Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer: Still Together! Still Ridiculous!

Things have been pretty rocky lately for Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer.

Rockier than they were when they got married while he was high on heroin, even.

Yep, for the past month or so, Ryan’s life has been falling apart in a pretty major way — again, even worse than it already was.

In March, he got arrested for violating his probation, because it turns out that he’d been arrested last year for simple possession of heroin.

We’re still not clear on exactly how he violated the probation — Mackenzie has said that the whole thing was a misunderstanding and that he wasn’t technically arrested at all, and other sources have claimed he either failed or missed a drug test.

What we do know is that he was arrested at his home, he got a brand new mug shot, and that may not have even been the worst thing that happened to him that week.

The same day we found out about the arrest, a woman came forward to claim that she’d been talking to Ryan on Tinder.

It was confirmed that the phone number the woman had belonged to Ryan, so that means he’s been cheating or trying to cheat on his pregnant wife.

Because, oh yeah, it just so happened that Mackenzie’s pregnancy was revealed on Teen Mom OG exactly when all this other nonsense was happening.

One more thing — during this super eventful time, Maci Bookout also started the process of obtaining orders of protection against him for herself and her children.

She did this because she said he’d been harassing her and threatening to kidnap their son. Her husband filed an order of his own because Ryan had actually threatened to murder him.

Shortly after all of this, Mackenzie left their Chattanooga home for New York.

We don’t know why or for how long, but it didn’t look like a great sign.

Last we heard, the couple was on the brink of divorce because “neither one of them can stand each other,” and that when it comes to their relationship, “things are way worse than they seem.”

But as one source explained it. “she just sticks around for the paycheck,” so maybe as long as Ryan has a job on Teen Mom he’ll have a wife.

With this latest development, it’s looking like that last thing may be the case.

Earlier this week, a car dealership in Chattanooga shared a photo of Ryan and Mackenzie in front of a new truck they’d purchased — a custom Ford F-150.

They thanked the Edwards family for their purchase and told them to “please let us know if you need anything at all in the future!!”

This is interesting for a number of reasons.

One, it means that they’re definitely together right now.

Two, this is the first new photo of Mackenzie since we learned she was pregnant. She’s wearing a very loose shirt so we can’t see any baby bump, and she may not even have much of one yet, but still, it’s worth mentioning.

Three, Ryan and his wife are about to have a baby and this is the vehicle they decide to purchase? Seriously?

Four, isn’t it so great that this guy who’s been known to drive while on heroin purchased this huge truck? Seems like a great idea for everyone.

Stay safe, Ryan and Mackenzie! And also everyone who may be driving in or around southeast Tennessee!

Mackenzie Standifer to Dr. Drew: Ryan Edwards Doesn"t Need Your Help!

Part two of the Teen Mom OG reunion special will air on MTV this Monday, and judging from a newly released preview clip, it’s a doozy.

The segment – obtained by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup – shows an irate Mackenzie Standifer butting heads with Dr. Drew Pinsky during a discussion about Ryan Edwards’ heroin addiction.

The trouble began when Pinsky pointed out that by failing to properly follow his doctor’s orders Edwards is putting himself at risk for a relapse.

Standifer talked over Pinsky for a few awkward seconds before the doctor attempted to bring some order to the conversation by asking, “Are you ready to listen to me?”

“Excuse me? No, I’m not,” Mackenzie replied, dialing the sass factor up to 11.

Drew pressed on because allowing himself to be shut down by an irritable 21-year-old would make a pretty crappy therapist.

He reminds Mackenzie that in his ongoing custody battle with Maci Bookout, Ryan has claimed that he’s currently being treated for his addiction.

By refusing to take his Suboxone as prescribed, however, Ryan is being negligent about his treatment.

Pinsky pointed out that as a result, he can’t, in good conscience, advise Maci to trust her child to Ryan’s care.

“Then, I could argue to Maci that he’s under doctor’s prescription, he’s following it to the letter and you can check with that doctor and that doctor will take responsibility for any problems,” Dr. Drew explained.

“But if [Ryan’s] taking [the medication] ad-lib, I can’t vouch for that.”

