Kate Middleton "Flirts" With Ben Ainslie, Cheating On Prince William?

A picture is worth a thousand words.

At least that"s what some tabloids would have you believe.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the Duchess of Cambridge was getting too cozy with Olympic gold medalist Sir Ben Ainslie during a May 20th visit to Land Rover BAR in Portsmouth, England.

As patron of the 1851 Trust, Her Royal Highness launched two sailing projects and met people involved in the project.  She also spoke with students while touring the facility"s new "Tech Deck" Education Centre

Members of the Land Rover BAR team are challenging for the 2017 America"s Cup.

Let examine the evidence below, or lack thereof.

1. The Photo That Sparked A Thousand Rumors

Catherine partook in a racing exercise ahead of the 2017 America’s Cup. For safety purposes, Catherine wore a helmet. When Ainslie adjusted the future consort’s helmet to make sure it was on tight, everyone hopped on the conclusions bus and assumed they were making eyes at one another.

2. Smiling = Heavy Flirting. It’s Science.

“For the first time in what seems like ages Kate had a genuine smile on her face as the duo put through their paces during exercises involving a Land Rover CAT and the aforementioned T1 boat,” CDL alleges. “Ben and Kate seemed to be quite chummy the moment they met at the docks at Portsmouth upon Kate’s arrival.”

3. I’m On A Boat

The 1851 Trust’s aim is to enable, engage and encourage young people to experience sailing and and the opportunities it offers.

4. Love On The Open Seas!

“Was Kate Middleton flirting with Olympian Ben Ainslie when the two tested out a T1 boat for a sailing training mission?” CDL wondered. “A glance at some of the photos may lead Royal watchers to believe so! Does Kate have a crush on Ben or was she trying to make Prince William jealous?”

5. You Know What They Say About Having Too Much Fun

Actually, I have no idea. I’ve never heard of anyone having too much fun and then it leading to something terrible.

6. All Aboard The Love Boat!

CDL speculates that Catherine enjoyed the attention as a way to get back at the Duke of Cambridge for attending his ex-girlfriend, Jecca Craig’s wedding in Africa. Sure, that makes sense.

Prince William: Family Before Royalty, Sorry Not Sorry

The Duke of Cambridge knows that you called him "workshy," but he doesn"t give AF.

Prior to his royal tour of India and Bhutan, Prince William sat down with the BBC"s Nicholas Witchell to honor the Queen on her 90th birthday.

During the interview, William spoke of the wonderful example his grandmother has set in her 64+ years of being sovereign, and the challenges he faces as a duty-bound father of two young children.

“I’m concentrating very much on my role as a father," William said.

"I’m a new father and I take my duties and my responsibilities to my family very seriously and I want to bring my children up as good people with the idea of service and duty to others as very important.

"But if I can’t give my time to my children as well, I worry about their future.”

William is known for refusing to bend when it comes to the media"s opinion of how he lives his life, for which he will make no apologies.

"I love my children the same way any father does and I hope George loves me the same way any son does to his father," William said.

"They"ll be a time and a place to bring George up and understand how he fits in the world, but right now it’s just a case of keeping a secure, stable environment around him and showing him as much love as I can as a father."

Though Her Majesty will never abdicate the throne ("retire," so to speak and hand the crown to Prince Charles), there will certainly be a shift in workload.  It"s important to note, however, that she will remain the monarch until she passes, as the House of Windsor sees the position as a job for life.

"When the queen decides she’s going to hand down more responsibilities, I’ll be the first person to accept them," William explained referring to the digs several members of the media have made at him regarding his lack of royal appearances.

"There’s an order of succession and I’m at the bottom at the moment so there is the time and space and future to take on more and develop more.” “I think royal duty is extremely important," William continued.

"I take my responsibilities very seriously but it’s about finding your own way at the right time and if you’re not careful, duty can sort of weigh you down an awful lot at a very early age, and I think you’ve got to develop into the duty role." he explained.

"It’s something I take very seriously but with my family and with my role of air ambulance, for instance, I think there’s a number of things, I’ve got my fingers in many pies at the moment and want to keep an eye on [them]. That will change as life goes on and I’ll take on more."

tldr; William"s got the royal thing under control, and would like everyone to chill lout.

Prince William and Kate Middleton Take Mumbai!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge started their much-publicized tour of India and Bhutan today, landing in Mumbai before taking part in a number of engagements.

Catherine chose a patterned dress by Anita Dongre for tours around the city (which included cricket and football) with LK Bennett heels.

