Ariel Winter Rocks a Crop Top, Blows Everyone"s Minds
Ariel Winter sure knows how to catch our attention.
This time, it isn’t with a bikini photo or showing off her spectacular butt.
No, it’s just with her outfit of the day. A regular outfit that she might wear out somewhere. Yet we’re still trying to pick our jaws off of the floor.
Ariel Winter’s given the world a close look at her butt tattoo and shown a variety of poses as she wears a bikini and floats on a pizza slice.
So it’s not like there’s so much of Ariel that we haven’t seen before.
But are you guys familiar with the concept of “less is more?”
While that kind of philosophy sounds like a nightmare if you’re talking about how much mac and cheese you’re getting on your plate, it can actually make for some delightfully provocative and sexy looks.
How do we explain this.
Picture a celebrity you think is hot, like Kendall Jenner or Jason Momoa or whatever.
If they’re in a tank top, your eyes are going to be looking at their arms and shoulders and you’ll really get to appreciate those parts of the human form.
If they’re shirtless, your eyes are going to be on their torso — which is totally hot, don’t get us wrong.
But you’re going to be ignoring those glorious shoulders or whatever.
Just like how loose fitting clothing can be as sexy as tight clothing, covering up very selectively can be as alluring as baring it all.
(Variety is sexy, so don’t be afraid to shake things up)
Ariel Winter’s new outfit is another great example:
She looks so good!
Like, full disclosure, I’ve never been a fan of high-waisted jeans.
Remember the days of the ultra-low rider jeans?
Those were great.
And I’m highkey looking forward to when the fashion pendulum swings back in that direction.
But Ariel Winter looks so freaking amazing in this look.
Crop tops, on the other hand, I’ve always loved.
No matter what your figure or your gender, please never hesitate to wear them if you want to.
Especially during the reign of the hateful burning orb … that is, summer.
Look again:
Ariel Winter shared these photos to her Instagram story, and honestly, it’s a blessing.
Not just because she looks amazing — she always does.
There are people who think that you need a very specific body type to wear crop tops.
That very specific body type is, like, Kendall Jenner’s.
The people who think that way are fools and body-shamers.
Ariel Winter is curvy and she looks beautifully soft and, honestly, good for her.
Admittedly, we’ve seen her baring her midriff in bikinis and when she was rocking daisy dukes.
But this is a more normal outfit, like something that you’d see while out shopping.
Which means that her young fans might feel the encouragement that they need to dress how they want to and to live their best lives.
Ariel Winter is strikingly gorgeous, but there are people who think that certain outfits would be “unflattering” on her.
Like, a clown outfit would be unflattering, but that’s because clowns are hideous beasts from the netherworld that come out of the forests to devour humanity’s young.
In general, though, Ariel is gorgeous and exposed to body-shaming more than anyone should be.
But everyday folks, fans of hers or not, should ask themselves:
If someone as gorgeous as Ariel Winter wears what she wants and gets body-shamed, it’s not on her — it’s because the body-shamers have issues.
A little perspective could help them ignore their own haters.

Saturday Night Live Blows Viewers Away with Cold Open
There are many questions American citizens now have with Donald Trump having been elected the 45th President of their country.
Will he deport law-abiding immigrants? Will he build a wall? Will he ban Muslims from the country? Will he last a full term in office?
And also this: How would Saturday Night Live react to his election?
The last question was answered this weekend… in truly memorable fashion.
The NBC sketch series opened last night with Kate McKinnon dressed as Hillary Clinton.
But there were no witty lines of dialogue. There were no tears being cried. There was no interaction with Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump
Instead, McKinnon simply say at a piano and sang the song “Hallelujah.”
This was especially poignant because Leonard Cohen died this week, leaving this world as the man responsible for having written that iconic ballad.
At the end of her rendition, McKinnon turned to the camera, and as Clinton, told viewers “I’m not giving up, and neither should you.”
It was an amazing decision by Saturday Night Live. Some people are comparing McKinnon’s version here to when Paul Simon sang “The Boxer” on SNL’s first episode after 9/11

Justin Bieber Wears World"s Worst Disguise, Blows Snot on Fans
Nice try, Justin Bieber.
Actually, we take it back:
Terrible try, Justin Bieber. Really, really, really terrible try.
The singer has been over in Europe for the past few weeks on the latest leg of his world tour.
He recently stopped by Amsterdam and apparently wanted to stroll through the city without being bombarded by fans.
We can understand that desire. We can sympathize with celebrities who never enjoy a moment of privacy.
But that doesn’t mean we’re not about to laugh hilariously as the steps Bieber took in order to remain incognito.
Mostly because they failed so miserably.
Multiple pedestrians in Amsterdam easily spotted the singer out and about this week, despite his wig and fake facial hair.
And, ironically, the donning of this absurd disguise simply made Bieber’s presence in that city stand out even further, considering numerous Twitter users shared photos of Bieber online in his ridiculous get-up.