That’s when Mackenzie clapped back with an argument that makes it sound as though she doesn’t fully understand whats being said here:

“I don’t think you can vouch for anything Ryan does, honestly,” Standifer snapped.

“But that’s just my opinion.”

We can see why Mackenzie saw fit to question Pinsky’s judgment.

After all, what could a medical professional who specializes in addiction possibly have to say about Ryan’s substance abuse issues?

Going forward, she might want to be a little nicer to old Doc Drew, however.

After all, when she inevitably divorces Edwards, she’s gonna want Pinsky on her side.

Mackenzie Standifer: Is She FINALLY Divorcing Ryan Edwards?!

Just last summer, Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer got married in one of the most depressng ceremonies ever captured on video.

It seemed like the couple was starting at rock bottom, but remarkably, it"s been all downhill ever since.

In the past month, Ryan has been arrested; he"s been accused of making violent threats, and he"s been caught cheating on Mackenzie.

Through it all, he and Standifer have kept up appearances, but it now looks as though they"re on the verge of self-destruction.

1. The Troubled Couple

Ryan and Mackenzie were never exactly a match made in heaven. In fact, their marriage seemed doomed from the start.

2. A Terrifying Ride

On the ride to their wedding, Ryan was so high on heroin and Xanax that he lost consciousness while driving. He checked into rehab shortly after he and Mackenzie exchanged vows.

3. The Downward Spiral

After he left treatment, their relationship seemed to slightly improve. In the months that followed, however, their situation has only gotten much, much worse.

4. A Growing Family

Last month, Mackenzie revealed that she’s pregnant with Ryan’s baby. Unfortunately, the news came at a very dark time for Edwards.

5. A Major Rough Patch

News of the pregnancy came on the heels of reports that Ryan had been arrested and had been caught using Tinder to try and cheat on Mackenzie.

6. One Loyal Wife

Remarkably, it originally looked as though Mackenzie intended to stick by Ryan’s side despite some seriously troubling behavior. But now, it seems she’s come to her senses…

Ryan Vieth: Son of Tamra Judge Feuds With Baby Mama!

As fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County remember from when Tamra Judge was publicly slammed by her estranged daughter, Tamra has used her children to further her storylines before.

But her son Ryan Vieth is showing that he doesn’t need his mother’s help to stir up drama. He can do that just fine on his own.

Now, he’s ignited a firestorm feud with his baby mama, Sarah Rodriguez.

Ryan Vieth’s relationship with Sarah Rodriguez has been over for ages, but they’ll always be connected by their daughter, Ava.

But for whatever reason, Ryan has chosen to antagonize the mother of Tamra Judge’s only grandchild.

They’ve had their spats in the past.

(Actually, Ryan was arrested for domestic violence in 2015, though the charges were eventually dropped … so it sounds like things have gotten a lot worse than spats)

And they’ve feuded on Instagram after their split.

This time, things are starting off with what we only wish were a promo for Amazon’s upcoming billion-dollar Lord of the Rings series.

“Anyone want to buy my old wedding ring, I have no need for this,” he writes.

As you can imagine, this was interpreted by many as a transparent attempt to antagonize and malign his ex.

He told a follower “sold!” after the follower offered him $ 5 for it.

He would later go on to explain: “Just figured I’d post something interesting today.” He also reminded followers that he and Sarah never actually married.

Which is not really an explanation.

Would you care to guess how well-received his post was by his ex?

Sarah Jane Rodriguez did not mince words.

“Ryan wants to officially announce that he is looking for his next Instagram victim!!”

Oh wow!

She then proceeds to warn others away from repeating her past mistakes.

“As soon as he is done pretending he is something he is not and sucking you in.”

That’s ominous. And there’s a tag to go with that sense of foreboding.

“It will be too late. #beware”

Rodriguez explains herself:

“I have been working my ass off to make things good for Ava.”

Of course she has. She’s her mom.

“But this is not ok to publicly humiliate someone like this.”

Like everyone else, she interpreted the wedding ring post as a slight against her.

“No one will ever know the sacrifices I made for this person only to be s–t on over and over.”

