Kim Zolciak: Accused of Homophobia AND Racism!

As previously reported, Kim Zolciak has said goodbye to The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

But a couple of people close to the reality star have now spoken up and made it clear:

They wish they could say good riddance to Kim Zolciak!

First, Tracy Young – a DJ who used to make love to Zolciak – referred to her ex-girlfriend as a “liar” and as “homophobic” after their romance was referenced by Kandi Burruss, who alleged the two had an intimate relationship during a vacation to the Bahamas.

Zolciak denied this relationship ever took place.

And Young has roasted her for it.

“She’s a liar, because she denied what went on and the reunion brought it all back up,” Young told Page Six TV, adding:

“Kim and I were in a relationship for about eight months. She said she wanted to marry me. She asked me to have a baby with her.”

We reported on Zolciak and Young being an item way back in March of 2010, before Kim married husband Kroy of course.

Zolciak and Young met when the latter was remixing the TV reality star’s single “Tardy for the Party” in 2009.

(And she still wanted to date Kim? Fascinating!)

On a previous episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Zolciak opened up to NeNe Leakes about her relationship with Young, seeming to confirm it happened.

“Love has no gender,” she said. “I had a connection with her.”

She later joked:

“I’ve been chasing dick since I came out of the womb, so NeNe’s not believing the fact that I went to the other side for a minute.”

Young didn’t hold back her opinion on Twitter yesterday, either.

“She’s homophobic!” Tracy screamed to anyone who would listen on social media.

homphobia tweet

Zolciak has said the relationship was a “one-time deal” and wrote on her blog:

“I never thought I would come to see her as a liar, and a fame obsessed coat tail rider … That chapter of my life is done with!”

Elsewhere, meanwhile, Marlo Hampton tells TMZ that Zolciak is also racist for saying Leakes lives in a “roach nest.”

This is a reference to a rather epic and hilarious argument between the enemies on Twitter a few weeks ago.

Following Sunday night’s reunion, which you can watch below, Hampton explains that, in the black community, roaches are synonymous with poverty.

Therefore, Kim’s comment is an implication you’re living in the projects, which certainly isn’t the case for NeNe, who resides in gorgeous Atlanta-area home.

Finally, to close this update on all things Kim Zolciak, Us Weekly confirms that production has been stopped on her spinoff, Don’t Be Tardy.

She’s apparently VERY upset over the way she was ganged up on during the aforementioned reunion.

“Kim and her team have halted all production for Don’t Be Tardy while her lawyers have been working around the clock to investigate and deal with the final episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion,” a source says.

A second insider adds:

“Kim has pulled the plug on filming. She’s very upset about the entire situation.”

We’re not sure what the reunion has to do with Don’t Be Tardy, except that both shows air on Bravo.

Might Zolciak be so upset that she’s thinking of leaving the network entirely and/or filing a lawsuit of some kind?

Stay tuned!

Derick Dillard"s Homophobia Reaches New Heights

Remember when Derick Dillard was fired by TLC for making bogoted coments on Twitter?

Well, apparently he doesn’t!

Or at the very least he remains totally unconcerned with the effect his views might have on his career and public reputation.

Earlier this week, Derick took to social media to promote a spesking engagement by Ricky Chelette a controversial preacher who’s a big proponent of the appalling practice of attempting to turn gay teens straight through “conversrion therapy.”

“Tomorrow night we will have an opportunity to hear from Rickey Chelette on same-sex attraction,” Derick wrote.

“7:30 pm in the Arvest Building!”

Fans were quick to remind Derick of what a widely-reviled figure Chelette is.

Someone quickly commented, “Isn’t this the ‘pray away the gay’ guy???”

Derick typically isn’y one to shy away from conflict, but he’s been doing his best go dodge questions about Chelette’s more revolting beliers:

“Our church invites ALL to come. I’m open to all who would join our family,” he replied to one fan.

Yes, the Duggars invite “ALL to come.”

So stay tuned for next week’s keynote address from Rupaul.

Here’s the thing:

It’s easy for Derick to be glib about his beliefs now, when he still has a bank account full of reality star money.

But soon enough, the Dillards will be 100% reliant on donations from fans in order to keep food on the table.

They already lost a lot of fans thanks to Derick’s transphobic views, and now he’s doubling down and alienating what few faithful followers he has left.

The Duggars have always espoused abhorrent views, but they’re usually more social media savvy than this.