During a game of cricket, former Indian captain Sachin Tendulka told the press that Catherine "batted, she fielded, she did everything!"

“She really wanted to wear a local designer at the earliest possible opportunity as a tribute to Mumbai’s wonderful design talent,” a source close to Catherine told the Daily Mail of her Anita Dongre dress. “[It] is a perfect way to do that.”

Prince William Visits Ex-Girlfriend Jecca Craig In Africa! Kate Middleton "FURIOUS?"

Everybody CALM. DOWN.

The Duke of Cambridge is attending friend Jecca Craig’s wedding in Kenya, while the Duchess of Cambridge stays behind in England with their two children.

This piece of news has the makings of tabloid fodder, since it’s speculated that William and Craig – whose father owns the wildlife conservancy, Lewa Downs – dated when they were teenagers and even staged a “pretend engagement” during William’s gap year in 2000.

William’s relationship with the Craigs is so good that  he even missed his cousin, Peter Phillips’ 2008 wedding to attend that of Craig’s older brother, Batian (Catherine represented him at the nuptials back in England).

Kensington Palace confirmed that the prince was making a private trip to Kenya, which also included a meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta to discuss “defence and security, and conservation.”

Celebrity Dirty Laundry, of course, thinks William has fooled around with Craig a few times behind Catherine’s back, even going so far as to compare her to the Duchess of Cornwall when she and Prince Charles carried on an affair while he was married to the late Princess of Wales.

Craig and the Cambridges are part of a large circle of friends, and have been photographed at the same weddings (Craig is the brunette in the photo above; she and Holly Branson, another one of the Cambridge’s friends, attended the 2013 wedding of Lady Melissa Percy and Thomas van Straubenzee).

It’s believed William is due back in the UK on Easter Sunday, but CDL speculates that he “begged” the Queen for an excuse to go to Kenya to avoid spending the holiday with Carole Middleton.

It might seem odd that Catherine didn’t accompany William to the wedding, but it’s been reported that she’d like to spend as much time with Prince George and Princess Charlotte before her and William’s official trip to India and Bhutan in April.

Her Royal Highness has also been known to miss friends’ weddings in order to be with her children, but let’s all just assume the worst and blame William “abandoning” his family for Craig.

Kate Middleton Skips St. Patrick"s Day, Divorcing Prince William?

Let’s make up rumors and destroy relationships!

Last week, the palace announced that the Duke of Cambridge would hand out shamrocks to 1st Battalion Irish Guards for the St. Patrick’s Day parade.

As Colonel of the Irish Guards (he was appointed by the Queen in 2011, shortly before his wedding to the now Duchess of Cambridge), it made sense for William to be present at the annual event.

Royal watchers, however, wanted to know why the Duchess of Cambridge wouldn’t be joining him, since she has been handing out shamrocks since 2012.

Most assumed that Catherine wanted to stay in Norfolk (about a two-hour ride from London) with her children at the family’s Anmer Hall home, because she had a local engagement the next day.

Royal watchers were a little miffed that she couldn’t uphold a tradition that started in 1901 by Queen Alexandra, but no one speculated about the state of her marriage to William.

Until now.

The rumor that Catherine skipped St. Patrick’s Day with William because there are cracks in the marriage was thought up by Celebrity Dirty Laundry, which loves to think up soap opera storylines and somehow turn them into hearsay.

“Kate Middleton’s absence from the St. Patrick’s Day Parade has caused speculation about a Royal divorce. Prince William attended the annual event alone leaving Royal watchers to wonder if William and Kate’s marriage is in trouble,” the site wrote.

“It is odd that Kate did not take part in the tradition of presenting the St. Patrick’s Day shamrocks. “

Catherine’s engagement took her to nearby Holt, where she opened a shop supporting East Anglia Children’s hospice, of which Her Royal Highness is patron.

“Kensington Palace can try to spin this by saying Kate needed to be home at Anmer Hall to take care of Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Is this really an excuse to ditch a 115-year tradition? Was Kate on duty to drive George back and forth from preschool on St. Paddy’s Day?”

Maybe? I don’t know.  I would imagine she enjoys taking him to school?

“Traveling 220 roundtrip from Norfolk to London is a bit much to ask of Kate, don’t you think? Why wasn’t Kate Middleton at Prince William’s side for the presentation? Is William so disgusted with the recent public outcry over the Duchess of Cambridge’s extravagant lifestyle that Prince William left Kate home?”

Huh?  You make it sound as though she’s behaving like the Duchess of York.

Kate Middleton to Prince William: Get a HAIR TRANSPLANT, Baldy!