In the past, Rodriguez has opened up about her feuds with Ryan by sharing the sorts of messages that he sends her, as she did with this image last November.

(Yikes)

Rodriguez later deleted her post decrying Vieth’s “wedding ring” auction, and shared a message that reads:

“When you have a bad day, a really bad day, try to treat the world better than it treated you.”

She added her own caption to that sage advice, writing:

“Okay, let’s start over.”

Sometimes, that’s the best choice that a person can make.

We do have to wonder, however, if Tamra Judge is going to work this conflict into her own life.

In the past, Rodriguez has accused Vieth of relying heavily upon his mother for emotional support. So he probably doesn’t mind contributing to her reality career the way that some of her other children do.

Ryan Edwards: Caught Cheating on Mackenzie Standifer AGAIN?!

It"s been a tough few weeks for Ryan Edwards. 

But to be fair, the Teen Mom OG star"s problems are almost entirely of his own making.

First, the world learned that Edwards had been arrested for an alleged probation violation stemming from a 2017 arrest for heroin possession.

Shortly thereafter, it was revealed that Edwards had been using Tinder to try and cheat on his pregnant wife, Mackenzie Standifer.

Now, just when it looked as though Edwards had finally hit rock bottom, another allegation of infidelity has emerged, and this time, it might be more than Mackenzie can handle…

1. Trouble From the Start

Ryan and Mackenzie’s marriage has been fraught with tension from the very beginning. It all started with a scene Teen Mom OG fans likely remember all too well.

2. Wedding Day Disaster

Ryan was so high on opiates the day of his wedding that he lost consciousness while driving to the church. He checked into rehab shortly thereafter.

3. The Decline

Ryan left rehab ahead of schedule, but he claimed that he was sober for several months after his treatment ended. Fans later learned this was a lie, thanks to footage that showed him guzzling booze just moments before he and Mackenzie’s “makeup wedding.”

4. A New Low

In March, Ryan was arrested for an alleged probation violation. Fans were not even aware that Ryan had previously been arrested or that he was on probation. Shockingly, it seems he kept the initial arrest a secret from his baby mama, Maci Bookout, as well.

5. One Awful Week

Wthin days of news of the arrest going public, several media outlets reported that Ryan had been using the dating app Tinder in an effort to cheat on Mackenzie. At least three different women came forward claiming that Edwards had made advances on them using the app.

6. Enter the Ex

Those who know her best say Mackenzie has been in denial about Ryan’s infidelity. However, it may have just gotten a lot harder for her to pretend she doesn’t know what’s going on.

Maci Bookout: YES, Ryan Edwards Is Still On Drugs!

Not surprisingly, last night"s Teen Mom OG reunion focused largely on Ryan Edwards" struggles with addiction.

If you watched the show this season, you know that Maci Bookout wanted Ryan to take a drug test before she would allow him to spend time alone with their son, Bentley.

And if you"re up on the latest reports about Ryan, you know that her fears were completely justified.

Last month, Ryan was arrested for a probation violation stemming charges of possession of heroin.

As we learned last night, Maci"s not saying "I told you so," but she"s also not backing down from her assertion that Edwards is not fit to be a dad…

1. Facing the Music

The reunion was taped before many of the latest revelations about Ryan came to light. Still, it wasn’t an easy night for Maci’s baby daddy or for his long-suffering wife, Mackenzie Standifer.

2. What Maci Knew

Even before Ryan’s latest arrest, Bookout maintained that he was back on drugs. She insisted that he submit to testing as part of their custody agreement, but Edwards refused.

3. Where There’s Smoke

When Edwards refused to be tested. Maci concluded that he was still using. The past few weeks have sadly validated her claims.

4. Some Things Never Change…

On last night’s reunion show, Maci revealed to Dr. Drew Pinsky that she still believes Ryan is in no position to properly care for his son. Ryan basically confirmed as much in his own interview with Pinsky.

5. Reunion Ryan

Ryan spoke about his struggles with substance abuse, and even though he made it sound as though his addictions were well behind him, he also revealed that he’s putting very little effort into maintaining his sobriety.

