Keshia Knight Pulliam: I STILL Believe Bill Cosby! No, Really!
Sometimes, otherwise smart people will buy into the unbelievable hook, line, and sinker.
Bill Cosby’s trial is ongoing, and he’s run pretty short on people who still believe him — but some folks are sticking with him, for some reason.
We’ve already mentioned that both Bill Cosby’s real wife and TV wife support him.
Keshia Knight Pulliam, who played his daughter on The Cosby Show, is also at the trial.
It looks like, defying all reason, she’s there to stand by his side every step of the way.
“I came to support because this is where you hear the facts. This is where the truth happens,” she told reporters.
It sounds like she’s imagining that he’s going to be vindicated in this trial.
“Ultimately, it’s easy to support someone and to be in their corner when things are great,” she says.
She’s right about that one, very specific thing.
“But true family, friendship, integrity,” she continues. “Is how people show up and support when things aren’t looking so great, when they aren’t shining.”
Usually this means coming over to help a friend move after a breakup, or letting someone crash on your couch after they lost their job, or just hanging out with them when they’re not at their best.
That’s usually what it means to not be a “fair weather friend.”
Somebody needs to tell Keshia Pulliam Knight that rape trials aren’t “friendships tests,” they’re literal trials for sexual assault.
It could be your blood sibling on trial and you would still be completely clear to cut ties with them. Nobody would think that you were only close because their life was going well.
We wish that we could say that she’s the only celebrity who still buys Bill Cosby’s claims of innocence, but she isn’t.
Of course, the reality is that, regardless of what anyone believes, acquittal is totally possible. We all know that.
If you believe in Cosby’s innocence, of course you believe that acquittal is possible.
If you believe in Cosby’s guilt, you can’t help but think of George Zimmerman, of O.J. Simpson, and Casey Anthony — all of whom were acquitted.
Because the jury system’s so, so great, right?
There’s something cautious about Keshia’s phrasing, though. Anybody else notice that?
With her “this is where the truth happens” line, maybe she’s wording her statements so that, no matter how the trial goes, she can still be “right” either way.
If he’s acquitted, she can point to her statements and say that she always knew that he was innocent, and that the truth has come out.
Never mind that acquittal of one assault would still leave more than 50 accusations, and that legal and factual innocence do not always overlap.
But, with her careful words, she can still be “right” even if he’s convicted.
The jury can hand down a guilty verdict and Keshia could, if she chose, argue that this trial has revealed how powerful this “conspiracy” against Bill Cosby is — powerful enough to convict a man she believes is innocent.
We don’t know if she’ll actually go that route. Maybe she doesn’t even know.
No matter how the trial turns out or how she responds, we hate to see her do this to herself.

Keshia Knight Pulliam: Ed Hartwell"s Mistress Tried to Make Me Lose My Baby!
It’s safe to say that Keshia Knight Pulliam has gone through enough drama in the last year to last a lifetime.
A million lifetimes, probably.
Keshia got married to former NFL player Ed Hartwell on January 1st, 2016. They shared a few months of what we assume was marital bliss — at the very least, things were fine.
Then, that July, she announced that she was expecting her first child with Ed. Adorable, right?
Not so much, because just a few days later, Ed filed for divorce. Not only that, but he demanded a paternity test for Keshia’s unborn child.
The implication for the paternity test, of course, was that he was concerned she’d been cheating on him.
He said as much in an interview, claiming that during their marriage, she’d been gone from home a lot, staying out all night and going out of town, so he wanted to “make sure” he was the father.
In turn, she revealed that he was the one who cheated on her, and that she was ready to leave him because of it when she found out she was pregnant.
What a mess, right? But wait, it gets worse!
Though Keshia was offended by Ed’s request for a paternity test, she agreed to it — and surprise, he was the father!
She gave birth to their baby, a sweet little girl named Ella Grace, in January, so the obvious next step is a custody battle.
And that’s where we are now.
Keshia and Ed are in the middle of a court battle for the ages, and she filed new papers this week in which she claimed that Ed had a girlfriend during their marriage.
Not only that — the girlfriend was allegedly conspiring somehow to force a miscarriage on her!
Keshia claims that a mutual friend of the former couple came forward to tell her that Ed’s mistress was upset that his wife had become pregnant, so she “wanted to get something that would cause someone to have a miscarriage.”
Like some kind of pill, perhaps? A magic potion? The help of a powerful dark sorcerer?
It’s hard to say, but, interestingly enough, this isn’t the first time Keshia’s accused someone of trying to force her to have a miscarriage.
According to court documents she filed back in August, she believed that Ed’s “deep-seated rage and uncontrollable anger” was stressful to her, and though he knew it, he continued to act out.
Apparently hoping that the stress would cause Keshia to miscarry?
It’s hard to say.
But what’s not hard to say is that we feel just a boatload of pity for that poor, precious little baby girl for having to live with all of this.

