Rose Siggins Dies; American Horror Story Star Was 43

Rose Siggins, an actress best known for her portrayal of Legless Suzi on American Horror Story: Freak Show, has died at the age of 43.

According to TMZ, she checked in to a Denver hospital for surgery on a kidney stone last Monday and suffered complications that took her life.

Rose, her rep confirms, contracted an infection during the procedure, one which spread throughout her body and ultimately became fatal.

She passed away on Saturday morning.

The actress was born with rare genetic disorder called sacral agenesis; she had reportedly battled kidney and pancreas issues her whole life.

Our thoughts are with Rose’s family.

She leaves behind two children, for whom a GoFundMe account has been set up (follow the link for more information about what you can do).

Hopefully, fans will be as generous as we’ve seen them be in the past, as they will undoubtedly be hurt by her untimely loss most of all.

AHS also lost another memorable cast member far too young this year; Ben Woolf died at 34 following injuries suffered in a car accident.

There are no words to properly describe or do justice to such tragedies, but their legacies will always live on thanks to their bodies of work.