6. A Troubling Revelation

Along with much of the audience, Pinsky was stunned by the revelation that Ryan has virtually lost contact with his therapist just months after leaving rehab. Dr. Drew was also shocked by the fact that Ryan blames the show for his inability to continue treatment.

Ryan Edwards: I Can"t Get Sober, I"m Too Famous!

If you’d been told a few years ago that Ryan Edwards would end up having possibly the saddest, most disturbing story out of all the Teen Mom crew, would you have believed it?

Maybe, maybe not.

Ryan’s always been a jackass and a deadbeat dad, but unfortunately that’s not so uncommon when it comes to this show.

He’s rarely shown interest in his son Bentley, and Maci Bookout has always had a hard time trying to co-parent with him.

The whole cat-killing fiasco was definitely terrifying — remember, Ryan bragged about killing a bunch of feral cats after luring them onto his property back in 2016?

But last year when it was revealed that he’d developed a heroin addiction and that he’d been shooting up and driving around town, well …

Way to reach Jenelle levels of horrifying, Ryan.

He married Mackenzie Standifer last May, and as we saw on the show, he was nodding off while driving to the ceremony.

Shortly after the wedding he ended up in rehab, but he left early, and when he came back home, he seemed to replace heroin with booze.

He was so drunk at his second wedding that he was slurring his words, and he barely seemed like he understood what was going on.

Things became worse and worse as time went on, to the point where many fans suspect he was high during this week’s season finale.

It looked like he was nodding off again, and at times it looked like he was starting to go through withdrawals.

It’s all bad, it’s all terrible, and since last month he was arrested for violating his probation then received restraining orders from Maci and her family after threatening them, things have certainly gotten worse.

But, as Ryan explains to Dr. Drew in next week’s reunion special, he can’t get help for any of these issues.

“Why’s that?” you might be wondering. “Surely he can afford another go at rehab, or at least a therapist. If not, meetings are free!”

Those are valid things to wonder, but the thing is, Ryan is famous. And so he simply can’t do these things.

It doesn’t make any sense at all, but let’s just hear him out, all right?

In the sneak peek, Dr. Drew asks him how he’s doing, and he says he’s doing good, and the good doctor asks him about what he’s doing to stay clean.

“I still talk to my therapist that was in treatment with me,” Ryan says. “I’ll call him up every once in a while now, it used to be a lot more, now it’s every once in a while.”

“But I have Mackenzie and my mom and dad, you know?”

Dr. Drew isn’t having it, and he tells him that he’s sure he’s been advised to get more help than that.

“Yeah,” Ryan admits. “We went through that counseling, it’s honestly hard to find a counselor ‘cause of this TV show.”

Mackenzie backs him up, but again, Dr. Drew isn’t having it — maybe because he used to have a show that was completely centered on helping addicts on TV.

Ryan claims that therapists have told him that they wouldn’t see him “because I don’t think the TV show and you are a good idea.”

Drew tries to be nice about it and advises him to find someone else because “that’s a very strange move, at the very least you could commit to them, you wouldn’t bring cameras in.”

Because obviously the issue the counselor had was Ryan filming therapy, not him getting therapy at all.

But Mackenzie circled back, saying that it was “really hard” because “they just said addicts are selfish and Ryan is selfish and this show makes him selfish and so he couldn’t be a part of the group unless he quit his job, which, whatever.”

Yeah, that 100% never happened.

It really sounds like Ryan did try to go to therapy but was told that his sessions couldn’t be filmed and that it would be a good idea for his sobriety if he got off the show altogether, which is probably true.

And then, of course, he and Mackenzie are twisting it to make it sound like people on TV shows can’t get help, which is obviously very, very untrue.

As a sad little bonus, Dr. Drew suggests a 12-step program, to which Ryan replies “I just don’t, I mean, I …”

Drew tells him that it’s free and available everywhere, and he says “I guess it is.”

No, buddy, it definitely is.

At the end, Dr. Drew lays it out for him by saying that he personally knows tons and tons of people on TV shows and in movies that were able to get treatment.

But Ryan really is not interested.

It’s sad that he and Mackenzie are trying to say that he’s not able to get help when it’s so obviously not the case.

