Catelynn Lowell Shares Inappropriate Photo of Her Daughter, Gets SO MUCH HATE

Catelynn Lowell has had a rough few months, and most Teen Mom fans seem to be very understanding of that.

After it was revealed that she’d been suffering from suicidal thoughts after having a miscarriage last fall, followers of the show were ready to give her all the support they could.

Every time she’s made a statement on social media about her situation, she’s received so much love and admiration.

And earlier this week, when she revealed that she’d been diagnosed with panic disorder, depression, and PTSD from her traumatic childhood, people were more than willing to applaud her strength.

Which makes sense — she’s been through so much, and it’s great that she’s been taking care of herself and getting the help she needs.

But now that she’s been out of her last stint in rehab for a few weeks, things are starting to get back to normal.

And for the Teen Mom crew, that means sharing photos of her kids that could be considered inappropriate and getting bashed for it by dozens and dozens of strangers.

Nova paintings eggs

Catelynn shared this photo of her three-year-old daughter Nova yesterday, and in the caption, she explained that they were painting Easter eggs.

But many people got upset because … well, you know why they got upset.

“Omg put a shirt on her!!” one of her followers wrote. “Poor little girl! Can’t teach a careless parent sense smh.”

“Jeez, would it kill ya to put an old shirt on the child?” another asked. “There’s a little boy in the background, it’s ok to teach children modesty!”

One person said that Nova going without a shirt was “ok for the house but on the gram like that? Just saying it looks a little weird.”

“And those hearts, kinda tacky for a little girl, kinda looking too adultish for her,” that same person added, sharing the sentiments of many of Cate’s followers.

As another person explained it, “The reality of the situation is that you don’t know what creeps are out there looking the wrong way. Although you may not be, pedophiles and such do exist in every scenario.”

Someone called it “disgusting” for Catelynn to allow Nova to hang out like this, and another said it was “in bad taste whether it’s a girl or boy because most of us are nice but not everyone is and this is a public platform.”

Essentially, Catelynn’s comment section was divided between people who thought it was seriously inappropriate for Nova to be running around without a shirt on and people who thought it was perfectly normal.

Surprisingly not many people recognized that there was a third option: let your toddler do messy activities without clothes and then don’t share a photo of it to three million strangers on the internet.

As a fun little bonus, there was another entirely separate issue that others took with this photo — see that little aquarium in the back?

Lots of Cate’s followers told her that there wasn’t enough water in it and it needed to be cleaned, and that she was a bad pet owner for allowing her tank to get to that state.

Social media, right?

Catelynn responded briefly to both camps of outraged citizens — to the pet brigade, she explained that it’s not a tank for fish, but a tank for turtles, which is apparently a totally different setup.

And to the others, she simply wrote “she’s painting leave the kid alone.”

But, you know, it’s the internet, so that’s not going to happen.

Catelynn Lowell: Roots of PTSD Finally Revealed?

In the past two years, Catelynn Lowell has checked into rehab three times.

While her journey toward greater emotional stability and mental health certainly hasn’t been an easy one, it’s yielded trendous results, making Lowell both a more fulfilled person and a spokesperson for those battling mental illness.

Earlier this week, Lowell revealed that she’s been diagnosed with PTSD.

“It’s panic disorder, PTSD – I like to call myself a trauma survivor – and it’s depression, but it’s co-occurring depression or something like that,” Lowell revealed in a candid interview.

“It will go away and it will come back with the panic disorder.”

Catelynn didn’t go into detail regarding the roots of her trauma, but in the past, she’s spoken at length about her difficult childhood.

Lowell’s father, David, helped shed new light on her painful past this week in a revealing interview with Radar Online:

“I don’t do drugs or drink so mostly it was when we had to move for my job when she was 12,” David told the site about the painful period during which he and his daughter were separated by distance.

“Kids don’t realize that parents have to do whatever it takes to pay support and insurance for their children, even if it means moving to do so.”

David added that his children were always taken care of financially, but said they may not have always received the emotional support they needed:

“I was never a deadbeat dad. One thing I’ve always done is take care of my kids,” he claimed.

