Paris Jackson Reconciles With Estranged Mother Debbie Rowe

Less than two months ago, the feud between Paris Jackson and Debbie Rowe was still playing out on a public stage.

Paris unfollowed Debbie on Twitter just before Mother’s Day, thus prompting the mother of Michael Jackson’s two oldest children bemoan the sorry state of her relationship with her kids on social media:

“One of the saddest things in this world is to see a child grow up hating one of their parents because they only got one side of the story,” Rowe tweeted.

Paris was reportedly unsympathetic, and it looked for a time as though the relationship between mother and daughter may have been damaged beyond repair.

This week, however, following almost a year in which they had zero contact with one another, sources say Paris and Debbie have finally buried the hatchet.

According to TMZ, Paris reached out after reading an article about her mother’s struggle with breast cancer.

Insiders say Debbie was overjoyed when she received a text reading simply, “I love you.”

Rowe is scheduled to undergo surgery this week, and Paris and Debbie have reportedly made plans to spend time catching up during her recovery.

Paris and Debbie reportedly had trouble in their relationship for several years following the death of Michael Jackson.

Sources say Michael’s family didn’t approve of her relationship with her mother, whom they felt had all but abandoned her after her relationship with the iconic singer came to an end.

To make matters worse, when Paris began struggling with emotional issues, Debbie reportedly felt that the girl lacked discipline in her life.

She went from absentee mother to strict disciplinarian, and Paris reportedly was not a fan of the new approach.

Now, however, it seems that all is well between Paris and Debbie.

We wish Ms. Rowe the best on her upcoming surgery.