Keshia Knight Pulliam Baby Name: REVEALED!
Keshia Knight Pulliam has already said she’s done crying over her divorce.
But that doesn’t mean the former Cosby Show actress is done thinking about it.
In fact, Pulliam says she actually used her legal split from Ed Hartwell as inspiration for her impending baby’s middle name.
“I was back and forth on if I wanted to share this or not, but I decided that I would because it is so hard for me to keep it in,” Pulliam said today on her podcast, Kandidly Keshia.
She then dropped the baby name bomb:
“I’m so excited about her. Her name is…Ella Grace.”
The 37-year-old went on to explain that she had already picked her daughter’s first name… but the middle name came to mind after the recent back-and-forth with her estranged husband.
“I knew Ella was going to be my first baby girl’s first name. Then in the midst of all of this is when she’s earned her middle name, Grace,” Keshia said.
“When I tell you through all of this the grace of God has so been with us and has covered us and protected us – she’s been my saving grace to get through it.
“It’s knowing that it’s not about me. Knowing that on days when I want to curl up in the bed, pull the covers over my head and cry until my eyes fall out, that is not an option because she feels everything I feel and right now, it is bigger than me – it’s about her.
“It is about her being ok.”
When Pulliam refers to all of this, she’s referring to some serious craziness.
It all started just a couple weeks ago when Hartwell filed for divorce and also demanded a paternity test from Pulliam.
He thought maybe she had been cheating on him and wanted confirmation that he really is the father of his child.
Pulliam responded by denying all allegations of infidelity, fighting back by saying that Hartwell was the one who was disloyal with his private parts.
Still, she says she then got pregnant and wanted to make the marriage work.
Sources claim Pulliam was blindsided by Hartwell’s divorce filing.
A great deal of He Said/She Said has followed, but nothing can top what Pulliam wrote in her own recently-filed legal documents.
She claims that Hartwell has been “plotting to harm” and “obstruct” her pregnancy.
In other words: she says Hartwell is actively trying to force Pulliam to miscarry.
Pulliam “was forced to endure … berating, demeaning, yelling and cursing at her throughout the parties’ short-term marriage,” the papers read.
“To add insult to injury, [Hartwell] was well aware of the stress that his antics placed upon the unborn child, and … continued to engage in such activity.”
Pulliam is trying to argue that Hartwell is purposely causing his estranged wife stress in order to terminate her pregnancy.
What does he have to say in response to this seemingly wild accusation?
“The Plaintiff finds the libelous allegations despicable and opines they were only asserted to defame the Plaintiff,” his attorney said in response.
Hartwell’s legal reply adds that Pulliam ought to “be ashamed of herself for ever making such false and offensive allegations.”
It’s all pretty insane.
But “Grace” is a pretty name and let’s hope both Hartwell and Pulliam exhibit a lot of it over the coming months and years.
They are going to have a little girl to raise, after all.