If he keeps this up, he may soon suffer a fate worse than being exiled like the Duggars elsest son, Josh.

That’s right: Derick will soon be forced to get … a real job!!!

August Ames: Porn Star Commits Suicide at 23 Following Homophobia Scandal

Shocking news from the world of adult film today, as beloved performer-turned-controversial figure August Ames has been found dead.

The actress was just 23 years old.

Though no official cause of death has been given, it’s being widely reported that Ames (real name Mercedes Grabowski) took her own life.

The news comes on the heels of a controversy involving statements made by Ames about her refusal to film a scene with an actor who had previously starred in gay pornography films.

“Whichever (lady) performer is replacing me tomorrow for @EroticaXNews, you’re shooting with a guy who has shot gay porn, just to let cha know,” Ames tweeted on December 3.

“BS is all I can say. Do agents really not care about who they’re representing? #LAdirect I do my homework for my body.”

Ames later clarified that she did not intend for her statement to be construed as homophobic.

The performer in question, Jaxton Wheeler, has come under fire for a tweet in which he seemed to encourage Ames to commit suicide.

“The world is awaiting your apology or for you to take a cyanide pill. Either or we’ll take it,” Wheeler wrote.

Today, he’s posted several tweets clarifying that he had no intention of encouraging any bullying or online harassment:

“Emotions will be high today, I think it’s best to reflect and take away from this, I’m not asking for prior not to come at me, i know that will happen. But I’m gutted by this too,” Wheeler tweeted.

Ames’ final tweets reflect the increasingly hostile reaction to her original statement:

“F–k you guys for attacking me when none my intentions were malicious. I f–king love the gay community! What the f–k ever! I CHOOSE who I have inside my body. No hate,” she wrote on Monday.

Ames death was first reported by the trade magazine Adult Video News.

“She was the kindest person I ever knew and she meant the world to me,” her husband, director Kevin Moore, told AVN.

“Please leave this as a private family matter in this difficult time.”

Ames worked as a bartender prior to entering the adult film world in 2014.

In just under four years, she starred in more than 270 titles and took home many of the industry’s top prizes.

Many of her colleagues have taken to social media to pay tribute to the beloved performer:

“A beautiful life is GONE because people like to use their ‘fan base’ to bully others because THEIR opinion doesn’t agree with YOURS,” wrote Brett Rossi, a porn star and former girlfriend of Charlie Sheen’s.

“RIP to a sweet, kind, soul…I’m so sad & so angry. A life wasted simply because HER opinion didn’t mesh with YOURS.”

Our thoughts go out to Ames’ loved ones during this difficult time.

Peggy Sulahian SLAMMED by Other Real Housewives for Homophobia!

Normally, when a Real Housewife refers to something as “horrific,” you take it with a grain of salt. Or perhaps a teaspoon of salt.

In this case, though, we’re talking about a woman — Peggy Sulahian, of The Real Housewives of Orange County — banning her brother from his own father’s funeral for the worst possible reason.

Her costars are absolutely right to describe her as “disgusting.”

Peggy Sulahian is a newcomer to The Real Housewives of Orange County.

You might recognize her as the Real Housewife who shocked viewers when she pinched Meghan Edmonds’ lips shut when Meghan and Vicki Gunvalson were having a conversation.

And that’s all kinds of bizarre.

But folks don’t know that much about her, yet.

From her BRAVO bio:

“Born in Kuwait to Armenian parents, Peggy Sulahian moved to the U.S. when she was one years old. She now lives a life of luxury in the exclusive Crystal Cove community with her custom wheel mogul husband Diko, and their three children — daughters Giovanna, 19, Gianelle, 17 and son Koko, 9.”

It’s usually nice when a long-running reality series gets new blood.

Viewers get to see how that changes the dynamics among the Housewives, you know?

In Peggy’s case, though, she’s quickly making enemies — and it’s not through how she treats her castmates.

(Well, not only that way)

It’s about the unspeakable way that Peggy treats her brother, Pol’ Atteu.

Pol’ Atteu is a well-known fashion designer, but he’s also a writer and producer.

He and his fiance, Patrik Simpson, were besties with the late Anna Nicole Smith.

(Pol’ even designed her burial gown)

RadarOnline confirmed with multiple witnesses that Peggy Sulahian banned her brother Pol’ from his own father’s funeral becuase Pol’ is gay.

