Emily Simpson Destroys Body-Shamers: It Is NEVER Okay to Call a Woman Fat!
Last year, Shannon Beador was working to lose weight to save her marriage. As we all know, that ended with a messy divorce.
Her new castmate, Emily Simpson, has been a target for vicious body-shaming by trolls who watch The Real Housewives of Orange County.
Rather than rushing to appease her detractors, Emily is taking a stand for all women.
On Twitter, Emily Simpson posted an array of photos of herself.
“It’s never ok to call a woman fat, fatass, plus-size, etc,” she asserts in her tweet.
For the record, plus size is a fine label for someone to use on themselves, especially if they’re a model. It’s not a euphemism to be hurled at others.
Think of words like plus size or thicc like pregnant, where you don’t comment about it until the person you’re talking about describes themselves that way.
Emily, already bearing the brunt of body-shaming, says: “I will take the criticism and be the voice for all the women out there.”
Emily’s proud tweet continues.
She’s happy to take one for the team for those “that feel inadequate because they don’t fit someone’s ridiculous standard of beauty.”
“Be strong,” Emily advises her fans and followers who may be targeted by body-shamers. “Be proud. Be confident.”
Finally, Emily assures them: “I got you.”
It is always so, so nice to see a reality star use her celebrity status as a platform for a good cause.
In the captions beside a photo of her showing off her outrageous body in a velvet dress, Emily made a similar message.
“Love yourself,” Emily encourages her fans and followers. “Love your body.”
She says that the shape of a person’s body — or the size of it — should never discourage them from having confidence and enjoying their life.
“Always walk into a room and own it,” Emily suggests.
Emily explains how to do this, intructing: “Make eye contact. Hold your head high.”
Emily’s Instagram post continued with some encouraging words.
“Don’t let anyone make you feel inadequate because they are thinner than you,” Emily writes.
While you should never feel inadequate for other reasons, either, this post was specifically for folks who are targeted with fat-shaming and body-shaming.
“Self-confidence is the best outfit you can wear,” she says. She’s not wrong.
“So,” Emily suggests. “Own it and rock it.”
A few weeks ago, Emily was invited to work out with resident fitness nut and also general nut Tamra Judge.
Emily, who works and has three children, was less enthusiastic. She’s not accustomed to working out because she leads a busy life.
While all of the Real Housewives are, of course, real women, a lot of viewers may find Emily and her struggles — and her humble beginnings — more relatable.
Some of the other stars are older and have been living opulent lifestyles for decades.
Emily is a working mom, and that is bound to resonate with a lot of the show’s viewers.
Either way, it is wonderful to see her taking a stand for women everywhere.

LB Bonner 911 Call: Did the Star Try Save Himself?
We have a surprising update on the death of LB Bonner.
As previously reported, the former fan favorite on My 600-lb Life was found dead in a ditch nearly two weeks ago.
A handful of follow-up reports confirmed that Bonner shot himself in the head, bringing a tragic end to a life that saw its many shares of ups and downs.
At the time Bonner appeared on My 600-lb Life, he weighed well over 600 pounds.
He had fallen into a dark depression following a car accident in 2013 that required his leg to be amputated.
However, during his run on the popular reality series, Bonner committed himself to dieting and exercise, while also undergoing lap band surgery, and eventually dropped over 300 pounds.
He was considered a major success story.
Sadly, however, true depression never really goes away… and those close to Bonner have said they saw signs of his mental decline over the past few weeks.
This is the surprising new piece of information, however:
As featured on this page, Bonner actually dials 911 prior to taking his own life.
TMZ has obtained a recording of this call, which features a dispatcher repeatedly asking Bonner for his location.
She says she cannot understand what Bonner is saying and the line is eventually disconnected.
When the operator calls Bonner back, it goes to his voicemail.
Was Bonner having second thoughts?
Did he call in the hope that he could be talked out of suicide and/or in an attempt to get someone out to rescue him?
And then he perhaps took it as some sort of sign when his message was unable to be received and he then went through with the horrible act?
We"ll never known, of course. But we can"t help but ask these kinds of questions.
Elsewhere in this video, we hear Bonner mother also call 911.
She says that her son had been posting threats about hurting himself online and she was afraid he was going to "do something stupid."
Just so very tragic all around.