Big Tigger: I Didn"t Knock Up Keshia Knight Pulliam!
With accusations flying back and forth between Keshia Knight Pulliam and Ed Hartwell, Big Tigger is here with a very simple message.
And it goes something like this:
KEEP ME OUT OF IT!
Over the past several days, Pulliam has been in the news for the most awkward of reasons.
It all started when Hartwell filed for divorce after just seven months of marriage, including with his legal documents a demand that Pulliam undergo a paternity test.
Yes, The Cosby Show alum is expecting a child and Hartwell isn’t certain that he’s the father.
Like we said: awkward!
Pulliam has since spoken out and said she never cheated on Hartwell, that he is most definitely her impending baby’s daddy and that, in fact, Hartwell cheated on HER!
There’s been a lot of ugly back and forth that has made it pretty much impossible for us to enjoy any future viewings of The Cosby Show.
So, what does Big Tigger have to do with this mess of a relationship?
The TV host and radio personality dated Pulliam from 2012 through 2015 and went on record during his radio show this morning.
“There’s been lots of conversation and innuendo suggesting that I might be the father of someone’s child,” he said on air, adding for clarity’s sake:
“There is…zero percent chance that the child that is being alleged might be mine, is mine.”
And how can Big Tigger be so certain?!?
“[I] could not have impregnated a female that I have not spoken to nor seen…since our breakup,” he said.
“Any insinuation, speculation, intimation or rumor of me being the father of that young lady’s beautiful child…[is] just not true.”
Oh, okay then. There we have it.
Again, Pulliam is NOT the one spreading these rumors.
She insists that she’s been a faithful wife.
Hartwell, meanwhile, admits that he has no proof of Pulliam getting porked by anyone else over the past few months.
But he says she did disappear for a few days after he confessed to still having feelings for his ex-wife. He also says Pulliam was baby-obsessed and that was the basis for their split.
At some point, we hope these two get on an amicable page because a child is about to come into the world under their care.
Although it’s obvious by now that it won’t be under their mutual, spontaneous care. There’s no reconciliation in the cards here.
“I have no desire to continue to be married to him,” Pulliam said on her podcast last week.

Keshia Knight Pulliam on Divorce Drama: No More Tears!
Keshia Knight Pulliam is choosing to focus on the positive.
Yes, the former child star is getting divorced.
Yes, husband Ed Hartwell dropped this unfortunate nugget into her lap this week and, yes, he even include the demand for a paternity suit in the divorce documents.
Also: yes, Hartwell didn’t paint Pulliam in a very good light when he told The New York Post that she was baby-obsessed and that she would disappear on him for nights at a time, hence his questions over the father of her child.
But still.
Pulliam is here to say that she’s doing just fine.
“It’s Friday, and I’ve made it,” the actress said today on her podcast, Kandidly Keshia, adding:
“One thing you know in show business is that the show must always go on.
“I’ve definitely had a trying week, to say the least, but I’m grateful, I’m here, I’m well, baby girl is well and, at the end of the day, that is all that matters.”
Pulliam ism indeed, pregnant with a girl.
It’s unclear when she is due, but she’ll be raising the child on her own.
“Despite what’s been publicized, there’s always funny, there’s always love, there’s always laughter, no matter what,” Pulliam said of her ongoing “little situation.”
This would include a divorce from the man she married a mere seven months ago.
Hartwell said in his latest interview that Pulliam wanted to have a child right away.
Despite his protestations, the couple did get pregnant… but then they grew apart.
When Hartwell admitted to still having feelings for his ex, he says Pulliam flipped out and basically vanished from his life.
Pulliam, however, shared her side of the story with Entertainment Tonight, telling the outlet on Wednesday that Hartwell is the one who cheated.
She says she was not paid for that appearance.
“There’s no amount of money that could replace that, and it was about the opportunity to share my truth – share what has actually happened to me,” she said today.
“And I’m grateful for it because of how many women I’ve been able to empower, because silence is what allows this to continue, for people to suffer, for people to feel alone, and I’m human – we all have stuff, I’m not excluded.
“So the fact that I was able to help even one woman, for me, makes it all worth it.”
Later in the podcast, Pulliam said she will never be friends with Hartwell’s ex-wife, Lisa Wu, though she wants to make it clear that she did NOT steal anyone’s husband.
“The show must go on, you just keep it movin,” Pulliam concluded on air.
“This isn’t the final destination – it’s a pit stop. No more tears, I’m laughing all the way from this point and enjoying life.”
After recording the podcast, Pulliam shared the following photo on Instagram and wrote a note of gratitude to her supporters.

