Ivanka Trump: Sued Due to Kellyanne Conway Endorsement!
Remember when Kellyanne Conway abused her power and position by going on Fox News and telling Americans to buy Ivanka Trump’s products?
If your head exploded at the sight of a government official going full-QVC during a policy interview, you have our condolences.
Unfortunately, the rest of us are left to ponder the implications of such an abomination of democracy, and now some modern day John Adamses are taking the matter to court:
Modern Appealing Clothing (okay, so like, John Adams if he worked for that fashion company from Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead) is suing Ivanka over what it calls an “unfair advantage” in the marketplace.
The San Francisco-based retailer says Ivanka’s sales have been boosted by 700% due to her father’s influence as P–sy-Grabber-in-Chief.
(No word on how the company came by those figures.)
Conway’s endorsement came on the heels of Nordstrom’s decision to remove Ivanka’s clothing line from its stores.
The Trump administration (by which we mean Donald’s tweets) has argued that Ivanka’s business interests have actually suffered as a result of her father’s presidency.
However, MAC and the rest of the world is all like, “Nah, bruh.”
While Trump has proven to be an expert at losing money (USFL, we hardly knew ye.), no family has ever been made poorer by the presidency.
Jimmy Carter sold his peanut farm in 1976, but in the decades since, he’s become America’s favorite kindly grandfather, and ironically, he probably has a place reserved in heaven that’s decked out with more gold than Trump Tower.
Okay, almost as much gold.
Trump’s getting the best of both worlds, as he’s become the most powerful man in the world without making good on his promise to divest from his business interests.
Can you imagine being a foreign leader traveling to D.C. and not staying at the Trump Hotel?
You can just forget about a handshake after pulling that stunt, hombre.
The reality is, we’ll probably never know how much the Trump family has enriched itself at the expense of the American people.
If only there were some sort of document that revealed how much individuals and corporations earned in a year, as well as how much they paid in taxes.
Sigh. Maybe someday …

Kellyanne Conway SLAMMED for Inappropriate Oval Office Behavior
Kellyanne Conway has done it again.
No, the White House spokesperson didn’t define feminism this time as the act of hating on men and loving abortions.
She didn’t break the law by shilling for Ivanka Trump’s clothing line, either.
But that doesn’t mean Conway avoided the wrath of folks on social media this week, not after an act she pulled while hanging out inside the Oval Office.
The controversial political figure was photographed yesterday kneeling on an Oval Office couch and browsing her phone while President Donald Trump spoke with leaders of historically black colleges and universities.
It’s unusual to see anyone acting this relaxed and casual in the Oval Office.
But doing so while surrounded by such figures sparked a new round of backlash against Conway on Twitter.
First, take a look at the main photo that has gotten Conway in trouble below:
As for the response?
Celebrities such as Alyssa Milano, Keith Olbermann and Vanessa Carlton tweeted the photo of Conway on their accounts… along with a few harsh words of criticism.
“Get your f–king feet off the furniture, @KellyannePolls. This isn’t your home,” Olbermann wrote, for example.
Others defended Conway, however, citing a few photos of Barack Obama from back in the day, with his feet up on the desk in the same Oval Office.
“I’ll take shoes on a couch over this any day,” Tweeted @amylutz4.
Others, meanwhile, were simply curious as to what exactly Conway was doing on her phone.
To wit:
Come on. That’s pretty hilarious, no matter which side of the aisle you sit on.
Conway has been a polarizing individual ever since she signed on to run Trump’s campaign last year.
Often sent out to speak to the press on The Donald’s behalf, Conway is an expert at navigating around facts and spouting general nonsense about her boss’s agenda.
She is also the person who coined the term “alternative facts.”
We’d say there’s almost no coming back from something such as that…
… but we also said Hillary Clinton would soundly defeat Trump in the Presidential Election.
So what the heck do we know?
She’ll probably run for President in 2024.
And then we shudder to think how she’ll act in the Oval Office.

Kellyanne Conway: Feminists are Man Haters and Abortion Lovers!
Kellyanne Conway is back to doing what Kellyanne Conway does best: letting words fall out of her mouth with little to no thought as to what they actually mean.

This time, we"re talking about a little sit-down interview Kellyanne did yesterday morning at CPAC.
An interview in which she discussed her absolute hatred for feminism.
See, Kellyanne refuses to call herself a feminist, and that"s fine, obviously. She can call herself whatever she wants, she can believe whatever she wants — this is America and all that.
But the weird thing about her stance is the way she doesn"t seem to understand anything about feminism.
In the interview, she says that she doesn"t call herself a feminist because feminism as a movement is "very anti-male" and "certainly very pro-abortion."
She also made a confusing statement about how protests like last month"s Women"s March are about women who "just have a problem with women in power."
So according to Kellyane, feminists hate men, love abortions — they aren"t pro-choice, they specifically love abortions — and even though many of them supported Hillary Clinton"s campaign, they take issue with women in power.
Sure.
Bizarrely enough, she then went on to advise women to demand equal pay in the workplace — but sure, to hell with feminism, right?

Matt Lauer to Kellyanne Conway: WTH Are You Talking About?
Late Monday night, General Michael Flynn resigned his post as National Security Advisor after reports confirmed that he had been in touch with Russian officials during the Donald Trump administration"s transition to the Oval Office.
He told these officials that President Trump would likely lift the sanctions imposed on Russia by Barack Obama…
… and then he lied to Vice President Mike Pence (among others) about these discussions.
As part of The Washington Post story that broke this troubling news, we learned that the Justice Department warned President Trump"s administration last month that Flynn misled Pence about his conversation with the Russian ambassador to the United States.
The Justice Department therefore concluded, in its briefing of President Trump, that Flynn could be susceptible to blackmail by Russia.
And yet Trump did not fire Flynn.
The General resigned mere hours after advisor Kellyanne Conway told reporters that he had the "full confidence" of the President.
Yes, the same President who was aware that Flynn had spoken to Russia and presumably lied about this contact to the Vice President a few weeks ago.
So… either Flynn never lied and the administration was aware all along of Flynn"s traitorous actions.
Or Flynn did lie, did talk to Russia illegally and Trump knew all about it – and didn"t care.
There are no other alternatives here.
Conway suggested that Flynn"s resignation was his own decision even though the administration knew a month ago that he misled them.
"You’re saying that"s the straw that broke the camel’s back, but the White House knew about that last month when the Justice Department warned the White House that [Flynn] had not been completely honest," Lauer said, adding:
"Kellyanne, that makes no sense!
"Last month the Justice Department warned the White House that General Flynn had misled them! And that as a result he was vulnerable to blackmail and at that moment he still had the complete trust of the president?"
It"s an amazing exchange, and a very awkward exchange.
