Madonna to Fashion Critics: You"re Sexist! And Ageist!

According to many critics, Madonna was among the worst dressed celebrities at the MET Gala in New York City on Monday night.

The Hollywood Gossip was among those who labeled The Material Girl as such (see our rundown below) after she walked the red carpet in a VERY revealing black lace ensemble by Riccardo Tisci.

The singer’s buttocks and breasts were pretty much on full display.

But this is Madonna.

This is one of the most outspoken celebrities of modern times, so she didn’t exactly take the criticism lightly.

She fired back in full force, in fact.

Via a long, detailed and harshly worded Instagram post, the legendary artist said her MET Gala selection was about far more than just her personal fashion preferences.

“We have fought and continue to fight for civil rights and gay rights around the world. When it comes to Women’s rights we are still in the dark ages,” Madonna wrote as a caption to the photo above.

“My dress at the Met Ball was a political statement as well as a fashion statement.”

And just what was that political statement?

“The fact that people actually believe a woman is not allowed to express her sexuality and be adventurous past a certain age is proof that we still live in an age-ist and sexist society.

“I have never thought in a limited way and I’m not going to start. We cannot effect change unless we are willing to take risks By being fearless and By taking the road leas traveled by.

“Thats how we change history.”

Here is a look at both the front and the back of Madonna’s controversial dress.

You tell us if you agree she’s making a profound political statement:

It shouldn’t exactly come as a shock to anyone that Madonna would wear a risque outfit, especially to this sort of event.

But here is how she concluded her Instagram post:

If you have a problem with the way I dress it is simply a reflection of your prejudice. I’m not afraid to pave the way for all the girls behind me As Nina Simone once said, the definition of freedom is being fearless. I remain Unapologetic and a Rebel in this life and all the others.

Jessa Duggar: Slammed By Parenting Critics For Latest Instagram Photo

Back in February, Jessa Duggar was criticized for posting a photo of her son Spurgeon in a diaper online. Several commenters stated that they felt the pic was disrespectful of the infant’s “modesty,” thus setting off a debate on social media.

Now, Jessa is once again taking heat for a photo of little Spurgeon, but this time, for a very different reason:

The above photo of Spurgeon and his father, Ben Seewald, sitting in an Arkansas coffee shop may seem harmless enough, but some of Jessa’s Instagram followers have expressed their misgivings about what they feel is evidence of her shoddy parenting.

The problem, it seems, is that Spurgeon is lying in his car seat – a safety hazard to which Jessa has now been alerted dozens of times.

She posted the photo for her 1.8 million followers last week with a caption reading, “Coffee shop with my guys,” but many fans weren’t appreciative of the candid glimpse into the new parents’ daily life.

Many took to the comments section to point out that toddlers sleeping in car seats face an increased risk of choking due to the possibility of becoming entangled in the seat’s straps.

“Not supposed to leave a child strapped in their car seat, too many babies have died that way,” wrote one follower.

“It’s when a child is left in a car seat for an extended period of time such as during a nap and their airway becomes compromised when their chin is tucked to their chest,” another pointed out.

Thankfully, many others pointed out that the danger comes when babies are left in car seats unattended, and Spurgeon – who will be five months old this week – clearly had both parents at the ready.

Leah Messer Responds to Critics: See? I DO Feed My Kids!

Monday’s Teen Mom 2 season premiere has generated a tremendous amount of controversy due to a scene involving what many believe to be a very questionable parenting decision on the part of the show’s most oft-criticized cast member, Leah Messer.

The episode shows Leah appearing to deny her daughters breakfast as she rushes them off to school.

During the drive, the girls complain of being hungry and cold, and Leah is shown arguing with them and texting while driving.

Leah took to Twitter to respond to claims that she’s neglecting her daughters, but she only made the problem worse by referring to one of her twin girls as a “drama queen.”

Given that she recently lost custody of her twins due in part to her inability to get them to school on time, it’s surprising that Leah would be so flippant about a scene that outraged so many viewers.

Perhaps that’s why today she posted a photo of her youngest, Addie, enjoying a morning meal:

“Mommas baby wanted pancake and sausage on a stick, yogurt, and strawberries for breakfast!” Messer captioned the photo above. “She is so happy.”

To her credit, she didn’t make her kids some wildly elaborate breakfast to overcompensate, by the pic begs the question: if her kids are content with fruit, yogurt and microwaved breakfast foods, why can’t she feed them before school?

Leah Messer on Parenting Critics: They Hurt My Feelings!