The throne shalt not be occupied by any King Cue Ball!

‘Tis the battle cry of Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth, who are positively beside themselves with humiliation over Prince William’s ever-growing bald spot, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.

The Duke of Cambridge endured a bit of ribbing about his hair loss from a former colleague during a visit to Anglesey earlier in the week.

“It was nice to see him again. He hasn’t changed much apart from he’s lost a bit more hair. Hey, we’re all getting older!” said former Royal Air Force winchman Rik Maving.

Bold chap, he is, insulting a royal like that. Lucky for him the prince didn’t order his beheading.

Apparently, Kate, who was with him at the time, was mortified, as was his grandmother Queen Elizabeth.

They are of the mind that the smooth-n-shiny look is not one befitting a future king and are spending $ 30,000 on a hair transplant to restore William’s “royal mane.”

Says CDL:

“The future King must look younger and vibrant, and this will be achieved only if William has a full head of hair. Experts in hair transplantation have been dispatched to Kensington Palace – in secret of course Royal courtiers reveal.”

We can hear Kate’s voice now.

Care for a spot of tea, darling? And while we’re at it, why not a spot of Rogaine? Oh, blimey, just get the bloody transplant surgery already!!!

I think its safe to say we’re calling bollocks on this entire story.

While it’s true that Will’s scalp is revealing itself more and more, we’re fairly certain Kate and the queen would rather have the prince bald than looking like Donald Trump.

Naturally, Prince William isn’t the only one getting flak for his appearance. The duchess has also come under fire recently for her horrible eyebrows.

It’s no wonder Kate wants to ditch royal life and move back to Wales. (Not really, but we’d totes understand.)

Kate Middleton to William: Screw This Royal Life, Let"s Move Back to Wales!

Being a Duchess is for the birds, it appears.

The latest made-up tale about Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge highlights her “exhausted” and “fatigued” look on February 17th, when she and the Duke attended a ceremony ending Royal Air Force search-and-rescue operations near their old home in Anglesey, Wales.

“Duchess Kate had a very busy day and then had to travel to Wales immediately with no break whatsoever,” Celebrity Dirty Laundry wrote.

The Duchess of Cambridge didn’t even put much effort into her outfit for the day,” the site (inaccurately) pointed out.  “Princess Kate wore the red LK Bennett coat she has worn twice before.”

Catherine has actually worn LK Bennett’s “Ami” coat three times in the past – the first to a November 2011 UNICEF engagement in 2011.  Again a year later at a rugby game at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, and then to a Poppy Appeal event in November 2013.

William and Catherine lived in a rented farmhouse in Anglesey while William worked as a search-and-rescue pilot at RAF Valley.  When his time with the armed forces came to an end in September 2013, he and his family moved back to London.

During the reception after ceremony yesterday, Catherine told a fellow couple how much living there meant to her.

“It was such a special time for us,” Catherine said, according to the Daily Mail. “It was the start of our life together really.”

That was the quote that set the tabloids ablaze with speculation that Catherine wanted William to “abandon” their royal obligations and raise their family in Wales.

In other stupid royal news, OK! is trying to convince everyone that Catherine is deffo pregnant because two cycles before yesterday, Catherine wore the same LK Bennett when she was pregnant with George.

That is bullet-proof evidence right there.

Kate Middleton Pregnant Again! William Overwhelmed, Not Ready!

Not a day goes by where I don’t hear, “is Kate pregnant again?”

The source of said news can usually be found in the supermarket checkout aisle with a splashy headline, and this time is no different.

Before we dig into the “goss” about whether or not there actually is a royal fetus, it’s important to note that unless Kensington Palace makes an announcement (as they have in the past, and early on due to Catherine’s morning sickness).

The tabloids can print whatever they want, but if and when it actually happens, it will come directly from the horse’s mouth (or the horse’s press office’s mouth).

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Catherine’s up the duff again and Prince William is “overwhelmed and not ready for a third baby yet.”

The royal couple are due to visit India and Bhutan this spring, and will be heavily involved in the celebrations of Her Majesty’s 90th birthday.

Royal expert Victoria Arbiter told me a few years back that royals plan their calendar (heir-making included) meticulously, so a pregnancy could possibly keep Catherine from traveling abroad

“Unconfirmed sources divulge that Prince William would have preferred to wait a few more years before adding to the Cambridge family,” CDL goes on.

“Whoever the source is for this latest third Royal baby speculation revealed that the Duke of Cambridge wasn’t prepared for the Duchess of Cambridge to be expecting again so soon after Princess Charlotte’s birth.”

tl:dr – Catherine’s probably not pregnant.  This story is crap.