And then what might go down as the greatest picture to ever hit the Internet:
Despite his best efforts to go unnoticed, Bieber attracted as many followers than ever while he was in the Netherlands, as folks clamored to snap pictures of the artist in this costume.
But perhaps that was Justin’s plan all along.
Perhaps he wanted to divert attention from another unfortunate incident that befell the singer while abroad.
We speak of the time he sneezed and doused numerous concert attendees with far more snot than they probably wanted to fall upon their heads.

Who are we kidding, though?
The young women in the first row likely haven’t even showered since getting covered in Justin Bieber boogers.
Bieber has actually been relatively quiet over the past several months.
He dated Sofia Richie over the summer and then deleted his Instagram account after Richie received death threats and Selena Gomez called out her ex-boyfriend over that social media platform.
Justin and Sofia eventually split, but the former hasn’t really spoken on that breakup, either.
He’s sort of just been doing his own thing for awhile now, performing various shows for fans in various countries and not throwing a single egg at a single neighbor.
As far as we know, at least.
Trying to wear a disguise while in another country just proves even more how Bieber wants some time to himself these days.
We don’t blame him. We think it’s a great idea even.
We just can’t stop laughing at the way he went about trying to accomplish that goal.

Grace VanderWaal Returns to America’s Got Talent, Blows Us Away
Remember Grace VanderWaal?
You"d be forgiven if you did not.
The 12-year old blew away the judges with her initial America’s Got Talent audition, so much so that Simon Cowell referred to her as “the next Taylor Swift,” while Howie Mandell used his Golden Buzzer on the young hopeful.
She played her ukulele and sang an original song at the time.
Receiving the Golden Buzzer honor meant VanderWaal was sent straight to the live rounds, in which she was then placed in the fourth group of quarterfinalists.
America"s Got Talent then took a break for coverage of the Summer Olympics, which meant VanderWaal had not appeared on the show in well over a month.
But she made us remember why we fell in love almost as soon as she opened her mouth on Tuesday night.
This time around, Grace sang a track about her older sister, Olivia, who she said was her “best friend."
It was titled “I’ll Hold Your Hand” and it prompted a standing ovation from all four panelists.
"I always believe these shows are about finding potential,” Cowell said in response to the performance. “There’s something so sweet, so charming about you, so real…
"I’m going to predict they’re all going to remember in years to come the moment we saw Grace sing live."
Added Heidi Klum: "You are so very talented… you are one in a million.”
As for Howie Mandel? He may have gone a bit overboard with his praise:
“You are my Golden Buzzer in life. I predict that you’re bigger than Taylor Swift. I predict that you are the biggest star to come out of this show… You are a superstar. America’s gotta vote. You’re the best thing I’ve seen on this show.”
Wow. Did VanderWaal deserve these compliments?

Adele Fan Joins Singer on Stage, Blows Universe Away
Adele is the queen of music.
But she may have accidentally found her princess during a recent show in Los Angeles.
On Tuesday evening, Adele invited a fan up on stage to sing with her.
But that fan ended up being Jamie-Grace Harper, a Grammy-nominated musician who has released two albums and actually won several awards.
Adele was unaware of this when she extended the invitation.
“Take it away, sing whatever you want,” Adele told her guest, which resulted in Harper belting out a few lines of Adele"s "Remedy."
She followed this up with a rendition “I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You.”
AND IT WAS AMAZING!
The look on Adele"s face in the following video is simply priceless.
And the same can be said of Harper"s subsequent note on Facebook.
"two nights ago i asked Adele if i could sing with her. she said yes. wait, what?! THANK YOU, Adele!!! Seriously," Harper wrote, adding:
"You"re a gem and it was lovely to sing for you and your beautiful audience."
The pleasure of listening was all ours, Jamie-Grace!

Trent Harmon Blows Away Judges on American Idol
Trent Harmon has advanced all the way to the final eight contestants on American Idol.
But the 25-year old waiter from Mississippi has seemingly received more attention over the past few weeks for his facial expressions that his actual voice.
The guy is unafraid to emote, that"s for sure.
But Harmon stepped up and performed a version of "When a Man Loves a Woman" on Thursday night, making it nearly impossible for anyone to discuss anything except his strong chances of winning.
"I love your voice and I particularly love it on high sustained notes," judge Harry Connick Jr. told Harmon. "It’s such a great gift and you do it so well
Jennifer Lopez, meanwhile, told Trent not to change anything at all about his performances.
“Listen, it’s you," she said. "The faces are you. The vibratos are you."
Lopez went on to compare Harmon to La’Porsha Renae, who she had previous labeled as the one to beat on the final season of American Idol.
But this may now be a two horse singer race!

