Donald Trump has said some pretty amazing things while running for President. Many of which could be considered offensive.
When it comes to women, however, the Republican frontrunner and real estate mogul"s appalling record runs far, far deeper.
Trump has slammed the fairer sex in various ways since nearly the first moment he became famous, often in graphic terms.
Making it clear he can"t see much beyond their attractive exteriors, the Donald absolutely cannot hide his rampant misogyny.
Are we using that term loosely? Or, conversely, are we making the understatement of all time for one of the all-time sexists?
Read these quotes and tales and decide:
1. What Matters Most in Life
Speaking to Esquire in 1991, Trump said: “You know, it doesn’t really matter what [the media] write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass.”
2. Look at That Face!
“Look at that face!” Donald Trump actually said of former Republican rival Carly Fiorina. “Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!”
3. I FELT Raped, But …
“As a woman, I felt violated, as the love and tenderness, which he normally exhibited towards me, was absent. I referred to this as a ‘rape,’ but I do not want my words to be interpreted in a literal or criminal sense.” – Ivana Trump, walking back but not disavowing a previous description of how Donald tore off her clothes, pulled her hair and raped her.
4. Thank You, Donald?
Trump said the following to the face of a reporter in 2014: “We could say politically correct that look doesn’t matter, but the look obviously matters. Like, you wouldn’t have your job if you weren’t beautiful.”
5. Women Are Killers
In “The Art of the Comeback,” Trump writes: Women have one of the great acts of all time. The smart ones act very feminine and needy, but inside they are real killers. The person who came up with the expression ‘the weaker sex’ was either very naive or had to be kidding. I have seen women manipulate men with just a twitch of their eye … or perhaps another body part.
6. No Need to Spill the Beans
Trump’s feud with fellow GOP contender Ted Cruz took a nasty turn in March 2016 … and devolved to the point where Don re-tweeted this comparison making the point that his wife is hotter than Ted’s.
