Johnny Depp Sued By Bodyguards: He Made Us Wipe the Coke Off His Face!
In case you haven’t been keeping up with the sad downward spiral of Johnny Depp in recent months, allow us to quickly fill you in:
Basically, over the course of the past year, the once-beloved actor has gone from brooding weirdo with mystique, a la Edward Scissorhands, to perennially-inebriated shyster who you wouldn’t trust to look after your houseplants, a la some unsettling combo of Captain Jack Sparrow and Depp’s Hunter S. Thompson caricature from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
We won’t even get into Depp’s truly ugly divorce from Amber Heard, with its myriad allegations of physical and psychological abuse.
Instead, we’ll focus on the other legal entanglements that should keep Johnny occupied for his remaining years.
It all started when Depp sued his management team for allegedly allowing him to spend himself to the brink of bankruptcy.
(At a certain level of wealth, you’re literally not accountable for anything you do.)
The management group countersued, claiming that Depp is a habitual liar who spends $ 30,000 a month on wine (seriously).
As we’ve seen time and again in 2018, once a rich and powerful person gets called out in a legal setting, people begin to realize that they’re not actually invincible/
And – taking a cue from his management team – Depp’s security guards are getting in on the act and suing the actor for the astonishing sum of $ 25 million.
Does their case have any merit?
That remains to be seen – but in the meantime, the disgruntled guards are doing a number on Depp’s already battered reputation with some shocking tales of misbehavior.
The bodyguards claim they were initially paid by a private security firm, but when Depp fell on hard times, they agreed to a deal where he would pay them directly – and they were immediately punished for their loyalty.
“Depp began making sudden and drastic changes to his staff and management team, causing a significant financial crunch for everyone surrounding Depp, except for Depp himself,” read court documents obtained by Page Six.
“Plaintiffs were loyal to Depp and his family and understanding of the financial hurricane Depp was in.”
The papers go on to allege:
“Plaintiffs found themselves in situations that required more than what a bodyguard would be expected to do.”
And what were they asked to do?
Basically act as Depp’s personal chauffeurs/babysitters/drug mules/personal assistants.
Lawyers claim the guards “were asked repeatedly to drive vehicles that contained illegal substances” and “open containers” and “were asked to monitor unstable individuals in [Depp’s] life and entourage.”
Their duties were eventually expanded to include serving as the “primary caretakers” of Depp’s children, and occasionally removing the cocaine from his immaculately-manicured mustache.
“Often times Plaintiffs were forced to protect [Depp] from himself and his vices while in public, becoming caretakers for him,” the suit claims.
“A[n] incident at a local nightclub involved Plaintiffs alerting Depp of illegal substances visible on his face and person while preventing onlookers from noticing Depp’s condition.”
The guards go on to claim that Depp created a “toxic and unsafe work environment” that eventually forced them to quit.
As evidence, they cite an incident in which the actor’s head of security shot himself in the leg “while playing with his weapon in a small control room on Johnny Depp’s property.”
Hey, if “playing” with guns while coked out of your guard makes us toxic and unsafe, we don’t want to be whatever the opposite of toxic and unsafe is!
Anyway, you can stop researching that Fear and Loathing role any time now, Johnny.

Megan Barry: Nude Photos of Nashville Mayor Found on Bodyguard"s Phone?
Earlier this month, Nashville Mayor Megan Barry confessed that she engaged in an extramarital affair with Sgt. Robert Forrest, the man she paid at the time to serve as her personal bodyguard.
In making this admission, Barry said she intended to remain in office.
But a new piece of this burgeoning scandal may make it difficult for her to do so.
“I know that God will forgive me, but that Nashville doesn’t have to,” Barry said during a news conference three weeks ago, adding:
“And I hope that I can earn their trust and I can earn your trust back, and that you will forgive me.”
Barry, who is in the middle of her first term, said the affair began a few months after she started her job.
Both Barry and Forrest were married at the time of their relationship, which both now insist is over.
However, the controversy surrounding their dalliance may only be beginning… and this is why:
On Thursday, state investigators discovered one naked photo and one partially nude photo of a woman on Forrest’s cell phone.
According to court documents, these photos were snapped while Forrest’s timesheet stated he was working… and also during the time in which he and Barry were knocking proverbial boots.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has NOT identified the woman in the photos…
… But an agent says (via a sworn affidavit) that the black purse in one snapshot matches the black purse Barry is seen holding in a different photo found on Forrest’s phone.
These two pictures were shot last May and October, on days that Barry’s travel schedule shows she was on separate Washington trips.
In response to this latest aspect of her scandal, Barry said she’s unaware any such photos of her exist and that the allegations surrounding them are “very troubling and infuriating if true.”
We’re not really sure what she means.
We think she’s saying that she never posed for said photos or have anyone permission to include them in emails.
(Authorities discovered the snapshots while coming through Forrest’s email, which included 260 deleted chats between Forrest’s phone and Barry’s phone number, as well as 35 deleted call logs.)
“While I have not seen the photos in question, if they were of me, they were taken without my knowledge or permission and a complete invasion of my privacy,” Barry said in a statement this week.
Forrest was paid overtime on each of the days the photos were taken, according to the court documents.
And this is where the scandal moves from something for celebrity gossip websites to laugh over to something for that may cause authorities to file charges.
Was Barry using tax payer money to finance her affair?
Did she give preferential monetary treatment to her lover?
(Forrest’s overtime pay increased by 83% since Barry took office, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says. The agency compared that with a colleague whose overtime increased 49%.)
“Nothing in the affidavits released today … indicates that I have committed any actions that violate the law,” Barry said in her statement Thursday.
She added: “If any violations of the law occurred, they were in violating my personal rights.”
Yeah, that’s it, Megan Barry.