Ed Hartwell: THIS is Why I Dumped Keshia Knight Pulliam
It is most definitely all over between Ed Hartwell and Keshia Knight Pulliam.
That much is not up for debate.
But why prompted the couple to split after just seven months of marriage (and one pregnancy)?
That’s a question to which both sides likely have a different answer.
Earlier this week, Hartwell didn’t merely file for divorce from The Cosby Show alum; he also demanded in legal documents that Pulliam take a paternity test.
The answer why would appear to be obvious:
Hartwell must suspect his wife of cheating on him, right?
Insiders later came out and said Pulliam was confident in her fidelity. She was angry to be asked to take the paternity test, but confident she would pass it.
A couple days after news of her impending split broke, Pulliam then gave an interview in which she claimed Hartwell had cheated on her.
In other words: the entire thing is a huge mess.
Now, Hartwell has spoken out for the first time and told his side of the story to The New York Post.
The former linebacker says his marriage was torn apart by jealousy, disagreements about when to start a family and suspicions about infidelity … on both sides.
Explained Hartwell to Page Six of one significant way in which the two disagred:
“She wanted a baby really fast, and what I was trying to explain to her was that – from my beliefs, from seeing other successful people – that when you first get married, especially since we didn’t have a long courtship, that we should actually focus on each other and not just have a baby.
“That’s something she really did want to do.”
The couple got married on January 1 after a mere four months of marriage.
Hartwell says they stopped having sex once Pulliam got pregnant and that she should not have been surprised by his divorce filing.
“I said, ‘I think we probably messed up. I think we moved too fast,’” he told the newspaper. ‘”Our lives and wants are headed two different directions.’”
Hartwell says he confessed to Pulliam that his ex-wife had “lost a baby” and that he realized he still cared deeply about her.
This admission made the former Cosby Show star so hurt and angry that she basically disappeared from his life.
Hartwell added that Pulliam fled to visit a spiritualist and “started going out with friends all the time and not telling me when she was coming home or sometimes not coming home at all.”
This is why he has questions about the paternity of her child.
“I can’t say she’s been unfaithful,” he says.
“I can say she’s stayed out, she’s not came home, she’s went out-of-town … for three days, I don’t know what’s going on. I can say that.
“I can’t say she was unfaithful. I can say she wanted to get in vitro, I can say she wanted to do some things to make sure she got pregnant. I just want to make sure it is mine.”
Hartwell denies having cheated on Pulliam, but makes it sound like the baby issue tore the couple apart.
“She wants what she wants, I want what I want: she wants a baby, I want to find love and happiness.
“But at the end of the day, I think if things don’t add up, I think it’s fair for me, if things don’t add up, to want a test.”

