A few days after debuting their latest single at a concert in Ireland, One Direction has come out with the official music video for "Perfect."
And, once again, it has fans wondering whether the footage is a passive aggressive slam against Taylor Swift.
The video is set in New York, a city Swift now calls home and one she sang about in the appropriately-titled song "Welcome to New York."
We see members of the British boy band here at the InterContinental Hotel, as they trash their hotel room, look out the massive windows onto The Big Apple and run through the halls.
Swift is believed to have written about her relationship with Harry Styles in the track "Style."
In this supposed revenge single, One Direction sings “And if you like cameras flashing every time we go out/If you’re looking for someone to write your breakup songs about,” just as the camera camera cuts right to Swift’s ex, Styles.
Are we reading too much into the music video and the song itself? Watch and decide for yourself!
