Elon Musk Smokes a Blunt With Joe Rogan; Tesla Stock Plummets 9 Percent
And you thought that car he launched into space was high. Zing!
As you may already know, Elon Musk has endured quite a drubbing from the press in recent weeks.
It all started with an emotional New York Times interview in which the Tesla and Space-X CEO tearfully carried on about the pain of spending his 47th birthday alone.
From there, things got quickly became even more bizarre, as Musk was involved in a public feud with Azealia Banks that saw the rapper issuing allegations of drug use and erratic behavior.
(Banks later apologized for the accusations.)
Combine those PR debacles with Musk’s tweets about a plan to take his publicly-traded company private in what would have been the biggest buyout in history, and it’s not hard to see why Tesla stock isn’t exactly soaring at the moment.
Presumably, in an effort to begin the lengthy process of rebuilding his public image as wells as shareholders’ trust, Musk decided to make an appearance Joe Rogan’s podcast, which is like Oprah for people who experiment with DMT and spend a lot of time talking about their gains.
In all seriousness, Rogan’s podcast is one of the most popular on the planet, and no outlet that features thoughtful discussion of dense topics in a 3-4 hour format reaches a larger audience.
So it could have been a smart move for Musk, had he not decided to take the host — a proud advocate of the therapeutic and recreational benefits of mind-altering substances — up on his offer to spark a blunt and sip a little whiskey.
Now, even in the most conservative circles, attitudes toward cannabis use have never been more relaxed.
Prohibition of pot is glacially coming to an end, and all over the country, people are walking in on their college-aged kids or elderly parents smoking a joint and responding by calmly encouraging them to pass that.
But Musk’s case is a bit different than most.
The decision to light up with Rogan comes on the heels of accusations that Musk made the decision to take his company private (at $ 420 a share, tee-hee) while tripping on acid.
So we suppose it’s understandable that some of Tesla’s more traditional shareholders weren’t thrilled to see the company’s CEO burning one down in front of an audience of millions.
In fact, the price of Tesla shares has plummeted an astonishing 9 percent in the past 24 hours, with experts chalking the drop up to Musk’s latest behavior.
Tesla stock is now down 40 percent from the company’s 52-week … high (sorry).
Frankly, we don’t see what all the fuss is about.
Folks who were worried that Musk is on drugs should have had their minds put at ease by the fact that this man clearly has no experience smoking blunts.

Orangutan Smokes Strewn Cigarette, Animal Activisits Flip Out
A video that depicts an orangutan smoking a cigarette discarded by a zoo patron has gone viral …
… and not in the positive sense, either, according to many animal rights activists.
Indeed, the following footage has sparked international anger toward this zoo"s alleged mistreatment of animals.
The video was shot by a visitor last Sunday at Indonesia"s Bandung Zoo, which is approximately 90 miles southeast of the capital, Jakarta.
As you"re about to see, it captures a young man taking a few puffs from a cigarette and then tossing the still-lit item to the ground of an open-air enclosure.
It"s at this point that a 22-year old orangutan named Odon actually picks up the cigarette and begins to inhale it, drawing immense laughter from the crowd.
But many folks out there do not find this incident to be funny.
A handful of animal rights organizations have condemned the visitor’s carelessness and the zoo’s apparent lack of supervision and education against such acts.
However…
"There"s actually a sign at the location which says visitors are not allowed to give food and cigarettes to the animals," said a zoo spokesperson in response to this scandal.
Still, though, Marison Guciano, founder of the Indonesia Animal Welfare Society, went after the zoo"s management for "weak control"and generally criticized the place for a lack of welfare standards.
Elsewhere, about one million people have signed a Change.org petition to "Shut down the Bandung Zoo now!" following the orangutan incident.
It reminds us, to some extent, of the extreme outcry that took place in May of 2016 after a gorilla at the Cincinnati Zoo had to be shot to death because a toddler climbed into its enclosure.

Scary stuff.
But an orangutan smoking is just funny stuff… right?

Southwest Airlines Woman Smokes, Threatens to Kill Fellow Passengers
There are a lot of rules on airplanes, but most of them are fairly common sense. You know, don"t smoke, don"t shove the flight attendants, and definitely don"t threaten to murder everyone onboard.
Unfortunately, one woman apparently didn"t get the memo, as she managed to do all three in a very short amount of time.
It doesn"t sound like anybody actually got hurt, but she"s obviously in major trouble. And yes, folks. There"s video.
As you"re about to see in the video below, a woman named Valerie Curbelo seemed to lose her mind on a Southwest Airlines flight.
Now, plenty of people feel like they"re "gonna lose it" on a flight.
Maybe a kid keeps kicking their seat. Maybe they"re sitting beside someone with poor boundaries or who won"t stop talking or who snores loudly.
(There are other potential complaints that one might have — airplanes are metal tubes that cram as many humans into them as possible for hours at a time)
But feeling irritated by circumstances is very, very different from what happened to Valerie.
She"s in jail, folks.
Apparently, Valerie Curbelo went into the bathroom, tampered with the smoke detector, and smoked.
On an airplane.
Like it"s the 1960s or something.
That is, to be clear, absolutely inexcusable. The do-not-smoke signs are impossible to miss, and it"s been more or less understood in society for years and years that you don"t just start smoking in an enclosed public place like it"s The Purge.
As bad as that is, though, it"s what Valerie did next that got her into so much more trouble.
And that"s the part that was captured on video.
Valerie can be seen irate, having apparently grabbed her belongings and even donned a hat.
Angrily, she yells:
"I have a destination for myself!"
That"s a worrisome and also very strange thing to say, let alone yell while dressed as though you"re about to try to leap out of the plane with the expectation that you"ll suddenly learn how to fly.
"I swear, if you don’t … land."
Oh boy, threats.
"I will f—ing kill everybody on this f—ing plane!"
She reportedly then shoved an airline attendant and had to be restrained for the rest of the flight.
Upon landing, she was arrested on a felony charge of making a death threat. Obviously.
As you"ll also see in the video, she is now at a loss to explain her behavior on the plane, saying only that it was brought about by anxiety.
Having a hankering for a cigarette is not an excuse for anything, but … what if there"s something more?
Everyone"s brain is a little different. If this is an isolated incident, it may be that this woman"s body responds to a change in air pressure in a dramatic way that made her behavior beyond her control.
If there"s an identifiable and treatable mental illness behind this, she could go on to live a fairly normal life.
But we don"t imagine that she"ll be welcome on many airplanes in the near future.
Those No-Fly lists are not a laughing matter.

