Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 14 Recap: In the Closet

Monday on Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 14, Schwartz voiced his opinions about his bachelor party, while Katie raged at Scheana.

Elsewhere, Stassi was given more relationship advice, but if you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you know how that typically goes.

The wedding of Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz and the lead-up to that epic event was bound to the focal point of this entire season.

Still, could anyone imagine just how big of a disaster of an experience it would be? Okay, everyone could’ve, but seeing it play out?

Wow. Just wow.

To wit, Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 14 focused on a spa day, which had to be the most stressful and least enjoyable ever.

Prior to that, we learned that Katie and Tom forgot to put room on their wedding invitations for people to include … wait … their names.

They may know the number of guests, in other words, but they don’t know who’s coming. Minor details. If only that was as bad as it got …

Katie, falling more into the traditional Bridezilla role by the minute, ominously tells Kristen Doute that people “need to start falling in line.”

Uhh, okay Steve Bannon.

Ariana Madix, meanwhile, fills Lisa Vanderpump in on what happened at James Kennedy’s DJ set, as if LVP weren’t already well aware.

Oh, and Tom Sandoval is attempting to reboot his modeling career … with a shoot at Joe Simpson’s house. Can’t make this stuff up.

Tom Schwartz, who tags along, is star-struck by Jessica’s father. Sandoval is just star-struck by himself, or the feeling he gets at least.

“When I get my photo taken, it’s giving my soul life,” Sandoval says, and as ridiculous as that is, we gotta say we love the guy for it.

He is unabashedly himself.

Plus, Tom and Ariana are downright normal compared to other couples on this show, namely James and Raquel, who has trust issues.

James is still somehow denying he cheated on her even though everyone saw it and there are photos of it, but hey, it’s Trump’s America.

Lie enough and people start to buy it, or grow too exhausted by refuting the lie that they resign themselves to quieting down, or both.

In other toxic couple news, Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor take her mother’s advice and go to church. The sermon is about anger.

Stassi, while this is going on, is at her mother Dayna’s house, showing us a rare selfless side of her caring for her mom post-hysterectomy.

Her brother Nikolai, 11, counsels Stassi about her split with Patrick. For Schroeder, an 11-year-old’s advice might actually be an improvement.

After a brief interlude in which Tom plays a hologram in Peter’s new sci-fi movie (let that sentence sink in for a sec) it’s bridal shower time.

Also known as unrelaxing spa day time.

Scheana attempts to strike a peace accord between Ariana and Stassi, which worked well until Katie issued more threats about negativity.

The irony is lost on her, apparently.

As Katie rails and warns against toxic attitudes and bad behavior among members of her bridal party, the accused finally speak out.

Scheana brings up that Katie is a mean when she drunk texts, which leads to a fight and a sad reminder that they are like 30 years old.

Seriously. Thirty years old.

Finally, on the bachelor party side, Schwartz’s (or the producers’) request is for the guys to dress in drag on their New Orleans trip.

Thus, they head over to Lisa’s (where else, because it’s clearly the producers’ idea) to try on the boss’ finest dresses and jewels.

All is right with the world, until Tom and Katie get into yet another argument later in which she’s upset about him defending Ariana.

As she storms out, leaving Tom alone with the check he would probably bounce if he paid by check, we have to wonder aloud:

Lala Kent Goes OFF on Vanderpump Rules Cast: You Slut Shamed Me and Are Awful People!

Kent just went off on the Vanderpump Rules cast in an online tirade, accusing them of slut-shaming her and basically being terrible people.

Amid speculation of why she’s leaving the hit Bravo show, and whether it has to do with dating a married man, Kent issued this tweet:

Rumors of Lala Kent dating a married man (who allegedly bought her a Range Rover among other expensive gifts) is at the crux of this.

It runs deeper than that, though, according to Lala, who says she’s been shamed regarding her sexuality from day one – based on nothing.

“Y’all did slut shame me,” Lala began her rant.

“From the second I walked onto the show … U had 0 facts. Not one thing you said was 100% factual. That’s the part that hurt my feelings most.”

“It was a game of telephone and y’all took it and didn’t care what was actually real and what wasn’t. Shame on you,” she went on.

“The disgusting human-beings are you people.”

“Why would anyone want to be honest with any of you! Have you seen how you have treated each other?” Kent asked rhetorically.

“You bailed on your best friend because you didn’t like the group. You punch your friend in the face because she slept with your man.”

