Well… Kailyn Lowry is no longer pretending that she’s with Javi Morroquin.
The Teen Mom star has finally confirmed that she and her husband of three years are getting a divorce.
“We’re trying to do the best we can for our kids because they are what really matters,” Lowry told The Daily Mail this week when pressed about her relationship.
The MTV personalities are parents to son Lincoln, 2.
Lowry also has six-year old son named Isaac with ex Jo Rivera.
The pair announced their engagement in September of 2012 and exchanged vows one year later.
There’s been talk for weeks, however, that the union was on the rocks, with Marroquin going off on an overseas deployment as part of the U.S. Air Force in January.
Ever since then, both sides have shared mysterious messages on social media and Marroquin has accused Lowry of cheating.
Just last night, the couple engaged in a tense conversation via FaceTime, on a Teen Mom 2 episode that was filmed several weeks ago.
“What emotions go through your body?” Javi asked his Kailyn. “Honestly, I just feel like you don’t care. You just don’t even ask how I’m doing.”
Lowry didn’t take that criticism well.
“I’m gonna hang up now because that’s bullsh-t,” she replied.
Last month, meanwhile, those who watch Teen Mom online witnessed an emotional Kailyn say on the show that she and Javi had been expecting a second child together …
… but the pregnancy ended in a tragic miscarriage last year.
Especially sad for fans of the series is how Marroquin’s deployment has been particularly difficult for Isaac, who refers to Javi as “daddy.”
The sensitive young boy was seen clutching his father figure and crying during a farewell party; and Lowry has discussed on camera how nights are especially hard for Isaac with her husband away..
They likely won’t get any easier for him now.
