My brain can’t truly comprehend this. As soon as we met we became friends. Genuine, Funny, Family Man, just an Overall Great guy.
“May God Rest his soul and he make everyone in heaven smile like he did on earth! LOVE!”
And, finally, MTV released the following statement as a tribute to Big Black:
MTV is deeply saddened to learn the news of Christopher ‘Big Black’ Boykin’s passing.
He was a long time and beloved member of the MTV family and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends at this time.

Lena Dunham Reveals Hospitalization, Speaks Out on Trump Care
Here’s something that won’t surprise you:
Like the majority of the civilized world, Lena Dunham is no fan of the odious GOP-backed legislation commonly referred to as “Trump Care.”
Here’s something that probably will surprise you:
During Monday night’s 2017 Met Gala, Dunham was rushed to the hospital shortly after walking the red carpet.
Dunham suffers from endometriosis, a chronic illness affecting the female reproductive system that often results in chronic pelvic pain and infertility.
The actress and writer underwent a fifth surgical procedure in April with the goal of alleviating her symptoms for good, but apparently she experienced complications the night of the gala.
Yesterday, Dunham shared a photo from her hospital bed in which her custom Elizabeth Kennedy dress can be seen in the background.
She posted the pic alongside some thoughts about healthcare in America:
“Thank you for all the love & concern that’s been pouring in since Tuesday. Although I’m much healthier than I was a year ago, complications arose from my most recent endometriosis surgery,” Lena wrote on Instagram.
“When the healthcare of so many American women, especially our trans sisters, is at-risk- or already nonexistent- I am lucky to be in the position to seek help when I’m in pain.”
She added:
‘To those in that privileged spot- never forget that we are blessed and can pay it forward by supporting Planned Parenthood and LGBTQ clinics like Callen-Lorde with our [money] and [time].
Dunham went on to offer words of encouragement to other women who are suffering from chronic illnesses:
“I also want to remind all the women suffering from chronic illness that we aren’t weak- quite the opposite, actually. We do our jobs with skill even when we’re struggling.
“We care families even when we can hardly care for ourselves. We serve major face on a red carpet when we feel like lying face down would be more appropriate.”
Dunham went on to address recent the recent controversies at Fox News, pointing out that on-air personality Diana Falzone recently sued the network for allegedly discriminating against her as a result of her endometriosis diagnosis:
“Just that morning @dianafalzone sued Fox after they took her off air for disclosing her endometriosis,” Dunham wrote.
“But they’re the ones who lost when they fired her, because everyone who’s anyone knows that if you can battle chronic illness there’s nothing you can’t take on.”
Powerful words from a powerful woman.
Fortunately, Lena says that despite the recent setback she’s healthier than ever these days.

Chris Soules Speaks on Fatal Crash, Sends Prayers to Victim
Chris Soules has broken his silence on the fatal car crash that took a fellow motorist’s life in Iowa on Sunday night.
The former ABC Bachelor reportedly rear-ended a tractor trailer with his pickup truck near Aurora around 8:20 p.m., causing both vehicles to fly into a ditch and the driver of the second vehicle to be killed a result.
His name was Kenneth Mosher and he was 68 years old.
Soules is then accused of illegally fleeing the scene, which is why he was placed under arrest at 1:16 a.m. on Monday.
The ex-reality star has been charged with leaving the scene of a fatal car accident that left one individual dead.
(He was not charged with driving under the influence, although sources claim Soules was in possession of alcohol at the time of the crash.)
Several hours after this sad news went public, a spokesperson for Soules submitted the following statement to People Magazine:
Chris Soules was involved in an accident Monday evening (April 24) in a rural part of Iowa near his home.
He was devastated to learn that Kenneth Mosher, the other person in the accident, passed away. His thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Mosher’s family.

According to TMZ, Mosher was transported to a local hospital after the accident, where he was eventually pronounced dead by doctors due to injuries suffered in the crash.
Soules was also treated for injuries, but they are not believed to be serious.
It is also unclear at this time whether Soules turned himself in to the police or whether they apprehended him at home or while he was attempting to make a run for it.
Soules appeared before a judge in Buchanan County Court yesterday morning and was released on $ 10,000 bond, pending trial.
It is believed he actually knew the victim, based on an interview Radar Online conducted with an Iowa resident named Richard Roepke.
“Everyone around here is in shock,” Roepke told Radar, referring to the incident as a “huge mistake” and adding of Soules:
“He knew them, they’re neighbors… We’re feeling very sad, everyone knows Chris’ family.”
Soules came in third place on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette.
He was then named The Bachelor for Season 19, proposing to Whitney Bischoff on an emotional finale and talking openly during his run about a troubled past that included arrests for DUI and other disorderly acts of conduct.
Following The Bachelor, Soules competed on Dancing with the Stars and on a show called Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition.
He disappeared from the spotlight about a year ago, seemingly content to live life as a farmer in Iowa.
In response to this tragedy, Bischoff also spoke People.
“This is a very sad situation,” she said, not mentioning her former fiance by name, yet concluding:
“I’m keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers, especially the victim and his family.”
Soules and Bischoff called off their engagement in May of 2015, just two months after their on-air proposal and not very long after Soules was eliminated on Dancing with the Stars.