“But I’m supposed to be a saint to you after none of you have been kind to me? You’re delusional,” Lala said, raising some solid points.

If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you know this is one of the shadiest, most promiscuous, sophomoric groups of people in history.

And honestly, we love them for that.

The idea that any of these residents of glass houses are throwing rocks at newcomers is ridiculous though, as Ms. Kent dutifully notes.

Her missive comes just after Stassi Schroeder wrote that “expressing distaste for someone for dating a married family man is slut shaming?”

“I’m so baffled by this,” Stassi said.

“Tapping out of this convo.”

Sure you are, Stassi.

Schroeder and Kent have been engaged in a war of words from the start, with Stassi blasting her as a liar and a nobody earlier this month.

It appears that the increasingly mysterious Lala actually has tapped out – not just from this debate but from the lifestyle of a reality starlet.

Lala quit the show, and has rarely appeared on camera in recent weeks, though she will reportedly return for at least one more episode.

The rest of the cast remains intrigued by her affair, and of the mystery man’s identity – perhaps even more so now that she’s bounced.

So who is the alleged sugar daddy bestowing gifts upon our girl?

Unconfirmed speculation has linked Kent to producer Randall Emmett, 45, who is indeed married (to actress Ambyr Childers).

The speculation began when former co-star Schroeder jokingly tweeted at her adversary to “give Randall a big kiss for me.”

Given that piece of information, Vanderpump Rules obsessives quickly uncovered a number of clues (however circumstantial).

Lala and Randall have been photographed together, first off …

She also deleted a photo of her kissing a man whose face had been blocked out after fans felt they found clues “proving” it was Emmett.

Bracelets worn by the man in said pic match those worn by Randall on other occasions, according to Kent’s legion of social media fans.

Some of the so-called compelling evidence does seem credible.

Does it matter, though? Kent has made her decision to bail on Bravo, and we’re guessing Lala won’t soon be issuing any sort of response.

Kent is reportedly making people sign NDAs regarding her boyfriend, which tells you she really, really does not want this getting out.

That and quitting a hot reality TV gig. You know she’s serious.

Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 13 Recap: The Ambush

Monday on Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 13, Schwartz decided it was high time for one of his co-stars’ ongoing feuds to end.

Which feud would that be? And how did his fiancee feel about Tom – of all people, the most awful at conflict resolution – meddling in this?

If you watch Vanderpump Rules online or read anything about the cast, you know there are so many feuds at a given time, it’s maddening.

Tom Schwartz, ever an astute observer, noted that fellow cast members Ariana Madix and Stassi Schroeder aren’t really getting along.

Naturally, he decided to bring them together.

“I don’t want to make this a bigger deal than it already is, but I want to make sure you guys are cool,” Tom said of his awkward group date.

Ariana denied having a problem with Stassi.

Stassi was not willing to be as nonchalant.

“It felt abrasive to just look at me and be like, ‘I don’t give a f–k about you,’” Stassi insisted, referring to Katie’s infamous bridal shower. 

“What do you want me to do?” she asked. “I mean, if I wanted to be friends with her, then yeah, I would give a f–k about her opinion.”

Yikes. Clearly, that’s not where Ariana is.

If that wasn’t enough awkwardness for the week, Schwartz and his soon-to-be wife, Katie Maloney, sat down to hammer out their prenup.

Hilarious, given Schwartz’s “finances.”

“Katie has more money than me right now,” Tom said of his proposed agreement, “But who knows how much money we’ll have in the future?”

Meanwhile, Katie’s bridal party gathered (minus Katie) together to plan her bachelorette party, settling on New Orleans as Option A.

Scheana Shay protested. Why?

Because of Stassi Schroeder, who Scheana feared would hijack the whole thing if she were allowed to plan a getaway to the Big Easy:

“I just want it to be a collective trip … no offense, but if we’re in New Orleans, I just feel like you’re going to take over the whole thing.”

Stassi, a New Orleans native, responded indignantly, “Um, why wouldn’t I be planning this trip if we’re going to New Orleans?”

“I’m the only one here who’s from New Orleans.”

A fair point; Scheana believed, however, that Stassi was just using the bachelorette party as a way to make Katie’s wedding all about her.

“Cool, Queen Stassi’s back,” Scheana said.

“Kill me.”

Elsewhere, Brittany Cartwright’s mother, a conservative Christian, left town after confronting Jax Taylor about his “homosexual” past.