Monday night’s season premiere of Teen Mom 2 featured a scene that’s drawn a lot of attention to Leah Messer for all the wrong reasons.

The episode shows Leah apparently denying her daughters breakfast as she rushes them off to school.

In addition to claims that Messer is neglecting her daughters by failing to properly feed and clothe them (6-year-old Grace complained that she was cold on the drive in, and blamed Leah for not dressing the girls for the weather.), Teen Mom fans have also fired off harsh tweets at Leah for texting while driving with her kids in the car.

Leah’s response has drawn almost as much criticism as her actions, as she responded to allegations that she’s unfit parent by tweeting that “Grace was being a drama queen.”

Now, Leah is elaborating on her feelings about those on social media who agree with her baby daddies about her lack of parenting skills.

“It does hurt my feelings,” she told a fan. “My girls scream to be with me because I am a GREAT MOM!”

Well, we know from Monday’s episode that they certainly do scream. We’re just not sure if it’s for the reason Leah thinks.

Leah has complained in the past that the show is edited in such a way that it makes her look like a worse mom than she is.

Of course, Corey Simms insists the opposite is true, claiming Teen Mom producers helped Leah hide her drug addiction.

So maybe the truth is somewhere in between, and the series is actually more honest than most reality shows.

Lady Gaga Has a Message for Kesha Critics

Lady Gaga has traded in her her Poker Face for an angry one.

The singer took to Instagram this week in order to fire back at critics (we’re looking at you, Wendy Williams!) who have shamed Kesha for coming out with allegations of sexual assault against music producer Dr. Luke.

This became a national issue last week after Kesha took Dr. Luke to court in an attempt to void her recording contract.

She has accused the producer of sexual and emotional abuse over a 10-year period, claiming Dr. Luke plied her with drugs and alcohol in order to take advantage of her weakened, hazy state.

When a judge ruled against Kesha’s request, the singer broke down in court.

Since then, many celebrities have shown public support for Kesha (Taylor Swift actually donated $ 250,000 to her fellow artist), but some critics still remain.

As it sadly the case in many instances of sexual assault, they have outwardly questioned Kesha and her motives and her story and Lady Gaga can’t handle it any longer.

“This is the most upsetting part for me,” Gaga wrote as a caption to the photo above.

“That the very reason women don’t speak up for years is the fear no one will believe them of their abuser has threatened their life of their loved ones/livelihood in order to keep their victim quiet and under their control.

“What happened to Kesha has happened to many female artists including myself and it will affect her for the rest of her life.”

It’s true.

As noted below, Lady Gaga is one of several celebrities who have been the victims of a sexual assault.

Lady Gaga added the hashtag “#stopvictimshaming” to the image featured here and later Snapchatted a video of herself giving Kesha a kiss.

Dr. Luke has denied all allegations of rape, while a lawyer for Sony has said the following:

“Sony has made it possible for Kesha to record without any connection, involvement or interaction with Luke whatsoever, but Sony is not in a position to terminate the contractual relationship between Luke and Kesha.

“Sony is doing everything it can to support the artist in these circumstances, but is legally unable to terminate the contract to which it is not a party.”

Kanye West to White Music Critics: SHUT UP!

Kanye West has taken a break from Tweeting about his $ 53 million debt in order to send a message to white people everywhere.

And it goes something like this:

SHUT THE EFF UP ABOUT MY MUSIC! YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT!

The artist finally released his latest album over the weekend, “The Life of Pablo,” with most music critics out there responding to it in a favorable manner.

Pitchfork, for example, gave the record a 9 out of 10, which was the best score it has handed out to an album in nearly six months.

But it wasn’t a perfect score. And that’s all Kanye cares about.

“Pitchfork, the album is a 30 out of 10,” Kanye hilariously wrote in response, before taking aim at this and many other outlets out there by Tweeting:

“To Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, New York Times, and any other white publication. Please do not comment on black music anymore.”

Before you claim that Kanye West hates white people, let’s remember that wife Kim Kardashian is white.

Moreover, the rapper added on Twitter:

“I love love love white people but you don’t understand what it means to be the great grandson of ex slaves and make it this far.”

We suppose this is technically, literally true.

West, of course, has gone around making some rather extreme remarks on Twitter in promotion of his new album.

Does he really need mental counseling as a result? Or does the world need to just sit back, chill and enjoy these #PeakKanye moments?

Coco Austin SLAMS Critics on Twitter: I Take Care of My Baby!!

