Donald Trump Attacks Mika Brzezinski: Celebrities React
Donald Trump is still taking to Twitter to cyber bully, and yes, it"s pretty ironic considering Melania Trump has been vocal about her plea to end cyber bullying.
Trump"s latest target is Mika Brzezinski, and he seems to think she and her MSNBC colleagues unfairly criticize him at every turn.
So, Trump felt the need to send two tweets at Mika that were not exactly friendly. Are they ever with Donald Trump?
"I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don"t watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year"s Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!"
As expected, the celebrity world was not impressed with Trump"s comments and reacted in anger. We"ve rounded up some of the best reactions for you below.
1. John Legend
“I see Melania’s campaign to end cyber bullying is off to a slow start,” Legend began, adding: “America elected a very shitty person to be President.”
2. Chrissy Teigen
Teigen laid into Trump with a scathing tweet. “You are a national embarrassment. It’s like you have no idea how to even fake being a normal human being. You are the proud type of insane.”
3. Jesse Tyler Ferguson
“My faith in this country forces me to believe that even most of @realDonaldTrump’s supporters think his tweets this morning are in bad taste. He is distracted from doing his job as president but the citizens he works for must remain focus & activated. We have to be bigger than that.”
4. Star Jones
Always one to take an opportunity to trash Trump, Star tweeted,”I’ve heard of “SunDowning” effects of Alzheimer’s on folk but I swear ya’lls president is affected any time of the day or night. #pettyfool”
5. Rosie O’Donnell
Rosie O’Donnell has had beef with Trump for a long time, so it was a given that she would chime in. She said, “babyman @realDonaldTrump its not just joe and mika – the world hates u – and jail awaits u – and u suck at being human.”

Mika Brzezinski: Why Did She Earn Donald Trump"s Wrath?
It takes very little to become the object of Donald Trump’s ire.
Like, VERY little.
Like, the size of Donald Trump’s hands little.
An endless array of politicians, celebrities and random people on Twitter have discovered just how petty the President is over the last several months – but today he turned his negative attention toward Mika Brzezinski.
The co-host of Morning Joe on MSNBC was bullied and appearance-shamed by Trump, who jumped on social media very early Thursday and wrote the following:
“I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore)…
“Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came…..to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year’s Eve, and insisted on joining me.
“She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!”
Yes, Trump chose once again to go after a woman for how much she was allegedly bleeding.
You can really only have two reactions to these Tweets:
1. LOL at Trump claiming he doesn’t “watch” Morning Joe” anymore, when we all know he hit pause on his TiVo just to send these messages.
2. WTH? How is this person our President?
Making matters even more forehead-slapping incredible, Republicans have come out in support of Trump.
Through a spokesperson, the President’s wife – who has claimed (with a straight face!) that cyberbullying is the main issue she wishes to eliminate on as First Lady – even gave Trump’s outburst her blessing.
“As the First Lady has stated publicly in the past, when her husband gets attacked, he will punch back 10 times harder,” this spokesperson said on behalf of Melania.
This raises the question:
How did Mika Brzezinski attack Trump? What could she possibly have said to elicit this sort of reaction from the most powerful man on the planet?
We’re guessing it stems from a Morning Joe segment today in which Brzezinski said Trump was “destroying the country.”
She also referenced the fake Time Magazine cover that Trump has plastered across many of his properties and said:
“Nothing makes a man feel better than making a fake cover of a magazine about himself lying every day and destroying the country.”
This really is true, by the way: Donald Trump has decorated various buildings he owns with a phony Time Magazine cover that hypes The Apprentice as a “smash.”
Brzezinski later joked that Trump was covering his hands on the fake Time cover “because they’re teensy.”
What’s amazing is that we’re positive it was this exact quip that really set Trump off.
Nothing bothers the Commander-in-Chief more than any mention of his hands being anything less than meaty and enormous. We’re not even making a joke here.
The above comments and segment aired at 8:11 a.m. EST.
Eight minutes later, Dan Scavino, Trump’s social media director, tweeted:
“#DumbAsARockMika and lover #JealousJoe are lost, confused & saddened since @POTUS @realDonaldTrump stopped returning their calls! Unhinged.”
Trump then unleashed his Tweets a half hour after this mature statement was issued.
Brzezinski responded to the flap on Thursday by Tweeting a photo of a box of Cheerios with the words “Made For Little Hands” on it.
We have no idea what to even say at this point.
This is really where we are as a nation.
An MSNBC representative told Business Insider that “it’s a sad day for America when the president spends his time bullying, lying, and spewing petty personal attacks instead of doing his job.”
And Senator Lindsey Graham, who still plans on voting for Trump’s proposed disaster of a health care bill, added the following:
“Mr. President, your tweet was beneath the office and represents what is wrong with American politics, not the greatness of America.”