“I’ve never gone down that road before,” Jax said, annoyed and defensive. “If you wanna believe what you wanna believe, that’s fine.”

Plenty of people do believe the Jax Taylor gay rumors, but whether they’re true or not, Brittany called her boyfriend out for his “attitude.”

Jax stormed out, only to return at his girlfriend’s urging, at which point he was lectured again by Brittany’s mom about joining the church.

“Maybe I do need Jesus!” Jax said with an eye roll.

James Kennedy, for his part, feels his prayers have been answered, as he told the Bravo cameras that Raquel was the love of his life.

“I could bring models home every night if I want to,” the ever-modest Kennedy insisted. “But I’m not going to do that. I’m going to commit.”

Not if Jax, Scheana and Kristen have anything to say about it, as the trio staged an intervention of sorts to expose his cheating ways.

They assembled James’ alleged “groupies” (girls who claim James boned them, which he denies) to introduce themselves to Raquel.

At his DJ gig. Because that’s totally normal.

Quite displeased, James told one of his supposed paramours, “Baby, I would never have sex with you … look at you! You’re disgusting.”

Straight out of the Donald Trump playbook.

As Jax smiled at his machinations, someone hurled a drink at him. You’re always one drink to the face away from a mood swing if you’re Jax.

Vanderpump Rules Homophobia Controversy Erupts on Social Media

If you watched Vanderpump Rules last night, you known that the highlight of the episode was unquestionably the roast of Jax Taylor.

For the most part, the cast showed some surprising comedic chops in skewering the West Coast’s answer to The Situation

Unfortunately, as is often the case at this sort of event, someone crossed the line into decidedly “not cool” territory – and surprisingly, it was a member of the audience.

As fans of the show know, rumors about Jax being gay have been circulating for years.

At this point, it’s sort of a running gag amongst the group of frenemies, and while there may be problematic undertones, it seems that the humor isn’t rooted in homophobia, but rather in the notion that Jax used to exchange sexual favors for rent money.

But that’s not the way Brittany Cartwright’s mother sees it.

If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, then you’re aware that Brittany’s mom, Cherrie, is an ultra-conservative, deeply religious woman who’s less than thrilled about her daughter’s choice of suitor.

Remarkably, however, she was unconcerned about the allegations that Jax loves cocaine, cheated on every girlfriend he’s ever had, and has served time behind bars on numerous occasions.

What did bother her, however, was what she described as the “homosexual stuff.”

Jax’s alleged past as a male escort made its way into the night’s stand-up routines, and each time, Cherrie made no effort to conceal her chagrin.

“He’s slept with many, many women,” Tom Schwartz joked about Jax at one point. “And a few men!”

Cherrie grimaced as her daughter jokingly (we think) covered her ears.

Several cast members and producer Andy Cohen have defended Cherrie, claiming that she was simply upset by the idea that her possible future son-in-law might be attracted to other 

But in addition to being rooted in a dangerous stereotype about bisexual men, that excuse doesn’t hold water for two reasons:

Cherrie wasn’t upset about the many anecdotes regarding Jax’s infidelity with other women, and she was also outraged by the jokes about Brittany hooking up with Kristen.

Taking place, as it does, in West Hollywood, and featuring as one of its stars the owner of a prominent area gay club, Vanderpump is usually a pretty progressive, liberal-minded show.

(Though the cast rightfully took some flak for reacting to the Orlando nightclub shooting for turning up and dancing on top of bars.)

So fans were upset not only by Cherrie’s homophobic views, but the cast’s defense of her comments.

“Britt & her mom are HUGE #LGBTQ activists,” Stassi Schroeder tweeted during the show.

“Any mom would be concerned if she heard her daughter’s bf might not be ‘into her."”

As we’re reminded every time we see some jackass with a Pepe the Frog meme as his avatar, there is still a lot of hate in America, and some of us are forced to confront it within our own homes or social circles.

Except for in extreme cases, that doesn’t mean that we have to condemn the bigoted parties and sever ties.

But it also doesn’t mean that we have to defend them or make excuses on their behalf.

The way forward is to acknowledge hate and backward ideas and try to help our prejudiced pals see the error of their ways.

Considering Jax and Brittany just landed a spinoff, we get the sense that this a position Mr. Taylor (who’s actually shown himself to be admirably right-minded on this particular issue) will find himself in more often in the years to come.

Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 12 Recap: Jax Gets Roasted

On Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 12, Scheana Marie Shay opened up to her friends about the trouble with her marriage to Mike.