On Teen Mom OG, every single mom has gotten therapy at one point or another, and it’s even been filmed — Maci, Amber, Farrah, and Catelynn have all managed to find someone to work with them.

It’s a ridiculous excuse Ryan’s come up with here, and it really seems to suggest that he’s not sober and has no intentions of getting that way anytime soon.

Ryan Edwards to Mackenzie Standifer: I Want a Divorce!

When Ryan Edwards checked into rehab following his disastrous wedding to Mackenzie Standifer last year, fans were hopeful that the troubled Teen Mom OG star would finally be able to turn things around.

Sadly, Ryan"s situation has deteriorated rapidly in recent months, and many viewers now find it impossible to sympathize with him at all.

In an emotional scene from last night"s season finale, it was finally confirmed that Standifer is pregnant with the couple"s first child together.

And Ryan"s reaction to the news didn"t win him many fans…

1. Major News

Fans learned several weeks ago that Mackenzie is pregnant with Ryan’s baby, but it was only last night that the couple officially confirmed the news.

2. A Joyous Occasion?

Ryan and Mackenzie headed to a doctor’s appointment together where they heard the baby’s heartbeat for the first time.

3. Ryan’s Reaction

Throughout the appointment Ryan sat with arms crossed, complaining that he’d like to go home and go to bed. Needless to say, Mackenzie was less than thrilled.

4. Jen and Larry Weigh In

Edwards’ parents also had trouble mustering enthusiasm, but for a very different reason.

5. Telling It Like It Is

Edwards’ famously permissive parents expressed concerns that it may not be the ideal time for Ryan to become a father again, due to his recent struggles with heroin and Xanax addiction. At the time they had no idea how right they were.

6. An Awkward Ride

While Mackenzie drove home, Ryan fell asleep in the car, a scene that reminded many viewers of the couple’s unforgettable ride to the church for their first wedding. Fortunately, this time the unconscious Ryan wasn’t behind the wheel.

Maci Bookout: Ryan Edwards is Still Doing Drugs!

If you"ve been keeping up with the comings and goings of Ryan Edwards, you"d probably have some serious doubts that he"s currently clean and sober.

And that"s for many, many reasons.

Ryan was shooting up heroin, and that"s not exactly known as an easy habit to kick. He did go to rehab, but he left before completing even 30 days.

When he got home, he promptly began drinking, and we"ve seen him with a beer in hand in quite a few Teen Mom scenes since then.

None of that is great, but in the past few weeks, things have seriously begun falling apart for him.

He was arrested late last month for violating the probation he was on for an arrest last April — possession charges — and it was also revealed that he"d been creeping on ladies on Tinder again.

Both of those things are especially bad since right at that same time, the news came out that Mackenzie Standifer is pregnant with their first child together.

What else … oh, Maci Bookout and her family filed orders of protection against him because he"d been threatening to kidnap Bentley, and also because he threatened to murder Maci"s husband.

So yeah, you may have had an inkling that Ryan isn"t exactly drug-free these days.

But in this sneak peek for the season finale of Teen Mom OG, Maci is confirming it.

In the clip, Maci and her mom sit down for a nice little lunch together, and she breaks the news that Ryan is going to be a father again.

"Uh, I"m sorry, what?" Mama Bookout says in response, which is pretty much what we all said when we heard the news, too.

She also says that she "thought Ryan wasn"t about that life right now," which is still true.

Mackenzie is pregnant, but Ryan told her to call him when the is about three, so it feels safe to say that he"s still not about that life.

Maci shrugs and says that she has no clue, and her mom tries to look on the bright side by speculating that maybe having a baby "is what Ryan needs."

Bless her heart.

"Maybe, maybe not," Maci replies. "I feel like if this don"t do the trick then absolutely nothing will."

"He"s 30," her mother tells her. "Ryan"s going to do what Ryan wants to do. Babies and wives and baby mamas and stuff aren"t gonna do it for him."

She then asks if he"s passed the drug test to see Bentley yet, and Maci says that he hasn"t, which they agree is a good sign that he"s not clean.

"My people know people," Maci says. "I mean, he"s not clean. He"s not. Like that"s just it, he"s not."