Amber Heard: Lying About Johnny Depp Assault, Bodyguards Claim
As you’ve probably heard, Amber Heard has accused Johnny Depp of abuse, claiming that the 52-year-old actor threw a drunken tantrum and physically assaulted her in their home on Saturday night.
Heard says Depp smashed various objects around the apartment and threw her iPhone at her face, resulting in visible facial bruising.
Celebrity reactions to Heard’s accusations have been mixed, as most stars believe the actress is telling the truth, while many have pointed out that there are some significant holes in her story.
One star who falls into the latter category is the comedian Doug Stanhope, who penned a guest column for The Wrap yesterday in which he argued that Heard is blackmailing Depp.
Stanhope says he was at Depp’s home on the day of the alleged assault, and the actor basically predicted that Heard would go to great lengths to make him look bad in the press.
Now, the former couple’s bodyguards are corroborating Stanhope’s story, saying that they were the only eyewitnesses to the altercation – and Heard’s version of events doesn’t add up.
The guards, two security veterans named Jerry Judge and Sean Bett, say that stood outside Amber and Johnny’s apartment during the argument in order to give them space.
At one point they heard Amber scream, “Stop hitting me!” and they bolted back inside – where they saw Depp standing an estimated 20 feet away from Heard.
Thus far, Judge and Bett have only told their story to TMZ, but they’ll be asked to testify next month when Amber seeks a permanent restraining order against Depp.
The guards insights into the couple’s relationship could prove damaging, as they both insist that throughout the relationship, it was Heard who flew into violent rages, often throwing bottles and smashing furniture.
Sounds like the drama surrounding the case won’t be subsiding any time soon.
And in the end, the public is sure to have a much, much lower opinion of at least one of these two.

Kylie Jenner Sends Jessica Alba A "Flower Tree" After Bodyguards "Body-Checked" Her During NYFW!
Looks like there’s no bad blood between Jessica Alba and Kylie Jenner!
Last weekend, the Sin City star was “body-checked” by the KUWTK starlet’s bodyguards at the opening ceremony show during New York Fashion Week!
Alba went on to reveal that she “thought there was a fire” after getting bulldozed by security — but the 18-year-old and her boyfriend Tyga were just in a hurry to leave the building.

Kylie Jenner: Bodyguards SHOVED Jessica Alba?!
It’s been an interesting week for Kylie Jenner.
First, Kylie kissed her boyfriend publicly for the first time (a big deal when you’ve been dating someone for a freakin’ year).
Then, less than 24 hours later, Kylie launched her first app (a big deal for her millions of teenage fans who want to look like they’ve had plastic surgery without actually going under the knife).
The girl is getting more media attention than ever these days, and it’s not hard to see how it might go to an 18-year-old’s head.
Kylie’s never made much of an effort to keep her ego in check, but now, Page Six is claiming that she’s getting way too big for her britches, and disrespecting women who have been in the business for much longer and are worth a lot more money than Kylie.
Sources say that at the Opening Ceremony fashion show on Sunday night, Kylie’s bodyguards gave a hard shove to former actress and current billionaire CEO Jessica Alba, when Jessica had the gall to momentarily block Kylie’s way.
“After the show, trying to leave the venue, it was very crowded,” says one witness.
“Everyone was in the crush and Jessica had stopped briefly to say hi to someone when all of a sudden from behind came Jenner’s bodyguards. They just shoved Jessica out of the way. She just looked astonished!”
Yikes. Kylie’s already feuding with Blac Chyna, the last thing she needs is beef with Alba, who’s shaping up to be the next Martha Stewart.
We mean that in the sense that she’s a very wealthy and savvy businesswoman, not in the sense that she’s not afraid to do some time – but who knows? Careful, Kylie!