Meanwhile, Tom Sandoval celebrated his 33rd birthday with a fundraiser, and Kristen Doute hosted an epic roast in honor of Jax Taylor.

That was guaranteed to upset Brittany Cartwright, and did.

If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you know Jax has done a lot of bad things. We’re talking 37 years of borderline human garbage.

So why not put on an event to rehash them all?

“It’s actually brave of Kristen to want to host this roast where everyone’s going to talk about all the horrible things Jax has done,” Ariana said.

“Half [of them] have been with Kristen!”

His girlfriend Brittany Cartright’s mother happened to be in town, so naturally, she was invited to come along … to Jax’s obvious chagrin.

“We all have a little past,” Jax acknowledged, stating the obvious: “Mine is just a lot worse than some people’s. I mean, I didn’t kill anybody!”

Brittany was unsure how her wholesome, Kentucky-raised Christian mom would react to the inevitable, graphic sex details and jokes.

We soon got to find out.

“Well, if you pleased your girl she wouldn’t have had to jump in bed with Kristen,” Tom roasted Jax, regarding her alleged lesbian fling.

Oddly, Brittany’s mom was more offended about a joke that suggested Jax may have kissed a man than the idea of Kristen and Brittany.

“Kissing a guy?!” Brittany’s mom recoiled after the Jax Taylor gay rumors. “That was the most offensive to me, the homosexual thing.”

Fortunately, the LVP came to the rescue, with the SUR shot-caller hurling a series of Jax insults via video message. And it was epic.

“I hope in the future you spend more time behind my bar than you do behind bars,” Lisa burned her employee. “Happy birthday, Jax.”

For Tom Sandoval’s birthday, “I’m not just having a rager, I’m doing a fund-rager” for Project Elev8, to provide education for kids in Haiti. 

A noble cause, if ever there were one.

Of course, that doesn’t mean it would be drama free, as Tom warned Ariana in advance that he invited Stassi Schroeder to the fund-rager.

Ariana said she could let bygones be bygones, at least for charity and for one night, but Scheana Shay could make no such guaranatees.

Calling out James Kennedy about his cheating ways in front of his girlfriend, Raquel Leviss, she went looking to stir the pot and succeeded.

James simply blamed the rumor that he cheated on Raquel with an employee on “DJ groupies” lying for attention. Anyone buying that?

Raquel told Scheana that she knew about the rumors, thank you very much, and made it very clear that she believed James. So step off.

“Kudos to James,” Scheana said later, nonplussed. “He found the one beautiful, dumb as f–k girl who will believe all of his lies.”

Scheana’s relationships were all spiraling out of control this week.

Not just with her friends, either. She confessed that her marriage to Mike Shay was beginning to take a disturbing turn, worrying her.

“I’ve been feeling really lonely lately because everything with Shay and I was so good, but he’s not around as much,” she told Ariana.

Then, to Katie’s surprise, she whined about being a bridesmaid.

“I just feel it’s very tacky,” Katie told the cameras after Scheana complained about the cost of the dress, the bridal shower and the wedding.

“Scheana, were you raised by wolves?” Stassi said at one point.

A fair question, the way things are going for the star of late.

Meanwhile, which just a few weeks to go until their wedding day, Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz got into another full-blown fight.

How bad? Schwartz called Katie a “bitch” at a paint store.

Katie stormed out of the store, got in her car and peaced.

“You can just call an Uber,” Katie yelled out the window as she peeled out, leaving him in the dust. “If I’m such a bitch, then I’ll be a bitch.”

Rough. But in typical fashion, they were fine hours later.

Tom brushed this off as just another “casual Thursday,” but Lisa countered that “You’re getting married in a few weeks, for God’s sake!”

Bottom line? They need to chill, therefore Katie sought a medical marijuana card and couldn’t believe the number of edible THC offerings.

Good times in LA.

Jax Taylor: Vanderpump Rules Spinoff In Jeopardy?

The prospect of a Vanderpump Rules spinoff featuring Jax Taylor is definitely one of the more intriguing reality TV series in the works. 

Drama makes reality TV and Jax knows a thing, or ten about that. If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you will know that the show would not be the same without him on it. 

He may be one of those people that most hate, but he’s nowhere near as annoying as James Kennedy. Regardless of what you think of Mr. Taylor, Bravo is betting big on his spinoff. 

