Soulja Boy: Charged With Felony Gun Possession!
Troubled rapper and aspiring boxer Soulja Boy has been charged with felony possession of a firearm following his arrest back in December.
Soulja is now in serious legal trouble after the L.A. County D.A. just slapped him with two felonies as a result of the incident late last year.
The 26-year-old “Crank That” rapper was charged with possession of an assault weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
He was also charged with a misdemeanor for receiving stolen property, according to TMZ, which broke this story earlier this morning.
Cops who searched Soulja, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, say that one of the weapons on him was reportedly stolen from a cop car.
The assault weapon charge, meanwhile, steams from a Mini Draco AR-15, which is illegal for anyone to possess in the state of California.
If convicted, Soulja could face more than four years in prison.
Those who followed his recent feud with Chris Brown likely recall that this arrest was the topic of debate between the two music stars.
Soulja instigated the online fight when he claimed that the troubled R&B singer harassed him on FaceTime … for a ridiculous reason.
Chris, Soulja says, was livid that the rapper had “Liked” one of Karrueche Tran’s posts on Instagram, and Soulja let him hear it, tweeting:
“Chris brown just called me and said he wanna fight me because I liked @karrueche picture on Instagram this n—a a bitch.”
Brown then referenced the gun arrest and, hitting any wannabe thug where it hurts the most, accused Soulja Boy of being a snitch …
“You on probation for weapons and all that gangsta s–t you talk about and you get out less than 24 hours later? You told!” Brown said.
Chris’ conclusion was that Soulja is in league with cops, as he knows gangstas who were locked up for DUI longer than Ya Boy was.
Street n–gas, Chris says, don’t engage in jawing with no “Officer Soulja,” so he won’t give him any new material to “write your report.”
The rapper countered in an interview (below) that he got out because of good lawyers, and tried to downplay it as a probation violation.
Not sure that holds any water given today’s news.
Anyway, he and Chris are (or were, tentatively) slated to fight on pay per view in Dubai in March, if he’s allowed to leave the country.
Could be a tall order after the weapons charge.

Dani Mathers Officially Charged with Invasion of Privacy
Dani Mathers is known for being a Playboy Playmate — Playmate of the Year for 2015, in fact — but these days, her main claim to fame is just being a terrible person.
Back in July, Dani made a series of bad decisions after taking a photo of a woman taking a shower in the locker room of her gym.
She shared the photo on Snapchat — a photo of a naked stranger — and wrote “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either.”
She body-shamed the woman so seriously that it was an actual crime.
After the photo went viral, she claimed that she’d meant to send the photo directly to a friend but shared it to all her followers instead, like that makes it OK.
She also wrote an apology on Twitter, acknowledging that “There is no excuse” and that “I understand fully the magnitude of this post and that I have hurt.”
“This mistake has truly made me realize that something that can seem silly in a private conversation isn’t unnecessary,” she wrote.
“All I’ve done here is spread negativity and hate when that isn’t who I am, I chose to model because I appreciate women and their bodies, so me of all people should never make light of another woman’s naked body.”
Sounds like Dani here went to the Farrah Abraham School of Communication, huh?
She didn’t “make light” of the woman in the photo, she took a naked photo of her without her consent, shared it with countless people, and cruelly mocked her appearance on top of it all.
She might be a literal monster.
Even after the apology, Dani was suspended from her radio show gig, and she was banned for life from her gym.
And now things are getting even better, because she’s officially been charged with invasion of privacy.
Justice is real y’all.
It took a while, but the LAPD was able to locate the woman in the photo — a woman in her 70s — and she agreed to cooperate with authorities.
As of now, we don’t have any details about the court case, but we do know that if Dani is convicted on this charge, she’ll face six months in jail.
Yeah, it seems like kind of short sentence, considering that if she is convicted, there’s a good chance she won’t even serve a fraction of those six months.
But this is 2016: we can’t lock her up in the stocks in the town square and throw rotten produce at her, as satisfying as that may be.
We’ll just have to hope that all this, the charges, the backlash, and maybe a few minutes in jail will teach her a lesson about how to behave like a decent human being.

Ryan Lochte Gets Charged, Could Go to Jail
Ryan Lochte may or may not go Dancing with the Stars.
He also may or may not go to prison.
The moronic swimmer – who has won 12 medals in his Olympic career, yet very few fans – has officially been charged with a crime by Brazilian authorities.
Late on Thursday, officials in that country charged Lochte with falsifying a police report, stemming from an incident early on the morning of August 14.
For those somehow unaware of what Lochte allegedly did, a refresher:
He and three U.S. swimming teammates were out late partying in Rio. Which is definitely not a crime.
But Lochte then told the press that the quartet got pulled over in a taxi by a group of thugs who pretended to be policemen.
He claimed they flashed a badge and ordered the Olympians to the ground at gunpoint.
Lochte even made himself sound all tough, saying he initially refused to listen to these supposedly armed criminals.
But then police in the area looked into the allegations and could not find evidence any crime had been committed.
Lochte had already bolted back home to the United States, but his teammates had their passports confiscated and were forced to come clean to the police.
In doing so, the admitted that a drunken Lochte had vandalized a gas station and the teammates did NOT get robbed.
Yes, a gun was pulled on them, but by a security guard who demanded they pay for the damage they had caused at the gas station.
Lochte initially admitted he was not “careful and candid” enough in the way he originally outlined what had happened.
But the public did not respond well to this half-assed apology, prompting Lochte to sit down with Matt Lauer and try again.
This time, he did take “full responsibility,” fighting off (fake?) tears while saying he let his teammates down and adding:
“I don’t want them to think that I left them dry. I took away from their accomplishments by being immature for one night. That’s what hurts the most.”
Still. He never came out and confessed to his complete lying.
Will Lochte actually go to prison for his misguided explanation of events?
It’s possible, at least.
Brazilian officials have already summoned the swimmer to Rio for a hearing, but here’s the thing: the charge is not an extraditable offense.
He can’t be forced to show up in any court.
Moreover, yes, the charge could conceivably land the athlete in jail for up to six months, but there’s a better chance Lochte beats Michael Phelps in a race tomorrow than he spends any time behind bars.
The likelihood is that Lochte’s legal team will negotiate a fine similar to the one that teammate Jimmy Feigen paid: $ 11,000, donated to charity.
The case will then go away.
We wish Lochte would do the same.