Keshia Knight Pulliam Fires Back: My Husband Cheated on ME!
Keshia Knight Pulliam rose to fame by starring on one of the most beloved sitcoms in TV history.
But the actress likely feels as if she’s stuck in her very own soap opera these days.
Earlier this week, we reported that Ed Hartwell had not only filed for divorce from the former Cosby Show star…
… he also demanded in legal papers that Pulliam take a paternity test.
Indeed, the couple (who only just got married in January) is expecting a child together.
Or are they?
Hartwell clearly has doubts over whether or not Pulliam has been faithful to him, so much so that he isn’t certain he’s the father of the former star’s impending baby.
Following reports that Pulliam has no problem taking the paternity test because she has remained loyal to her husband, the woman behind Rudy Huxtable finally spoke out for herself on Wednesday.
In an exclusive chat with Entertainment Tonight, Pulliam said she has “never cheated during my marriage,” but then went ahead and dropped a bombshell of her own:
Hartwell was the one who did the cheating in their relationship!
“That’s not who I am,” Pulliam told ET. “That’s not an issue. There’s no problem. I’ve never been unfaithful to my husband. This is his daughter.”
(According to People Magazine, Hartwell “doesn’t have any evidence of cheating” but wants a paternity test because he is concerned about the timing of the pregnancy, which the insider alleges came “during a very dark spot in their relationship.”)
Hartwell, Pulliam goes on to confess, is the one who stepped out on her.
“When earlier in my marriage I was faced with this, I was ready to leave,” she said.
“I had divorce papers ready. I presented them to him. He begged … He said: ‘Please, I want my family,’ he said all the right things.
“Once I was pregnant I decided to give him another chance.”
Pulliam and Hartwell exchanged vows only seven months ago in a small ceremony at the former’s house.
Pulliam said she was taken completely aback by news of the split. She had no warning about Hartwell’s filing.
“He left like it was any other day, said goodbye, I was still asleep in bed,” she said. “He texted me saying: ‘Hey, can I talk to you for a moment,’ …
“He was like: ‘You know, this isn’t working.’ All I heard was: ‘I filed for divorce this morning and I’m coming to get my stuff."”
Weird, right?
Might this be a classic case of the person who is doing the cheating trying to turn things around and deflect blame?
Does Pulliam still love Hartwell? Only “who he pretended to be,” she explained.
“I have no desire to continue to be married to him,” she added.
“I’m doing this one interview, and I’m done. I’m not going to continue to revisit, regurgitate, but I’m not going to continue to allow people to tell blatant lies about me.”
At the end of the day, Pulliam only cares about the little girl growing inside of her belly.
“It’s one thing when you choose to be in the spotlight. It’s another thing when you have a baby. And it’s not about me,” she said.
“The biggest thing and my priority is [my daughter] doesn’t deserve it.”

Keshia Knight Pulliam to Ed Hartwell: You"re the Father!
Keshia Knight Pulliam was hit with a double whammy this week.
First, Ed Hartwell filed for divorce from The Cosby Show alum, despite the pair having only been married for seven months.
(They tied the proverbial knot during an intimate, small ceremony at the actress’ home in January.)
But then the former NFL linebacker truly sacked Pulliam where it counts and where it hurts the most:
He demanded in his legal papers that she get a paternity test!
Indeed, Pulliam is pregnant with the couple’s first child. But Hartwell clearly has questions over whether or not he’s the father.
It’s very safe to assume concerns over Pulliam’s fidelity are what caused him to file for divorce as well.
According to TMZ, however, Pulliam is not sweating the paternity test demand. She is certain that her estranged husband is the man who knocked her up.
Sources confirm to the celebrity gossip site that Pulliam was “blindsided” by the divorce filing.
She knows she’s been faithful to Hartwell and has no clue why he would believe anything to the contrary.
The insiders also say that Pulliam is angry over Ed running so quickly to court to file divorce papers.
Is she aware that there are some hiccups in their relationship? Yes.
But she also believes married couples should work things out because that’s what her parents have done to stay together for nearly 40 years.
Still. She should probably hire herself a good lawyer.
“What kind of man files for divorce from his pregnant wife?” a source asks TMZ, implying that this kind of man would not be the kind to change his mind.
(And would Pulliam even want to be with someone who made this decision in the first place?)
Pulliam will forever best be known for having played Rudy Huxtable on The Cosby Show.
Hartwell, meanwhile, played a total of five seasons in the NFL, amassing seven sacks while playing for the Ravens and Falcons.

Just days after Keshia Knight Pulliam announced to the world that she is pregnant, the actress most famous for playing Rudy Huxtable has been hit with a bombshell:
Her husband wants a divorce.
Oh, and a paternity test.
YIKES.
Ed Hartwell, a 38-year old former NFL player, has filed for divorce from The Cosby Show alum a mere six months after the couple got married, according to a rep for Pulliam.
But that’s not all:
The legal papers were submitted to Georgia’s Fulton County Superior Court this week … and they include a demand that Pulliam undergo a paternity test.
WHOA THERE.
We’re just speculating here, but it sounds very much as if Hartwell suspects the actress of cheating on him, doesn’t it?
The shocking development arrives just one week after Pulliam, announced that she is expecting a child.
The star broke the news in an Instagram post, writing: “Surprise!! We have a new addition coming soon …”
She included the following picture with this cute announcement:
But now things have turned very ugly between Pulliam and Hartwell.
Hartwell – familiar to fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta for his appearances in 2008 – got engaged to Pulliam on New Year’s Eve.