“That we both had a hard time dealing with. But we called frequently.”

David went on to reveal that he suspects Catelynn’s mother didn’t always provide a stable home life:

“What her mother did with the money – many different boyfriends and moving all the time – I couldn’t say

As for how Catelynn is faring following her latest rehab stint, David his daughter is in a “wonderful” state of mind.

“She’s doing her aftercare like a champ,” he tells Radar.

“I did go with her to a holistic approach therapist. I believe this is the first time she’s tried it. It involves breathing techniques, aromatics, and of course, talking.”

Closing on a hopeful night, David adds:

“I think she’s won the battle, but staying humble about it. It’s a lifelong affliction.”

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra Reveal Heartbreaking Mental Health Problems

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have been through so much in their lives.

Just way, way too much.

Catelynn has April for a mother, and we’ve seen April be mentally and verbally abusive to her on several occasions in the early seasons of Teen Mom.

Tyler has Butch for a father, and we know it wasn’t easy on him to watch his dad go in and out of jail for literally his entire life.

But because they had such intense issues with their own parents, they were able to make the remarkably responsible, admirable decision to place their daughter Carly for adoption when Catelynn became pregnant at 16.

Unfortunately, even though it was the right thing to do, it was still obviously incredibly painful for them, and it’s clear that they still struggle with their decision somewhat, even today.

When they had their second daughter, Nova, Catelynn developed some serious postpartum depression, so much that she had to check into a treatment center.

And then when she and Tyler decided to try for another baby, she ended up having a miscarriage, which was very hard for both of them.

It was a big trigger for Cate’s depression, and she actually began considering suicide because of it, and so back to rehab she went.

Meanwhile, Tyler struggled at home, dealing with his own grief while caring for Nova and running their household.

Like we’ve said, these two have been through a lot.

But Catelynn’s been home from rehab for a few weeks now, and it looks like she and Tyler are dedicating themselves to raising awareness and bringing attention to the kinds of mental health issues they’ve been dealing with.

They’ve been talking about it on the show, of course, and on social media, and now they’re taking the time to do interviews on the subject.

Earlier this week, they made an appearance on a podcast called Voices for Change 2.0, and they really shared a lot.

And here we were, thinking their story couldn’t get any more heartbreaking …

During the podcast, they both revealed the mental illnesses they’ve been diagnosed with, with Catelynn explaining that she’s dealing with a few different things.

“It’s panic disorder, PTSD — I like to call myself a trauma survivor — and it’s depression, but it’s co-occurring depression or something like that,” she said.

“It will go away and it will come back with the panic disorder.”

She also said that it “kind of surprised” her to be diagnosed with PTSD, but that “it makes a lot of sense too.”

Honestly, if you’ve watched those first few seasons of Teen Mom, a diagnosis of PTSD makes perfect sense.

From the way she was raised to that super painful adoption, it’s actually pretty surprising she didn’t get that diagnosis sooner.

As for Tyler, he revealed that he first felt depressed when he was just 11 years old.

A big issue for him was his father “going in and out of prison all the time,” but he said that “at 11, though, that’s when I attempted suicide and failed.”

If you blocked that horrible story out of your head, he’s been very open about his suicide attempt in the past — he tried to hang himself but it didn’t work, and he had to walk around school with rope burns around his neck.

“After that my mom started to take me to therapy,” he recounted. “I was on anti-depressants a bit.”

But in the past few months he’s been going back to therapy, and he said that people there told him that he could be bipolar.

“That was pretty shocking to figure out,” he admitted, “but also it made a lot of sense back to when I was younger … But that was a lot to obviously digest that day.”

During the podcast, Catelynn also discussed why she felt comfortable airing so much of what she’s been through in the past few months on Teen Mom OG.

“I talked a lot about it with my therapist when I was in treatment,” she said, “my whole thing about me being vulnerable and sharing it. I could have said no to the producers and the people who work on the show and they would have totally understood.”

“If I was like, ‘Listen, I’m going through a rough time and I’m not filming it and I don’t want it to be aired,"” she said that MTV would have respected her wishes.

