Lyric McHenry: How Did She Die? Who Moved Her Body?
We have new details on the shocking death of former E! reality star Lyric McHenry.
Just be warned:
They are horrifying to read.
McHenry, as you may recall, was found dead in mid-August at the age of 26.
Her body was discovered in the very early morning on the street in New York City, with sources saying she was only wearing underwear and a pajama top.
She was also discovered with a zip lock bag of cocaine in her possession.
McHenry was known to television viewers for her appearances on EJNYC, a spinoff of Rich Kids of Beverly Hills that centered on Magic Johnson’s son, EJ.
There was even talk that McHenry was pregnant at the time of her death.
Now, nearly three months after this tragedy, an affidavit obtained by E! News confirms that Lyric dies from an overdose of cocaine, heroin and alcohol.
This same reliable outlet also reports that a 29-year-old man named Alexis Meija-Ramirez has been arrested and charged with concealment of a human corpse and tampering with physical evidence.
Meija-Ramirez and “two other male individuals” allegedly transported McHenry’s body above the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx neighborhood, this document states.
Police arrived at this conclusion with the assistance of surveillance footage and witness interviews.
On October 26, Mejia-Ramirez was released from jail on a $ 1,500 bond, an official at the Bronx District Attorney’s Office has also confirmed.
McHenry’s passing took place just hours after she celebrated her 26th birthday during a night out with friends.
In videos shared on her Instagram Story, the 26-year old was at The Frederick Hotel, the Soho Grand Hotel and the Dream Hotel, smiling at various points in the footage and seemingly having a great time.
In the wake of her death, family members and friends spoke out in total shock and sadness.
They said McHenry had no history of drug use or abuse and fought back against the assumptions many had been making about the kind of person McHenry had to have been, based on the way she was found.
Said her family in a statement:
“What is factual and known is that Lyric who just turned 26 last week on August 6, was a brilliant, creative, and lovely young woman…
“She was a Christian who grew up in Los Angeles and attended the Center for Early Education…
“Lyric graduated from Stanford University in 2014. Where she studied in Paris, France for a year. And spoke fluent French…
“Lyric’s warmth, compassion, and energy will be missed by many. And the family would appreciate that all speculation surrounding the circumstances of death cease.”
EJ Johnson, who was close friends with McHenry, also issued a brief statement on Lyric. It read:
“I’m going to make this clear to everyone there will be no mourning post because I’m not going to reduce a 25yr friendship to 1 Instagram post.
“Please respect my privacy and my process.”
McHenry was laid to rest in early September.

Kody Brown and the Sister Wives Have Moved to Arizona!
While Sister Wives daughter Mariah Brown gushes about her move to Chicago, Kody Brown and the sister wives themselves have uprooted their family for a move of their own.
Kody and the sister wives left Vegas to move to Flagstaff, Arizona. They announced the move months ago, but have made some progress since then.
Here is what we know about their big move:
In July, the Browns put out a statement explaining why they were making this drastic change.
“As much as we’ve loved making our home and memories here in Las Vegas,” the statement began.
The statement continued: “we are excited to embark on a new adventure in Flagstaff, Arizona.”
“We are looking forward to cooler temperatures, the mountain air, scenic views,” the statement read.
The statement concluded, adding: “and the slower lifestyle of Flagstaff.”
At present, Kody and his wives and their young children have yet to actually move into new, permanent residences.
Don’t get us wrong — they’re lviing in Flagstaff. They made the move.
But apparently they’re currently living in four rentals, which are scattered throughout Flagstaff, and have also rented a commercial building.
In a recent interview with The Associated Press, Kody joked about the tangled logistical ngihtmare of moving so many people before their new homes are actually built.
“We moved to heaven,” he joked. “But we’re living in hell right now.”
Once their new residences are ready, however, it looks like they’ll be living in paradise.
Kody and the sister wives have spent $ 820,000 on purchasing their new properties, which will allow them to live in close proximity to each other.
The purchase of the four lots makes for a combined 15 acres of land.
It is also close to downtown Flagstaff.
But they’ll have to wait for their new homes to be built. In the mean times, they deal with inconvenience and a little chaos while their lives hang in limbo.
Even before they made their move to Flagstaff, Meri Brown spoke of her excitement alongside a photo of the open sky.
“Anyone who knows me well knows how much I love the mountains, the peace, calm, & serenity that can be found there,” Meri began.
Her post continued: “Since moving away from Utah I’ve missed being able to head up to my favorite mountain anytime I want.”
“But I’m looking forward to our move to the mountains of Arizona,” Meri expressed hopefully.
Meri concluded that she is excited about “the road that’s stretched out ahead of me and the promise it holds.”
Robyn Brown snapped a photo of a deer, writing: “I came upon this lovely creature in my backyard. It was an accident that I got so close. I had to snap a picture.”
“She just stopped and stared at me for the longest time,” Robyn shared. “I think she saw into my soul.”
“Ari has been scared of the deer we have been seeing,” Robyn continued. “But I explained they were nice and safe.”
“Now,” Robyn shared. “She loves watching them through the window. ‘They are nice happy deer!’ she says.”
Hopefully we’ll get to see a lot of their new experiences when Sister Wives returns on January 4!

Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff Have Moved On. Why Can"t You?
Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff got divorced in May of 2016.
That was about two and a half years ago.
Since then, the Little People, Big World have continued to not only work together on their farm, but they’ve also lived very close to each other, residing barely a few hundred yards apart.
All things considered, they’ve navigated their split very well, very maturely and very amicably.
They continue to each spend a lot of time with their four children and, over the past several months, with their two grandchildren.
Meanwhile, over the past year or so, each TLC star has also found love and affection with a new significant other:
Amy is dating a real estate agent named Chris Marek; while Matt is romancing former Roloff Farms manager Caryn Chandler.
Has there been the occasional awkward situation, such as when Caryn organized a birthday party last fall and failed to invite Amy? Sure.
But it’s worth repeating:
Taken all of these issues into account, Matt and Amy get along far better than most other couples who get divorced.
This is all a lengthy way to note that the Roloffs have moved on from their marriage, prompting us to ask a question of far too many social media critics and trolls out there:
Why haven’t you?!?
In the Comments section of pictures that feature Chris and Amy (such as the one above) or that depict Matt and Caryn (such as the one below), you will inevitably find numerous disaparaging remarks.
There’s been this weird consistent theme, for example, that Marek is only using Amy for her fame and fortune.
Heck, in one instance, folks ganged up on Chris and accused him of not liking Amy because he’s gay.
The criticism that has come Matt and Caryn’s way has at least been a bit more understandable.
Chandler, after all, was fairly close to Amy when she started dating Matt.
There was bound to be some awkwardness and some tension after she started seeing her acquaintance’s ex-husband, even if she waited until the divorce was finalized before doing so.
Amy herself has admitted that having Caryn in her life too frequently can be unhealthy, a point of view Chandler seems to completely respect.
So if Matt is fine with Amy dating, and if Amy is happily enjoying her time with Chris, not giving her ex a second thought… why are others so bothered by their new relationships?
Just consider this comment from Instagram user @armstrng16, who wrote in response to a photo of Chandler and Roloff:
I don’t like Karen [sic] at all. never have. She is one of the reason they got divorced. You could tell those two where messing around.
What? Huh? You could not tell this at all.
Or consider this comment from Instagram user @filomenarotante:
Amy it’s over & I do wish you well with CHRIS but do not compare your marriage to your new life now with Chris.
What? Huh? When has she ever done this?
Can we just stop please, people?
We know the Internet is a place where many opinions are shared and, sadly, where the negative ones are often shared the most often.
But Matt is happy! Amy is happy! They each appear to be happy for the other one!
Why is it so difficult to everyone else to get on this same page?