The people she"s talking about are probably the same people that told her last year that his drug problem had escalated, and we all saw proof of that on the show, so it"s likely good information.

And the proof for that is what"s been happening for the past few weeks.

Maybe having a baby will help Ryan straighten up, but he wasn"t doing heroin when Maci had Bentley, and he was a deadbeat then, so we can"t imagine heroin would make it easier.

Ryan Edwards: Is Mackenzie Standifer Responsible for His Drug Use and Violent Behavior?

It"s been a good long while since the Teen Mom franchise had a villain as universally hated as Mackenzie Standifer.

Which is really something when you consider the kind of literal trash MTV has shown us over the years.

Seriously, this is a show that"s featured the likes of Adam Lind, Nathan Griffith, David Eason, Matt Baier, Catelynn Lowell"s mom … the list of horrible people goes on and on.

But nope, Mackenzie is the real monster here.

Believe it or not, many people actually think that, and with all of Ryan Edwards" recent issues, people are hating on her more than ever.

Why?

Let"s discuss.

1. Mr. and Mrs. Edwards

OK, so Ryan and Mackenzie met somehow, somewhere — she says they met at the gym, but who even knows — they quickly got engaged, and though they were planning a wedding for November of 2017, they up and got hitched in a parking lot by the river last May first.

2. Red Flags, Girl

She said that they were getting married to help him gain more custody of Bentley, which didn’t make sense, but what was really alarming was that he drove them to that little wedding high on heroin.

3. Noooooo

Teen Mom fans weren’t too fond of Mackenzie before that — in an earlier episode that season, we saw her go behind Maci’s back to trash her to Ryan and his parents — but when she turned off the cameras instead of taking control of that horrible situation, the hate really started going strong.

4. 525,600 Minutes

But then on the reunion special when Mackenzie read an open letter to Maci, basically blaming her for Ryan’s addiction … well, that’s when she pretty much set herself up for a lifetime of loathing.

5. Just Stop, Mack

This current season of Teen Mom OG started off at that very reunion, and Mackenzie’s been digging her hole deeper ever since. She keeps obsessing over Maci in a really immature, catty way, and it’s definitely not been a good look for her.

6. There’s a Line

But while she’s undoubtedly obnoxious and not very likable, she’s been getting just an insanely massive amount of criticism now that Ryan’s whole entire life is falling apart.

Ryan Edwards: Gun Obsession, History of Erratic Behavior Exposed

If you"ve been following the latest news surrounding Teen Mom OG star Ryan Edwards, you know things are not going well for Maci Bookout"s troubled ex.

It all started last week, when Ryan got arrested for a probation violation.

From there, he fell onto a disastrous downward spiral that culminated in Maci filing for an order of protection to prevent Ryan from having any contact with her or her family.

Her filing revealed that Edwards had threatened to kill her husband, Taylor McKinney, and now we know that"s not the only time he"s displayed truly troubling behavior in recent years…

Ryan’s year-long descent into chaos began when he fell victim to heroin addiction last year. Teen Mom OG fans watched in horror as the father of one repeatedly gambled with his life.

2. The First Rock Bottom

Ryan lost consciousness while driving to the church for his wedding to Mackenzie Standifer. He checked into rehab shortly thereafter, and for a while, it looked as though his life was on the upswing.

3. Bad Omens

Unfortunately, Ryan left rehab ahead of schedule. He then demonstrated that he was still grappling with many of his old demons when he launched a bizarre social media tirade against Maci.

4. A Second Chance

Ryan and Mackenzie held a second wedding to make up for their disastrous first attempt. Fans were stunned to see Ryan drinking beer and downing shots prior to the ceremony.

5. A Secret Arrest

Ryan and Mackenzie did a surprisingly good job of pretending that all was well, but little did we know, their lives were unraveling behind the scenes. In April of 2017, Ryan was arrested for heroin possession, but the couple managed to keep the matter a secret – both from fans and from Maci.

6. The Past Bites Back

That arrest came back to haunt Ryan this week when he was arrested again, this time for an undisclosed probation violation. Now, his worst nightmares are coming true, as his life falls apart in front of all the world.
