Kim Zolciak: SLAMMED For Giving Pit Bull Puppy to Son as Gift!
Back in April, Kim Zolciak’s 4-year-old son Kash was severely injured after being attacked by a dog.
Zolciak updated fans on Kash’s recovery via social media, but she kept certain details to herself, and as a result, the severity of the attack remains something of a mystery.
Based on what we know, it sounds as though Kash’s injuries bordered on life-threatening.
Zolciak described her son as “traumatized” and revealed that he nearly “lost a very important organ,” though she never specified which one.
Kim is under no obligation to divulge the details of her son’s condition, but from what she chose to share, we can surmise that the incident left Kash with both physical and psychological scars that could last a lifetime.
It’s for that reason that many fans are shocked by Kim’s choice of present for her son’s fifth birthday.
According to a Snapchat from Kim posted yesterday, she and husband Kroy Biermann surprised Kash with a pit bull puppy.
She shared a photo of the boy and his dog with fans, most of whom have been supportive of her decision.
She captioned the photo:
“My heart is going to explode.”
The choice of present resulted in some negative comments online for obvious reasons.
Some bashed Kim as insensitive for putting the child in a position where showing fear would mean rejecting a birthday present from his parents.
Others defended the reality star, pointing out that she’s posted photos of Kash playing with dogs n more than one occasion since his attack.
Knowing next to nothing about Kash’s psychological state in the months following the attack, it’s impossible for us to say if the gift of a puppy was a bad idea or just what the doctor ordered.
Whatever the case, it seems Kim’s youngest is recovering nicely.
Kash started kindergarten earlier this week, and it seems the occasion took a serious emotional toll on Kim.
“My nugget Kash is a bit more sensitive and shy. There is something about boys that just gets me,” Zolciak captioned an Instagram pic on Monday.
“THANK YOU for all of your sweet comments through all my tears last night I didn’t feel as crazy knowing so many of you are going through the same. Love all of you have a fantastic day and I’ll let you know if I hop in my car and go pick him up.”
No matter what she does, fans will likely continue to question Kim’s parenting methods, but there’s no questioning her love for her kids.

10-Year Old Receives Shotgun as Gift, Cries Tears of Joy
Controversy has broken out online over what is depicted in the following video.
Shared on its Facebook page by gun manufacturer Beretta, the clip features a 10-year old girl sitting in the seat of a pickup truck and opening up a present.
She tears off the wrapper as quickly as she can and then instantly breaks into tears upon seeing what is inside the box.
It"s a shotgun.
“Oh my goodness, this is crazy, oh my, I can"t breathe,” says the girl, prior to being encouraged by unseen adults to open the weapon"s case.
When the young recipient sees the model of shotgun (a 686 Silver Pigeon), she screams with pure happiness.
"Making memories starts the moment you open your first 686," wrote Beretta along with the post, adding:
"A touching video sent by Presley"s parents, shows the emotional moment when she realizes she finally has her very own 686 Silver Pigeon."
The video has been shared over 30,000 times as of this writing and, as you might expect, has generated quite a few comments from gun advocates and gun control advocates.

Students Surprise Teacher with Perfect Xmas Gift
The days of getting one"s favorite teacher a red ad shiny apple are apparently long gone.
At least for one group of students in California.
In the following video, we see a classroom in Edgewood High School in West Covina ad a teacher sitting in front of his desk.
The teacher"s name is Taylor Kerby and his students have pooled money together to present him with something very special.
As the story goes, when school started a couple months ago, Kerby saw one of his students wearing some red Vans and noted that he wanted a pair too.
They weren"t something he would dare buy for himself, however.
A few days prior to the holidays, however, his students thought it would be the ideal time to surprise him with his very own bright red pair of sneakers.
And because cell phones were permitted in the classroom, we got to see Taylor"s reaction to this gift.

Amy Schumer Shocks Dad with Best Christmas Gift EVER
Amy Schumer is most definitely not fat.
But she is undoubtedly phat at the moment, at least in the eyes of her overwhelmed father.
The talented comedian, actress and writer has made headlines for ensuring that Christmas came a few days early for her father, surprising him with a gift that he most certainly did not see coming:
His very own farm.
We mean this literally:
His actual very own farm. The one he used to actually own.
On Monday, Schumer shared a screenshot on her Instagram account of a FaceTime conversation she had over the weekend with her dad, Gordon.
She captioned the photo with a simple sentence: “Today I bought my father’s farm back.”
But it’s actually not that simple.
It’s a bit more complicated and a lot more sentimental…
When Schumer was just nine years old, her father was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. (Yes, this is where Schumer came up with the storyline in her hit movie Trainwreck, which featured Schumer’s character’s dad having the same illness.)
As a result the ailment, the family went bankrupt, forcing them to leave the farm she loved as a child.
Mostly loved, that is. Just not all the time.
Schumer also posted footage on her social media page of a video of herself on the farm when she was very young.
She wrote as a caption to the adorable sneak peek:
“Video from the farm when I was running away in the cornfield and my dad was taunting me because I wanted him to come with me.
“We lost the farm when we lost everything else. But today I got to buy it back for him.”
Schumer has previously opened up about her father’s battle with multiple sclerosis, talking about the way in which she drew from her real-life experiences while writing the script for Trainwreck.
The actress has said that humor was a major way her family got through the most challenging times.
“In terms of my dad being sick, it was just confusing to me, especially the way MS works,” Schumer explained during her interview for ABC’s Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2015.
She added late last year:
“He was in physical pain. That’s when I kind of took the lead and took care of everybody in my family. I would keep them – I would keep everybody laughing.”
This isn’t the first time Schumer has been there for her dad in an unexpected and AWESOME manner.
Earlier this year, she arranged for him to have a FaceTime conversation with “the love of his life,” actress Goldie Hawn.
For real!
And yet, somehow, through all of this, Amy Schumer haters still remain.