In fact, she apparently hid from Pol’ that their father was ill and dying, denying Pol’ a chance to see him and say goodbye.

While their parents — who have now both passed away, as they had already lost their mother to breast cancer — were accepting of Pol’ because they loved their son, Peggy has been described as outrageously homophobic.

When Pol’ arrived at his own father’s funeral, Peggy apparently sought to have him removed.

There were witnesses.

And some Real Housewives, both present and former, have some choice words about Peggy.

Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Adrienne Maloof, spoke out about Peggy’s treatment of her brother.

“What Peggy has done to her brother is absolutely horrific.”

That’s the right way to describe banning someone from their parent’s funeral.

“It is extremely upsetting to me.”

It should be upsetting to everyone.

“Her anti-gay stance is just plain disgusting. Pol’ and Patrik are wonderful, loving people.”

It is 2017, but in case you wonder why so many people are still closeted and why LGBT folks stay so organized, it’s because there is still so much hatred and bigotry to overcome.

Adrienne is hoping that the guilt at what Peggy has done will eat away at her.

“Peggy knows what she did, and she will have to live with that.”

We wouldn’t hold our breath.

One of the witnesses who’s spoken up is L.A. attorney Eileen Keussayan:

“I have known Peggy’s family since 1974 when they first came to this country.”

“And I did attend Peggy’s father’s funeral. … She made it known that her brother Pol’ and his fiancé Patrik were not welcome because they are both homosexuals.”

In addition to going out of her way to try to shame them, Peggy also tried to have security oust them.

it’s horrible.

Peggy also refuses to allow Pol’ to have any contact with his nieces and nephew.

It’s hard to imagine being that hateful, you know?

This is after Lisa Vanderpump, bless her, had already gone off on Peggy’s blatant homophobia.

“I do not tolerate prejudice of any kind. And I have no interest in homophobia or in disgusting behavior like this. I do not condone or even acknowledge it.”

Lisa Vanderpump is kind of the sort of hero that the world needs sometimes, you know?

“Any attack on the gay community is something that I take very personally.”

Interesting that Peggy Sulahian doesn’t seem to have a problem appearing on Bravo, a decidedly LGBT-friendly network, so long as it helps her become famous.

And speaking of Bravo … we have to wonder what Andy Cohen’s thoughts might be.

Maybe Peggy’s reality career will end before it’s begun.

Vanderpump Rules Homophobia Controversy Erupts on Social Media

If you watched Vanderpump Rules last night, you known that the highlight of the episode was unquestionably the roast of Jax Taylor.

For the most part, the cast showed some surprising comedic chops in skewering the West Coast’s answer to The Situation

Unfortunately, as is often the case at this sort of event, someone crossed the line into decidedly “not cool” territory – and surprisingly, it was a member of the audience.

As fans of the show know, rumors about Jax being gay have been circulating for years.

At this point, it’s sort of a running gag amongst the group of frenemies, and while there may be problematic undertones, it seems that the humor isn’t rooted in homophobia, but rather in the notion that Jax used to exchange sexual favors for rent money.

But that’s not the way Brittany Cartwright’s mother sees it.

If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, then you’re aware that Brittany’s mom, Cherrie, is an ultra-conservative, deeply religious woman who’s less than thrilled about her daughter’s choice of suitor.

Remarkably, however, she was unconcerned about the allegations that Jax loves cocaine, cheated on every girlfriend he’s ever had, and has served time behind bars on numerous occasions.

What did bother her, however, was what she described as the “homosexual stuff.”

Jax’s alleged past as a male escort made its way into the night’s stand-up routines, and each time, Cherrie made no effort to conceal her chagrin.

“He’s slept with many, many women,” Tom Schwartz joked about Jax at one point. “And a few men!”

Cherrie grimaced as her daughter jokingly (we think) covered her ears.

Several cast members and producer Andy Cohen have defended Cherrie, claiming that she was simply upset by the idea that her possible future son-in-law might be attracted to other

But in addition to being rooted in a dangerous stereotype about bisexual men, that excuse doesn’t hold water for two reasons:

Cherrie wasn’t upset about the many anecdotes regarding Jax’s infidelity with other women, and she was also outraged by the jokes about Brittany hooking up with Kristen.

Taking place, as it does, in West Hollywood, and featuring as one of its stars the owner of a prominent area gay club, Vanderpump is usually a pretty progressive, liberal-minded show.