“But my whole thing is, if I can save somebody’s life and show them that it’s OK to not be OK sometimes and there’s things that you can do to get help, that’s the only reason I did it,” she continued.

“I wanted to bring awareness to the mental health issues and show that it’s real.”

She said that “Some people think, ‘Oh, you’re depressed, get the hell out of bed,’ but no, that’s not how it works. I just wanted to shine a light on that.”

It seems like she’s doing a great job so far, and we couldn’t be prouder of them both for taking care of themselves so well!

Catelynn Lowell Shares Touching Message After Returning Home from Rehab!

If you’ve been keeping up with Catelynn Lowell, then you know that these past several months have not been so kind to her.

In a way, the past several years haven’t been too kind to her, but let’s just stick with these current bad times, OK?

We’ve seen glimpses of what’s been going on, thanks to all the updates Catelynn and Tyler have shared on social media, and now that we’re getting further into this season of Teen Mom OG, the story is coming together.

Last fall, Catelynn and Tyler discussed having another child, and she was able to get pregnant pretty quickly. They told family members, and they were very excited.

But then she had a miscarriage, and it was very difficult for them both.

Things were so bad that Cate admitted to contemplating suicide, and she made the tough decision to check into a treatment center to deal with everything.

She stayed for a while before checking out early to spend the holidays with Tyler and their daughter, but quickly realized she wasn’t ready yet, so she checked back into rehab.

After completing the full six weeks, she returned home, but a few weeks after that, she announced that she’d be checking back into the same center to deal with childhood trauma and to get her medications adjusted.

She completed those six weeks of treatment, and went home just in time to film the Teen Mom reunion special.

So right now, she’s back in Michigan with her family, and hopefully she’s feeling much better now.

Well, we kind of know she’s feeling better now — she said so in a new post she made on Instagram!

The post is in the form of one of those inspirational memes you see floating around social media all the time, and it starts off with “I AM ENOUGH.”

Catelynn meme

“I am full of sparkle and compassion,” the text reads. “I genuinely want to make the world a better place. I love hard. I practice kindness. I am not afraid of the truth.”

“I am loyal, adventurous, supportive, and surprising. I am a woman. I am enough.”

The message, which Catelynn apparently thinks represents herself — and we do too, just to be clear! — continues with “I make mistakes, but I own them and learn from them.”

“Sometimes I make a lot of mistakes.”

In her own caption, she just added a bunch of emojis, like a heart and one of those kissy faces.

It is just a little Instagram post, but this is still a good sign, right?

It’s good that she’s thinking of herself in this way, and we’re hoping this means that she’s really done a lot of work in dealing with everything she’s been through.

And we’re not the only ones loving this kind of positivity — her comments were flooded with fans who are just as proud as can be of her.

“You are a beautiful, strong, amazing woman, mama, and wife!” one such person told her. “Keep fighting, girl!”

Another wrote “You ARE enough! Your journey has been inspiring & I thank you for always sharing with others because I can say it’s definitely helped me. Keep your head up!”

“Sweet girl!” yet another fan told her. “You’ve been through hell in your life and you are working through those traumas. You are beautiful, strong and an inspiration. Don’t forget that!”

It must be so nice for her to be able to hop on Instagram and see so much encouragement, right?

Of course, she does have some haters — she is a reality star, after all.

But it really does look like most people are being kind and considerate and uplifting, which is heartwarming, and almost enough to restore some faith in humanity.

Keep up the good work, Catelynn!

Catelynn Lowell Leaves Rehab Early AGAIN For Shocking Reason!

On Monday, Catelynn Lowell left rehab after several weeks of treatment.

She took to Instagram to reveal to fans that she had returned home to her husband and daughter.

Interestingly, she posted her progress update on the same night that she could be seen checking in for an earlier rehab stint on an episode of Teen Mom OG.

The confluence of events sparked a discussion amongst fans on social media, with many wondering just how many times Catelynn has been to rehab.

The answer, it seems, is three.

And as many viewers pointed out this week, she appears to have left treatment ahead of schedule each time.

Now, some fans are concerned that Catelynn isn’t taking her treatment seriously enough.

A source confirmed to Radar Online today that Cate ended her latest stint earlier than expected – and for a very surprising reason.

“Cate got permission to go home a few days early,” an insider close to Lowell told Radar.

“She wants to be home for a while before getting ready for the reunion.”

The source adds:

“She wants to be able to catch up with her co-stars Maci [Bookout] and Amber [Portwood]. She also wants to get her wardrobe prepped.”

The reunion the insider is referring to is the Teen Mom OG reunion special, which is scheduled to film in New York next month.

Catelynn has always taken her professional duties seriously, but fans are understandably shocked to learn she left rehab early because of the show.

Many feel that Lowell should take an indefinite hiatus in order to focus on her mental health, but it doesn’t seem like that’s in the cards.

Producers claim to have her best interests at heart, but it’s not hard to see why the latest update about Catelynn has generated so much concern.

On the bright side, the insider says Lowell is thrilled to be reunited with her daughter earlier than expected.

“She’s happy to see Nova,” the insider said. “Nova was ecstatic to see her.”

Catelynn Lowell Returns Home From Rehab, Shares Progress With Fans

On last night’s Teen Mom OG, viewers received an in-depth look at the heartbreaking struggle of fan favorite Catelynn Lowell.

In the episode, Catelynn suffered a miscarriage that triggered a relapse of the mental health issues that have plagued her adolescence.

After revealing that she struggled with thoughts of suicide, Catelynn checked into rehab to seek treatment for trauma and severe depression.

The episode ended with an ominous “to be continued…” and offered little in the way of closure and resolution.

Fortunately, thanks to social media and her candid relationship with her fans, we have new information about Catelynn’s plight, and the news is very promising.

The most recent installment of TMOG was filmed back in November, and Catelynn returned to rehab for a second round of treatment in January of this year.

Following last night’s episode, Catelynn took to Instagram to inform fans that she’s back home and working toward recovery.

“Finally home and it feels so good!” Lowell wrote.

Her husband, Tyler Baltierra, also took to social media to share his thoughts on one of the most emotional episodes in the show’s history.

“That baby may have not been fully grown in the womb…but it was fully grown in our hearts,” he tweeted in response to the outpouring of concern over Catelynn’s miscarriage.

“For every parent out there who has lost a baby…it is not your fault & it is more than acceptable & understandable to mourn the loss of that baby & take your time to grieve #ParentStrong”

Throughout this season, Tyler has been applauded for the strength and support he’s provided for Catelynn.

During last night’s episode, he was also praised for opening up about an experience that millions of expectant parents have endured, but few talk about:

“It’s very traumatic. When you see her shaking and she’s got blood everywhere, it’s like … you don’t really know what to do,” he told one of the show’s producers.

“She kind of cleaned herself up, and we kind of figured out what was going on. Spotting is normal, but all the clotting is not. So we just saw on the bed and cried. We just held each other. There’s nothing you can really do.”

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra Confirm Miscarriage, Break Everyone"s Hearts

If you watched last night’s episode of Teen Mom OG, then you know that it contained some pretty heavy scenes.

And if you didn’t … well, just prepare yourself for these heartbreaking spoilers, OK?

During the episode, we saw Farrah lose her mind, just like always, we saw Gary deal with some paternity stuff, and we saw Maci consider a new treatment to deal with her PCOS.

But when it came to Catelynn and Tyler’s story, the story we’re going to be talking about right now, things got just a little more tragic.

For much of this season so far, we saw Catelynn and Tyler discuss having another baby. We saw her doctor’s visit when she had her IUD removed, and then her positive pregnancy test.

We saw her tell Tyler the good news, then we saw them tell their families.

But in this week’s episode, we learn that she suffered a miscarriage.

“It’s very traumatic,” Tyler explained to a producer after it happened. “When you see her shaking and she’s got blood everywhere … you don’t really know what to do.”