We previously reported on details of the series a few months back, but we’re now hearing that Bravo is worried that the series might be rendered redundant if Jax and Brittany Cartwright end their relationship. 

Brittany is co-starring on the series with Jax, with the pair living in Kentucky throughout production. That’s the place Brittany moved to L.A. from to be Jax’s girlfriend. 

Rumors of the pair having relationship issues is nothing new. On the most recent season of Vanderpump Rules, Brittany has been upset about Jax spreading rumors about her. 

Seriously, one of the rumors goes as far as stating that Jax walked in on Kristen Doute going down on Brittany. I mean, his claims don’t hold much water when you consider the fact that he’s a well-known liar. 

Kristen and Brittany have admitted to making out, but they drew a line at that. Jax is kind of like the boy who cried wolf, so anybody kind of has a tough time understanding whether he’s being genuine with them.

Apparently, Cartwright’s family will play instrumental roles on the offshoot. They will be trying to push for the couple to get married, but Jax is allegedly not ready to commit to staying with Brittany for the rest of his life. 

That’s got to send alarm bells Brittany’s way. There’s no word yet on whether any other stars of Vanderpump Rules will appear, but you can bet your bottom dollar that Lisa Vanderpump will show up to tell Brittany to ditch Jax and find someone who is husband material. 

The chances of Jax wanting to settle down in the near future are pretty much nil. All he seems to care about is flirting with all of the new staff members of SUR. 

If you are a fan of Vanderpump Rules, you will probably recall Jax romancing Lala Kent while Brittany was out of town. We also got to witness just how manipulative he could be. 

He successfully managed to put all of the blame on Lala and never got his comeuppance until the Season 4 reunion specials. 

Don’t even get us started on the way he acted about Brittany getting the boob job.

Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 11 Recap: Jax"s D--k Pic

On Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 11, Kristen used a photo of Jax’s junk in a comedy bit – a.k.a. “The D Pic” – to Brittany’s consternation.

Meanwhile, Ariana dropped a BOMB on Stassi.

When Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 11 got underway, Katie and Tom showed up at Lisa’s office and chatted about Lisa’s new products for dogs. 

Katie told Lisa about Kristen’s comedy show, but Lisa laughed off the notion that Kristen was funny. 

At the comedy show, everyone was shocked when Kristen used a picture of Jax’s junk to promote a fake app that turns pictures of genitals into “fine art.”

Yeah, it was definitely one of the most bizarre moments in reality TV history. Brittany noticed it was Jax’s penis straight off the bat and spoke to Stassi. 

Stassi had no idea because she thinks all penises look the same. Brittany confronted Kristen, who claimed she found it difficult to find a penis on the internet that would be good enough for the show. 

Somehow, that’s pretty hard to believe. It’s the internet. 

The next day, Stassi and Kristen visited Brittany and Jax to let them hear the podcast that Jax was part of. Jax grilled Kristen about her motives for using his junk for her show. 

She found the whole thing to be pretty hilarious and thought there was no way it would cause as much friction between the group as it did. 

It was pretty odd to have three women who had slept with Jax talking about his penis together. It’s surprising there was not a huge fight, but we guess it shows how much these women don’t care. 

Back at SUR, Lala showed up and gave a half-assed apology to Tom and Ariana for ditching them.

Lala agreed that she was in the wrong, but she did not want to be put in a situation with Jax because she felt like she was being bullied.

Scheana showed up and joined in by trashing Lala about the fact she did not contact them sooner to let them know about her not going. 

Lala then went to visit James and told him about the argument. He did, however, find it odd that she was saying she spent time in a hotel alone with her dog. 

He was convinced she was with her boyfriend, but he was also annoyed at the fact he could have went to Nascar in her place. He felt like she was using him. 

Kristen and Stassi decided to meet up with James to find out if he knew that Lala was trashing him to all of their friends. This was something that did not sit well with him because he felt like he had been there for Lala. 

He then dropped the bomb that Lala’s boyfriend tried to have him sign an NDA when he went to Coachella with Lala, Sandoval and Ariana. 

The two girls were shocked to the core, but Stassi seemed to think that Sandoval and Ariana knew Lala was sleeping with a married man because they seemed to defend her at any given opportunity. 

Later, Brittany’s mother, Sherri showed up and quizzed Jax about what was happening between him and Brittany. Jax did not respond well to being put on the spot and made a comment about the year being 2016 and not the 1980s. 

