Aleppo Residents Record Mass Slaughter in Real Time, Tweet Goodbye

With the Syrian army closing in this week on rebel-held areas in Aleppo, thousands of civilians in this war-torn city have been trapped in small pockets of opposition territory.

By some estimates, 50,000 residents are essentially waiting to either be killed or taken hostage, sitting helplessly in a one-square mile radius of town.

A UN spokesman has referred to the horrific situation as a “complete meltdown of humanity.”

Earlier this month, a seven-year old girl named Bana Alabed made global headlines when she posted multiple messages on social media that implied she and her mother were about to be captured.

Alabed and her mom, Fatemah – who have been tweeting the horrors from East Aleppo since September – appear to have avoided said capture…

… but they now fear as if their days on Earth are numbered.

Tweeted Fatemah on Monday:

She has since written the following, posted about seven hours ago:

“Dear world, there’s intense bombing right now. Why are you silent? Why? Why? Why? Fear is killing me & my kids.”

Here is a photo of Bana Alabed:

Fatemah is far from the only Aleppo resident recording this mass slaughter in real time.

As events continue to unfold in the area and the death toll continues to mount, those trapped in the city are screaming at the world over social media, saying goodbye forever; wondering why no one is helping them; or both.

“This may be my last video. More than 50,000 civilians who rebelled against the dictator [Syrian President Bashar] al-Assad are threatened with field executions or are dying under bombing,” Lina Shamy, an activist in eastern Aleppo, said in a video shared on Twitter.

Calls for a ceasefire by the United Nations have been ignored by Syria and Russia, who is aiding the government with an intensive air campaign.

Officials from these nations have vowed to continue the offensive until the rebels surrender or die.

Elsewhere, a teacher and father (who tweets under the handle @Mr.Alhamdo) wrote on Tuesday afternoon of his simple desire to see his young daughter taste a banana for the first time.

He now doubts this will ever happen.

“I just wanted to make my daughter taste the banana,” he Tweeted. “She likes such food. She hasn’t tasted it yet. I might not be able to do that.”

There are no words to express how we feel about the situation in Aleppo.

It’s heartbreaking. It’s surreal. It’s the very worst of humanity.

We can only offer our thoughts and prayers to all involved.

Candace Cameron Bure Says Goodbye to The View

Here’s a free idea for producers at The View:

Get rid of all doors leading out to the stage and install a turnstyle instead.

This would seem to be more appropriate, considering the constant cast changes on this morning talk show.

Just over a month after Raven-Symone announced her departure as a full-time panelist, Candace Cameron Bure has gone ahead and done the same.

Yup, it’s time for yet another farewell, viewers.

A mother of three who has been with The View for fewer than two seasons, the actress was one of the few religious and conservative voices on the series.

She referred to her leaving as a “little bittersweet” this morning when informing the audience of why she was parting ways with the program.

“It wasn’t an easy decision,” Bure explained, going into further detail as follows:

“Before I started The View, I had already had my commitments to Fuller House and my work with the Hallmark Channel…Because of the success of those, my commitments have become even greater with those shows.”

Bure was named a co-host of The View in 2015… while simultaneously filming her spinoff sitcom for Netflix.

Her View contract was renewed for Season 20 this year, yet Fuller House was also picked up for a second season. And it’s just become too much for the star to juggle.

In addition to a a serious work load, Bure also attributed her departure to having to travel between both coasts on a regular basis.

She’s not complaining. She has a great life. But that kind of thing takes its toll.

“The commute of going west coast to east coast every single week for me has been tough on me and hard for my family as well,” she said on air.

“I want to make sure that I am able to spend as much time with my children.”

So here we go again.

There’s now a spot open on The View panel once more.

Bure went on this morning to express her gratitude to the women at the helm of the team.

“I thank everybody – Whoopi [Goldberg], Joy [Behar]…for welcoming me to this table. I’ve learned so much from you and I’m so grateful for you.

“I tried to be superwoman, but I’m going to not try anymore.”

Executive Producer Candi Carter said the following via statement:

On behalf of everyone at ‘The View,’ it’s been a pleasure working with Candace, a devoted mother, talented actress, and passionate co-host who never hesitated to speak her mind.

We are thrilled for her success with ‘Fuller House’ and her Hallmark movies.

She will always be a part of ‘The View’ family and we will gladly welcome her back to the show to support her with all of her endeavors.

Kim Kardashian: Goodbye, Hollywood!

Sheryl Crow left Las Vegas, so why can’t Kim Kardashian leave Los Angeles?

In a new report from Life & Style, it was revealed that Kim’s fed up with the Hollywood lifestyle, and is packing her s–t and moving the hell out of L.A.

The source at the magazine revealed, “The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has told friends that, in the wake of the terrifying attack, she’s changing her entire life.”

“The biggest step: Kim has decided to sell her Calabasas mansion and move into a gated community in sleepy Newport Beach, 70 miles away.”