“She kind of cleaned herself up, and we kind of figured out what was going on. Spotting is normal, but all the clotting is not.”

After that, he said that they “just sat in the bed and cried and just held each other.”

Tyler then somehow managed to make the story even more tragic by saying “I mean, here’s nothing you can really do, so it felt very similar to Carly.”

Carly, of course, being the daughter they placed for adoption when they were teenagers.

“I mean, Carly’s a little different,” he admitted, “because we have to … we get to see her every year, but it’s a loss, and you feel it.”

“Like, I feel like you process it as a loss. So I guess it’s something I didn’t really understand before.”

Catelynn tried to deal with the loss a few different ways — she practiced breathing exercises, she used a mantra, that kind of thing.

But then a producer told Tyler that Cate had called her and told her that “she wanted to kill herself.”

We already know what happened from there — she checked into a treatment center in Arizona to deal with everything, spent six weeks there, and after a few weeks of being at home she went back for another round.

We never had any doubt that she truly needed the help, and honestly anyone who’s ever watched Teen Mom would likely agree, but after seeing this episode, we’re extra glad she took those steps to take care of herself.

It’s a good thing that Tyler’s been getting some therapy of his own, too, because it’s obvious the miscarriage affected him greatly as well.

As he explained on Twitter after the episode aired, “That baby may have not been fully grown in the womb… but it was fully grown in our hearts.”

“For every parent out there who has lost a baby…it is not your fault & it is more than acceptable & understandable to mourn the loss of that baby & take your time to grieve.”

It was a touching message, and it’s clear that it resonated strongly with many of his followers.

“Last night’s episode was hard,” one person replied to his tweet, “and you two are so damn strong! I wish I had someone who would have done for me what you did for Cate.”

“I’m sorry you guys had to go through that,” another person wrote. “I have had 2 miscarriages.. to most people it was just a lost pregnancy but for me I lost my 2 babies. I love you guys stay strong you will get through this in your own time and your own way.”

One women even commented that she’d had nine miscarriages, and that “it is the hardest thing in my life I had to go through.”

“I wish more people were vocal about it, as it stands it feels so taboo to talk about and makes you feel so alone when you have a miscarriage.”

As difficult as it must have been for Catelynn and Tyler to film throughout all of this, it’s obviously an important topic for many, many people.

As always, we wish them nothing but the best.

Catelynn Lowell Reveals Suicidal Thoughts in Heartbreaking Teen Mom OG Clip

Let"s just get this out of the way before we get started: what we have here is a Teen Mom OG sneak peek in which we see Catelynn Lowell heading off to rehab.

You can probably figure out what that means — it"s really, really hard to watch.

If you"ve been keeping up with the show, you know that in the past couple of episodes, Catelynn and Tyler have been talking about a pregnancy.

She had her positive pregnancy test, she made a "big sister" shirt for Nova, they told their families.

Unfortunately, she had a miscarriage. It"s very common, but that obviously doesn"t make it any less heartbreaking for many people.

And as we"re seeing in this clip, Catelynn had an especially hard time with it.

The video begins with Cate and Tyler in the car, with him driving as she calls his mother, Kim.

"Hi, Mom," she begins — she"s been with Tyler since they were in middle school, so Kim really is like a second mother to her.

Kim asks her what she"s doing, and she tells her that she"s headed to the airport.

And here"s where it gets tough …

When she asks her why she"s going to the airport, Cate says that she"s going to treatment, and she"s clearly fighting tears at this point.

"What made this decision, honey?" Kim asks.

"Because I contemplated every single way I could kill myself today," Catelynn answers, finally breaking down.

As she cries, Kim tells her what a good mother and wife she is, and that she"ll be praying for her while she"s gone — Cate told her she"d be away for around 30 days, though we know she stayed closer to six weeks.

While that conversation is happening, Tyler stays silent, but he"s near tears himself.

It"s all just very, very sad.

Piecing everything together, it"s clear now that the miscarriage set Catelynn"s depression off, and also that it brought several other issues to the surface as well.

She went to rehab in November, shortly after it happened, and she stayed until late December, then went back for another six weeks in January to sort through some childhood trauma.