Kate Middleton "Dreads" India Trip, William Tells Her To Suck It Up

Their Royal Highnesses are scheduled to make an official visit to India and Bhutan this spring.

The timing of the trip has not yet been disclosed by Kensington Palace, but that doesn’t stop some tabloids from claiming that the Duchess of Cambridge is “dreading” the idea of being away from her two children for an extended amount of time.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Prince William has told his wife to “act like a royal” and stop begging him to cancel their trip.

Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th birthday is on April 21st, and celebrations are already being planned.  It’s unclear if the Cambridges will visit both countries and miss the festivities, or if their trip is scheduled prior.

To celebrate Her Majesty, a two-hour documentary is being put together by royal biographer Robert Hardman.  Members of the House of Windsor, including Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, William and Catherine have be interviewed for the ITV network special.

This will be Catherine’s second time taking part in an on-camera interview since her 2010 engagement, so why not drum up some rumors about her performance?

“We’re guessing Kate Middleton was coached within an inch of her life for the interview,” CDL writes.

“After receiving the list of questions someone most assuredly went over them with a fine-tooth comb, decided which ones the Duchess of Cambridge would be permitted to answer and then provided appropriate replies to each query.

“A Royal minder or two probably sat down with Duchess Kate and made her read the prepared answers over and over again until the future Queen was able to come across as spontaneous. Wonder if there were many tears shed before the actual interview even started!”

Who is she, Katie Holmes?

William Guest Dies; Gladys Knight & the Pips Singer Was 74

William Guest – a singer best known for his time with the legendary R&B group Gladys Knight & the Pips – has passed away at the age of 74.

William Guest

A statement from Guest’s family indicates that he had been struggling with a heart condition for several years.

A cousin of Knight’s, William joined the group in 1953 when he was just 12 years old.

Over the course of his six decades in the music industry he would perform with Knight and the Pips on more than 20 hit singles, including such classics as “Midnight Train to Georgia” and “I Heard It Through the Grapevine.”

Along with the rest of the group, Guest was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.

When the group broke up in order to allow Knight to pursue a solo career, Guest and fellow Pip Edward Patten formed Patten and Guest Productions.

Following Patten’s death in 2005, Guest continued to manage artists as CEO of his own label, Crew Records.

Guest’s 2013 memoir, Midnight Train from Georgia: A Pip’s Journey, remains a favorite amongst sould and R&B enthusiasts.

In a statement issued to the Associated Press, Guest’s daughter Monique wrote, “My heart is broken, but I know his legacy will live on.”

Prince William to Kate Middleton: Stop Flirting!

Go on, you two!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are competitive with one another, so it came as no surprise when they went head-to-head for the most donations during ICAP’s Charity Day on December 9th.

At one point, Catherine was brokering a deal via phone with a bloke named Andrew.

“Catherine, I think you can stop flirting with them now,” William teased, according to the Daily Mail‘s Rebecca English.

He then turned to a broker and joked, “sorry, my wife’s just embarrassing me!”

Catherine, who sported a new haircut, was indeed turning on the charm, advising Andrew to “ask nicely, pretty please.”

Well, Andrew did just that, and Catherine wished him a Happy Christmas.

The charity day sees all funds raised donated to worthy causes, and the Cambridges had selected three – SkillForce, Sportsaid and Place2Be.

Employees don outlandish costumes for the occasion, and one group chose to go as “Dave” from England’s “MoneySuperMarket #EpicStrut” campaign.

In the commercial, Dave struts his stuff down the street (in a jacket, tie, hot pants and heels) after saving money on car insurance to the tune of Pussycat Dolls’ “Dont Cha.”

William was fascinated, and couldn’t get over the heel height.

“That was the first thing he asked me – where on earth did I get them from,” Dan Lebau told English of meeting the Duke.

“I’m a size ten and it wasn’t easy. I told him we were quite enjoying it but I had new respect for women.”

Today, Catherine visited  Action on Addiction’s Centre for Addiction Treatment Studies in Warminster Wiltshire, to see its work providing training, education and professional development for those working in addiction and other related fields.

Meanwhile, William awarded medals to members of the British army who treated patients with Ebola in West Africa.

Kate Middleton Asks William: "How Much Do You Love Me?"

Oh Em Gee, are these two the cutest.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to Wales today for a series of engagement to help promote mental wellness.

It"s a cause the couple has championed all over the UK, encouraging others to erase the stigma of mental illness, especially in young people.