Kim Kardashian Downplays Kourtney Feud: ALL Sisters Call Each Other Evil!
Fans were shocked and appalled when they saw Kourtney and Kim’s feud blow up on a Keeping Up With The Kardashians sneak peek in which Kourtney called Kim an “evil being.”
Well, now Kim is trying to totally downplay their exchange as if that were normal sibling squabbling.
The way that Kim sees it, it’s normal for siblings who supposedly love each other to be vicious and antagonistic towards each other. Yikes.
When Kim saw a fan’s response to her exchange with Kourtney, she couldn’t help but respond.
“What Kim doesn’t seem to understand,” the fan tweeted. “Is that Kourtney is done living this Kardashian life.”
The fan continued to speak for Kourtney, writing: “She’s sick and tired of being forced to stay relevant.”
The tweet continued, saying that Kourtneyw as worn out “by working herself off just to remain relevant.”
“Kourtney just wants to be present in her children’s lives,” the tweet concluded.
“Oh word,” Kim replied, quoting the fan’s tweet. “Did Kourt tell you this?”
“She sure wanna live that Kardashian life though,” Kim wrote, referring to the opulence, lucrative product endorsement opportunities, and fame.
“And BTW,” Kim added. “This photo shoot was our Christmas card.” She is reminding fans that the footage we’re seeing from KUWTK was filmed late in 2017.
Kim refers to the heated exchange as “family memories we were creating.”
“Just tune in,” Kim concluded. “Before you start acting like you know things.”
Another fan struck a very different tone and tweeted: “@kourtneykardash crying over @KimKardashian saying she’s not even interesting to look at is brilliant.”
“Siblings say dumb s–t to get a reaction,” this second fan continued.
Their narrative continues with: “the receiving sibling cries.”
“It’s over in a few days,” the fan concluded, adding the tag: “#RealLifeS–t”
Astoundingly, Kim Kardashian quoted that tweet and replied: “Exactly!!!”
Compared to Kim’s vicious words towards Kourtney and Kourtney’s reply, Khloe asking Kourtney what’s up her ass sounds almost healthy.
But, in reality, none of this sounds healthy for siblings. Or anyone else, for that matter.
The dynamic described in that second tweet, in a sentiment clearly shared by Kim, sounds almost appropriate between siblings who are elementary school aged.
We are talking about two grown women who are each mothers of three. In fact, Kim and Kourtney are both old enough to run for President.
To hear them speaking to each other that way is … disturbing.
Viewers and fans who see these shocking previews should keep a couple of things in mind.
First, as Kim reminds everyone, this bickering is from late 2017. Which means that this feuding is from late 2017, also.
Secondly, and perhaps even more importantly, they are on a reality show.
This isn’t Candid Camera, folks. They know that they’re being filmed. They didn’t build a media empire by not knowing how to act in certain ways on camera.
That doesn’t mean that this argument is staged — but it may mean that it was deliberately exaggerated by Kim and by Kourtney for the benefit of the cameras.
At least, that is what we would prefer to believe. The alternative — that they speak to each other like this off camera — is almost unthinkable.

Demi Lovato 911 Call Features Request for "No Sirens"
The 911 call placed from Demi Lovato"s home the morning she was found unconscious has been released to the public.
You can listen to it above.
The recording is notable for a couple reasons.
First, it is now believed that an assistant is the person who discovered Lovato in the singer"s own bed, having entered her room around 11 a.m. became she was concerned over why Lovato has not yet awoken for the day.
Upon seeing Lovato"s state, the assistant called for medical help.
Second, this unnamed caller seems especially interested in keeping Demi"s situation private.
You can hear the woman ask the dispatcher to NOT have the ambulance use its sirens on the way to Lovato"s home, presumably to divert attention from the tragedy unfolding there.
"This is a medical emergency," the operator says in response to this request, adding:
"I don’t have control over that. Sorry about that."
“I thought you were just saying we have to wave you guys down,” the assistant replies.
“Definitely wave us down. That’s going to be helpful. This is definitely a medical emergency Opens a New Window. for her. We need to get there as fast as possible,” the dispatcher says again.
Lovato spent the night before she was found going out with friends, drinking and seemingly doing a lot of drugs.
Details concerning the party she hosted at her home, following this evening out, have been reported by a multitude of outlets.
During the four-minute call shared above, the dispatcher gives orders to the individual on the other end of the line, who remains calm.
The dispatcher tells this person to "wave" the paramedics down and to put any pets "in a room" after dogs were heard barking in the background.
The call concludes when the EMTs arrive and are with the caller.
Elsewhere, we"ve heard that Lovato may soon leave the hospital and head to rehab, somewhere far away from Los Angeles.
"Nurses have been giving her fluids nonstop to flush her system and her family wants to make her exit as quick and quiet as possible," an insider tells Fox News, while a rep for the artist has added:
"Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now."
We simply wish Demi the best.
We hope she recovers well from this overdose and finds a way to turn her life around again.

Demi Lovato: Emergency Response Call Released
We have more information to pass along about Demi Lovato"s tragic hospitalization on Tuesday, July 24.
As previously reported, Lovato was discovered unconscious inside her Hollywood Hills home late on this date, as authorities responded to a call from her residence and discovered she was barely breathing.
According to multiple sources, Demi has spent the previous evening partying with friends and had been on a downward spiral for weeks.
An insider has told TMZ and Us Weekly that the singer was at one point administered Narcan, a drug which is used to treat narcotic overdoses in emergency situations.
Her condition was unknown when news of her apparent overdose first went viral, but we can now confirm the artist is stable.
After saying on Facebook that her niece was "awake and responsive," Kerissa Web Dunn, the co-director of the Demi Lovato Charity Boutique in Texas added:
“PLEASE PLEASE pray for my sweet niece DEMI LOVATO. She has been hospitalized and needs everyone’s prayers desperately!!!!"
Nearly all in Hollywood, of course, have heeded this plea.
Tweeted Ellen DeGeneres upon learning what had happened:
love @DDLovato so much. It breaks my heart that she is going through this. She is a light in this world, and I am sending my love to her and her family.
And Lily Allen:

Lovato, as most gossip followers know, has battled addiction and eating disorders for nearly a decade now.
She has been in and out of rehab and has been as candid as one can be about this struggle over the years, aiming to serve as an inspiration for others in her situation.
Just over a month ago, Lovato confessed that she had relapsed.
Few knew it was this serious, but all worried it always could be.