She"s still there now, but she"s expected to return home soon.

Hopefully she"s feeling a whole, whole lot better now than she did in this clip. It"s hard to imagine it would be possible for her to feel any worse.

Tyler Baltierra: Catelynn Lowell"s Mental Illness is Not My Fault!

Hasn’t Tyler Baltierra been through enough lately?

In case you haven’t been keeping score, he really, really has.

Things have been ridiculously rough for the past couple of months, as we’ve been seeing on Teen Mom OG and as he and Catelynn Lowell have been revealing on social media.

Last fall, he and Cate began trying for another baby, and she quickly became pregnant, but as we’ll see in next week’s episode, she had a miscarriage not long after they began announcing the good news to family.

We don’t know the exact timeline yet — we assume it’ll all become more clear as the season goes on — but it’s easy to imagine that the miscarriage led to her worsening depression.

In November, she made a statement about how she’d been thinking of various ways to kill herself, and afterwards she checked into a treatment center.

Tyler was extremely supportive of her decision, but just before all this happened, he sent his father, Butch, off to rehab for his lifelong struggles with addiction.

So all during that time, he was concerned about his father and his wife, he was dealing with all the emotions from the miscarriage, and he was also taking care of his and Cate’s daughter, Nova, by himself.

It can’t be easy for him right now.

And unfortunately it looks like some people are going out of their way to make things even harder.

OK, so Jenelle did an interview on a podcast last weekend with some people named Vince and Noel — this is the interview in which she admitted to doing drugs during her last pregnancy.

We’re not sure if they talked about Catelynn and Tyler during the podcast, but it looks like Noel made this post on Facebook last month:

As you can see, she’s making light of Cate’s depression, which simply is not cool, especially not now that Cate is having such a hard time with it.

Earlier this week, Tyler saw the screenshots of the post and tweeted them, writing that “This is the most ignorant, vile & insensitive thing I have ever seen. To mock my wife’s suicidal ideation & depression is just sickening to the core!”

He tagged Noel and the other people involved in the podcast and told them that “you’re part of the reason Mental Health has the stigma that it does.”

She defended herself by saying that she has depression herself, and that she uses that kind of humor to deal with it, which kind of makes sense.

But still, she doesn’t know Catelynn, and she was joking about her on social media. It’s understandable why Tyler was so upset.

After Tyler’s tweet, he and Noel had an exchange, and it seems like she deleted some of her tweets. Here’s a screenshot of part of one:

So that part where she wrote “Do you want to take responsibility for Cait’s mental health?”, that’s the part we’re going to talk about now.

She attached a shot of Tyler’s infamous comments about not wanting a “heifer for a wife,” which, yes, was obviously not his greatest moment.

And he responded with a lengthy statement of his own.

“I take full responsibility for what I say,” he began. “This conversation was constructively edited to appear more insensitive than it actually was. We have addressed this many times before, but I will explain it once again.”

Tyler said that during that conversation, Catelynn told him that “she doesn’t desire a ‘muscle headed tool’ because that’s not attractive to her & I responded.”

“We started a diet together,” he continued, “and asked to hold each other accountable to our commitments. We have been together for 12 years, so there isn’t too much we won’t say to each other.”

“Yes, I can be abrasive with my delivery. Yes, I can be ignorant with how my delivery impacts other people. Yes, I make mistakes. But I own up to them.”

But still, Tyler said, “to state that I am the cause of her mental health struggles is yet again, another very ignorant opinion.”

“Her mental health struggles derive from the chaotic and unstable upbringing we both endured. We are both actively working on those struggles.”

He finished by telling Noel that he understands she’s getting a lot of hate for her comments, “but attempting to play ‘tit for tat’ & scorekeeper with me is quite a pathetic approach to justify your insensitivity.”

It’s a pretty great statement, right?

And he’s definitely right — for anyone to try to say it’s his fault that Catelynn has depression is just completely ignorant and hurtful.

Good on him for standing up for himself, and for explaining that perhaps we don’t know the ins and outs of his marriage or Catelynn’s complex mental health problems.