At Katie’s bridal shower, Lisa chatted to Sherri about Jax and why he would not make a good husband. To be fair, she was looking out for Brittany. 

You could cut the tension with a knife after that. 

Stassi and Katie then confronted Ariana about the NDA, but she was quick to point out that she did not sign one. The two girls continued to target her when they felt that it was appalling that Ariana was friends with someone who trashed her friends. 

They even went as far as bringing up Ariana allegedly sleeping with Tom while he was still with Kristen. After Katie walked off, Ariana told Stassi she did not give a “f–k” about her. 

We are now very intrigued to find out what will come next. With Lala’s exit on the horizon, what will go down before she leaves?

Stassi Schroeder Admits to Hiding Drug Use While Filming Vanderpump Rules

These days, Stassi Schroeder is once again the HBIC of her Vanderpump Rules chick clique.

But as long time fans of the show know, it took her quite a while to climb back to the top of the heap after being bumped from her spot in Season 3.

Now we may know what enabled Stassi to both act like such a boss and think it would be a good idea to date Jax Taylor when she first started on the show.

Turns out, as is usually the case when someone is crushing it in one aspect of their life and making colossally dumb decisions in all the others – Stassi was on drugs.

Specifically, she was on Adderall, which is pretty tame when you consider the quality and quantity of substances that must pass through SUR on a weekly basis.

The amount of cocaine that Jax Taylor puts up his surgically-altered nose on a daily basis probably could’ve eliminated the need for a props department on Scarface.

We’d rag on the dude for all the roids he takes, too, but if they’re helping maintain a constant state of rage toward James Kennedy, we’re all for it.

Anyway, we were talking about Stassi, here.

According to Radar Online, on the popular ADHD medication on an episode of her podcast.

She says it helped her through long days of filming when the show first began, but it wasn’t long before she realized she was overly fond of the drug.

“When I started season 3, I had just quit Adderall,” she said.

“I was like ‘I’m not gonna be good. I don’t know if I can actually do this without taking a drug.’”

Stassi says she’s glad she kicked the habit, but she’s not exactly a walking anti-drug PSA:

“I didn’t need it,” she said.

“None of my castmates needed it. But Oh. My. God… I was so skinny when I was on it, it was the best!”

Despite the TrimSpa-like effect on her figure, Schroeder says she wouldn’t exactly recommend Addies to folks who are looking to not hate life:

“So that’s that…it’s the worst drug I’ve ever taken, I swear to God,” Stassi told her audience.

“I feel like it’s worst than coke because you get so addicted to it because it’s a pill and so you think it’s okay. But it made me absolutely psycho and it made me depressed all the time.”

Well, we’re glad she was able to kick the habit.

After all, with Million Dollar Matchmaker in her future, she’s got plenty of reason to be miserable without the study buddies clouding her judgment.

13 Times Vanderpump Rules Was Like Mean Girls

Vanderpump Rules chronicles lives and loves of the very lucky employees of SUR, but why can they never get along?

If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you will know that all of the stars of the show seem to want to be the one being followed by the rest of the cast. 

Said cliques always seem to have someone else vying for the power to be at the top of the pack. 

It"s similar to the way Mean Girls played out. You had Regina George at the top of the food chain, before being knocked down a few pegs. 

It"s tiring to keep up with the ever changing dynamics among one of the hottest reality TV casts in the history of reality TV.

1. Stassi Hates On Scheana’s Wedding Dress

Stassi hates not being the center of attention, so you can only imagine her rage when her sworn nemesis Scheana was getting married. Yes, it was a crop top wedding dress and no matter what anyone says, it was AMAZING. Stassi, on the other hand, is just Regina George.

2. Sandoval Cries About…

Sandoval always seems to get emotional at the reunion episodes. He lays out all of the facts in such a condescending manner that it makes us wonder why someone has not lunged at him. Yeah, he would fit into North Shore High School.

3. Katie HATES Lala Kent

Katie and Lala are not friends. The pair have been horrible to each other throughout the series, but Katie was a complete bitch to Lala when Lala tried to apologize for her behavior. Instead, Katie opted to call Lala out for allegedly sleeping with a married man. These arguments are definitely petty. Is there even any proof about who Lala’s sharing a bed with? Umm, no.

4. Spreading Like Wildfire

Rumors spread like wildfire in SUR… much like they did in Mean Girls. These two chefs laughing about Kristen being given the pink slip was EVERYTHING.