Kim Kardashian Smokes Weed Out of Ray J"s Penis-Shaped Pipe in Newly-Released Video!
Just hearing the phrase “Kim Kardashian and Ray J” is probably enough to conjure memories of the most celebrity famous sex tape in the history of the Internet.
The Kim and Ray J sex tape was like basically Star Wars and The Godfather rolled into one.
It raised the bar in terms of both popularity and artistry, so it should come as no surprise that, as with those films, there have been multiple attempts at a sequel.
In the past, claims of a new Kim Kardashian sex tape footage have been mostly bogus PR stunts.
Like, Vivid would release a never-before-seen minute to celebrate the tape’s tenth anniversary, but it would consist of Kim cobing her hair or some crap.
Maybe that’s your thing, but it doesn’t do it for most people.
Anyway, new footage published by Radar Online actually does contain something interesting.
In fact, it shows us a side of Kim we’ve never seen before!
In the past Kim has claimed that she never did drugs, and her drinking is limited to “four shots of vodka in Vegas once a year.”
(Ed. note: Vodka shots? Kim, are you aware you’re 36, and could afford, like, the best wine on the planet? Just sayin’.)
In recent weeks, however, we’ve learned that Kim has been known to puff on the devil’s lettuce from time to time.
She was reportedly spotted hitting a joint during her family’s recent vacation in Costa Rica.
And now, we know that she occasionally dabbled with the jazz cabbage during her time with Ray J.
Radar Online has obtained footage from 2004 that shows a 23-year-old Kim smoking weed from a pair of interesting glass pipes.
One was shaped like a penis, the other, like a spread-eagled naked woman.
They may not get along these days, but we think it’s safe to say Kim and Ray J had some fun during their time together.
Kim probably secretly longs for those days from time to time when Kanye is picking out her clothes or lecturing on the importance of only using Givenchy cloth diapers.

Ariel Winter Rocks See-Through Shirt, Smokes Cigar, Breaks Internet
Ariel Winter knows what makes the Internet work.

Kris Jenner: Treats Staff Like Slaves, Secretly Smokes!
Certainly, no one is surprised to hear the Kris Jenner is a total piece of sh*t. Not only did Kris ruin Scott Disick’s life, she also treats non-family members terribly.
According to this week’s issue of Life & Style magazine, Kris Jenner treats her staff like her personal slaves. The magazine interviewed one of Kris’ former employees. And the story that was told was u.g.l.y.
Apparently, Kris is so difficult to work for that she can’t keep a permanent staff: “She is on her fourth assistant this year alone. She is super moody and wants everything to be perfect all of the time.”
“If one little thing goes wrong, it’s like the end of the world! She is very scary,” the source explained.
Not only does she treat her staff terribly, she makes them lie for her! The source dished that Jenner is a “secret smoker,” and that she hires staff for the sole purpose of buying her cigarettes.
Part of their job responsibilities is to hide her disgusting smoking habit from her children.
We would praise Kris for hiding her cigarette addiction from her kids if it weren’t for the fact that everything else she does as a parent is terrible.
Other staff members are required to do tasks Kris could definitely do herself, such as shopping for groceries and filling up her Rolls Royce with gas.
According to the source, every week, she demands that her staff throw away all of the food in the house so that they can buy new groceries. They are then expected to organize the refrigerator and ensure everything is in a straight line with labels facing forward.
Life & Style’s source also said that the only person in the house that is remotely kind to the staff is Kris Jenner’s younger boyfriend Corey Gamble.
Rumors claims that Kris wants to marry Corey Gamble to boost KUWTK ratings. Let’s hope she does so that someone can treat the staff kindly.

Rich Homie Quan Smokes Weed With 1-Year-Old Son in His Lap: WATCH!
There are few things that rappers love more than smoking weed on camera. Fortunately, they usually don"t have toddlers in their laps when they do it.
Richie Homie Quan apparently decided not to observe the unofficial "don"t give babies a contact high" rule while watching football on Sunday.
Even more baffling/infuriating is the fact that he took video of himself smoking weed about a foot from his kid"s face and posted it to Instagram.
When Quan was hospitalized seizures last year, there were rumors that the 25-year-old had become addicted sizzurp and prescription painkillers.
Obviously, we hope that"s not true, but when someone does something this idiotic, it"s hard not to assume they"re on a lot of drugs.