The insider continued, “Kim has been a nervous wreck and is petrified that thieves are going to break into her home.”

“She’s been complaining that L.A. is full of ‘crazies’ and the only way she’ll be able to keep her family safe is to leave the city and keep a low profile.”

Somehow we doubt that even if Kim does this, that it’ll be permanent.

Kim would go bankrupt in a year, with the way that she spends, spends, spends.

“Kim sees Orange County as the perfect place to start over,” the source continued.

“Her friends who live there boast about the safety and low crime rates, and the shopping is incredible.”

Ugh, of course it is.

They also claimed that Kim “won’t have to worry about paparazzi watching her every move,” which would “give her kids a chance at a normal life.”

Perhaps Kim might consider actually, you know, just moving away from the spotlight altogether.

That would definitely give her kids an edge over those being raised under the glare of the magnifying glass.

It does sound, however, that Kim’s not the only one sick of Hollywood.

As you heard, Beyoncé reportedly hates Kardashian, and it was reported that the “friendship” was as fake as … well, as Hollywood itself.

“Beyoncé has never genuinely liked Kim,” the insider said.

“She’s mostly tolerated her because of their husbands’ friendship and mutual friends like Jennifer Lopez.”

“She is always a little icy to Kim,” the source continued.

“The last time they hung out, the minute Beyoncé could leave the conversation, she did.”

“They always have lots of awkward pauses,” the insider concluded.

Color us seriously … unsurprised.

Michael Weatherly Exits NCIS: How Did Tony Say Goodbye?

Special Agent Tony DiNozzo has left the building.

Going into NCIS Season 13 Episode 24, fans of television’s highest-rated series know that Michael Weatherly would be saying goodbye.

They just had no idea how Tony would be written out.

No way he’d be killed off, right?

Right. But that doesn’t mean death didn’t play a key role on the NCIS Season 13 finale.

The major event that led to Tony’s departure was the discovery that Ziva was killed in a bombing at her farmhouse in Israel.

“Life rarely ends the way we imagine,” Ducky said as the rest of the NCIS team mourned their former colleague back at the office.

From there, though, Tony was in for another surprise: Ziva had a daughter named Tali, who was hand-delivered to the U.S. by Israel officials. Because Tony is her father.

With advice from his father in hand (Robert Wagner reprised the role and told his son to take some time for an emotional breather), Tony told Gibbs that he had to resign his post.

“I’m everything to that little girl now,” DiNozzo his boss. “And I’ve never been anybody’s everything before.”

This led to a number of emotional goodbyes with his colleagues, from McGree to Bishop to Abby, the latter of whom told Tony:

“I know how much Ziva really loved you. I know. She told me.”

Then there was the big farewell. It took place in Gibbs’ basement.

“That’s it,” Tony said. “I’m done now.”

To which Gibbs replied: “You gotta do whatcha gotta do.”

A rare hug followed… and it just happened to get very dusty in our living room around this same time.

What did you think of Tony’s goodbye? What it everything you could have hoped for? Can you believe Ziva is dead?!?

Go ahead and watch NCIS online via the above video if you need to catch up and then sound off. What an emotional hour of television!

Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 19 Recap: Hello, Goodbye!

With Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler officially outta here, Lifetime began a new chapter Tuesday with Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 19.

It was reunion time, and Abby Lee Miller was 15 minutes late.

“This does not happen every day,” Abby exclaims, before stating that she needs a new bra and the girls perform to kill time on stage.

Finally on stage, the ALDC shot-caller says Maddie will be going on to judge So You Think You Can Dance, and that she takes credit.

For all of this. No delusions of grandeur on her part at all.

As for Ashlee, one of the most controversial figures throughout the season, Jill went at it with her, saying Ashlee “didn’t know her place.”

Maddie performs “Lizzie Borden,” her creepiest dance yet.

Soon it was the Mini Moms’ time to come on stage, and the regular moms are obviously keen to belittle them for not grasping “sacrifice.”

Melissa thinks the Mini Moms assume they’re the “new generation of Abby,” while Holly notes that they will never “have that legacy.”

Hilariously, these are real comments from people.

We love to talk about how Dance Moms is fake even by reality show standards, and that’s true, but you can’t feign some of this bitterness!

Regarding the future of the ALDC, Miller says she is “still working” and running her Pittsburgh studio, while “trying to put the fires out.”

Federal bankruptcy charges can be a b!tch.

Holly says this season was tough since Abby never showed up on time and all the moms constantly had to wonder what her deal is.

If you watch Dance Moms online, that was true.

On a serious note, Kira Girard wasn’t around much this season, during which she had a son and gave Melissa guardianship of Kalani.

Kira expresses that she is thankful for Melissa since, otherwise, Kalani might have been “replaced” for good in the ranks of the ALDC.