Amber Portwood Speaks Out on Matt Baier Abuse Allegations
Earlier this week, we reported on allegations that Amber Porwood abused Matt Baier several times throughout their relationship.
The allegations came from none other than Baier himself, who shared photos of his battered and bloodied face with an unidentified friend, and claimed that Portwood was responsible.
After the pics unexpectedly went public, Baier claimed that they were several years old and taken during a previous relationship.
Unfortunately for him, the Teen Mom sleuths were already on the case, and details like Matt’s glasses and the poster in the background tipped them off that these pics were no more than a year old.
Yesterday, Baier spoke out on the allegations, claiming that the accusations against Amber are the result of a vast media conspirac.
We assume he’s since been offered a job in the Trump White House:
“The rumor that’s circulating is both vicious and completely false,” Baier said.
“I can’t stand by and allow the media or anyone else to undermine the progress that Amber has made in turning her life around, or the relationship we’ve worked hard to build together.”
Baier went on to change his story and admit that the pics are recent, but now he now claims they’re the result of “roughhousing” with friends.
Last night, Amber spoke about the allegations for the first time, and she’s also accusing fans and the press of undermining the progress that she’s made by suggesting she beat the hell out of her fiance:
“Five years ago I made the decision to choose prison over rehab in order to fully turn my life around,” Portwood said in a statement issued to E! News.
“Since then I’ve worked hard to make serious changes for myself, for my daughter, and for all the fans who supported me.”
Amber added:
“I’m saddened by the latest rumors, which are both untrue and unfounded, but plan to continue to stay focused on my recovery and being the best person I can be for everyone in my life.
“In spite of everything I am truly blessed and will keep going on the positive path I set forth on.”
The statement assumes that just because someone is generally on an upward trajectory, they won’t occasionally backlide.
Portwood has a history of violence and abuse, so when people see photos of her significant other looking bruised and battered, they’re going to suspect she had something to do with it.
And vague platitudes about self-improvement probably won’t be enough to convince anyone of Amber’s innocence.

Christina El Moussa Speaks on Divorce: Where Did It All Go Wrong?
Christina El Moussa went head-to-head with Tarek El Moussa this morning.
Both halves of the estranged couple – who still hosts Flip or Flop on HGTV together, despite their December divorce filing – appeared on quasi news programs, speaking for the first time publicly about their split.
Christina, for instance, appeared as a guest on Good Morning America, generally referring to the tabloid chatter that’s been surrounding the reality stars of late and saying:
“There’s a lot of false stories and a lot of hype, but in the end we’re just normal, nice people who just want to be the best parents and coworkers that we can be.”
Tarek and Christina are parents to an 18-month old named Brayden and a six-year old named Taylor.
Speaking to The Today Show, Tarek reiterated the former couple’s commitment to their kids.
“We have to make sure we remain friendly because we have to make sure they have good parents,” Tarek says in the following clip:
Christina, meanwhile, is also featured on the cover of this week’s People Magazine.
She goes into detail about her and Tarek’s break-up for the first time within this issue’s pages.
“Like any couple, we had our share of issues,” Christina tells the publication. “But we went through a lot in a short amount of time.”
She and Tarek separated in May following a scary incident that involved an argument, a gun and the police.
The news of their separation went public a few months later, at which time they issued a joint statement that made it seem as if they were on solid terms.
“Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage,” the pair said in December, adding:
“We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed.”
Flip or Flop launched on HGTV in 2013.
Not long afterward, Tarek learned he had thyroid cancer.
As he went through radiation treatment, Christina also started a difficult struggle to get pregnant via in vitro fertilization and suffered a miscarriage in 2014.
Little Brayden was then born, and Christina returned to work just four weeks later.
“It was too soon for me,” she tells People.
“I was overwhelmed. The tension between me and Tarek was high. “We weren’t able to properly communicate anymore. It got to the point where we weren’t even driving to set together.”
By the time the El Moussas confirmed their split to the public, they had been living apart for six months.
So the announcement felt like a “weight” had been lifted off Christina, she says.
What about talk that she’s now sleeping with Gary Anderson, the family’s ex-contractor?
“Tarek and I don’t discuss each other’s personal lives,” she says.
“It is what it is and we are going through a divorce and eventually we will be dating other people. I’m happy for him and whatever steps he takes in his life and I just hope he’s happy.”
As for the most important people in all this? The stars’ two young children? Says Christina:
“Our kids are amazing … Our kids are transitioning well.
“Tarek and I are friends and we have a lot of support from our family. The kids are doing great.”