Amber Portwood: Andrew Glennon FINALLY Moved In With Me!
When it was first revealed that Amber Portwood and Andrew Glennon were dating, many Teen Mom: OG fans hoped that the relationship would prove to be a short-lived rebound fling.
Clearly, that hasn’t proven to be the case.
Though their relationship began under inauspicious circumstances (Glennon is a producer on Marriage Boot Camp. He met Portwood when she appeared on the show with her ex-fiance, Matt Baier.) it seems to have flourished in recent months.
Currently, Portwood is pregnant with Glennon’s baby.
It’s the first child for Amber and the second for Andrew.
Fans were initially perplexed about how the relationship would proceed from here, as Amber resides in Indiana, and Glennon has built a successful career in Los Angeles.
But it seems Andrew has chosen true love (and, of course, a career in front of the camera) by re-locating to Indiana in order to be closer to Amber and his future son.
According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Amber revealed the news in response to some trash talk from an Instagram follower:
“Did he really go for a visit and never went back home just like Matt?” the fan commented on a photo of Amber and Andrew hanging out at her home.
“No? He had a whole life and career in LA,” Amber replied.
“He couldn’t just up and leave his family. It was a big decision on his part to move to Indiana and it’s been a great decision.”
Yes, Ms. Portwood made the big reveal in rather non-chalant fashion, which seems to be her M.O. lately.
Just last week, Amber revealed her baby’s name during a casual Twitter conversation with her brother.
Speaking of Shawn Portwood (or “Bubby,” as he’s known to TM:OG fans), Amber and Andrew recently made a trip to Florida so that her beloved brother could meet her baby daddy for the first time.
It’s a move that has many wondering if Glennon is gearing up to pop the question.
As viewers know, Amber is extremely (some would say creepily) close with her brother, and she’s stated in the past that she would never marry a man without getting Shawn’s approval first.
Obviously, it would be a very fast proposal, as Amber and Andrew have only known each other a few months, but then again, they’re already living together with a kid on the way.
At this point, marriage wouldn’t even be their biggest commitment to one another.
So don’t be surprised to hear an engagement announcement in the very near future.

Bride Recites Vows to 4-Year Old Stepson and He"s Not the Only One Moved to Tears
If you’re someone who often cries at weddings, consider yourself warned:
You definitely want to watch the following video. That much is certain.
You just want to watch it with a basket full of tissues. Take note.
This past Saturday, U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Joshua Newville exchanged vows with Senior Airman Emily Leehan.
As beautiful as those vows were, however, they are not the reason this relationship and this story have gone viral.
Instead, this tale has garnered our attention because Emily did not just recite a set of vows to her new husband; she also recited a set of vows to his son, a four-year old named Gage.
“I want you to be safe, and to try your hardest, and to be a good person,” Leehan says as the toddler stands in front of his father at Quincy Cellars in Ripley, New York.
As Leehan keep reading, Gage starts to cry, eventually rushing forward to wrap his arms around his new stepmom’s waist.
Emily, in turns, attempts to keep sticking to her beautiful script, but Gage makes doing so just a tad bit challenging.
“I know that you and I will butt heads, but—” she says before she’s interrupted by Gage’s precious weeping.
“Buddy, it’s okay,” Gage’s dad says, pulling his child in for a hug.
However, Gage can’t help it.
He continues to cry, burying his face into his father’s Marine uniform.
Continues Emily, prior to bending down and giving her stepson a hug and a kiss:
“You have helped make me into the woman that I am today, and I may not have given you the gift of life, but life surely gave me the gift of you.”
After the ceremony concluded, Newville says that people approached Gage to tell him he did a terrific job at the altar.
“We were telling him, ‘You did awesome,’ and our family and friends were saying that and told him he made it even better,” Newville told ABC News.
What a beautiful story and family.
The couple remains on active military duty, and will not go on a honeymoon; not yet at least.
ABC reports that Emily and Joshua will instead return to their home at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey.

Kourtney Kardashian: Has She Moved on From Justin Bieber?
Over the holidays, rumors about Kourtney Kardashian and Justin Bieber hooking up were everywhere online.
Neither party denied came forward to issue a denial, so we can safely assume they really were banging.
Unfortunately for Kourtney, the Biebs gonna Biebs, and photos of the singer kissing Hailey Baldwin on New Year’s Eve brought an abrupt end to their fling.
So we know that Justin has moved on, and it’s been confirmed that Scott Disick is dating Lina Sandberg. Now the question remains: Is Kourt ready to get back on the market, too?
Not quite, it seems:
“She can’t meet anyone with her obligations as a mother,” a source tells Hollywood Life, adding that Kourtney’s “her issues with Scott and her celebrity” make it difficult for her to start a new relationship.
“It is very hard to meet anyone because she really doesn’t know what the guy is after and she doesn’t want to introduce another father figure to her kids right now,” the insider claims.
Plus, there’s that whole problem of Kourtney being attracted to raging D-bags, which we imagine makes it difficult to find suitable boyfriend material.
We know this is a radical idea for a member of the Kardashian clan, but maybe Kourtney should just try being single for a while.