It’s hardly been three weeks since Coco Austin gave birth to daughter Chanel Nicole, and the controversy has already begun.  And now that Coco is posting pictures of her baby and post-baby body, the hate mail is rolling in.

Coco’s social media followers have been criticizing her, claiming that she isn’t caring for her new baby.  Her critics even claimed that by posting pictures of little Chanel on social media Coco is exploiting her daughter for fame.

However, the new mama isn’t taking sh*t from anyone.  And Coco took to Twitter in an effort to set the record straight:  “Some comments really frustrate me at times…some assume since u have money and live in a ‘celebrity world’ that you don’t do s—t!.”

She continued, “Let me add, I don’t have nannies or babysitters. I’ve been 100% hands on w/ Chanel. I also clean my own house & do my own laundry #100%wife.”

The talk show host and former reality star also explained that she isn’t only the Coco fans know from television. “I’m totally serious when I say I love being a wife. I like the role I play…I can be crazy Coco at times but I have a good heart,” she wrote.

In recent post on her E! News pregnancy blog, Coco disclosed a few details about her relationship with rapper and actor Ice-T.

She explained that she and her husband were supportive and close to each other as they awaited the arrival of their baby. The 36-year-old mom also said that they approached the pregnancy as a team, attending appointments and viewing the ultrasound together.

Between the pregnancy and the arrival of their baby, it appears that Coco and Ice-T are close than ever.  And they are still making it a priority to spend quality time together.

According to Coco, haters are gonna hate, but her life is good!

“I’m proud that I’m finally a mama,” she replied to one follower who criticized her for “exploiting” her newborn. “Does she not look happy?”

Selena Gomez Curses Off Critics: I Don"t Effin Lip Sync!

Selena Gomez looked downright stunning while performing on Tuesday night at the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show;

This cannot be denied or debated.

But some folks in the social media universe apparently can find something to complain about in regard to Selena’s routine, which included renditions of two hits off her new album.

After Victoria’s Secret shared a couple images from Selena’s sexy performance on its Instagram account, comments sprung up accusing the artist of lip syncing.

And you can say whatever you want about Gomez’s love life… you can make whatever cracks you see fit about her inability to move on from Justin Bieber… but you do NOT accuse a singer of lip syncing.

There really is no greater insult.

Which is why Gomez jumped on her own Instagram account to reply to this allegation, writing one declarative statement in response:

Yes I f—– sing live.

Here. Take a look at Selena’s performance and decide whether or not she’s telling the truth for yourself:

The former Disney star, who recently admitted that she underwent chemotherapy to treat Lupus, has been open in recent months about online shaming while promoting her new album “Revival.”

She simply isn’t going to take it any longer.

“You have to understand that I dealt with a lot of body shaming this year, and I’ve never experienced that before,” she said during a radio interview on L.A.’s Power 106 in September.

“I don’t care about that stuff, but I did start gaining weight and I didn’t really mind it. I enjoyed it.”

Gabourey Sidibe Slams Critics of Empire Sex Scene

Gabourey Sidibe has once again totally and completely owned her haters.

Those who watch Empire online may have been a bit taken aback last Wednesday night when Sidibe’s character, Becky Williams, had sex on a hotel rooftop Mo McRoe’s MC J Poppa.

For what reason?

Simply because Sidibe weighs a lot more than the average television or movie actress.

As might have been unfortunately expected, the Oscar nominee received a lot of backlash for the racy scene, but she isn’t letting it get her down.

She’s far too busy and far too self-confident to allow that to happen.

“I, a plus sized, dark-skinned woman, had a love scene on primetime television,” Sidibe blogged for Entertainment Weekly.

She then honed in on the haters and added:

“I keep hearing that people are ‘hating’ on it. I’m not sure how anyone could hate on love but that’s okay.

“You may have your memes. Honestly, I’m at work too busy to check Twitter anyway. #Booked.”

Point, set, match… Gabourey Sidibe!

“I was really happy to be part of something that’s never been seen on primetime television before,” the actress added to People.

“And you don’t notice it because you don’t have to notice it, but there’s never been someone of my skin color, my size, with somebody else of the same skin color in a love scene on primetime television…

“I hope there’s more to come.”

Chrissy Teigen: SLAMS Critics in Twitter Rant

Chrissy Teigen doesn’t want to hear your sh*t.  Especially when it comes to cereal.