5. Stassi vs. Scheana

Stassi pretty much hated Scheana from the get-go because she was the new girl at SUR. Stassi would not let her forget the fact that she was boning Eddie Cibrian. Even though they make up every few months, Stassi always has some sort of resentment towards Scheana. It’s almost like she thinks Scheana can dethrone her and take her friends away. Plot twist: Stassi’s bad attitude sent her friends Scheana’s way without the help of Scheana.

6. We PICK Your Friends!

When Scheana decided to stick by Katie in her pursuit against Lala, Katie seemed to think Scheana was friends with Lala. This paved the way for some pathetic scenes that shows Katie, Stassi and Kristen giving Scheana some ground rules about who she can hang around with. Yeah, these girls never really left school.

Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 10 Recap: What"s a Misogynist?

On Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 10, the drama continued in Montauk for Stassi’s birthday, with tempers rising hotter than temperatures.

Back in La La Land, Lala Kent finally surfaced, but Lisa was so taken aback by the slew of recent rumors that she pondered a change.

If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you know Stassi is single, but not exactly ready to mingle following the end of her last relationship.

Her confidence is at an all-time low, she explains:

“[Like,] ‘Well, I spray tan once a week. I love a good blowout, and my exercise is shopping online.’ … Oh, my God, who would date me?”

A fair question, if you pitch yourself that way.

Katie told Stassi to get her flirt on, but Scheana Shay and Kristen Doute distracted her when they committed a major clambake faux pas.

“I don’t really eat fish,” Scheana whined about the food. “You shouldn’t eat anything with claws. I mean, are you going to eat a cat?”

Stassi luckily got a second chance to “flex her single muscle” as Katie put it when she found herself alone with a hot guy in a hot tub.

“I hate to say it, but maybe Stassi should ask herself, ‘What would Lala do?’” Katie said, noting the irony of channeling her inner enemy.

Not the worst idea if you’re single and horny AF …

Unfortunately, the hot tub quickly turned cold.

Drunk Kyle forgot Stassi’s name, insulted her swimsuit and told her that she looked like Steve Jobs … seriously. That’s pretty rough.

Stassi got out of that hot tub faster than Jax Taylor tells a lie when cornered about his previous behavior. In other words, very quickly.

In other birthday news, 31-year-old Ariana Madix’s NASCAR weekend turned into a drama-fest between Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright.

“Jax can honestly be the sweetest, most generous, loving guy,” Brittany said. “But then he can also be the biggest asshole on the planet.”

Pretty much, yes. Pretty much exactly that.

At the race, Tom Schwartz jokingly asked if the ladies would show off some skin; Ariana and Brittany laughed and denied that request.

Jax, however, felt he should volunteer Brit for this.

Why? “I paid for them,” he reasoned, referring to Brittany’s breasts, and Ariana was rightfully disgusted by Jax’s disrespectful comments.

“Your girlfriend is actually not a car,” she said. “You can’t just walk around showing everybody what’s under the hood whenever you want.”

Later, Ariana sat Brittany down to talk to her about Jax’s misogynist antics, which Brittany was clueless about in more ways than one.

“What does ‘misogynist’ mean?” Brittany asked.

“He gives me massages?”

Can’t make this up.

After Ariana explained it all, Brittany did confront Jax … with mixed results, as anyone who has ever tried to confront Jax can relate to.

In vintage Jax fashion, he flipped the script and said that the real problem in all of this is that Ms. Cartwright doesn’t “appreciate him.”

“Sometimes I ask for a turkey sandwich, and I only get ham,” Jax said, without irony, as he attempted to play the victim in all of this.

Guy is basically human garbage, but oh-so entertaining.

Back in Los Angeles, Lala Kent resurfaced after bailing on Ariana’s birthday … and unfollowed Ariana on Instagram before going to SUR.

There, Lisa asked Lala why she bailed on the trip.

Near tears, Lala admitted that she’s pissed at the way she’s being treated by her SUR co-workers, who are “saying that I’m a homewrecker.”

Just because Lala Kent gives good dome and her man treats her like a real sugar daddy would doesn’t mean he’s married, dammit!

(It’s not clear if he is or is not married.)

Accusing the staff of spreading “lies” about her mysterious relationship, “I think it’s best for me to walk away from this work place,” Lala said.

Lisa didn’t have time for that, though.

“Time to grow up now,” Lisa said. “If you quit, you’re going to give some people a lot of satisfaction, and I don’t think you want to do that.”