It’s just sad that some people need that explanation.

Catelynn Lowell Update: How is She Doing in Rehab?

Catelynn Lowell has been back in rehab for about a month now — and good for her, right?

If you’ve been keeping up with this whole sad story, you know that she’s currently on her second rehab stay in the past three months, and her third in the past two years.

The first time she went to a treatment center, back in 2016, the issue was a pretty severe case of postpartum depression she’d been dealing with since giving birth to her daughter a year before.

The second time was in November, when she checked into the same treatment center after admitting that she’d been struggling with some suicidal thoughts.

She did check out early that time because she reportedly felt guilty at the prospect of being away from her little girl for the holidays.

But thankfully, she quickly realized that her mental health was more important than Christmas, and also that she simply wasn’t ready to be home yet.

So she went back, completed her six weeks of treatment, then went back home.

Then just a few weeks later, Catelynn made the tough decision to go back again for another six weeks, this time to work through some of her childhood trauma.

She also said she needed to get some issues with her medications sorted out.

Unlike last time, she’s been silent on social media, which is definitely for the best.

During her last stay, she was on Twitter a bit, even taking the time to make fun of Farrah Abraham, which didn’t seem like the best way for her to spend her time there.

While it’s good that she’s focusing so hard on her issues, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t wondering about how she’s been doing.

But don’t worry — Tyler’s got us covered!

Last weekend, Tyler said that he and Nova would be away all week at Catelynn’s facility, doing family therapy together — or at least he would be involved with the therapy, it wasn’t clear what exactly Nova would be getting into.

He predicted that it would be a tough week for everyone, and it’s easy to understand why.

But no matter how tough things were, Tyler’s love for Catelynn is just as strong as ever.

In one of his customary sappy, sweet Instagram posts, he shared this adorable photo of himself with Cate, and in the caption, he wrote that “Seeing this gorgeous woman & all the work she has done has given me such hope, a feeling of peace, and unconditional love that is hard to explain with words.”

“It was a very emotionally intense Family Week Program, but I know that our love & commitment towards each other will persevere through anything this life throws our way.”

“I’m so proud of you Babe,” he added, “and I can’t wait until you finally come home so I can just hug you & hold you for as long as I want.”

“You are worthy…You are strong…You are beautiful…You are loved! Thank you for not giving up on your life.”

He also threw in hashtags like “my babe,” “my wife,” and “soulmate,” just in case your heart wasn’t touched enough already.

A little while later, Tyler shared a couple more photos, this time explaining that “Marriage & relationships aren’t always sunshine & rainbows.”

“I believe love begins as a feeling, but evolves into a choice. A choice to sacrifice for that person, a choice of dedicated commitment to one another & understanding the selfless acts that are required from both to maintain serenity.”

How darling is that?

Cate shared one of the photos too, and she captioned hers “SO HAPPY I got to see you today!!! Until next time my love!”

It’s not much to go on, but she does sound happy, and in the photos she actually looks pretty radiant.

Here’s hoping that she’s getting the help she needs, and that soon she’ll be able to go home, happier and healthier than ever!

Tyler Baltierra: Catelynn Lowell Is Ruining My Diet!

Back in December, Catelynn Lowell left rehab after six weeks of intensive treatment for trauma and other emotional issues

Shortly thereafter, Lowell checked back in, after apparently deciding she wasn’t ready to return to her often hectic life.

It’s been reported that Catelynn recently suffered a miscarriage and has been struggling to cope with the crushing loss.

That still hasn’t been confirmed by the Baltierras, but whatever the case, we know that Lowell is prioritizing her mental and physical health these days after going through a very difficult time.

The recovery process has reportedly required Catelynn to make some major changes to her diet.

Sources say she’s excited about the prospect of turning a corner with regard to her health.

And one person who’s reportedly very happy about Catelynn’s new commitment to nutrition and weight loss is her husband, Tyler Baltierra.

As you may remember, Tyler was accused of fat-shaming Catelynn after he made some brutal comments about her weight on an episode of Teen Mom OG.

