The Amber Rose Show: When Does It Premiere?!?

The Amber Rose Show is officially something that exists and is coming to VH1.

Will she succeed where former rival Khloe Kardashian failed and become an actual, successful talk show host?

Stranger things have (probably) happened, right?

According to a new VH1 press release, The Amber Rose Show will debut on Friday, June 17 at 11 ET/PT.

It will be produced by Dr. Phil and “will bring Rose’s unique, unapologetic style, hustle and hilarious point of view to re-invent late night.”

Gulp. Should Jimmy Kimmel and company be concerned?!?

Rose, of course, jumped into the spotlight many years ago when she started to date Kanye West.

Those two broke up, but Rose went on to have a child with Wiz Khalifa and follow in the viral footsteps of folks such as Kim Kardashian.

She’s basically famous now for taking selfies on Instagram and for having recently come out with her own line of emojis.

VH1 describes Rose as a feminist, author, actor and entrepreneur, while promoting her nickname (“Muva Rose”) and her 18 million-plus followers.

Look for her to conduct candid interviews with industry experts on her show, while also leading conversations with guests about pop culture, parenting, relationships, friendships, race and entrepreneurship, among other topics.

“VH1 and Amber Rose are the perfect blend – hip, current, and on the cutting edge of what’s trending in pop culture,” say Dr. Phil and his son via statement.

“Amber brings a distinctive point of view to today’s issues and with her celebrity guests, will make for very provocative conversations.

“We are confident her unique voice will resonate with viewers and will be a distinctive addition to the late night talk show landscape.”

No matter how Rose fares as host, this much is certain: she cannot be worse than Wendy Williams.
