The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap: I"m Hard to Love

On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 Episode 14, Kyle and Kim Richards met face to face after not speaking for months.

Months.

You don’t even have to watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online to know that the relationship between the sisters is tumultuous.

To say that Kim and Kyle Richards have had many ups and downs is like saying that Farrah Abraham makes questionable life decisions.

Unlike Farrah, though, Kim and Kyle are keenly aware of this, and that level of understanding helped bring them back together to talk.

At last. And the conversation was most notable for what it did NOT involve – gossip about Kim’s rehab or arrest, or screaming or arguing.

Just them, together.

Kyle revealed that in recent days, her long-troubled and often controversial sibling had showed up with a “beautiful birthday gift.”

“All the sudden I just looked up and there was my sister,” Kyle said, adding that she “wants to start” a better conversation now.

“I’m stronger. I’m in a healthier, better place,” Kim said, adding that going at it in front of the group was a big part of their undoing.

“That’s where everything took a terrible turn for you and I,” Kim said, while Kyle admitted it’s “safer just keeping [Kim] at arm’s length.”

Being comfortable with the work that repairing a relationship entails, rather than avoiding it, is “the part I have to work on,” Kyle acknowledged.

Kim, for her part, confessed to the cameras that “I love [her] with all my heart,” while Kyle confessed that she thought Kim hated her.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

“I guess I’m hard to love,” she said.

“I love you,” Kim told Kyle.

End. Scene.