“That’s a big assquesadilla, it has a lot of chicken,” Baltierra said while Lowell was eating.

“It’s your body, you could do what you want. Obviously I don’t want no heifer for a wife!”

He later added:

“Would you want to be married to some big heifer?”

Sadly, it seems these days, he’s not being much more supportive.

Balterra has lost some weight in recent weeks, and he recently revealed that he did so despite – not because of – Catelynn.

Recently a Twitter follower asked Tyler if he’s concerned that losing weight so rapidly might cause Cateltynn to feel insecure and exacerbate her depression.

He basically responded that he couldn’t care less:

“The only one responsible for managing Cate’s emotions… is Cate. I have goals too that I refuse to put on the back burner,” Tyler tweeted.

Shortly thereafter, he accused her of sabotaging his diet:

“When I started my health kick Cate didn’t want to join me and kept ordering pizza and I had to eat my salad while staring at the beauty of that perfect looking, cheesy pepperoni greatness!” Baltierra tweeted.

Catelynn Lowell: Struggling to Cope with Miscarriage

Reports that Catelynn Lowell suffered a miscarriage are heartbreaking.

The Teen Mom OG star has reportedly sought guidance from rehab, but fans are now for the first time seeing her joy upon learning that she’s pregnant on the show itself. Quite the contrast from her current grim reality.

A new report reveals how Catelynn is coping … and that MTV’s crew has been instructed to walk on eggshells around her in this trying time.

On the most recent episode of Teen Mom OG, Catelynn Lowell revealed that she was pregnant.

She shared the news with Tyler Baltierra by putting Nova in a shirt that read “I’m going to be a big sister!”

Kind of a weird way for Tyler to find out what was, at the time, good news. But a cute reveal nonetheless.

Unfortunately, we already know that Catelynn Lowell suffered a miscarriage.

That’s one of the pitfalls of reality television being filmed months in advance — you see sad life events coming in the distance like an oncoming train, but you can’t get off of the tracks.

Catelynn has reportedly not taken this well.

Everyone grieves differently. Everyone processes negative emotions differently.

And no two people have the exact same response to the very personal tragedy of a miscarriage.

Considering the childhood trauma that Catelynn has endured, it’s very understandable that she faces additional challenges when it comes to grief and loss.

Grappling with suicidal thoughts, Catelynn Lowell checked herself into rehab for her own safety and well-being.

As a reality star, Catelynn has to relive her suffering as her story unfolds for fans and viewers on Teen Mom OG.

But there is still so much that fans don’t know. Obviously, many — though not all — know better than to directly ask Catelynn about her alleged miscarriage and about details of her stint in rehab.

Keep in mind that a lot of this is unconfirmed, but based upon reports of what people who work on the show were told.

Still, the story adds up. The pregnancy reports (now confirmed on the show), the confession of suicidal ideation, the rehab reports.

This is all so sad.

HollywoodLife reports on how Catelynn Lowell is coping and on the Teen Mom OG star’s current state of mind:

“Catelynn is not ready for any of this to be public right now so it’s complicated.”

Yes, it certainly is.

“It’s such a delicate subject there’s a lot of mystery around what exactly happened and the crew has been told not to ask her about it and not to mention it to anyone so there is a lot of unknowns.”

True. It’s good that the crew has been instructed to be sensitive at this time, but there has to be some unspoken awkwardness on set. Or so we imagine.

“Obviously Catelynn is having a very hard time coping right now so the priority is just getting her stable again.”

Absolutely. We all want to know, but Catelynn’s health and well-being come first.

Still, the source ends on a positive note.

“It’s a dark time, but she’s a fighter and she’ll make it through.”

Considering all that Catelynn has already been through, we’re inclined to agree.

Catelynn may have filmed rehab footage for Teen Mom OG. If so, we’ll all get front-row seats to an early and crucial stage of her recovery.

But grief and mourning aren’t something that you can complete during a stint at an Arizona facility.

Regardless of what makes it on camera, we expect that Catelynn will share her story with fans when she’s good and ready.