Donald Trump Slams Mika Brzezinski, Sparks Bizarre Twitter Feud
Just about every day since he became president, Donald Trump has started his morning by taking to Twitter.
Trump’s messages to his nearly 33 million followers are frequently hostile and confusing, but the president may have topped himself with today’s shocking and seemingly unporvoked attack on Morning Joe host Mika Brzezinski.
With no context provided, Trump launched a tirade against Brzezinski and her co-host, Joe Scarborough, claiming that the MSNBC personalities unfairly criticize him on air as a result of a social grievance:
“I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore),” Trump tweeted.
“Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came…..to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year’s Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!”
What Brzezinski’s possible plastic surgery procedure has to do with Morning Joe’s coverage of the Trump presidency is anyone’s guess, but the baffling nature of the tweet hasn’t stopped … Sarah Huckabee Sanders from defending the president’s actions.
Sources who have spoken to Sanders report that she’s arguing the tweet was part of Trump’s effort “to push back” and “fight fire with fire,” adding that the president “won’t be bullied by liberal media.”
For her part, Brzezinski responded with a reference to Trump’s most famous anatomical shortcoming:
The 50-year-old political commentator posted the above photo sans caption … and obviously, this is a case in which no explanation is necessary.
But while Brzezinski effectively clapped back at the president without using words, many others have come to her defense with scathing condemnations of Trump’s appalling tweet.
“It’s a sad day for America when the president spends his time bullying, lying and spewing petty personal attacks instead of doing his job,” reads a statement issued by MSNBC.
“Mr. President, your tweet was beneath the office and represents what is wrong with American politics, not the greatness of America,” tweeted Senator Lindsey Graham.
Speaking through her press secretary, Melania Trump defended her husband with an argument similar to Sanders’, claiming that the president is under constant attack and is merely responding in kind:
“As the First Lady has stated publicly in the past, when her husband gets attacked, he will punch back 10 times harder,” Stephanie Grisham stated on the first lady’s behalf.
This is far from the first time that Trump’s Twitter account has been a source of controversy, but such a brazen personal attack on a media personality from a sitting president is thoroughly unprecedented.
Trump has yet to personally respond to the uproar over his latest insult.

Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski: More Than Just Co-Workers???
It"s like watching the romance unfold between Ron Burgundy and Veronica Corningston, live on-air.
Morning Joe"s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are reportedly dating, according to Page Six.
This morning, the co-anchors were very coy, smiling as though they acknowledged the story, without actually saying anything.
"Can I get to the lead stories now?" Brzezinksi said as Scarborough was wrapping up a market report.
"There are a lot of lead stories," Scarborough said coyly, smiling as he sipped his chocolate protein shake.
"I will finish your sentence and start with politics," Brzezinski said, glossing over any teasing that may or may not have existed during the segment.
“Everybody at 30 Rock knows they are a couple …," a source told Page Six.
"They are constantly together, they arrive and leave events together, even on weekends. They are each other’s publicists and finish each other’s sentences.
"It’s the worst-kept secret in TV.”
It"s believed that they will go public with their relationship at some point in the near future.
Page Six reported that Brzezinski recently settled a divorce with her husband, WABC reporter James Hoffer after 23 years of marriage. They have two daughters together.
“Mika’s divorce was finalized in the past year," an MSNBC spokesperson from the network told Page Six.
"She’s really grateful that it was done amicably and in private. This has, of course, been a painful time for her family. So right now she is focused on her two teenage daughters, and on continuing to heal.”
Scarborough divorced his wife back in 2013.
Neither he nor Brzezinski have made further comments regarding the story. The fact that her divorce wasn"t public knowledge until now prompted the gossip page to delve into what might be a full-fledged relationship.