During a visit to Towers Residential Outdoor Education Center, William and Catherine got kitted up for a bit of abseiling.

William was first to go down the nearly 40-foot wall, and Catherine was in charge of giving him slack.

Aware that the future monarch"s well-being was in the hands of his wife, a guide joked to Catherine, "is the insurance good?"

Everyone had a laugh, and Catherine asked her prince, "William, how much do you love me" as she continued to guide him safely to the ground.

"I"m quite enjoying this actually, for once I"m in control," Catherine quipped, according to a Press Association report.

Good show!

The Cambridges are slightly competitive with one another (they"ve admitted that Scrabble games end up a big fight).  Catherine told others there that if William was going to try anything at the center, then so would she.

"Catherine said, "not that we are competitive but if he does that I"m going to have to do that", and she did," national chairman of Mountain Rescue England and Wales, Mike France told the paper.

Earlier in the day, William and Catherine were greeted by huge crowds in Caernarfon, Wales, as well as some massive bubbles.

"I"m particularly impressed with the giant bubbles," William told officials who awaited his and Catherine"s arrival.  "George would be absolutely obsessed by that.

"I will have to get one of those for Christmas."

Wales faces a high suicide rate, so the attention being paid to mental wellness is key in helping improve lives.

Kate Middleton to Queen: I DEMAND More Date Nights With Prince William!!

The very foundation of a royal marriage – nay – any marriage is built on the time spent together between man and wife.  So how the devil are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge expected to keep their union strong if Her Majesty keeps filling up their calendar!

RUDE.

JK JK, this story is a bunch of crap;

OK! has it on made up good authority that the Queen “has approved more romantic dates” for William and Catherine.

WAIT!  Her Majesty isn’t just going to hand over permission for alone time without demanding something in return.  Do you think Ursula just gave Ariel human legs?

The Queen wants William to take over the couple’s public speaking duties, since Catherine sucks at giving speeches.

Her Royal Highness “hasn’t quite mastered the confidence necessary to properly represent the royals when speaking in public.”

The Cambridges are so excited about their court-approved date nights that they’re planning a vacation to Mustique in late November!

“[Kate and Wills] are determined to keep the romance alive and put their love first,” a source told the magazine, according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry.

The story also alleges that the Queen can’t stand Carole Middleton and wants her kept away from Prince George and Princess Charlotte (“there are plenty of nannies to help care” for them), and is popping antacid over news about Prince Harry‘s forthcoming love child

Hokay, so even without speaking to any source from Buckingham Palace or Kensington Palace, I can say with full confidence that this story is something out of a poorly-written Hallmark movie.

First of all, William has made it crystal clear with palace courtiers and his family alike that no one, but no one, is to meddle in his private affairs.  Following the untimely death of his mother, the Princess of Wales, those in his inner circle have obeyed the Duke’s requests.

It’s been well documented that the Queen gives her grandson the amount of space he needs in order to build a successful marriage with Catherine.  In 2012 William told biographer Robert Hardman that Her Majesty told him to forget whatever wedding invite list aides had drawn up (full of stuffy royal relatives and the like), start from scratch and invite his and Catherine’s friends first.

Secondly, if there are any “fractures” in the royal marriage, then let’s take a look at William and Catherine’s body language at engagements.  A friend of mine commented that they had “eye sex” during every engagement of their 2013 royal tour of New Zealand.

As someone who’s made a living studying the British royal family, I am finding it very, very difficult to believe any of the quotes pulled from this story.  The Cambridges may have spent a “romantic” minibreak in Dundee, Scotland, but they also had a day of events there on October 23rd.  And with their alma mater, St. Andrews University about an hour away, it’s very likely they spent the night.

As far as a vacation to Mustique, that’s not likely to happen until January or February; for the past few years Catherine has joined her family on the island for a private holiday.  No tropical vacations are believed to take place from now until the end of the year, since the royal diary is always jam-packed through the holidays.

The quote about “plenty of nannies” being able to care for George and Charlotte is false because they have one nanny, Maria Borrallo, who graduated from the prestigious Norland College.

As for Carole, what the Queen thinks of Catherine’s mom is anyone’s guess.  The Middletons have been included in everything from the planning of the royal wedding to Christmas Day church service, so if the Queen is not in love with Carole, she’s not showing it.

To summarize, the Queen is almost 90, and upon her death, Prince Charles becomes sovereign.  All of these facts mean that William and Catherine will need to take on more royal responsibilities, leaving them with less time to lead a more private, normal life that they prefer.

This is likely where OK! started sniffing around for some sort of a “scoop.”