(Though the cast rightfully took some flak for reacting to the Orlando nightclub shooting for turning up and dancing on top of bars.)

So fans were upset not only by Cherrie’s homophobic views, but the cast’s defense of her comments.

“Britt & her mom are HUGE #LGBTQ activists,” Stassi Schroeder tweeted during the show.

“Any mom would be concerned if she heard her daughter’s bf might not be ‘into her."”

As we’re reminded every time we see some jackass with a Pepe the Frog meme as his avatar, there is still a lot of hate in America, and some of us are forced to confront it within our own homes or social circles.

Except for in extreme cases, that doesn’t mean that we have to condemn the bigoted parties and sever ties.

But it also doesn’t mean that we have to defend them or make excuses on their behalf.

The way forward is to acknowledge hate and backward ideas and try to help our prejudiced pals see the error of their ways.

Considering Jax and Brittany just landed a spinoff, we get the sense that this a position Mr. Taylor (who’s actually shown himself to be admirably right-minded on this particular issue) will find himself in more often in the years to come.

Gay Choir Accuses San Diego Padres of Homophobia

The San Diego Padres are currently 19-26, sitting in last place in National League West.

We know they are bad at baseball.

But might the team also be homophobic?!? Allow us to explain…

On Saturday afternoon at Petco Park, The San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus was brought in to sing “The Star Spangled Banner” prior to the team’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Simple enough, right?

Something that has been done a million times, no?

A recording of the choir was supposed to play over the loudspeakers, presumably so the actual choir could lip-sync on the field… but something went wrong.

Instead, the recording was of a woman singing the anthem blared for all to hear.

Was this a simple mistake? Or the sign of a much larger issue within the organization?

“I really want to believe that it was an error,” Bob Lehman, the choir’s executive director, told the Union-Tribune about Saturday night’s incident.

“But the first thought was, did they do this on purpose?”

Oddly, the mistaken recording was never stopped; it played throughout the duration of the national anthem.

The choir said the incident raised “serious questions about homophobia within the San Diego Padres organization and its relationship with the LGBT community.”

It alleged that the mix-up followed “several days of troubling comments and behavior” from within the team, as it supposedly tried to prevent the singers from performing unless they each bought a ticket to the game.

That decision was later overturned.

In response to the incident, San Diego issued a lengthy statement.

“The Padres organization is proud of our longstanding commitment to inclusion – within both our sport and our community,” the read in part. “We deeply regret that a mistake on our part has called this into question, but accept full responsibility.”

It also said an investigation yielded "no evidence of malicious intent on the part of any individuals involved.”

Azealia Banks Twitter Account Suspended Due to Rampant Racism and Homophobia

Twitter has managed to do the one thing no celebrity has yet been able to do:

Shut Azealia Banks up.

Following a rampage in which she went off on Zayn Malik via a firestorm of hateful insults that questioned his skin color… his religion… and his sexual preference, Banks has seen her Twitter account get temporarily suspended.

Those who visit the account for @AZEALIABANKS will now be redirected to a page that reads: “Account suspended.”

A message there explains why:

This account has been suspended. Learn more about why Twitter suspends accounts, or return to your timeline.

This news has hilariously caused “#AzealiaGotSuspendedParty” to start trending on Twitter.

Of course, anyone who has been following the celebrity gossip world over the past few days is well aware already of why Banks has gotten the social media boot.

In response to her belief that Malik copied portions of her work for his latest music video, Banks called Malik a “bitch n-gga” on Tuesday.

She also said he was the “token brown boy” in One Direction, that his mother is a “dirty refuse” and that he’s a giant “f-ggot.”

These messages got Banks fired from an upcoming London music festival and led many on Twitter to start calling for her account to be suspended.

They also led 14-year old Skai Jackson to slam Banks, putting the artist in her place by saying she has no class and no career.

“Fix ur life,” Jackson wrote to Banks. ‘I’m sure my mom did a wayyy better job then yours did! You give black woman a bad name. I’ll be praying for you.”

The only surprising thing here is that it took Twitter so long to actually kick Banks off.

She has bashed the gay community in general in the past, while she’s also gotten into absurd beefs with Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Pharrell and Iggy Azalea.

Who has Banks NOT gone after?

That may actually be a shorter list than who she has gone after.

We’ve made an attempt to compile the latter below:
