Donald Trump Slams Stephen Colbert: I Saved His Career!
When Stephen Colbert began hosting his own show back in 2005, he was playing a character.
The “Stephen Colbert” of The Colbert Report was a puffed-up, right-wing, bile-spewing egomaniac who embodied everything loathsome about American politics.
When Colbert left both the show and the character behind to fill David Letterman’s CBS time slot back in 2014, fans worried that no one else would be able to so deftly highlight the absurdity of political extremism in 21st Century America.
Little did we know the 2016 election held in store.

It feels like if you tune out even momentarily you miss another jaw-dropping example of Donald Trump proving he’s woefully unqualified not only for the presidency, but for any position that requires regular participation in polite society.
This week’s lowlight was Trump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey, a move so blatantly corrupt that even the Richard Nixon Presidential Library has been getting its shots in.
But of all the people taking shots at Trump, it seems it’s Colbert who’s most effectively gotten under the president’s Day-Glo skin.
Back on May 4, Colbert joked about the very friendly relationship between Trump and Vladimir Putin, and it seems Trump has spent the past week crafting his response.
As usual, he choose “unhinged ravings of a lunatic” as his medium:
“There’s nothing funny about what he says,” Trump told Time magazine today.
“And what he says is filthy. And you have kids watching. And it only builds up my base. It only helps me, people like him. The guy was dying.”
That’s around the time when a remotely sane person would stop talking, but this id the President of the United States we’re talking about!
“By the way they were going to take him off television, then he started attacking me and he started doing better. But his show was dying,” Trump went on.
“I’ve done his show. … But when I did his show, which by the way was very highly rated. It was high highest rating. The highest rating he’s ever had.”
Yes, apparently Donald Trump has delicate the sensibilities of a Southern belle and he just faints dead away at the utterance of the mildest profanity.
So next time Melania wants him to shut the hell up, she just play a tape of Donald’s conversation with Billy Bush.

Tori Spelling: Having Another Child Saved My Marriage!
Tori Spelling has given birth to her fifth child with love rat Dean McDermott and seems to think this new addition to the family will right the ship that was rocked almost three years ago when Dean cheated on her.
The latest addition is a boy, and he was named Beau Dean.
It all sounds like a storyline constructed purely for reality TV cameras, right? Yes, Tori has had a knack for having a very public relationship all in the name of ratings for her reality TV efforts.
It’s pretty desperate, but at least if it all goes up in flames, she has a cute new son to add to her growing brood. Also, the former Beverly Hills 90210 opened up to People about how she really feels about sticking by Dean.
“Everyone was saying, ‘Divorce him! Why is she staying with him? That is weak,’” she revealed.
“But my gut instincts just shut it all out, and I said, ‘I love this man. If there is a way to work it out, I want to try to do that.’”
“We worked on everything,” says Spelling. “The relationship as we knew it died. We had to bury that and start new.”
If anything, it seems like Tori loves Dean very much. It must have been horrible finding out that she was being cheated on, but Dean must be running through hoops to get her seal of approval again.
Going to rehab for sex addiction was probably instrumental in their path to exploit save their marriage. Still, it sounds like a storyline ripped straight from reality TV or even Beverly Hills, 90210.
“Rebuilding our marriage took time,” the actress continued. “And now, having a new baby, it makes sense. It’s like a new baby in a new relationship.”
Dean even chimed in with his two cents to let everyone know Tori was not the only one who wanted a new baby.
“I am so blessed and lucky that she never walked away, because now we have this incredible relationship,” he says. “And I can’t imagine life without Beau.”
Good luck, Beau Dean, you’re going to need it if your parents think the solution to solving problems is to have another kid.

Savannah Chrisley Shares Car Crash Details: A Stranger Saved My Life!
Earlier this week, we learned that Chrisley Knows Best star Savannah Chrisley was involved in a car accident that left her with a number of severe injuries.
Savannah is at the beginning of a long and difficult recovery process, having suffered several cracked vertebrae, along with a number of serious injuries.
Though she may be laid up as long as six weeks, Savannah has taken the time to address fans and ensure that’s she’s resting comfortably – and feeling more gratitude than pain:
Savannah called into an E! News broadcast last night withher father, Todd Chrisley, by her side.
“This whole experience has been very scary for me,” Savannah told fans via Skype.
“It’s put a lot of things into perspective and it’s made me realize things I need more focus on.”
Her father joked that he’d like viewers to “look out for the girl wearing the helmet and riding a tricycle down the highways going forward.”
In a moving blog post on the subject of her terrifying ordeal, Savannah had this to say:
“What I do remember is going in and out of consciousness screaming for help and cars just continued to pass. It felt like I had been laying there for at least twenty minutes begging for help,” Savannah shared.
“And then a man stopped and ran over to me and got the police my way…so thank you to the amazing man that stopped and helped me as everyone else was passing.
“I have no idea who you are but thank you…I could never repay you for your act of kindness.”
She went on to write that while the experience has been incredibly frightening, she still believes there’s some good to be gleaned from it:
“I truly believe that God has used this situation to open my eyes to what is truly important in life and to put my focus back on Him in order to live the right life and be unbelievably happy.
“So right now I just want to say thank you again…love you all.”
The Chrisley family says they’re tremendously thankful for the outpouring of support they’ve received.
Meanwhile, newly-released police report confirms that Chrisley was indeed not at fault for the crash, as some online trolls suggested yesterday:
“Vehicle one was traveling south bound on interstate 65 near Armory Drive,” officers wrote in the report.
“The driver of vehicle number one advised officers that her foot became tangled up in the floor mat and then behind the brake pedal in the process of trying to free her foot.”

Golden Retriever SAVED From Icy Michigan Lake
The Winter is a tough enough time for us humans, but it"s even more tough for our little four-legged friends.
On Wednesday, December 28, 2016, a 14-year-old golden retriever found himself in a whole lot of trouble when he fell through a hole at White Lake.
Thankfully, local residents and the White Lake Fire Authority were on tap to help the furry friend make it back to the shore.
In the video below, you can see the daring rescue that successfully managed to reunite the little guy with the mainland.
Unfortunately, his owner was nowhere to be found, but Lana Carson, the director of Pound Buddies revealed that dog has been reunited with his owner sometime later.
It"s great when everything comes together. Right?
The White Lake Fire Authority later revealed that the rescue was their 1000th alarm of 2016.
They took the time to thank everyone who helped them out.

Thank you to the residents on shore, Muskegon County Animal Control Officer and Whitehall Police Chief Squiers for the assistance on this alarm. Most importantly, thank you to the Department staff that responded to this alarm making for a successful outcome.