Chrissy Teigen posted a baby bump pic recently, which was met with a pleasant response.  But when the model posted a pic of what she is feeding her baby, her social media followers weren’t quite so pleased.

The co-host of FabLife shared a photo on Instagram of her regular nightly cravings.  The picture featured Teigen holding up a bowl of Fruity Pebbles and Capt’N Crunch.

“Cap’N Pebble cravings, nightly,” the 29-year-old captioned the photo.

In what came as a surprise to Teigen, Instgram users began attacking her with “unsolicited” prenatal and dietary advice.

The users shamed the expecting mother for eating processed and dyed food that, according to one user, are “beyond bad for baby.” Another Instagram follower told Teigen, “Don’t feed your baby that dyed crap.”

But Teigen was quick to defend herself.  She took to Twitter and slammed her critics for their unwanted pregnancy advice.

“If you wanna give me unsolicited baby advice on the damn cereal I eat/what I wear u better unlock your profile so I can see your perfection,” Teigen snapped back on Twitter.

“Yes I am living off dyed food. Tuna too!! Gonna try to dye my tuna actually. Then have an icy, dyed vodka soda and that’s just lunch.”

Chrissy is pregnant with her first child with husband John Legend.

Critics Scoff at Donald Trump Push-Ups, Backflip

There was plenty to comment on surrounding the Republican Debate on Wednesday, October 28.

Like Donald Trump bragging about how he shortened the debate from three hours to two hours. Or Marco Rubio positively owning Jeb Bush.

But in order to comment on the debate, it helps to have seen the debate.

And it really helps to wait until the debate airs before offering up any kind of critique.

Jimmy Kimmel Live, however, sent a correspondent out to Hollywood Boulevard for the latest edition of “Lie Witness News” and asked folks to analyze the debate. Hours prior to it taking place.

Despite this fact, many people have many negative things to say about Trump, with one man saying the real estate mogul acted too "boisterous" on stage.

When the interviewer asked a woman what she thought of the Donald “doing pushups instead of a closing argument,” she said it was “horrible” and “over the top.”

It definitely says something about Trump that someone can believe this actually happened, doesn"t it?

What about that (non-existent) “viral clip where Trump did a back flip and said, ‘This is what I’m gonna do to Obama care?"

“I laughed, it was weird," replied a pedestrian.

Another man, meanwhile, was a fan of Trump"s bangs… which, again, were not actually present on the debate stage.

A pair of Australian tourists even claimed to have been in their hotel room watching the debate with a group of friends. We wonder how they pulled that one off.

Did they bring a time machine with them?!?

Critics respond to republican debate without having seen the rep

Ashley Benson Dresses as Cecil the Lion, Hears It from Critics

A Pretty Little Liar has made a pretty major costume faux pas.

Ashley Benson took to Instagram on Tuesday in order to give followers an early look at her Halloween outfit, sharing the following image and explaining her look thusly:

“Help! Can’t decide on my Halloween costume this year! What do you guys think of this cecil the lion costume? @yandy #thanksyandy #halloweencostume.”

Cecil the Lion, of course, was a protected animal in Africa who unfortunately made headlines this summer after a dentist from Minnesota shot and killed him illegally.

Not long afterward, online stores started to sell Cecil the Lion costumes, offending many who don’t think it’s appropriate to use an innocent creature’s murder as some kind of holiday prop.

So you can imagine the backlash Benson received upon posting this photo.

The criticism was so extreme and immediate, in fact, that the young actress quickly jumped online and changed her wording to simply read:

“What do you guys think of this lion costume?”

But at least follower wasn’t gonna allow Benson to get away with this edit, shooting back at her:

“you called it ‘Cecil the Lion!’ #clueless #smh #insensitive,” while another added:

”It’s a shame lions can’t wear dead ignorant humans as costumes. Totally unaware douche.”

OUCH!

At least Benson has company in the controversial costume game, as you can see above.

To see the star dressed in far less scandalous attire, follow this link to watch Pretty Little Liars online.

Jason Pierre Paul -- Thumbs Nose At Critics ... I Can Still Lift Weights!

Z STAFF

7-fingered bench press? No problem.

After critics said Jason Pierre Paul‘s disfigured hand would be a huge hurdle when it comes to weight training, the NY Giants star hit the gym … to prove he can still lift weights, despite missing digits.

JPP busted out a set of bench presses — with a towel in his right hand to stabilize the bar.

It’s the second time Jason’s posted training footage — in an effort to prove he can still be effective in the NFL after seriously damaging his hand in a fireworks accident