Finally, the reunion concluded with “The Best of Melissa,” showing a montage of great moments, highs and lows from Maddie’s mom.

There will be “no other Melissa, Maddie or Mackenzie,” Jill says, thankful for her time with Melissa and noting that they’ll be friends forever.

Even Abby gets a little choked up at her exit, saying:

“With my whole heart … this is just the beginning.”

One Direction Says Goodbye to Fans With "History" Video

Warning: If you"re still in denial about One Direction going on hiatus, you may not want to watch the following video.

Yes, as Liam Payne confirmed in a recent interview, the world"s most beloved boy band is taking an extended break to pursue solo projects, but they"re not leaving their fans without a final dose of 1D at its finest.

The "History" music video – which saw a surprise realease this morning – is a sentimental stroll down memory lane, with a montage that spans the group"s career from the time they were first discovered on The X Factor in 2010 to their farewell performance on the same stage last month.

The clip certainly helps soften the blow, but it also serves as a reminder that fans may want to brace themselves for the possibility that this is the last time they"ll see the remaining four members of One Direction performing together as a group.

Breakup rumors have been circulating ever since Zayn Malik quit the band last year, and the fact that the lads have refused to set a return date isn"t terribly encouraging.

We know they won"t be back in 2016, and insiders say it looks like they won"t be reuniting in 2017, either.

For now, it looks like all the Directioners of the world can do is enjoy the video for "History" and hope for the best:

One direction says goodbye to fans with history video

Kim Richards Pens Emotional Goodbye to Monty Brinson

Kim Richards has taken to social media in order to write a message she prayed she’d never have to write.

About 24 hours after Monty Brinson died of cancer, the reality star has penned an emotional goodbye to her former husband of four years.

“Yesterday I said goodbye to best the friend I’ve ever had in my life,” Richards wrote on Instagram of Brinson, who is the father of Kim’s daughter, Brooke.

Brinson and Richards were married from 1985 to 1988.

But they remained in close touch for years after splitting, with Brinson showing support for Richards are recently as 2015 in light of her drinking and arrest issues.

“Monty was an amazing person with an amazing soul,” Richards added on Monday night.

“We shared over 30 years of Love & Happiness and brought a beautiful daughter into world. I am so grateful for all that we shared. I know we will be together again one day.

“I love you Monty.”

Those who watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online or on television over the years have seen Richards care for her ailing ex-husband, who was battling lung cancer.

“My angel in heaven, and I know that we be together again one day. I will carry you in my heart always my love… until then, may you rest in peace,” Richards concluded her post.

We send our condolences to Kim, to her friends, to her family members and to anyone who was close to Monty Brinson.

May he rest in peace.

Adele Says "Hello" to Milestone, Goodbye to Taylor Swift

It’s been only a few days since Adele said hello once again to the music world via the release of her song “Hello” and its accompanying video.

But the artist needed only one of those days to set a new milestone online.

After debuting the single to rave reviews (from such A-Listers as Katy Perry and Kate Hudson, no less) on Friday, Adele has gone ahead and set the mark for most video views on VEVO in a 24-hour period.

She’s knocked Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood music video from its perch in the process.

Swift’s four-minute film of a video amassed 20.1 million views within its opening 24 hours of release, a figure Adele blew past between Friday morning and Saturday morning.

The British sensation’s video (which features actor Tristan Wilds) racked up an incredible 27.7 million views in just one full day of viral popularity.

Adele took three years off between albums, but she will release “25” on November 20.

She will then serve as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live the very next day, on an episode hosted by Matthew McConaughey.

Now that’s some savvy marketing.

But Adele barely requires any marketing, to be honest.

While Swift filled her beloved video with many famous names and faces (below), Adele mostly just showed off her unparalleled pipes in hers.

Still, that was enough to set it on an historic path. Impressive.

Kylie Jenner Stuns World, Says Goodbye to Large Lips

We hope you’re sitting down for this, readers. We hope you are prepared to be shocked.

Because Kylie Jenner has a stunning announcement to make.

In a video posted on her new app, the 18-year old says she’s ready to move on from the controversial look that has garnered her so many headlines over the past year or so.

“You know what’s weird? I’ve been into small lips lately. Like, I want them to look small, you know?” Kylie tells fans in the footage.

Jenner, of course, spent many months telling anyone who would listen that her lips were 100% natural.

She was then called out by half-sister Khloe Kardashian during an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and forced to admit that she actually uses lip fillers.

Kylie defended her look in the past by saying she had always felt insecure about the size of her lips.

She added that she never meant to start a trend that grew so viral and even so dangerous that folks started to take on The Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge.

This involved people sticking their mouths into small containers in order to swell up their lips to Kylie’s preferred size.

It was rather ridiculous and it prompted a harsh response from Kylie.

Here’s a look back at Jenner’s lip evolution over the years, and then here’s a question for fans:

What body part will Kylie focus on next?!?