Josh Duggar: HIDING in Rehab Until Sex Scandal Blows Over, Making Anna Raise Kids Alone!
Disgraced reality star Josh Duggar has been hiding out in a secluded, sex addiction rehab program in Illinois for half a year now.
All the while, his scorned and long-suffering wife Anna Duggar is raising their four kids on her own, toiling away until his return.
When will that be? No one knows. But it’s not cool.
Anna, who’s homeschooling the couple’s children, is effectively a single mom who has borne all the responsibilities of child-rearing.
Granted, she was doing the bulk of the work before while Josh was looking at Internet porn and cruising Ashley Madison for mistresses.
(Reports that Josh got Anna Duggar pregnant during a conjugal visit appear to be false; Anna would have a hard time hiding it this long.)
In any case … what is Josh’s deal at this point?
For a man supposedly focused on recovery, and desperate to save his marriage, one wonders what the hell he’s still doing in rehab.
Yes, we know that an addict can’t change his ways overnight, and whatever special “program” he’s in should be given time to take hold.
In reality, all men are kind of sex addicts though.
Some just choose to have respect for their wives and not go on Ashley Madison and/or pay strippers for rough sex. Just food for thought.
Regardless of the merits of sex addiction rehab, it’s been six months. Is it not time for him to return to his marriage and help heal that?
Given that first-timers usually stay in rehab for 30, 60 or 90 days, the only logical conclusion is that Duggar is using “rehab” as an excuse.
Whether he’s been stashed away by his parents or staying put of his own volition, this reeks of a strategy to stay out of the public eye.
And it’s borderline shameful if you ask us.
Yes, the longer Josh stays out of the public eye, the more we talk about Jana Duggar and Jill’s second pregnancy (supposedly) instead.
But for a dude you would think is eager to change his image – that of a hypocrite, and terrible husband and father – it’s a fine line indeed.
The Duggars reportedly lost a staggering $ 25 million in 2015 due to lost book deals, endorsements and speaking engagements.
Josh was to blame for that, and also did some bad things, so the Duggars’ desire to distance themselves is understandable. To a degree.
Except for the fact that 1. Anna Duggar suffers for it, and 2. Money and power seem to matter most to this supposedly virtuous family.

MacKenzie Bourg Says Something, Blows Away American Idol Judges
Things have turned serious on American Idol.
We"re long past the point of silly auditions and headline-making stunts such as Kanye West jokingly trying out for the show.
The Top 24 has been named. The semifinals are on. And each week is bringing us closer and closer to naming the final American Idol champion.
Might it be MacKenzie Bourg?
After impressing the panelists with an original song during Hollywood Week, the former The Voice contestant took at aim the Top 14 on Wednesday night via a rendition of “Say Something.”
He played guitar on this moving A Great Big World ballad and received the following praise from Jennifer Lopez as a result:
"It felt like you felt really good up there. Very natural. You did what MacKenzie does, and that’s exactly what you need to do."
Harry Connick, Jr., meanwhile, praised Bourg for connecting with the lyrics, taking note of how the aspiring artist poured his heart into the song.
“I also liked that you changed the melody but you still kept the integrity of the song," he said, while Keith Urban noted that if this was Bourg’s own track, “I believed every bit of it. It was a really good song choice."

Kylie Jenner Blows E-Cigarette Smoke Rings
Kylie Jenner loves to smoke on social media.
Multiple times last year, the 18-year old reality star lit up in some form or fashion, clearly being high as f-ck at one point during a Snapchat video.
Now, the daughter of Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner is at it again, flaunting her ability to blow O-rings from her E-cigarette while sitting in the passenger seat with BFF Jordyn Woods in a new viral video.
The footage was uploaded on fan account kylizzlesnapchats and it includes a look at Woods driving and recording videos at the same time.
This has also been an issue within the Jenner family.
Both Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner have stirred up controversy via dangerous driving videos.
Remember the time Kylie drove around with a dog in her lap?
Or the time Kendall drove with one leg out the window?
In the grand scheme of life, no, these are not huge deals.
But they"re just stupid things to do and it only takes one accident to change everything forever.
As for Kylie"s latest act?
"We want parents to know that nicotine is dangerous for kids at any age, whether it"s an e-cigarette, hookah, cigarette or cigar," said CDC director Dr. Tom Frieden in a statement last year.
"Adolescence is a critical time for brain development. Nicotine exposure at a young age may cause lasting harm to brain development, promote addiction and lead to sustained tobacco use."
In other words: Stop setting a terrible example, Kylie Jenner.

Demi Lovato Blows Us Away with Adele Cover
Demi Lovato has titled her new album "Confident."
She"s talked openly in interviews about the confidence she hopes to instill in fans and she made it clear in a recent interview that she doesn"t just talk the talk.
She walks the walk. Errr…. she sings the songs.
How do we know? Because it takes a great deal of self-confidence to cover arguably the best singer on the planet. And yet that"s exactly what Lovato went ahead and did at 106.1 KISSFM"s Fall Ball in Seattle on Saturday night.
Demi took to the stage and belted out renditions of her own tracks, such as "Heart Attack," "Neon Lights" and "Cool for the Summer."
But then she blew the figurative roof off the joint by taking a risk and covering Adele"s latest smash hit, "Hello."
Rocking a leather skirt with a matching crop top, Lovato gave an emotional performance that earned her props from all in attendance, not to mention a few big names in music.
Tweeted Becky Go, for instance, who also performed at the event:
"@ddlovato never fails to blow my mind. Wtf just happened. Wow. One of my favorite live vocalist to see in concert."
This is the second time in recent memory where Lovato has proven her vocal abilities, as she also received universal praise for her national anthem during the 2015 World Series.
It"s easy to have confidence when you also have crazy talent, we suppose.