Hartwell – familiar to fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta for his appearances in 2008 – got engaged to Pulliam on New Year’s Eve.
The actress gushed about the news in an Instagram post that read as follows:
“Happy to spend not only my new year but my life with this guy!!! #BlessedBeyondMeasure.”
The two tied then exchanged vows in an intimate wedding at the actress’ home, she said on her podcast Kandidly Keshia earlier this year.
“It was my dream,” she explained at the time. “We did it literally in our living room in our home .… We invited people. They had no clue they were coming to a wedding.”
And we had no clue someone who came into our lives in such an adorable manner would end up in this kind of scandal.
Just look at Pulliam as Rudy!

Keshia Knight Pulliam BREAKS SILENCE on Bill Cosby Rape Allegations
With more than 50 women coming forward and accusing Bill Cosby of rape, it’s getting harder and harder to find anyone who’ll still go to bat for the disgraced comedian.
But it appears the former Jell-O spokesperson still has a friend in Keshia Knight Pulliam.
Pulliam, who played Cosby’s daughter Rudy Huxtable on The Cosby Show, recently shut down Amber Rose after the model shared some critical words about the man.
As a guest on Pulliam’s podcast, “Kandidly Keshia,” Amber was discussing her annual “Slut Walk,” an event held to speak out against misogyny and sexist double standards against women.
“I get very frustrated when I see guys call girls hoes or, you know, when people like just stick up for Bill Cosby,” Amber told Pulliam.
That’s when Pulliam cut off her guest and did the exact thing that Amber said frustrates her – stick up for Bill Cosby.
“I feel you, and everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but we still live in a country where you’re innocent till proven guilty,” scolded Pulliam.
“And I understand everything that has happened, and me being a feminist and believing women — no means no and I get that — but, just so you know, I did work with him for a really long time,” she continued.
“I love him dearly, still, and that isn’t the man that I know.”
It was an awkward moment, to be sure, and while Amber assured Pulliam that she does “totally get it,” she struggled to find a response that wouldn’t offend her host.
“I feel like… celebrity… and classism… and double standards… all take a part in, you know, society and how we treat people,” Amber finally managed.
Yikes.
But it’s doubtful Amber will change her stance on the issue. She recently released a new collection of emoji, which includes an icon of Cosby holding up a sign reading, “I DID IT.”
Looks like these two are going to have to agree to disagree.

Keshia Knight Pulliam & Ed Hartwell: MARRIED in Surprise Wedding!
Happy news! Rudy from The Cosby Show got married!
That’s right, Keshia Knight Pulliam, who played the adorably spunky “Rudy” on Cosby, is now wed to former NFL player Ed Hartwell.
And here’s the best part: it was a surprise wedding!
On her podcast, “Kandidly Keshia,” the former child star revealed that her friends and family “had no clue they were coming to a wedding. They thought they were coming to a New Year’s party.”
What a way to kick off 2016.
Instead of choosing a destination wedding, the couple decided to keep the ceremony low-key by holding it in their house.
“We did it literally in our living room in our home,” she said.
Pulliam shared a photo of their wedding kiss on her Instagram, writing in the caption:
“The most AMAZING day of our life!!! New ‘Kandidly Keshia’ available on play.it/Keshia. Listen as we share our magical wedding day. #IAmOfficiallyMrsHartwell”
New hubby Hartwell is just as ecstatic about their union.
“I’m happy every day. I thank God every day,” he said, joining his wife on the podcast. “No matter what I go through, I thank him every day that I get to wake up next to such a beautiful angel that he sent into my life.”
Super sweet!
This is the first marriage for Pulliam and the second for Hartwell, who was previously married to The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Lisa Wu. The two divorced in 2011 and have a son together.
